I know who and what I am, and my partner and boyfriend both treat me as who/what I see myself as. So when I'm finally home and can brush the weight of the world off my shoulders and see my partners, I'm the happiest robot-woman in the world.

With that and an online community of people, I know that I'm not alone in any of these experiences. You won't be alone either.

personally im so sick of aew vs wwe. its making me like aew more than ever and hate wwe more and more. I still love both companies, I will still watch both companies to support all of my favorite wrestlers, but what is it with nxt and aew now being on the same night. it sucks for wwe fans, aew fans, and fans of both promotions. enough with the politics embrace the wrestling.

heartstopper is extremely easily accessible. it's not overtly sexual like something like Sex Education or Heartbreak High, it's short and easy to watch.

fans of heartstopper aren't acting like this show invented asexuality or aromanticism. we're acknowledging that a show written by an acearo person and says "ace aro" on screen has good ace aro rep.

I'm asexual. I related to both Isaac and Ca$h's storylines in Heartstopper and Heartbreak High. Isaac's self discovery and Ca$h's blatant "You're either with me or against me, and I won't take it if you're against me" mindset.

and I love heartstopper. it's one of my favorite shows and my favorite book is Radio Silence. I love Heartbreak High. both are good ace rep. and the shows came out at the same time.

nobody "invented" ace rep. Alice Oseman is just existing in this space as an acearo person writing an acearo character. that's not inventing ace rep. that's just writing a character. we're not out here congratulating the white woman for anything that's not original. we're just fucking happy to see an ace character on our screens in a majorly popular TV show where his discovery of sexuality is a major plot point.

we know that Reko's father forced her into the industry at an early age, but it's not entirely clear what genre. The idea of it being an 'industry' definitely implies she was more of a pop idol since there isn't really a 'classical' industry in the same vein, though there is still definitely heavy competition and a lot of notoriety to be gained through being very skilled at classical music, especially at an early age, so I wouldn't be so quick to write that off, either. Even so, the plot line of her being 'forced to make music she didn't want to make' and her father being blinded by money definitely feels like it makes more sense in the context of a popstar. In my personal opinion, I like the pop idol route because it really emphasizes the distinction between her current views and aesthetic and the one her father would've been trying to get her to be. A sudden stark rebellion by going super edgy and emo in middleschool contrasts with her needing to be seen as nice, innocent, happy all the time (and probably a fair bit more feminine than she actually felt, too, since alt styles are heavily associated with androgyny). Its also worth noting that she mentioned crushing multiple huge industry offers throughout her later years, which further implies she had a strong reputation already. However logic is pulling on my sleeve and it's telling me that it honestly feels weirder for a 10-13 (this age range being chosen with the logic that it would've had to been *before* or she entered middle school, as per her personal account) year old kid to be a super successful pop idol than a highly successful classical music prodigy. Though, I guess there's the possibility her father actively lied about her age to get her in the idol industry.

I'm at the point of the day where I've spent so much time being and sounding so competent on the phone and on zoom that I'm exhausted, my mind is spinning and all I want to do is lay down on the floor.

Like, how is it possible that I am the person who knows the answers to all these questions, this weirdly professional and adult person, and the same person who can't wait to crawl into bed with my stupid phone games and coloring app and another episode of Alone.

me and a friend were talking about JK Rowling's bullshit recently and i realised that it is HIGHLY interesting that she has so much to say about what bathrooms transgender women use, because she's apparently SO concerned about the safety of cisgender girls... when her own famous story includes the character of a girl who was murdered by a boy in the girls' toilets... and then, the SAME GIRL (victim of a HATE CRIME, by the way) was written as ANNOYING rather than a victim to be sympathised with... ironic.
