You can see how they love their kids. They wanted Eddie to stay in Texas because they love him and their grandson. They wanted to help him because they did not want him to struggle and Eddie and Shannon were still very much a kids and they worried. They are humans, stop dehumanizing them. We can go into the trauma immigrate parents have and how the generational trauma effect their children and grandchildren. They are trying to be better.
