I hate this...

I have ideas. I know where stories are going.

That scene in Stolen Child I've been screaming about forever? Yeah, had a brain wave about it last week. Maybe not enough to get me through the scene, but enough to get me to the next transition and restructure where I give the audience information so it flows better.

But every time I get time to write...even on my days off...I'm suddenly...

So.

Damn.

Tired.

I mean, I even took a nap today! And now I'm groggy, can't focus, and it's too late in the day for caffeine. If I'd have taken a nap yesterday, I'd have been in the same boat (by not taking one I at least got some photography done).

I do not get the sudden sleepies! I'm sleeping well enough. At least I think I am. I'm not awake to find out, at any rate. I'm not getting more-or-less exercise (well, okay, Monday was kinda hell at work, but that was a one off).

My only thought was that it got Sunny and Warm and then today went back to being Cloudy and Overcast, but I was not super duper tired on the other Sunny and Warm days either - just yesterday!

And it's super frustrating!

nagi would call you a panda if you have eyebags / dark circles. he doesn't mean it in a mean way, in fact, he finds pandas absolutely adorable and you're adorable so it fits. he'd squish your cheeks while calling you my little panda in a baby voice. also, he calls himself the bamboo to your panda .. he's just silly like that.

Warriors to four: what is love?

Four *starts trying not to smile*: whenever people become close to each other and care about each other.

Warriors *suspiciously eyeing him*: okay.

Warriors to wind: what is love?

Wind *immediately smirks and inhales*: BA-

Wild *shoving wind out of the way*: BABY DONT HURT ME!

Hyrule *across camp looking over at wild*: DON’T HURT ME!!

Legend *walking behind wars picking up random sticks quietly saying*: no more.

Warriors *face full of confusion*: seriously wtf is wrong with you guys??

Wind *snickering while laying face first on the ground*

This comic is based off my little brother- who I adore to bits- but who also struggles saying "I love you", "I miss you" or "I'm worried about you". Instead of saying those things he tends to do random acts to get my attention and/or cheer me up. When I left for college he brought up a ton of stuff that he had stolen from me over the years and it was honestly very cute. <3

(This is actually months and months old- but I found it the other day and I don't think I ever posted it (maybe???), which is a shame 'cause I remember being really proud of it. If I did post it and I forgot... uhhhh happy repost? Idk)

As an older sibling who is a regressor, I wish I wasn’t the oldest. I wish I had an older brother.

I want someone to baby me, to look out for me, instead of the other way around. I want someone who wants to protect me and is capable of doing so. I want someone who is supportive of my femininity but also indulges me in more masculine activities. Someone older to confide in when parents just don’t understand. I want to be the one who has to “tag along.” I don’t want to be responsible, I want someone to be responsible for me. I want an older brother.

“Oh, take your little sister with you.” And he does and he includes me and makes me feel special.

“This is my little sister. I hope you don’t mind that she hangs around.” Is what he would say as he introduces me to his friends who I think are so cool.

He would say things like, “Hold brother’s hand,” or ask me what was wrong. I could confide in him because big brother always knows how to make me smile when my eyes are teary or comfort me when I’m scared. He would be silly and make me laugh.

I know that’s such a fictional idea of an older brother and probably not realistic, but I crave that specific type of affection and attention. Most of the time when I envision having a caregiver, the image is usually platonic, and the older brother figure is the one I always return to. I want to be little and small and I want my kind older brother to be my whole world… Does that make sense?

Scott Summers speaks to me on a personal autistic level in Marvel Snapshots and I want to talk about it a little bit

Trying to be helpful bc you know something and being told you're weird for it

Obsessed with the Fantastic Four/superheroes (same) and being especially drawn to them bc they're different like him (I mean his favourite is Reed who's also autistic/heavily autistic coded in most comics, and again SAME, Scott)

Thinking you just need to figure out one thing and suddenly all the strange things about you will make sense

Being obsessive about his interests (HARD RELATE I GET LIKE THIS A LOT)

Ignoring real life things/responsibilities bc he's so focused on something he's obsessed with (in this case seeing a member of the Fantastic Four)

Thinking that other autistic people who seem to have it all 'together' have figured out how to almost be allistic/completely understand the world like an allistic person when really you never will and that's fine!! (idk how to word this bit right for iykyk I guess?? Basically I will never fully 'get it' with some things that make sense to allistics but that's fine)
