Love your Wind as a humming bird comic. Any ideas for what the others would change into?? (I think Time as a kitten or something adorable would be funny)

Thank you! Wind as a hummingbird is such a wonderful idea and I have to thank and give credit to @/winkwonkblog for the prompt! I didn't really do Wind as a hummingbird justice when it came to like, drawing him well, but I had fun playing with the idea of it.

As for dark world forms! The fandom's done a great job exploring this and I really like a lot of (at least what I think are?) the more common takes! My preferences have been influenced by all the pieces of fanart, fic, and discussion I've seen - so many pieces that are tried, true, and tested! - so I don't have much to add! I like what the fandom's come up with and enjoy seeing new interpretations. It's a great big collaboration with a bunch of coexisting ideas and I love that.

These are going to be familiar lol (and I'll include some recs too, as one does!)

Time - I agree that Time being a cat or something cute and fuzzy would be funny because it would clash so much with how he's presented in the comic! Let him be something soft and unassuming so he can use it to his advantage for shenanigans! Like Legend though, I think he'd dislike being so fragile. He needs claws or something. To be honest, the hero of time being a golden wolf has never really felt right to me. I see general oot/mm Link as more of an an owl or fox. However, his characterization in LU makes it fit and I appreciate that. It's gotten me to come around to it some.

Twi - Wolfie, yeah

Wild - coyote or deer

Sky - Remlit, goose, or dove (Failure and Fortitude by sister_dear and this art by luwyv, and Untitled Goose Fic by theScrap_Witch)

Warriors - Wars as a weasel or ferret! Something with very nice and pretty fur and very sharp teeth. The thought of Legend holding him up and slinkying him around is amusing. (it's much-too-late'o'clock for me so I get to make up words)

Legend - Rabbit (read this if you haven't !!!-> Not half Pawd by SongMina, as well as Tiny Adventures by Lightning of Farosh)

Four - Hummingbird, mouse, or cat (All of @/chrispy-chimkin's LU Wing AU! Just look at Four!!! Look at him!!! &lt;3 &lt;;3 <3 See also Feline Fatale by Seeking7 and Usagisama68)

Wind - Seagull! (Again, Chris' wing au, but also @/layraket's creatures gang, and A Pear and a Portal by glowingjellyfishtreelights)

Hyrule - I'm not really sure! My joke answer is an okapi. Maybe a badger! idk! he's a dragonfly-winged fairy idk about an animal form for him. A coyote or gray fox, a brown-colored medium sized bird, something like that. Sorry I don't have the most inspired answers haha. I imagine Hyrule's Hyrule (in Zelda 1) as california chaparral so I think he'd be some kind of creature that lives there. I can tell you what kind of tree he'd be!!! Hyrule would be a ribbonwood tree (aka redshanks)! Ribbonwood bounces back quickly after wildfires, with the leaves sprouting again even after being all burned off. The bark that falls away from the tree comes off in strips or "ribbons" that are soft but scratchy and brittle when dried out. that give the tree a kind of whipsy appearance. It's wild and wiggly (I'm all out of adjectives at the moment) and very much a part of the landscape, a piece that ties it all together. The smooth bark underneath is a deep red and cool to the touch. The earthy red and vivid yellowing-green color is suiting. If you cup the leaves in your hands and breathe on them they release a soft rain-like smell. I'm just really passionate about Hyrule and this tree and ecosystem ahsfdhas do you see the low shrubs and parched dirt and the scrambling rocks and the mountains!!! the dry and hot and high altitude and dense shrubbery impassable to find hidden paths through! so much green no stranger to fire!!!!

it makes me so happy whenever I see someone talk about playing okami! it really does borrow a lot from loz but not in a bad way, it’s just another reason it’s one of my favorite games of all time. the final boss is incredibly fun, I hope you enjoy it!

I started playing after totk and got to the first dungeon and was like, "Finally, a good traditional Zelda dungeon!" xD

Three puppers?!?!?! THREE?!!! and there's a time gate? and little bug folk? And the stuff with the dragonians (the music that plays as you leave the palace!) Bird mafia. PEOPLE KEEP DYING. I love Issun and he keeps going back and forth with who he thinks is sus and for a while I didn't know what to think of who like ISSUN MAKE UP YOUR MIND DUDE but it's fun and him so it's w/e. Love Issun's various nicknames for Amy. Fishing minigame <3 The story of the princess Kaguya is in Okami and they put her in a bamboo spacesuit I'm screaming!!! Who TF IS WAKA.

Okami shares quite a few themes and stories with the loz games (and this game came out before TP and SkSw) that it has to be like a folklore thing I'm missing out on. It's just so fascinating. I want to learn more about it honestly! The like ghibli, zelda, okami, nature japanese folklore and mythology and religious influences. That stuff. It's 1am but YEAH I'd love to analyze these games from those perspectives

Hello friend!

Congratulations on discovering yourself and working up the courage to come out. It’s a really tough thing to do and I’m really proud of you for taking this step.

So the way I came out to my family is I made a lot of comments hinting at things or pointing LGBTQ+ things out just to see how they’d react. And then when I felt I had gathered enough info on how they’d react and feel, I made sure they were sitting down before just straight up telling them. I was really lucky and my family all took it really well and that was that.

With strangers and friends, I just dropped it very casual and didn’t make a huge deal. Especially after I started dating my girlfriend, I’d straight up tell them I have a girlfriend and move on. I haven’t gotten a negative reaction so far that way so that’s good.

In all honesty the best advice I can give you is to do it whichever makes you and you alone most comfortable. If you want to make it a huge deal, sitting down and telling people like that would be a good option. If you want to keep it subtle, just drop it in conversations, maybe like pointing the people you find attractive, regardless of gender. You could also write letters to people if you don’t want to tell them in person. Give them a letter and ask them to read it later.

I can tell you it’s going to be scary. Your heart is going to pound in your chest as you breath heavily through your nose trying to keep calm as you’ve just spilled this secret. The moments of silence after are going to be the longest moments you’ve ever felt. But I can also tell you that it will all be okay. Regardless, it will be okay. There are people that will support you no matter what happens and someone will always have your back. My dms and my inbox are always open if you need.

Hmm, this is a bit of a hard question but I would say at the top of my list isn't a fic but my series Kissed by Fire. Was one of the first stories I ever wrote when I joined Vikings and despite its flaws I hold a deep fondness for it.

2nd on my list happens to be my more recent Replacement series that focused a lot more on the subtle type of love triangle. It was so difficult to write but I am really proud of going outside the box with that one.

Lastly would be the Contempt trilogy. Writing a more badass type of character is hard when I tend to stick to characters that are soft and fluffy. Again, was a bit of a challenge but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

He was already looking up like animals do when they swim, Moon and Eclipse where just floating.

I drew the faces round, they aren't flat so it wouldn't slow them down much anyways.

I just wanted to draw the boys swimming and pulling their rays back like puppies do because I thought it was cute. (I'm talking about the other post, Sun isn't pulling back his rays here because Moon is carrying him).

Hello! I wanted to ask if in the "Wild and Legend spook each other" Comic Wind is making braided or knotted bracelet or one using kumihimo (bracelet on a disc/round weaving)? I am trying to see what he's making but i am not sure.

Yeah! Wind's making a kumihimo bracelet with a disk. I wanted to give him a craft to work on. At the camp I work at we call these kinds of bracelets / craft project pirate's rope so I thought it'd be fitting. I was wondering if there was a better known name for it though, and yep, it's kumihimo!

For the sake of simplicity I drew circles for the cord. It looks knotted but it's meant to be braided.

Hello! I really hope it hasn't been too long since you sent this in. I'm mostly a mobile user and my mobile app didn't show me I received this ask and for that I sincerely apologize.



BUT ABSOLUTELY!!

Wilbur would be a really pretty bird and he would spend lots of time preening and making sure that his feathers look nice. I feel after he gets revived, it always slightly appears like his feathers are singed and if he gets angry while in bird form, small little billows of smoke rise from his feathers.

I don't know what type of bird he would be. Perhaps a raven to go along with his crow father (Philza) but isn't a direct direct line, ya know. He would still maintain that sleek black appearance. Maybe have a slight grey tint after the restriction like I mentioned. 

He like Philza and Tech would switch into this form when things got too much, or he just needed a break from Tommy. He’d perch on your shoulder, specifically your right one and will caw at Philza if he’d take it. Don’t ask me why, it’s just the vibes I get from him. 

Also Ghostbur being completely grey with hints of blue streaked throughout his feathers. He wouldn’t know what was happening when he was in bird form for the first couple times he was in it and so he’d absolutely seek Y/N out because he’s seen Philza sit on your shoulders before and Techno in your arms and so he knows he’d be safe with you. When he pops out of it, he’d have you explain what the heck happened to him and would listen intently and nod along as you speak. He would still come hang out with you when he’s in that form tho. 

These are just a couple thoughts. It’s been a while since I’ve written so forgive me if these are rushed and don’t make sense. 

Also, all praise  🌻 anon whom I still love with my entire heart and needs lots of praise always, especially for their brilliant ideas.
