Struggling to get his face shape and eye size right

So I grew up with three rules:

1. Don't get/get someone else pregnant

2. Don't sit in the back seat of two door cars

3. Don't do dumb shit

Explanation:

1. we live in a town that has very high amounts of teen pregnancy and gang members.

2. two door cars sometimes have seats in the back but they are never actual seats and if you get in a car crash it lifts your chances of dying

3. pretty self explanatory but I just kinda covered everything else

So yeah I thought I might just shear this

esp because i feel like as time goes on the vocab in this game gets progressively more complicated. so watching new players figure it out is funny too

i went back and studied Habit's official art and made myself some notes about his canon features, just putting this down here in case anyone else wants them!

the upper and lower parts of his face are basically equal in size, but it just looks like he's got more chin when his features are all on

his eyes are bigger than they seem, a lot of their size is just in his eyelids though, which are usually half-lidded without an outline in canon. the eyebrows also tend to sit right on top of his lids, though it varies

also with the eyes, their entire shape is something like either a sharp egg or a soft diamond. his "main" eye shape becomes a triangle when that's split in half, and gives him that droopy, kinda sad look when his eyes aren't fully open. again, this one mostly depends on the timeframe when yugo had drawn him

the nose is thinner than i thought, and is pretty long as it takes up about 50% of his face or so

his "cat" mouth translates to a slight pout in 3d, and could be drawn as a slight overbite (?)

though his limbs and neck definitely can make him seem thinner than he is at a glance, most of his mass seems to be in his torso, and he's pretty heavy compared to most other characters (this is most easily seen in his silhouette / 'shadow' form)

(this isn't complete by any stretch but it's mostly the placement of his facial features that i struggle with asdfdsasdfghgfgh)

A while ago (about a year) @vampcleric was telling me about this whole aesthetic called Mediterranean gothic. So, since this week is Orthodox Easter, and more specifically today is big Friday (the day Christ got crucified) I wanted to extend my thoughts a bit upon this subject. There is something truly unsettling about living in a big city and suddenly everything going silent other than the distant ring of mourning bells. Cars hardly go around, the neighbors are all inside their house with their families or in their villages.

I am not Christian myself but I can't help to think of all the Fridays I've spent in my village up on the mountains, with dark stormy clouds and sometimes even mist and rain. The backdrop of the snowed mountains only enhance this feeling of emptiness and silence.

I think we could describe this day as a liminal space in time. The sun still peaks through the clouds but the wind is cold, even with the days being bright the feeling of loss and the sense of mortality are very much felt.

So, yhea I think I finally understand what it meant when speaking of Mediterranean gothic.

It seems that regardless of the nature of my interests and hobbies, others perceive them as childish and frivolous, which is incredibly frustrating. Even when discussing topics like Ancient Rome, I'm met with judgment for my enthusiasm. It feels like an unwinnable situation.
