I find myself on rewind every time I pick up my phone. Check the notifs he says. See if someone posted she says. No socials but Tumblr n my tumblr only holds enough room for PoetAll. Over runth is what I'm after. If you can coincide with conversation then I'm writing you out of my chapter. Books. Stories. Love is all I'm after. Romance and harmony. Faith in people following. Hate that word. But it rhymed with supporting. Synonyms to toy either thee. Seems all'thems do is just bother me. Bored of bored niggaz. Probably going to stop trying to date. Probably. Not unless someone worthy of polyculey introduced ye. Self must be gathered with composure silliness seriosity good vibes positive rides road trips on and off the trails that make us both happy. They say for richer or for poorer. I say you better endure your own goals. Driven-oriented. Following your dreams is how it goes. Though I know life can be hard but empathy is understanding and if you lead with understanding then we all will be able to hold each other up when down.

i think i remember a post made about this ages ago but i don't remember enough to find it, but one thing that i really love about star stable's story, and wish the writers leaned into, is that there's no winning for the soul riders.
the dark riders just want garnok to be freed. once he is, that's it. game over. jorvik is gone. maybe a future group can come together, maybe later down the line he can be contained again, but for all intents and purposes; jorvik's immediate destruction is basically guaranteed.
the most the soul riders can do is contain him. and hope that the next round of soul riders will be able to do it again, and again, and again. it feels so much like real life in a way that's both really sad and really uplifting. we can't kill the bad guy, and we never will. and people that want us gone forever can be held off, but that kind of insidiousness won't go away. it can't be killed. it's not like stories where you defeat the big evil wizard and now everyone is happy for ever. all you can do is try your best to hold it off this time, and hope that the people who come after you will do it again, and again, and again.

I can not remember for the life of me who said that writing Jason Todd fics got them searching questionable shit on google, but I'd like to share some of the things that writing J.T fics got me searching.
Tumblr media
So, how do we explain to the FBIs that all this shit is for a poor grammatical fanfic? This was all for ONE fic btw, imagine digital footprint being like "yeah they searched all this in less than an hour, might wanna check up on that"

Here’s the thing I need people to understand:
Even if we believe that the (entirely unproven and far too politically convenient) pre-contract story between Edward IV and Eleanor Talbot was true, it doesn’t actually matter. Even if it was hypothetically true, there was still no reason why Edward V – who was already King at that point and was referred to as such – couldn’t have been able to succeed his father regardless.
David Horspool (Richard's own historian) summarizes it better than I could, so I’m just quoting him here:
"[Richard also made] no allowance for any potential solution to the problem that might have re-legitimized Edward V and his siblings. These included securing a retrospective canonical or papal judgement of the invalidity of the pre-contract; an Act of Parliament legitimizing the children of Edward and Elizabeth Woodville’s marriage, as happened to Henry VIII’s variously tainted offspring; or even ignoring the issue and proceeding to the coronation of Edward V, which would legitimize him by making him the Lord’s anointed, and render allegations of his bastardy as newer versions of the old tittle-tattle about his father."
In short, even if Edward IV truly had a pre-contract with Eleanor Talbot, and even if all of his children with Elizabeth Woodville were supposedly illegitimate, it should by no means prevent Edward V from succeeding his father to the throne. If Richard truly wanted to support his nephew, he had a variety of useful and entirely workeable options to choose from. Instead, he officially declared his nieces and nephews (including a literal 3-year-old) illegitimate, kept Edward V and his even younger brother confined in the Tower of London, and declared himself King.
Why didn't Richard take these actions, all of which he would have been well aware of? As Horspool says simply: "that Richard took none of these courses was because he had no interest in doing so."
The ONLY conclusion we can come to based on Richard's actions is summarized most succinctly by A.J Pollard:
"The truth of the matter is that Richard III did not want Edward V to be legitimate because he did not want him to be king."

Does anyone remember that one cosplay group based in Sweden (I think?) from ye olde faradays of Hetalia fandom that made a series called the Nordics on YouTube that depicted like the history of the Nordics where every character spoke their respective languages even when in conversation with each other
It was the shit and I used to watch it religiously when I was in middle and high school. It was like unusually high production too like they had different environments like snowy forests and old castles that I think were actually local tourist spots and museums they filmed in, also real horses too it was so good
They also cosplayed Black Butler but when I looked for the series again a few years back all the videos were gone and I think they might’ve been deleted :( I was so bummed out those were my favorite cosplay videos ever in any fandom

Star Trek III: The Search for Spock was released on June 1, 1984. Producers were reluctant to let Leonard Nimoy direct, who had never directed a feature film, but he refused to return as Spock if they didn't. The bad guys were originally going to be Romulans, but changed to Klingons. They kept the Romulan bird of prey ship instead of spending the funds to build a Klingon ship. Due to a contract pay dispute, Robin Curtis took over the role of Saavik from Kirstie Alley. In order to save the thought dead Spock and avenge Kirk's murdered son David (Merritt Butrick), James T Kirk (William Shatner), "Bones" McCoy (DeForest Kelley), "Scotty" (James Doohan) Chekov (Walter Koenig), Sulu (George Takei), and Uhura stole a decomissioned USS Enterprise. They were hunted down by Klingons lead by Kruge (Christopher Lloyd). The movie not only saw the rebirth of Spock, but it also show cased the destruction of the USS Enterprise. did you know. did you know there's a sample used in "the p.atrick star show" episode 3 "lost in couch" that is the same one used in the opening titles for the game "g.regory horror show: soul collector" on the PS2, released only in japan and europe.
it's called "mystic insight" by notable composer dick debenedictis, recorded sometime in the mid '90s for the oft-mined "symphonic adventures production elements toolkit", which also includes "manhattan chase A", a string-heavy piece utilised in many soundtracks, including by stewart copeland for the level "gulp's overlook" in "spyro 2: ript-
