Hi hello and welcome to bullshit theories/headcanons that I have no basis for and I don’t necessarily even believe but I think are neat.

Please note that if any of these are proven right or wrong at any point beyond canon YouTube videos I wouldn’t know because I’m broke™. If it was in a video I clearly blocked it out so it’s chill

1. Hush is obscura

2. Vega overtime became more “demonic” looking as he succumbed to what humanity expected him to be so when he came back he looks different. His eyes are how Warden recognizes him. As he (hopefully) gets his memory back he will begin to change into how Warden knew him before

3. All d(a)emons have the ability to shapeshift, but in the same way that rifting was a “special” ability in the Imperium, shapeshifting is a “special” ability in the main universe.

4. Gabe’s death was planned by someone who has a job similar to Porter’s

5. Lovely is a descendent from the family of the person Vincent went on the Surge coaster with. Maybe a sibling’s child/grandchild

6. Hush could turn Sam into a Seer or something similar just like how the Sovereigns turned some vampires into Seers originally (I don’t think they’ll meet, but he could have the ability to do this)

Bonus: Sweetheart is ambidextrous, Lovely used to go to the chiropractor twice a week until they were turned, Freelancer loves spicy food and is the only one who can eat spicy food with Damien, Honey works with Aaron and Ollie, Vincent used to have heterochromia until he was turned but if you look closely, one eye is slightly darker gray than the other.

i’ve been eye fucking this account a little too long (because i get nervous and i don’t really look outside of the rp group im in) BUT i wanted to make a post about something i caught on because i am NOTHING if not an arg decoder sslluuT

so i think “r” or “r.anon” are two people combined into one person but they don’t wanna be

NOW I THINK THIS BECAUSE LIKE THEYRE OFTEN REFERRED TO AS “TWO” PEOPLE WND THEYRE DEPICTED AS TWO PEOPLE

“you TWO?” i also caught on that lower cases are “r.anon” and upper cases are “👁️‍🗨️❌” which is the red one i think umm idk if it has an actual name tho

plus this recent post of theirs where it’s shown as two people instead of one person mixed together like they’re usually shown and also there’s a NEEDLLEEEE like they’re SOWN TOGETHER or maybe it’s an avior ref idk i don’t listen to his playlist enough

and on that freakish post that ISNT the red one and has “r” in it there’s this

Highkey, had a crack theory a while back that during the Human+Demon/Sovereign war, due to Rak’Xit’s (Sovereign of the Inchoates) last minute sacrifice creating a fuck ton of freelancers to turn the tide, the remaining Sovereigns aside from E’Laetum and Min’Ara jointly cursed all of the resulting freelancers with misfortune.

That and Erik just also likes tormenting his characters.

Remember when Sweetheart said they "didn't find anything in the close knit raid" in this audio:

As I was rewatching the newest audio I realized that they did technically find something. They found Sunshine. But sweetheart doesn't remember which is why they said they found nothing!

Brachium(along with other serenity demons) erased the department employees memories which is why Sweetheart doesn't remember that they found Sunshine‼️

What I'm about to say next doesn't pertain to the main topic of this post but...ik I'm not the only one who heard that damn clock ticking 👀

Husband: Wow, so you’re telling me he was this super powerful vampire and he didn’t even try to stop 9/11. Wow Vincent.

aw man another brain ramble (part 3) (18+ MDNI)

14DWY DAY 4 DROPPED!!!! YIPPEEE!!!!

so i spent some time replaying the game to find some info and went through my old posts because some stuff is new! i also have guess ren’s name and idk whether i got it right or not HOWEVER if i do get it right nobody will know… i’ll take it to the grave.

anyways some fun things in day 4, i feel like we’re finally getting into the LORE. which is exciting because one of the reasons i became so invested was the lore we would get on the blog.

ren likes to draw in his free time, that’s a fun tidbit. mysterious ink and mysterious black smoke? interesting… angel having flashbacks about their childhood the more time they spend with ren? LOVE IT.

anyways with new content i have new observations! i am going down the "let's make him better not worse" route so keep that in mind in this post. i’ve gone through the blog again and hopefully haven’t missed too much, so let’s goooooooo

1. The Black Smoke

i have to admit i’ve gotten the bad ending without meaning to, because usually aren’t we supposed to want to move in with ren? he wants us to stay right?

not today!

this obviously has something to do with the main factor as the black smoke. what is the black smoke? it’s not a hallucination, and ren seemed EXTREMELY invested in it. and, not only that, he seems perplexed by it. what is the black smoke?

nobody is supposed to live on that floor with him, and even he has no idea about it. he becomes almost extremely fixated on it, and even distracted enough that if you tell them you want to stay at his house he barely pays attention.

it almost seems as if someone is incinerating something in there, but what?

something to point out is a lot of ren's scars are from burns, as fire has something to do with his past. i think i've talked about it before but in case i haven't, i have a belief that ren may have burnt down his childhood home in the past.

could the black smoke be an omen? we can see it as well, so it's not a hallucination of his mind. but this brings me to my next idea of what the black smoke could be.

2. His Computer

if while looking around you decide to peak into his computer, you get a conversation. i think their laptop is connected to their phone, because we can see a one way conversation as if ren had sent something to someone and then answered.

i believe this is river! as there is literally no one else ren would willingly talk to and even that is a rarity. however, confiding in someone with this kind of information seems like something he would say to river.

o - olivia

we know that river knows olivia from this relationship chart, and we've already run into her a few times. however, if she is involved in their past one way or another, she may have some of her own secrets. for one, she refers to ren in quotations, as if not believing their name, and river has been having issues of her following him around. could olivia be the killer? could olivia have something to do with their line of business?

"didn't we... u know?"

olivia isn't dead, so did they threaten her? blackmail her? hurt her?

it seems from my perspective that olivia may have rented out that apartment space and that smoke could be her doing.

we don't get a whole lot of information after that, since river or ren accessed and shut off the messaging app. but it seems olivia plays a bigger part than we thought.

3. What Is "It"?

this is the one that gets me thinking, because in the chat messages we hear about something river refers to as "that thing" and "it".

my first thought was olivia, but that made no sense because they had been properly referring to her and ren probably has no need to stay connected with her.

would this maybe be what's connected to the black smoke?

i haven't seen anything supernatural or non-human in this game, but the first thought i had was that it's some kind of entity. but, if there is nothing non-human in this game then what is ren in contact with? who? what happens when ren makes the thing mad?

it could be connected to his job, or something from his past entirely. one thought was maybe taylor, but why would he be in contact with his father? last time we heard, he has little to nothing to do with his family anymore.

What Is It?

4. The Drawings

something i learned is ren can draw! seems he likes to in his spare time. although angel seemed a bit concerned, as his drawings are not as light and romantic like the web comics they read, but... darker.

ren obviously connects with this gloomy character, who seems to be the main love interest in "always with you". my guess is he depicts gloomy and the MC as those characters, but gloomy specifically connected with them.

ren's inner turmoil is much more extreme then i considered, it feels as if he thinks he is always being watched. he purposefully isolates himself, but we know from childhood they were severely neglected by his father. maybe his father is those eyes, continuously tormenting them due to him not wanting to turn out like taylor.

some final thoughts

i may do another post when i get the time to look through more stuff and try connecting the dots, but this is what i have for now! i hope these coming days are more lore involved because it's been so fun to try and decode stuff.

another thing i didn't mention was the locked box, but there wasn't anything significant there. a ring is the key, so maybe we can get our ring from childhood back soon.

this may have been my favorite day thus far, and i'm excited for more in the future! i think i've been with this game fore around two years now, so i probably will stick around til the end.

I feel the need to preface this by saying that I haven’t seen anyone talk about this before but if someone has pls let me know and I’ll give them credit. ANYWAY

I’ve thought a lot about death in the redactedverse and what little we’ve seen of it basically not being at all what we’d expect/were originally told. Deathwalkers weren’t meant to guide souls down the river, but to keep the sovereigns imprisoned, shades aren’t souls who clawed their way out of death, but are messengers for those sovereigns. So I can’t help but wonder if the people flowing down the river of death have to do with sovereigns too.

We know that d(a)emons form from the elision well fully formed in personality and “body” (put in parentheses because they coalesce in Aria which obviously is a non physical place). I know this isn’t technically how wells work, but what I’m wondering is what if the well pulls souls from the river of death and that’s what makes newer d(a)emons. They have no memories of their human lives because the river took them all away, but they still maintain their personalities and what they would have looked like (albeit “corrupted” from the influence the sovereigns have on the river).

The word elision basically means to omit something (like a sound, syllable, word, or phrase) or to join two things (like an idea) together. This is interesting to me because it’s kind of what the journey from the river to the well would be doing for these souls, omitting their previous lives and joining them with a new identity (if that makes sense).

Plus, it would also explain to me why Aria and Elegy are connected for d(a)emons. It’s because the Soverigns unknowingly? pulled human souls from the river of death into Aria. They weren’t destroyed because souls aren’t physical, but the journey, plus the influence from the sovereigns, warped them into something entirely apart from humankind. When the sovereigns went to Elegy there wasn’t the same hand in creation nor the same journey for the souls, which is why empowered humans managed to keep their humanity so much. We’ve seen from vampires that humans can be warped into having eternal life and feeding off of each other (albeit from blood and not emotion) so it’s not too far off to imagine a human soul could become a d(a)emon. Then as the sovereigns were trapped in death, their influence on the river was enough to keep d(a)emons coalescing in the well.

I don’t know if any of this makes sense or if it’s just the rambling of a mad woman, but I’ve been thinking about it and I think it hold at least a little bit of merit

Do you think the reason Angel stole David's jacket when he came home and found them asleep on the couch wasn't because of Angel being Angel but because they were scared?

David was working late that night, the weather was bad, what if Angel started having flashbacks to the Inversion? What if they started panicking thinking things had gone wrong and no one had told them? What if the only way they could calm themselves down was to wrap themselves up in his jacket like they did during the Inversion, hoping they'd have the same outcome? Hoping that holding themselves in his jacket would bring him home again.

The TV wasn't on because they were watching, it was background noise so they wouldn't be stuck in a quiet house with nothing but their bad thoughts to fill the silence. Just sleep, he'll be back when you wake up. He has to be. They weren't clingy because they were trying to be cute, they were reassuring themselves that he was alive and okay, that he had come home again and everything was alright.

But they didn't want to worry David by saying why they were acting the way they were so they hid it under teasing and jokes, hoping he wouldn't be able to feel how their hands were shaking. Hoping he'd think their fluttering heart was from love instead of anxiety.

His cologne wouldn't be enough. A pillow wouldn't be his warmth around them. It wouldn't he his natural scent from a hard day's work. It wouldn't be him. And in that state of panic, they need him.

But who knows, maybe I'm just overthinking again. That's kinda what I'm known for.

project meridian loop theory

oohhh boy, we're back with me putting on a tinfoil hat and yapping about theories again

this is, of course, about the newest Project Meridian audio, so spoilers for that!!

(putting everything under the cut because theres a LOT)

JESUS CHRIST. okay. thats a lot. lots to unpack here mhm yep.

okay guys hear me out: Asset is stuck in a time or a simulation loop

bear with me im about to get REALLY nerdy with this BUT

Star Trek: The Next Generation, Season 5 Episode 18 — "Cause and Effect" is a time loop episode. the entire crew gets caught in a time loop for about 27 days (but they obviously dont realize this until theyre out of the loop) the loop always begins with Captain Picard's personal log, and always ends with the accidental destruction of the Enterprise brought on by their warp core exploding due to being damaged while attempting to get away from an incoming ship that lost control of its direction

throughout the episode, each time the loop resets, the crew experiences intense deja vu, brought on by the fact that theyre reliving the same day over and over. theyre able to predict small events that happen (what cards come next in a poker game, Beverly predicting Geordi coming into Sick Bay, etc)

AND in one iteration of the loop, the crew figures out that theyre IN a time loop, and devise a method to avoid getting hit by the previously mentioned ship, which would set off the chain reaction of the warp core exploding

they do this method by using big brain science time knowledge that im too tired to understand, but basically the motif of the number 3 starts showing up in the next loop reset, and when the Enterprise is once again faced with only two choices to get away from the incoming ship, Data realizes that the reoccurring 3s are connected to Commander Riker (who has three pips to signify his rank)

(for context, in every loop where the Enterprise gets destroyed, the Captain followed Data's plan of using the tractor beam to steer the incoming ship away from the Enterprise. Riker's plan was to depressurize the cargo bays) Data follows through with Riker's plan, and this time the Enterprise doesnt explode (yippee!!)

you might be thinking, "Vinn, you just explained the entire episode to us. what does that have to do with project meridian??"

well, using instances from "Cause and Effect," we can compare them to some instances that just happened in "Something's Wrong"

— the second phone call could be an outside attempt to break Asset from the time/simulation loop

— Asset knowing who the Solitaires are despite not having access to information on them could be from another loop where James told them who the Solitaires are, and Asset remembering

— the phone at the end could signify the end/restart of the loop

— Asset's uneasiness about the Meridian in the beginning of the audio and their want to "seek approval" before entering it ( could be brought on by them somewhat remembering whats happened in previous loops)

— the first phone call (the one James picks up), theres some spooky ooky ambience in the background (could be that the phone is a conduit to the "real" timeline/world and only Asset is able to pick up on that??)

— when Asset and James leave the first room and enter a new area, someone on the PA makes an announcement for the Deltas. this announcement glitches, but James doesnt seem to notice, as he continues talking (i cant quite make it out, but it almost sounds like someone else is saying something?) (again, it could be interference from outside of the loop attempting to reach Asset)

— when stepping out of the elevator, someone brings James "the latest simulation report." again, outside interference/echoes from a previous loop perhaps trying to signal to Asset that theyre stuck in a simulation

— phone at the end also as someone saying "pick up" or "wake up," didnt realize until someone pointed it out. its very faint, but its there (again, could be someone attempting to break Asset out of the loop)

one thing that i find interesting (thats not related to the loop theory) is that James says the force in the Meridian "diverts demons away" and "breaks human minds" when usually demons are allowed through the Meridian and humans just. die. then again, we have no idea when PM takes place, so it could be normal if this is like,,, a good number of years in the future

So I've been thinking about this

Our caller character is either a stealth or a d(a)emon. He can somehow see Sweetie despite all their curtains being closed. They can see them and follow them wherever.

They are either a d(a)emon who has been following Sweetie(Kinda like Regulus) or a stealth who is VERY good with magic.

I'd love to hear what you guys think.

I think it's kind of ingenious that Erik started off with unempowered listeners and slowly introduced us to the urban fantasy world he created. (Lovely, Angel)

Freelancer is our first look at an empowered listener. And with their first appearance is our first look at D(a)emons with Caelum.

Lovely's powers manifest and we learn that unempowered people have a slim chance of actually being empowered. (It's not lost on me that not long after that Aftermath we get a check in from Marcus where they'll have to be separated for weeks*)

Then we get Sweetheart who is a Stealth and gives us a deeper look at non-elemental magical races. And specifically insight into working adult empowered life.

We're also introduced to new Demon types (and learn what happens if an Empathy Daemon loses themself) but it's through already established magic types and unempowered humans.

Our next new empowered listener is Darlin, a shifter. A werewolf, a wayward member of the Shaw Pack. (I'm not counting Bestie yet because we still don't know what kind of Empowered they are)

Our next step is being introduced to a Demon listener with Warden.

We're introduced to a new type of Elemental during the E&E qualifiers through Freelancer

And finally we have a Telepath and Seer listener with Cutie and Obscura, magical types we've heard about, even seen a little of through James in PM
