This month for creativity I learnt new recipe for pasta with chesse sauce. It is made of spinach, cream, tomatoes, gorgonzola dolce and peccornio romano. It tasted very good; however, delivery still requires an upgrade

GF - Where the Crop Circles Grow ch.5
Summary: When things get out of hand at the Pines’ family farm, Ford asks an old college buddy to assist investigating anomalies and Stan hires a farmhand. Who knew asking for help would actually get you somewhere?
For @lemonfodrizzleart. Part of her Farmer AU and featuring her OC, Jackie Asante.
Ao3 link here.
ch.4 - ch.6
~~~~~~~~~~
Jackie was folding laundry on the porch to enjoy the nice weather. Soft, fluffy, warm towels made the farmhand feel proud of her work (the towels were kinda scratchy and stiff when she first came a month ago). Her eyes averted from her folding up ahead to her boss, who was chopping woods on an old tree stump.
His shirt was almost completely unbuttoned to help his sweaty body cool down. A golden chain just barely grazed his thick chest hair, showcased by the created V. His stance was strong and his arms tightened his muscles as he swung the axe down on a sorry piece of wood. Occasionally he had to bend over to place a new log on the tree stump, giving Jackie a very pleasant view through his jeans. After a few minutes of Stan’s show and of Jackie not getting anything done, her hands frozen on a towel in her lap, Stan stopped his work and turned away from the sun as he wiped his forehead dry of sparkling sweat; Jackie barely looked away in time and if it wasn’t for Stan’s eyesight adjusting to the lack of sunshine, he might have caught his admirer.
Fiddleford came out with a glass of sweet tea in his hand and breathed in the wonderful late-afternoon air. He noticed at once that something was slightly out of the ordinary, and one look at Jackie’s glossy eyes and Stan’s half-exposed body as he picked up the lumber told the Tennessian everything he needed to know. The second Stan entered the house to put the logs where they belonged, Fiddleford gently elbowed Jackie as he stood next to her rocking chair. “Well, kettle my corn, somebody’s in love.”
Jackie rolled her eyes and smiled smugly up at her friend. “Yeah, right. Stan’s just a cool guy. It’s not like I lie awake at night thinking about him.”
~~~~~~~~~~
Jackie laid on her back, staring up at the ceiling, tucked into her bed with one arm draped over her chest, and her eyes wide with energy. She could feel a rock being plunged into her stomach as it dawned on her that Fiddleford might have been right. “Uh, oh.”
~~~~~~~~~~
Stan was whittling a small piece of wood in his hands as he sat on the porch, rocking in his chair. The sounds of laughter made him glance up from his work and he smiled to see Jackie and Tate playing. It was a basic game of tag, but they were both laughing joyfully and Tate was grinning like it was the best day of his life. For a few minutes Jackie purposely went slow, but then she sped up, caught Tate in her arms, and plopped down on the ground to tickle his ribs. Tate squirmed and squealed as Jackie laughed alongside him, hers less force than the boy’s.
Stan smiled and watched them from the corner of his eye as he whistled a tiny tree; Tate seemed to enjoy the toy train he had made for him, so he was secretly working on tracks and trees and houses and people so the kid could build a village for the train to ride around. It was something entertaining for Stan to do in his free time and he knew it would make a good birthday gift or a present for the holidays. As he worked and watched Jackie play with Tate, his thoughts reverted back to his feelings for the farm-woman.
Was it wrong for him to be crazy for his employee? Probably, but who cares? They hardly had a boss-worker relationship; if anything it was a firm friendship that just came so easily it was like they had known each other for years. With Jackie, it was just so easy, but that didn’t mean it was predictable; Jackie was spontaneous, passionate, and different, everything Stan valued in a person. Not only was she a hard worker, but she was really smart, creative, the best cook he had ever met, and really really beautiful. Anyone would get a crush on her, so why should he? For the time, Stan was content that a woman as amazing as her would never have a crush on him, not in a million years, so with any luck his little crush on her will die and no one important will get their feelings hurt.
~~~~~~~~~~
In the middle of May Stan and Ford told Fiddleford and Jackie about a hoedown that took place at the end of May to mark the beginning of summer. It was hosted in a huge barn and everyone pitched in to help with the food and there was music and dancing and everyone had a great time; word on the street was that it even beat the Northwests’ annual fancy shindig. So the weak of the party Jackie was excused from work on the farm so she could spend more time in the kitchen, meaning Ford and Fiddleford had to pitch in and save their investigations on the unicorns for another time.
It wasn’t a fancy party, but people usually dressed up a little bit, almost like going to church. Ford went for his blue t-shirt with green flannel and clean jeans and he polished his black shoes that clicked on wood beautifully. Fiddleford went for a more casual army-green floral shirt, a favorite from back at Backupsmore, and he put Tate in a red short-sleeved button-up. Stan opted for clean jeans and a light-merlot button-up, but Jackie was perfectly happy to wear a plain white dress that went down to her knees and came with noodle straps. She decorated the outfits with black heels to match her curly hair, which she somehow managed to control without losing its breath-taking fullness.
Stan found himself staring for a creepy amount of time, but she was too busy trying to get her food together to notice. The Diablo was packed full with food so Stan and Jackie drove in that car while Ford, Fiddleford, and Tate rode in the newly repaired blue truck. The large barn sat a few yards from a huge lake and at the top of a hill, a smaller barn filled with hay to the side and a white fence establishing the boundaries of the property. Already the barn was busting with music and laughter and vehicles and even two horses stood outside the party. Stan and Ford helped Jackie with the food while Fiddleford held Tate’s hand and had his banjo over his shoulder, and they entered.
The newcomers awed at the hustle and bustle. On a stage a bass, an acoustic guitar, a cello, a harmonica, and some spoons were being played by some townsfolk. Many more were dancing in the wide open space care-free. Kids Tate’s age were holding hands and swinging, Toby Determined was doing a lonely tap-dance, that dweeb Durland was spinning a lady too fast and making her cross-eyed, and Ma and Pa from Dusk 2 Dawn were holding each other as they danced. Most people were doing a big group dance together, but some were over at the long tables filled with good food.
Susan was stirring hot apple cider and spooning mugs full for people, Manly Dave had brought his family recipe of Cages Full of Meat, and there were platters and bowls filled with delicious ham, turkey, cobblers and pies of every berry and fruit that existed, green beans, collared greens, salad, macaroni salad, potato salad, sweet potatoes with marshmallows, fried okra, smoked ribs, smoked pork, boiled peanuts, jugs full of moonshine, and barrels full of taffy and candy. Jackie happily added her Lemon Meringue pie, grilled chicken, fried chicken, boiled potatoes, yeast rolls with cinnamon butter, cranberry sauce, spinach dip and crackers, and a huge pot filled with jambalaya made with Cajun sausage, onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, and rice. All that food could feed three New York Cities, let alone little Gravity Falls, but with all the dancing and activity going on the food was happily accepted and the night was off to a wonderful start.
Jackie happily chatted with Susan at the long tables while the men dispersed. Fiddleford was invited to play with the others on stage, Ford began to play chess with some of the old men in the back of the barn, and Stan happily took Tate out on the dancefloor and let him stand on his boots to lead.
The sun was soon gone but the night was lit up by not only the huge light fixtures in the barn, but the strings of lights on the walls, and rustic exposed lightbulbs at the door, and the little lights on the grass to highlight the walkway from the party to the rides home. Fireflies buzzed around as well; a few kids left the loud party to play among the bugs and let the flickering lights crawl into their outstretched hands.
As the moon got higher and higher into the sky, the part continued to be very enjoyable. While Tate was busy making quick friends with Tyler Cutebiker, Stan dragged his twin out on the dancefloor and made him dance. Fiddleford took a break from playing his banjo and somehow ended up dancing with Susan. Jackie happily danced alone by the tables and enjoyed the blissful music. As much fun as the party was, her energy was running out and she could do with some quiet. She decided to go outside and watch the kids play.
Out in the cool late-spring air Jackie breathed peacefully as she watched the children run around, but soon she wanted to be alone and explore her new surroundings. That smaller barn was a ways away, so she slipped into the shadows and ventured towards it. Jackie quietly slid the door open and smiled to find a single lantern hanging on the wall and the barn filled to the brim with blocks of hay. It smelled clean here and it was quiet and lovely, so Jackie made her way to a wall and sat on two blocks of hay, taking off her heels to rub her sore feet. No blisters, thank goodness, but standing and dancing for so long will make your feet ache.
In the silence and with nothing better to do, Jackie resumed her thought about Stan. Was it wrong for her to fall for her employer? Probably, but who cares? They hardly had a boss-worker relationship; if anything it was a firm friendship that just came so easily it was like they had known each other for years. Stan was just so easy to talk to, so comfortable to be around, but that didn’t mean he was predictable; Stan was spontaneous, passionate, and different, everything Jackie valued in a person. Not only was he a hard worker, but he was clever, considerate, a true-blue family man, and really really beautiful. Anyone would get a crush on Stanley Pines, so why should she? But Jackie could swallow that a man as amazing as him would never have a crush on her, not in a million years, so with any luck her little crush on him will die and no one important will get their feelings hurt.
The door opened slowly, still managing to make Jackie jump a little, but she smiled and relaxed at seeing Stan at the entrance.
He had been having a lot of fun at the party, but he had planned on dragging Jackie out to dance, having noticed that no one had danced with her (she must have danced with at least of one of handsome guys here and Stan just didn’t see it, there’s no way a girl that pretty had resorted to wall-hugging all night) and he planned to fix that, but he soon noticed that Jackie was nowhere to be found. Checking to make sure she didn’t get eaten by a mountain lion, Stan exited the big barn and watched the kids for a minute before guessing she was in the smaller barn away from the crowds and noise. He smiled when he saw he was correct and leaned against the doorway. “Hey, whatcha doin’ over here?”
Jackie shrugged casually. “Just needed some alone time.”
Stan nodded and drastically changed his plans to give her what she needed. He let his arm fall from the doorway and said, “Gotcha, okay, I’ll see you…”
“No,” Jackie said too quickly and felt herself go red with embarrassment. “I-I mean, I can be alone with you.” She quickly explained and then swallowed nervously. That didn’t make any sense, she wasn’t making any sense! But the way this guy made her feel didn’t make sense, either.
Stan saw her nervousness and smiled at it; the best dating advice Ma had ever given him was to never a date someone who wasn’t nervous around you; if they’re nervous that means they like you. He made a mental note to not put up too much of a brave front and then he entered the barn and closed the door behind him. “Whatever you want, sweetheart.”
Jackie smiled, not as nervous now, and watched as Stan plopped himself down on the hay-coated floor, resting an arm next to where Jackie sat. He popped his neck and yawned, comfortable and relaxed, one leg bent up and the other laying flat. He turned his head to look up at Jackie, resting his square jaw on his knuckles, and asked, “So whatcha thinkin’ about?”
Jackie leaned forward so her elbows her on her knees and one hand was just under her chin. “I was thinking how this has got to be one of the best parties I’ve ever been to.”
Stan snorted. “Really? Guess it ain’t so bad. I’ve never missed a single one. Great graduation celebration or a ‘welcome home’ event for college students. One year Ford n’ I snuck out n’ went over to the lake to swim, but Shermie caught us n’ tried to pull us out, but we dragged him in n’ we all got in trouble for it.” He chuckled.
Jackie giggled along with him and commented, “I’ve actually never been to a lake. I’ve visited a beach, but not a lake yet.”
“We’ll fix that.” Stan said. “The beach, though, huh? Always wanted to see one. Where else’ve you been?”
“Everywhere.” Jackie said. “I was a bit of a traveler before stopping here. Never been outside the country.”
“What was your favorite place?”
“New Orleans.” Jackie answered quickly. “They had the most delicious beignets and seafood and the jazz was beautiful, and the ocean was so beautiful. I really liked southern California, too, the beach was amazing and I made a lot of Hispanic friends there.”
“Any reason why you left?” Stan asked; with such good friends and great places, the farmer couldn’t help but wonder why didn’t she stay.
“Too busy and loud.” Jackie said. “I love the occasional crowds, but I wanted some place quieter and easier to find work, so that’s why I came up here.”
“Well, I’m glad you did.” Stan said earnestly, in such a deep, meaningful tone that it made Jackie’s face hot again and she looked away as she gently shook her head.
“You give me too much credit, Stan…”
“No, Jackie, I mean it.” Stan swallowed nervously, making his Adam’s apple bobble, and he went on with his eyes on the beautiful girl above him. “I’m not just butterin’ you up, I think you’re real pretty, n’ I mean it when I say you’re probably the best thing that ever happened to our place. Even without your killer cookin’ n’ extra help, I’m just really happy you’re around. I don’t know how I can make it up to you, but I’ll think of somethin’.” He had carefully worded his compliment so Jackie could take it as a friend making a friend feel good if that was all she wanted, but he had meant it as so much more and wanted it to be so much more, so it was all up to Jackie now.
She noticed the nervous look in his soft brown eyes and smiled. Was there a possibility, a teeny tiny possibility, that he liked her the same way she liked him. She could be dead wrong, she could lose everything she had worked for the last few weeks and everything she had grown to love. Goodbye, Dot. Goodbye, Tate. Goodbye Pines farm filled with some of the best people she had ever met. But she took a gamble, tried to ease her nerves as discreetly as possible, and she said quietly, “You could kiss me.”
Stan’s eyes grew to the size of dinner plates and his brown eyes sparkled adorably. Jackie bit her lip to keep from laughing at the look on his face, her heart relaxing and her nerves settling as she realized how much he wanted to kiss her. His grin was the last thing she saw before he stretched up and she leaned down and they met for a soft kiss.
The amount of sparks that flew only through lips touching was unbelievable. As a strong hand cupped Jackie’s cheek and a smaller hand landed on the back of Stan’s head, the kiss deepened and it only got better. Holy Moses, it was far better than anything Jackie could have imagined in her head, all those night daydreaming about this moment, and more, and it was better and full of more bliss than she thought it would be. She was putty at Stan’s touch, and as another arm wrapped around her waist and the kiss included it’s fair share of tongue, Jackie slid down from her little seat until she was sitting on the ground beside Stan.
Warm chuckles of pure joy leaked from their lips and for a while it was nothing more than hugs and kisses, but it was everything. Stan was blown away that such a beautiful woman wanted to hold him and kiss him, of all people, and he knew better than to question a good thing. His heart was roaring like a lion in his chest, his face was warm despite the goosebumps on his arms, and while he was beyond grateful for just a kiss he wondered if he was lucky enough for more.
They separated for air and Jackie rested her head on the cushion of Stan’s arm, his free hand on her knee. Stan’s cheeks and ears were rosy pink, his five o-clock shadow unable to hide how the girl in his arms made him feel. Jackie smiled at him, unable to believe she was so lucky, and put a hand over his heart to enjoy his heartbeat, but then she slowly unbuttoned his shirt a little to let his chest hair be showcased by a proud V. At the same time, Stan’s hand slowly went down her bent leg, closer and closer to her hip, pushing her white dress up. With a gleam in their eyes and one sure smirk, they both knew what they wanted.

There were still some stragglers at the party, mostly drunk men singing their hearts out, but Ford and Fiddleford were ready to go. Tate was asleep so Fiddleford gently tucked him in his car seat as Ford looked around for Jackie and Stan. It wasn’t a big deal to leave without them, they had brought two cars, but still. Curiosity had grasped his mind and he generally wondered where they were. Fiddleford cleared his throat and suggested, “Maybe we should go ahead home, Fordsie.”
“I suppose so,” Ford said casually and nodded in agreement. “But if they get arrested for trespassing, I’m not… SWEET LORD!” Ford put a six-fingered hand over his mouth to stop his screaming, but his other hand was pointing at the couple who had hoped they could emerge from the shadows undetected, but that clearly wasn’t going to work out.
They were covered in hay. Both Jackie’s long black hair and Stan’s brown mullet were frizzled and out of control, like someone had shaken their hair wildly. Or grabbed it tightly. Jackie’s white dress was missing, but she held Stan’s button up around herself tightly to preserve what little dignity she had left. Stan, shirtless, had a dopey grin on his face with hazy eyes, like he was sleepwalking. While Stan was oblivious to his twin’s scream, Jackie’s face was scarlet with embarrassment and she rubbed the back of her neck as she gritted her teeth.
Poor Ford was a mumbling mess. “B-B-B-But… you… you two… you… and you…”
Fiddleford patted his shoulder and instructed gently, “Stanford, get in the truck.”
“B-B-B-B-But…”
“I know, I know, just get in. Leave ‘em be.” Fiddleford guided his best friend into the car and even closed the door for him. While Ford buried his head in his hands to try to collect himself, Fiddleford gave the happy couple a thumbs up before entering his vehicle and heading home.
Jackie wanted to disappear and never reappear.
Stan, however, was far too busy repeating a single thought in his head to even register what was going on in front of him. “I’m gonna marry her.”

Pulling River with him into the kitchen, they both find out the dinner plans pretty quickly. Vy making a list for them for both what he needs to make the lasagna and for some cheesy bread on the side after Hayden mentioned it giving the list to Chris already looking forward to making them all dinner, realizing at the same time he has a family, a green glow engulfing him as he sits down next to Hayden.
“I’ll be right back then.”
Chris takes his husband's hands and vanishes, leaving the kids there to wait for their return. Rylan looking at Vy, noticing he still has his half-dragon form still.
“So lasagna?” “Yep!” “Lasagna? I knew it. Cant be Christmas without pasta!” “Lasagna isn't pasta? It's lasagna not spaghetti.”
River just laughs and shakes head, Rylan looking between them having pretty much no idea who of the two is actually right.
“So is this why they say in some movies that they have Christmas fettucini? I have never been sure that is an actual thing or something they just added, but this makes it feel like it is a thing?” “No idea. my mom just knows how to cook pasta cause it's quick and easy... And wait. You're going to make us lasagna you have never cooked before?” “But I have read how!” “Yeah. We going to die of food poisoning. I want it to be known I loved Rylan!” “Oh shush you, you're not getting out off things that easily Mr frog!” “Well I had Omelette this morning that he made, and I am pretty sure his lasagna will be just as tasty! And our kitchen will still stand, unlike if my parents were attempting this.”
He laughs, and playfully punches Rivers shoulder. Vy’s excited smile turns into a bit of a frown from River's comment, once again sticking his tongue out at him.
“I am pretty sure that Vy can make it, and that it will taste great. Just don't, like my brother said, let either of my parents do anything with the oven.” “I can do lasagna! You'll see! You'll eat it and love it!”
River laughing at Rylan little punch and lays his head dramatically over Rylan, hand on his forehead.
“Princess, your frog dies tonight. I never thought I'd go from Christmas pasta!”
As Rylan is about to enter, his parents reappear in the kitchen, holding out bags of gods, and clearly some snacks that were not originally on the list.
“Alright Vy, we have all of it, and some snacks for later. Now you just put us all to work, and tell us what to do.”
Vy starts explaining what needs to be done, everyone doing something, while River and Hayle start setting the dinner table for dinner. Hayden having his first experience with cutting unions, while Chris help’s with finding pans, pots and stuff needed before he helps to make the dough for the bread. Rylan on his end rinsing and cutting spinach.
“This feels very family-like doesn’t it?” “It does, we need to do this more often if Vy is up for making us a general shopping list at some point.” “Okay Mister Chris, you can put the bread in the oven!” “Will do.”
While Chris puts the bread int he oven Vy finds the box of lasagna plates, the exact brand as in the recipe and chirps, adding the spinach to the parmesan sauce he has been making, mixing them together.
“Now.. to put it all together!” “I’ll go see if the table fixers need some help then.”
Rylan smiles, leaving the kitchen walking to the dining room.
“Not that I think you two need my help, but is there anything I can do?” “Were almost done really.” “In there everything is or is about to be in the oven.”
He wanders off to the sofa nearby, sitting down leaning his head on his hands, as he is not really needed to help out. River looking at him, realizing something still isn’t quite right.
“Hey Princess, want to get the beverages?” “Sure.”
River looks over his shoulder at Rylan walking back to the kitchen, sighing and debating spending the night here just so he can stay with Rylan in case something does happen. Vy puts the temperature right smiling at Hayden who is watching him cook, then he starts spreading bechamel sauce on the lasagna form and putting the pre-cooked plates and meat and parmesan-spinach mixture, making four layers, two white, two red, and then abundantly sprinkling it with more cheese.
“Done!”
He puts the lasagna into the oven.
“Now we wait!” “I ‘ll call this a new family thing, making dinner together, without the house burning down.”
Chris chuckles, noticing Rylan coming back inside as Vy sits in front of Hayden, Hayden in return taking his hands.
“I love cheese bread! I made a lot of cheese bread. After lunch at school, sometimes, I'd...”
He stops as he realizes he was about to confess he stole the leftover food some of the other teens left back at RoM. Scratches head, eyes falling on Chris, then on Hayden.
“I like food!” “ I'm glad you do, or we'd never have this little family moment of making food together.” “Yes!
He squeezes Hayden's hand and looks at Chris then back at Hayden, pondering telling them he is alone and has no parents here, around here. that they're not really abroad, but also scared that if he does, he'd be admitting there's no one else looking after him but Hayden, though he knows he is safe with Hayden, and this safety he thinks he can never thank enough for.
“Anyone wants anything special to drink, and yes brother, I know you drink cola.” “Nah, not really.” “Good, then I’ll just grab cola for all.. and wow, it is starting to smell tasty in here Vy!”
Rylan smiles, grabbing the drinks heading back to the dining room with his arms full of Cola smirking at his brother's stomach's growl as the kitchen slowly fills with the smell of food,
“I believe I like how your food smells Vy.”
He sticks his tongue out at his brother, having noticed the smirk he was given from his stomach's clear interest in the food. Vy jumping out of the chair and goes open the oven. Smiles as the cheese bread is ready and pulls it out, quickly putting on the counter. Wincing. Lucky he still has his scales out or he'd have been burned.
“Okay. Chess bread ready!”
He cuts the bred quickly holding a plate with it up to Chris.
“Mister Chris, can you take it to the table? The lasagna will take five more minutes.” “Will do.”
He smiles, carrying the bread to the living room, where the table is now set and ready for dinner. Hayden noticing the wince and walks over to one of the many drawers they have, taking out what his dad once bought after having watched a cooking show, turning to Vy with two oven mitts.
“Here, we got these once, and I think they are used to take stuff out of the oven without getting burned, for the lasagna I mean.”
River watches Rylan come with Cola, quickly followed by Chris coming with the bread.
“This smells good. Might it be that the frog has hope?” “I do believe there is hope for the frog yet. Of course, poison might smell nice... “Learn from his words Mr frog prince, this is how he kills healers in D&D!” “Oi! Stop giving away my secrets!  “That's how you killed my healer! He poisoned my healer and Hayden had to embark on a quest to bring him back!” “Oh god yes, I remember that quest, that was horrible. I am telling you River, your princess is evil!” “It's my job to make things hard on you guys! Hmh, well you might need it, or you know, at least learn a purifying spell.”
He winks at River chuckling slightly and shaking his head as his brother is not wrong.
“But yes, I do believe there is hope that this will simply be a good meal and no death sentence.” “Oh!”
Vy goes to the oven and checks the lasagna, the kitchen filling with the scent of cheesy lasagna goodness. He puts on the mitts and takes out the lasagna
“Ready!”
While the cheese is still bubbling, he takes the lasagna to the table to serve.
“Dinner's ready!”

Homemade tomato basil, chicken and spinach thin crust pizza. The dough is a simple white flour house recipe as well as the red sauce that incorporates both sweet and spicy flavors from my home dried serrano and habanero peppers. Topped with red onions, garlic and shallots marinated in balsamic vinaigrette and a drizzle of garlic infused olive oil...and who can forget freshly grated muenster cheese! Ingredients for these two pizzas cost $20 from my local Co-op and fed four, with enough ingredients to make two more pizzas! #foodmattets #nutrition #cook #pizza #eatclean #yum #delicious #crunchy #flatbread @armyfreshfitness @militaryfreshfitness #me #instalike #igdaily #instafit #gains #bodybuilding #freshfood #exercise #coop #love #motivation #chesse #chicken #armyfresh #militaryfreshfitness #fitness #fit #fitbody #bodyweight #yogi #calisthenics #happy #stayhumble (at Saint Paul, Minnesota)

drowning in dreams
Wincest Writing Challenge, prompt: shifter!Dean Rating: M | Warnings: mild violence, suicidal thoughts | Length: 3k Partner: @wideawakeandwriting Read on AO3
***
Sam stumbles into Rufus’s cabin, more drunk than he should be. The fucking demon was right, he’s alone. It’s only been three days, but each feel like a whiskey-soaked eternity. Tomorrow he’ll search for real, maybe get a witch or a better psychic to help him. If Crowley didn’t lie, and wasn’t that the biggest if of the century, if he didn’t lie then Dean was in purgatory. And for once, Sam’s been procrastinating on research. He’s already urgently looked for ways to get in and out of purgatory when they had a leviathan problem, can’t free them all to maybe, probably not, get Dean back.
He should be hunting. Or going after the mystical normal life. Something.
The next day is rum, and at this rate the cabin is gonna be out of any alcohol inside of a week. He doesn’t slow down, bitterly thinks of famine saying he was the only one who could always consume more, the exception. Five drinks deep and his head starts to spin, six and he doesn’t think anymore, mindlessly watching whatever’s on tv. He likes the cartoons, always easy to follow and bitterly nostalgic, chase it down with more alcohol.
Rufus sure had a lot of rum for someone who never seemed to drink it, three days worth. Then there’s the vodka, it goes with a half-hearted attempt to clean up. There’s a bottle of port, old and fruity and rich, begging to be sipped slowly over a chess match or a good book. He drinks it outside, fresh air reminding him he should really shower and do his laundry. (He takes a bath instead, more literally stewing in his own filth, finishing off the bottle.)
Laundry goes with some overly sweet peach liquor and Sam is too close to sober, has emptied out every form of hunter’s helper to be had. He doesn’t want to go into town, something about seeing other people seems far worse than sobriety- today anyways.
The inevitable sobriety comes with an obsessive state like before without Dean. Without hunting a pseudo-trickster, he has the cabin cleaner than it has ever been. He scrubs his own skin off every morning, doesn’t leave the shower until he’s flushed pink. He works out after, the repetitive steady 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, of sit-ups and push-ups and chin-ups and jumping jacks. And then he showers again, a cold and quick rinse.
He finds nothing new on purgatory, and worse he’s running low on food. Tomorrow he’ll have to go to town, see what’s become of the world. His stomach twists unpleasantly, and a voice that sounds like his brother wonders when he became such a fucking pansy.
.
He’s halfway through his push-ups when he hears a car. His stomach knots up as he stands, grabbing the nearest gun. He looks out the window and nearly drops the pistol, sees Dean unloading a forgettable car.
“Hey lazybones, you gonna help?” Dean yells and Sam laughs breathless, rushes outside.
“Dean! How are you-”
“One minute,” Dean interrupts him, slicing his arm open and drinking holy water. Sam does the same, wincing at the salted water’s taste, handing the stuff back and enveloping his brother in a tight hug.
“How did you get out of purgatory? There was nothing in the lore-” Sam says, still holding him.
Dean grins, “C’mon hell couldn’t hold me, you though some second-rate monster land could? I’m starving, let’s get inside and we’ll talk.”
“Yeah,” Sam agrees, squeezing his brother once more before grabbing a bag. “You went grocery shopping?” Sam lets out a soft laugh, “Holy shit this is from a real grocery store.”
“Shut up if you want my cooking,” Dean says, hip checking the door open. “This last month I’ve existed without food, I could literally eat an entire horse.”
Guilt comes back quick and before he can ask, Dean whistles, putting the groceries on the counter. “Well aren’t you the little homemaker Sammy.”
“Jerk,” Sam says, can’t help a smile. Dean was back, it still feels like a dream.
“Bitch,” Dean tosses back carelessly, opening the fridge. “Or not, shit where’s the food kiddo?”
Sam puts away the groceries, not meeting Dean’s eyes. “I was gonna get some today.”
Dean snorts, “Lucky timing then.”
There’s more fresh food in the cabin than there probably ever has been, and he can’t deny being excited about not eating another canned or dried meal. Dean has two steaks cooking when he finally talks about it.
“Purgatory was designed to hold monsters, not people. There was an escape hatch- I couldn’t-” Dean swallows. “It took a while to get there, lot of fighting. Cas didn’t make it out.”
Sam swallows, “Maybe we could-”
“No,” Dean interrupts firmly. “The leviathans got to him, they all wanted him.”
Sam sighs, pushes back the tears. If Dean isn’t going all emo, he won’t. And it wasn’t like Sam hadn’t tried to-. Dean was alive, that’s all that mattered.
Dean slaps a steak on his plate and grabs two beers from the fridge. “First supper.”
Sam’s lips twitch, cutting into the meat. “Next time I’ll make some corn or mashed potatoes.” It hits him then that Dean might want to get back on the road, probably sees spending extra time in the cabin as a waste.
Dean rolls his eyes though, “You gonna make sure I eat my leafy greens?”
“Damn straight,” Sam says, happiness bubbling up. “Enough spinach and maybe you won’t get scurvy.”
“All the coolest pirates had scurvy,” Dean says, and they’re both too busy eating to talk more. Sam knows Dean’s a decent cook, and maybe it’s partly from how long it’s been since he ate fresh food, but the steak is beyond perfect.
He slowly eats the last bite, savoring it. “That was amazing.”
Dean grins, leaning back and rubbing his belly, “I know.”
Want surges through him, and Sam pushes it down, gets up and grabs their plates. The dishes won’t take long, but he needs a little distraction. It’s only been one day and the traitorous thoughts are coming back.
“Good wife,” Dean jokes as he scrubs the pan clean.
It rolls off him easy, he’s used to this type of teasing. “Says the one that just cooked for us,” Sam shoots back.
“Yeah, yeah,” Dean says and he hears him gulp down the rest of his beer. The image comes to mind too easily, one he’s seen countless times of Dean’s plush lips wrapped around a bottle. Sam scrubs harder, the final bit of grit coming off, and he washes it clean. They didn’t make a mess in the kitchen, a few water rings from the beer, but Dean will know something’s up if he wipes those off. (He has Dean now, he shouldn’t even want to.)
“I’ve been thinking,” Dean says.
“About what?” Sam asks, refrains from saying what’s the case.
Dean wets his lips, “I wanna take a break.”
Sam can’t breathe, eyes wide and afraid he might wake up.
“A real one, not like two days or a concert. Like a year. We’ll still be in touch if anyone needs help, but hands off. No more dying and saving the world and self-sacrifice.” Dean rubs his face, “I’m so tired man, I can’t keep running on empty.”
This can’t be real, a djinn must have snuck up on him. There’s no way-
“Sammy? What do you think?”
“Yes,” Sam breathes, doesn’t care that this can’t be real. There’s no way Dean would ever stop, certainly wouldn’t choose it for himself. But if Dean is still in purgatory, if this is all one last dream before death- he sure as hell isn’t going to squander it.
He feels looser, easier in the freedom that it’s like a dream. Of course a djinn would give him his brother and take away the outside world, he wouldn’t have to share him with anyone, knows he’ll be safe.
“Awesome,” Dean says with a grin.
“I love you,” Sam says.
And Dean doesn’t brush it off, doesn’t tell him that emotional declarations are for near-death experiences only. Doesn’t say that this isn’t one of those movies, or that Sam must be having his time of the month.
“C’mere,” he beckons instead, and Sam goes to his arms. Dean’s still sitting in the high kitchen stool, puts them eye level. Dean’s grip tightens, brings their bodies flush together. “You’re mine Sammy, never letting you go again.”
Sam slumps into his shoulder, soaks up all the attention. His mind keeps flicking between what fake Dean- projected dream Dean really- is doing and what his brother would really do. It’s going to give him a headache, but then Dean is cupping his face, brings him back up.
“You’ll always be mine,” Dean murmurs, and brings their lips together.
Dean wouldn’t- he shouldn’t be twisting his memory like this, oh god- Dean can’t-
Dean’s tongue parts his lips, and Sam gives in. He already succumbed to this dream verse, it’s silly to deny himself now. Dean tastes like steak and beer, like he must, and it isn’t long until they’re on the small cabin bed.
.
Sam falls into a new routine, a much more pleasurable one. He’s almost always up first, works out and takes a warm shower before crawling back into bed with Dean. Sometimes he wakes him, mouth sucking down his cock, and sometimes he just lays between his legs as time passes, Dean’s cock soft and warm and doesn’t move his lips to wake him. Sometimes he wakes Dean with softer kisses, peppered over each and every freckle on his cheeks. Sometimes Dean slips into his shower, soaps him up good before leaning him against the wall and fucking him until the water goes cold. And sometimes, Sam simply lays with him, staring at Dean’s forever young face. He could never tire of him, could consume him forever. (It resonates with something Sam doesn’t want to think about, doesn’t have to- this is his dream.)
Dean does all the cooking and grocery shopping, never asks why Sam doesn’t want to leave the cabin. His cooking is unnaturally perfect and Sam never questions that his ‘new’ recipes always turn out fantastic. He just does the dishes with a soft smile, they made a home.
They get a few calls from hunters, Dean has all of their phones forwarded to his, disposes of the old ones. There’s no point in having like fifty burner phones when one will do, Dean had said. And Sam didn’t bother listing the reasons why it mattered, just did the research for imaginary cases. Dean got bored then, would sometimes slip under the desk with a mischievous grin.
It’s all going well until it isn’t, and reality slams back into him rudely.
Dean’s cleaning the guns they never use anymore, when his hand slips and he touches a knife, skin sizzling.
Sam jumps up at the noise, reaching for the nearest silver knife, throws it at him.
“What the fuck is going on here?” Sam demands when it doesn’t kill him.
The shifter laughs, plucks the knife out of his chest and approaches slowly. “You’ve known I’m Dean 2.0 from the beginning Sammy. No need to play coy now.”
Sam’s eyes flit between the weapons bag and the knife in his hand. “You- you switched all the silver knives.”
He chuckles, “Give the man a cigar! Well, I did miss one. My bad kiddo.”
Sam gulps, backing up, “You’re real.”
The shifter grins wide, all teeth, “You’re more fucked in the head than I thought baby bro.”
“Don’t call me that,” Sam spits out, trying to circle to the weapons bag.
“Yeah, I don’t think so,” he says, flashing forward, a blow to the head knocking Sam unconscious.
.
Sam wakes up tied to their bed, spread eagle with the knots too tight to even try to undo one-handed. His wrists and ankles already ache a bit, and he’s sure it’s only going to get worse. A fucking shifter, a goddamn shifter had been living with him. He’d- fuck.
“Hey baby,” he says, and Sam opens his eyes, glares as not-Dean joins him on the bed, kneels between his thighs. “You could have just played along, no need for all this,” he says gesturing, “I know it can’t be easy after the cage.”
Sam spits in his face, “Shut up, you don’t know anything.”
He sighs, wipes away the spit and backhands him hard, making his ears ring. “We’ve been here for months Sam. I know everything about you and your brother, I am your brother. A better Dean and you wanted me. The version that loves you back, the me that’s just as twisted as you.
“I wore your brother’s face for too long, it became my own by mistake. But then I found you.” The shifter strokes his face softly, Sam’s stomach twisting with delight and disgust. “And I knew it, this was my true skin. You’ll always be mine Sammy, my little-”
A silver blade pierces the shifter’s chest, and he’s roughly shoved off him. There’s another Dean standing behind him, Sam wonders how they both missed this one coming in, how long it’s been there.
“I’m the only one that gets to call him that,” he says, wiping the knife on his jeans before cutting Sam loose. “You alright Sam?”
Sam rubs his wrists, eyeing the new Dean warily. “What are you?”
“Fair,” Dean says nodding to a copy of his corpse. “I just killed with silver so, you got some holy water and salt?”
“Yeah,” Sam says, getting some from the bedside cabinet.
Dean passes both tests, “It’s me Sam. What have you been doing? Were you hunting a shifter?”
Sam does the same, and Dean’s words convinced him even more than the tests. This wasn’t a dream or illusion, it’s really Dean. His stomach twists, bile burning that he swallows back down.
“Food,” Sam says, and they move into the kitchen. He starts cooking some pasta, simple enough that even he can’t fuck it up. He only goes in the fridge once for beer, winces at the lamb chops that were supposed to be tonight’s dinner. Dean- not-Dean- had been so excited about them.
“I haven’t been hunting,” Sam says, stirring the pasta.
“What? What the hell have you been doing then?”
Sam bites his lip, and Dean gets up, starts really looking around the cabin. “Have you been playing house with fake me? Really Sam?”
Sam swallows, “I-”
“You couldn’t tell it wasn’t me?” Dean yells, hand slapping down on the counter. “How many people have died in the past year Sam? How could you be so selfish-”
“I didn’t think it was real!” Sam exclaims. “I thought it was a djinn okay?”
“You thought-” Dean deflates, rubs a hand down his face, “And you just gave up? You were fine dying on me.”
Sam exhales, but Dean keeps going. “No, that’s just perfect. It’s not like I was hunting monsters in purgatory all year, fighting to stay alive and come back while you were just doing- whatever this is.”
“Well?” Dean demands. “You wanna explain that to me?”
Sam blinks away the wetness, “I couldn’t find a way to get you out of purgatory. There was nothing, it was hopeless. I was hopeless. And then not-you appeared, and everything was too easy. We were happy and researching for other hunters and it didn’t feel real.”
Sam remembers the pasta then, drains the overcooked and soft noodles. They’re pathetic, he’s pathetic. He’s empathizing with a fucking bowl of pasta.
“What changed?” Dean asks. “I didn’t exactly walk in on domestic cabin bliss.”
“Yeah,” Sam says, plating the food. “The shifter had swapped out all the silver knives, but he missed one. That’s when I realized it wasn’t a dream.”
Dean eats half a noddle before standing, “Obviously you weren’t the one cooking.”
“Uh no,” Sam mumbles.
“Whatever, grab your stuff. This place is giving me the creeps. We’ll stop by a diner on the road.”
And Sam hates leaving the cabin messy- worse that it’ll be left this way for who knows how long, mold growing on the floppy noodles. But Dean is here, for real, and Sam isn’t going to fuck that up. He packs quickly as if Dean won’t remember Rufus’s cabin only has one bed and a couch that’s clearly without bedding. Dean doesn’t say anything about it though.
“So did you talk to any of the hunters or…?” Dean asks.
“No, De- the shifter did.”
“Have you checked the phones lately?”
Sam swallows, fishing a cell out of the shifter’s pocket. “No, they were all supposed to be forwarded to this one.”
Dean rolls his eyes, “Yeah I’m sure that happened. Alright let’s barbecue up fake me and then get some real barbecue. There’s a case only sixty miles from here, probably vamps. You can research the area while I play phone tag.”
Sam follows him, out into the backyard to burn the body and then to the impala’s passenger seat. He hates that there’s any longing in his chest as they leave. He has the real Dean- no part of him should want to go back to not-dreamland. The shapeshifter’s words echo in his head, you wanted me, and Sam’s sick, shouldn’t be allowed near real Dean.
“Hey,” Dean says as they pull into a local diner. “You alright?”
“Yeah,” Sam lies. “What about you?”
Dean grins, “We’re back, I’m awesome.”
Sam smiles, can fake it until things feel almost normal again. It doesn’t matter that he knows what Dean tastes like everywhere or what he sounds like when- it’s not true anyways. He only has imitation knowledge, really knowledge of the shifter. And maybe if he thinks that enough times, engraves it into the insides of his skull, he’ll even believe it.
(At least in the cage Lucifer only used Dean to torture, that was easier to get over.)
“Hey, you coming?” Dean asks, outside the car.
“Yeah, shit,” Sam says, undoing his seat belt and getting out. “Sorry.”
Dean shrugs, “S’okay. This place is supposed to have the best pie in state.”
Sam grabs his laptop from the backseat with a soft laugh. “How convenient.”
“You bet. I’m thinking five course meal, all pie,” Dean says with pure glee.
Sam snorts, “Course six is gonna be upchucking.”
Dean opens the door, bell tinkling, “Ye of little faith Sammy. Just you wait.”
And Sam follows him in, the walk back into civilization easier than he thought it would be.

If you like reading suspenseful books, with unexpected twists, The Woman in the Window is for you.  It was also this month’s Book Club selection, and all of us enjoyed it.  It’s the story of an agoraphobic psychiatrist who fills her days with old movies, online chats, and spying on her neighbors through the lens of her camera.  Her peeping tom tendencies land her in the middle of a mystery so strange, she is forced to question which experience are real, and which are hallucinations.
The Woman in the Window: A Novel
Tumblr media
A modern day story of someone suffering from agoraphobia is interesting – with the Internet and delivery services, it’s actually fairly easy to be self sufficient and never leave the house.  In the book, the main character, Dr. Anna Fox, is able to have all of her groceries, prescriptions, and even her favorite beverage (merlot) delivered to her upscale brownstone in Harlem.  Her shrink and physical therapist provide home visits, and her social life if filled with online support groups, chess matches, and French lessons.
Anna is also an alcoholic, drinking red wine all day long and mixing it with her prescription drugs.  This, combined with her fascination of old classic movies plays out in a weird, groggy fashion that had me, as a reader, questioning at times what was Anna’s reality, and what was part of her imagination.  This theme plays out throughout the entire book, and ends up twisting and turning to a surprise ending.  It does get very intense towards the end, which was a good thing because I was growing wearing of reading 1,000 different ways to describe the feeling of merlot going down her throat.  I have to admit, even though I enjoyed the book, the whole “let’s describe the way the merlot feels in Anna’s mouth as much as possible” was waaaaay overdone.
The surprising thing about this book (besides the plot twist – which I don’t want to give away) was that it was written by a man, but told from the point of view of a woman.  I would never have guessed that a man wrote this book because the voice was so authentically feminine.  A.J. Finn did a fantastic job in this aspect.  It was an easy read, suspenseful and overall I enjoyed it, as did the other ladies in my book club.  We had a smaller group this week – just four of us – but that in no way hindered the lively discussion we had, not only about the book, but about dozens of other topics.
Mandarin Orange Chicken Spinach Rice Salad
Besides the great conversation, we had quite the spread, as we usually do.  Cindie brought boeuf bourguignon that she prepared in her Le Creuset dutch oven.  It was so good – the meat fork tender.  I imagine it would probably go great with a nice crusty bread or some chewy gnocchi.  Jacqueline made a gooey reuben dip that was to die for – I even brought some left overs home to snack on.  Dana, our hostess with the mostest put out a beautiful tray of freshly sliced veggies, spinach dip, homemade guac, and a buffalo pheasant dip – just like buffalo chicken dip, which she jokingly referred to as a “farm to table” dip since her husband provided the pheasant from a hunting trip.  And of course, in honor of the main character, we drank merlot!
I brought a Mandarin Orange and Chicken Spinach and Rice Salad with a Ginger Dressing that I made with coconut aminos in order for it to be gluten free for our GF bookclub friend.  I usually opt for tamari as a soy sauce replacement, but saw coconut aminos at Trader Joe’s and thought I’d give it a try.  It’s a perfectly good sub for soy sauce (except my damn auto correct keeps changing it to “amigos”).
I also whipped up a variation on an old school dessert my mom used to make.  In its original form, it was angel food cake, and whipped cream with cocoa powder mixed in.  Since I can’t have real whipped cream, I opted for Cool Whip and also mixed in some marshmallow cream to make it a little creamier.  It was a hit – and its so easy to make last minute with a store-bought angel food cake.
I’ve included both recipes below – I hope you enjoy them!
Tumblr media
Chicken & Mandarin Orange Rice Salad
For the Salad: 3 cups cooked and cooled white rice (Jasmin or Basmati works best) 1 large boneless skinless chicken breast, very thinly sliced in small 1” pieces 1 tablespoon olive oil ½ teaspoon sesame oil ½ teaspoon salt ground black pepper ¼ teaspoon garlic powder ¼ teaspoon ginger powder 1 cup drained mandarin oranges 1 tablespoon fresh chives 2 cups fresh baby spinach, torn or chopped ½ cup chow mein noodles ½ cup sliced almonds
For the Ginger Dressing: 1 tablespoon rice vinegar 1 tablespoon honey 3 tablespoons coconut aminos (or tamari, or soy sauce) 1 teaspoon sesame oil 2 tablespoons light olive oil ¼ teaspoon garlic powder 1 tablespoons freshly grated ginger (*see my note below about ginger) salt and pepper
Cook your rice and set it aside to cool.  If you have leftover rice in the refrigerator, this is a great way to use it up!
Heat the olive oil and sesame oil over medium high heat.  Add the chicken slices, stir to coat in the oil, then season with the salt, pepper, garlic powder and ginger powder.  Cook, moving the chicken around the pan, until no longer pink and slightly golden for 3-4 minutes.  Remove from heat and allow to cool.
While the chicken cools, prepare the ginger dressing.  Whisk the vinegar, honey, coconut aminos and oils in a small bowl.  Add the garlic powder and fresh ginger, then whisk again until mixed.  Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Once the chicken has cooled, place it with the cooled rice in a large mixing bowl.  Drizzle the ginger dressing over the chicken and rice, and gently toss, coating the mixture with the dressing.  Add the drained oranges, spinach, and chives, and toss gently.  Just before serving, add the chow mein noodles and almond slices, and toss.  *Note:  if making ahead of time, do not add the spinach, noodles, or almonds.  Add all other ingredients and keep in the refrigerator.  Just before serving, add the spinach, noodles, and almonds.  This will prevent them from becoming soggy.
*Note about ginger:  You must use fresh ginger for this dressing; powdered simply won’t do, however it’s perfectly fine to season the chicken.  Ginger is cheap and keeps in the freezer for quite a while (I honestly don’t know how long because I use so much of it).  You don’t need to peel it:  simply pull the ginger from the freezer and grate it directly into whatever you are making.  I use a microplane for grating, as it produces nice, fine shreds.
Tumblr media
 Cocoa Whip Angel Food Cake
1 angel food cake (store bought is perfectly fine!) 1 tub of Cool Whip Whipped Topping 1 small jar (7 ounces) marshmallow cream 1/2 cup cocoa powder (sifted, if clumpy)
Using an electric mixer, beat the cocoa powder into the Cool Whip until thoroughly mixed (don’t leave any clumps of cocoa powder!). Add the marshmallow cream and beat until thoroughly mixed.  Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to an hour.
Carefully slice the top inch off the angel food cake and set aside.  Using a fork, hollow out a tunnel around the cake, careful to not go all the way through the bottom of the cake.  Carefully spoon some of the chocolate whipped cream into the tunnel, then gently replace the top on the cake.  Use the remaining chocolate whipped cream to frost the outside of the cake.  Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.  Goes great with fresh strawberries!  To slice, be sure to use a sharp serrated knife so you don’t squish the cake!
Book Club Chapter 4: The Woman in the Window with Mandarin Orange Chicken Rice Salad If you like reading suspenseful books, with unexpected twists, The Woman in the Window is for you.

Who can say no to a freshly baked Pizza!!?? I and my kids love pizza, we even like to eat out once in a while but my hubby who is not a pizza fan loves having the pizza that I make at home.My kids don’t want to have veggies on their Pizza, but I like the crunch veggies add to Pizza else it is just all cheese only. The choice of flour to be used and adjusting the amount of cheese as per individual’s choice is the best part of making pizza at home. I have been making pizza at home for so many years using various toppings. Pizza with Indian spiced toppings also tastes great. There is something about Indian Cusine that it gels well with any kind of cuisine. Check out the spicy Paneer(Indian Cottage Cheese) Pizza.
This  Pizza recipe from Jamie Oliver works best for me. It uses semolina with all-purpose flour or whole wheat flour. I also suggest, make your pizza with Bread Flour, it adds more crunch to your pizza. If you are looking for the texture of Pizza just like the ones you get from best pizza outlets, use all-purpose flour. If you are making Pizza keeping the health quotient in mind then whole wheat pizza is good enough. When making Pizza using whole wheat flour increase the amount of water when kneading the dough as whole wheat absorbs more water. Most of the time I do a combination of whole wheat flour and bread flour along with semolina. Semolina adds flavor, color, and crispness to the base. Dust the pizza bottom with cornmeal or semolina to get more crunch. Use any cheese and toppings of your choice. I have used a combination of Mozerella and Cheddar with some Parmesan. I also recommend after the first rise, refrigerating the pizza dough overnight or 3-4 hrs before baking as it helps to develop crust’s flavor. For busy moms, you can also pre-bake the base store in the freezer for later use. Stays good for a month. Whenever you need a fresh homemade pizza or a quick dinner, just take out the base, add the toppings and bake for another 5-7 minutes.
Let’s get the ingredients and make this yummy pizza.
Ingredients:
Flour(Whole Wheat/ Bread/All Purpose flour)–400gms
Semolina–100gms
Instant Yeast–5-7 gms
Sugar–1.5 Tsp
Salt–1 Tsp
Water–325 ml
Olive Oil– 2 Tbsp
Method:
Refer to the pics at the end of the method. Click or move the cursor on the pic to see the caption.
Sieve together flour, semolina sugar, and salt. I used 250gms of Bread Flour and 150gms of Whole -Wheat flour.
Take a large bowl add flour mix. Make well in the center, add yeast, oil and water, mix into the flour.
I have used instant yeast, that needs no proofing. You can directly add it to the flour. If you are using active dry yeast, you need to proof it. Pls, see notes for Proofing Active Dry Yeast.
Start getting the flour to the center into the liquid and when it starts getting together, start kneading it.
The dough will be very sticky at this time. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead to a smooth and springy dough.
Oil a bowl and keep the dough for prooving covered with a damp flour or with a cling film until the dough doubles up in size.
Remove the dough from the bowl onto a floured surface and knead it a bit to push the air out.
Divide the dough into portions for rolling out the pizza, this will give you around 6-7 medium or 8 small sized pizza. You can also wrap dough in a cling film and keep in refrigerator until ready to use.
Take one dough portion, on a lightly floured surface, roll out to around  ½  cm thick base or you can keep as much thick and thin as you like. Give it a rest time of 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 400°F or 180°C.
For assembling, prick the base with a fork, this will help the air to escape out while baking so that no air pockets are formed. Start with pizza sauce, sprinkle some cheese mix, add preferred toppings and top it with more cheese. I added onions, green capsicum, cherry tomatoes and few fresh spinach leaves. I love mushroom on my pizza but this time I didn’t add. I used my homemade Marina sauce usually while baking Pizza. This is the recipe that I use for Homemade Pizza Sauce. This time I already had some pre-made sauce, will be uploading the pics with the recipe when I will make another batch. This sauce I use for making Pasta or grilled cheese sandwiches and sometimes I use it for my Paneer Curries also, when in hurry. It stays good for around 10 days in the refrigerator and for a month in the freezer. It takes very little time to thaw. Making sauce at home  ( if you have time)and storing in the freezer is always a good option as per me, instead of buying the bottle of store-bought sauce laden with preservatives.
Heat pizza baking sheet/ pizza-stone 1-2 minutes before transferring pizza to it for baking. This helps to bake the bottom nicely and gives the base a nice brown color.
Bake for 10-12 minutes in a preheated oven at 500°F or 260°C.
Once baked, season with oregano or Italian seasoning and chilli flakes, and serve hot.
I made 4 medium pizza out of it and kept the rest of dough for making garlic knots. You can also bake the base for 3-4 minutes, cool it and freeze it for later use.
Notes: Steps to Proof Active Dry Yeast:  Take lukewarm water*(specified in ingredients), the temperature of the water should be between 100-110°F or around 40°C. Add sugar and dissolve it, add yeast and stir it. Cover the container and don’t disturb the solution in it for 5-10 minutes or till the forth forms on the top. If there is no forth formation, discard the liquid and make a new solution. To check the right temperature If you don’t have a food thermometer, check with your finger, it should feel just warm enough to touch. If you feel the hot sting when putting the finger, it is hot for proofing yeast. Also, different brands of yeast react on at different temperatures. See what works best for you within the specified temperature range.
  Ingredients— Bread Flour–250gms
Whole Wheat flour–150 gms
Semolina–100g
Instant yeast–5-7 gms
Olive Oil–2Tbsp
Water–325 ml
Salt–1-1 1/2 tsp
Suagr–2 Tsp
Mix the flour well and add yeast to it. Make a well in the center and add water slowly
Start mixing the flour toward the center
Start Kneading the dough
Transfer toa floured surface and knead it weel with strech, pull and flod method
Strech the dough
Pull it back
Fold it
Knead it to a smooth and soringy dough
Keep it for around 45 minutes to an hour for Prooving or until it doubles in size
Proofed dough
Transfer it to the counter
Divide the dough into balls
Ingredients for topping–nions, Cherry Tomatoes, SPinach leaves and green capsicum
Use Cornmeal for rolling
Spread the dough with palms
Knock the rolled base with fingers
Add Pizza Sauce
Add the toppings
Another pizza without tomatoes
Add some more chesse and bale at 500 F for 10 minutes.
