you know, a big reason i kinda drifted away from the phandom last year was because of how prevalent dp x dc content had become. at the time, i was more of a marvel girlie and i didn’t know much about the batfam or dc content in general. but this year during my (somewhat unintentional) hiatus i coincidentally got really into superman media, which then spiraled into an interest in the batfam and dc as whole and oh god I GET IT NOW

I never gave a try into Deltarune until last month, fortunately I ended up watching some comic dubs about Undertale/Deltarune (Thx @paramasqueradeva for the amazing dub work) and I just popped here! Reconnecting, an amazing comic made by @purplebehittindifferent. At the first sight I fell in love with they design (and with other's designs too tbh keep an eye on maybe 2 future projects 👀). And luckly the Reconnecting Art Contest was there, cause I'm usually too shy to join conversations or make arts about a theme that I like, so thank you for the oportunity. It was really fun to make this art and I'm very proud of it 💜 Give me the chance and I'll put they in a jar, and keep it away from this awfull world

Cammy went on a trip for a month to meet up with old friends and told Harvey to do the same. So, Harvey had to fend for himself socially without his emotional support fairy and he realized, "Hey, I can do this. I don't need to have Camellia with me all the time to do these things I've been afraid to do....but I do *want* them here."

For Cammy's side, they realize that it's nice to have a home to keep coming back to. The fairy village used to be that, but Harvey's garden is their home now.

And yeah, I cry, what of it?

walk with me. xina and miguel's decade-long friendship and xina's continued attachment to him extends well beyond feeling a certain protectiveness towards him while they were growing up (though this is true). while one of miguel's first on-panel descriptions of xina is of her "twencen freakishness," there was a period of time where miguel must have fully believed in xina's ideas about the past and optimism for the future. it's clear in the text that he spent years actively engaged in and even enthusiastic about her interests—he majored in twentieth century computers. he references the fly and ben-hur out of the blue, and while he couldn't immediately recognize jfk, he otherwise picks up on xina's historical and political references rather seamlessly, and even responds in kind.

so... of course she loved him. for a while, she had a kindred spirit. if the typical thing to do was scoff at fixations on the past, miguel thought her room was cool. miguel wanted to know her. there used to be a boy that... probably looked at her like a lost puppy and was curious about all the things she cared about. he probably watched all those movies with her, read all those books, and got acquainted with the history the state keeps trying to erase. he probably acted like she hung the moon.

Reading through your list of WIPs, I was like, “T-posing for dominance? That sounds fun.” But then I saw Red Devil Rowdy and OH MY GOD I NEVER KNEW I NEEDED THIS CROSSOVER.

For Essays on T-Posing, the concept was, "Janet Drake is Loki" and it's my first honest attempt at a Tim-centric fic. (I've actually been waiting for someone to ask about this one because I think it's pretty fun, at least to me anyway.) Emjoy lmfao.

“A big dog,” Jason said. He shifted, “What the hell is it? A Pyrenees? You could make a whole other animal out of this hair.”

Damian scoffed, “It’s the wrong color,” like everyone had encyclopedic knowledge of different dog breeds built into their brains.

“He's a hybrid, actually,” Tim said after he finished quietly knocking his forehead against the door frame because god, what a time for a health and wellness check. “Canis Lupus - Gray Wolf, and some Irish Wolfhound. I think.”

“You think?” Jason echoed back, incredulous.

“I haven’t exactly had time to get him DNA tested, Jason.” Not that Fenrir would let Tim get anywhere near him unless a turkey leg or peanut butter filled Kong was involved.

“Where is he?” Damian said, the can-I-meet-your-dog tunnel vision activated at full strength.

Hopefully not terrorizing some poor idiot with mom somewhere. “At doggy obedience school.”

“Without you to guide him? For every dog there are two participants when it comes to obedience school, Drake.”
