I'm literally losing my mind rn guys

i haven't even finished the episode yet as im typing this, currently ashton is holding laudna as she cries on their shoulder after she sucked the life out of bor'dor.

i always had the suspicion that bor'dor wasn't telling the truth or telling a version of the truth, but i never really talked about it cause everyone was throwing out theories. i had an...inkling that he was connected to ludinus or just ruidus in general, and i was right in a way.

him being ruby vanguard is devastating but not surprising. it connected so many things that i chose to brush off cause i didn't want to seem paranoid. a specific moment being bor'dor killing the angel of the dawn father. during that scene, the way matt described the look in that angel's eyes as it died did not match the way that bor'dor retold it and i thought i had just...forgotten how the actual scene played out. now that i know, even tho i haven't rewatched that episode, i have a feeling that the hatred and righteous judgement i remembered was the accurate version.

i don't think bor'dor is bad, simply because i have no way to come to that conclusion when i know how easy it is to let fear and pain and anger drive you to vengeance -- the hellians are feeling it too, and i feel deep compassion for them so i feel for bor'dor too.

for all of ludinus' preachy bullshit he never gave me the impression that he gave a single fuck about the people who followed him or about the lives he ruined to accomplish his goal. i don't think bor'dor was some big wig, i think he was just a kid who was vulnerable and powerful and easily coerced. i do not think he is without blame -- his actions with the ruby vanguard have led to incomprehensible repercussions for everyone on exandria and outside of exandria too. (bear in mind, we don't even know how the apple bee's soul cycle has affected the fey realm -- or any other realms for that matter).

i think that there was no way bor'dor could have survived this night with the way it went. i don't think there could have been a moment where he snuck away. if he got a lucky roll, maybe. i don't think bor'dor died because /he/ was an unforgivable monster.

he died because laudna, ashton and orym were at their breaking point and none of them wanted to pull each other from that place of hatred and anger. they've spoken about feeling powerless -- terrified and angry at the situation they were forced into when they truly have nothing to do with ludinus' anger at the gods. orym, especially, has been struggling with his grief and his stubbornness, and this moment will have effects on all of them for these upcoming battles and hardships.

laudna. jesus christ. im so upset that delilah is back. or at least pieces of her are thriving inside laudna, seemingly every time she uses her necrotic magic. for a single moment, she felt delilah's complete control over herself and other people in a situation where laudna had no idea what to do and how to get shit done, and as soon as delilah had nothing left of bor'dor to scavenge off of, laudna was back to feeling weak.

i can't even process the lore drops of ashton's heritage and his father and the history of the hishari and the fact that abadina WAS an hishari ???? they need to go that cursed town soon or im gonna lose it. hell, maybe they're already headed there.

deni$e might say she didn't care whether bor'dor lived or died but i know that isn't true because she was a) the only person who didn't actually hurt him and b) she was trying the entire time to get the others to at least interrogate him. i don't think that would work for multiple reasons. bor'dor was yeeted to kingdom come so bor'dor would likely not have anything useful for them atp, and also bor'dor is absolutely not nearly as important to ludinus as they need him to be.

i think that maybe if bells hells was together, he'd live. but ashton, laudna and orym are too... there's something dangerous about these three being separated from their people. dangerous for themselves mentally and for anyone who stands in their way. i NEED bells hells to be reunited again.

it's sad that the characters with such a strong history of loss and betrayal and abandonment and grief and loss of control would have the traitor amongst them. there is nothing that bor'dor could say that would lessen the pain orym feels having lost his husband and his father, of him and his friends being killed by a cruel, vicious comrade of ludinus', of the tempest being trapped /because/ orym was the one who led her straight into it. the gods are all good and well, but i don't think it will EVER be about the gods for orym. i won't say he's correct or in the right for his narrowed vision and hardened heart. he took that locket for a reason, and throwing it aside is a calculated disposal of that inherently inconvenient empathy orym has for people around him. he can't afford to feel. not now.

quick question for u two bc yall have watched season 1 alot: does Nicky ever use a phone? Like, I thought for certain he'd have one bc my sis was like him in some ways and my family was worried about her going somewhere without a way to call for help... but then I thought "why wouldn't he use it to gather evidence?" And in my rewatch I didn't see one, but I figured maybe I missed it bc like... if he doesn't then why? It's just worrying especially when combined with how nonchalant ppl were about Nicky disappearing. Like it was common for Nicky to wander off for more than a few days - that's the sort of kid you want to have a phone the most!

I'm ashamed that I've seen it enough that I don't even have to check- but uh no we do not. He (and Ivan) are never seen using or holding a phone (I think Enzo too but I can't confirm that rn)

I do think it's interesting how his parents seemingly don't have him hold onto something saying he again, runs away often, apparently, (Jay, Luanne. That's not okay-) I mean I walked to violin class and my parents got me a government phone, he's over here wandering to God knows where!

Who knows, maybe they have given him something and he just- doesn't bring it with him, or something. I dunno.

It's getting so hard to defend these two knowing neither is dead but they couldn't even put posters up for their son who was missing for weeks. I just- I highly doubt they were straight-up bad parents in the books, I see people talking about them positively... but good god they've got tough competition compared to Trinity's lovely parents (especially Mr. Bales, love that lil baker man) I'm gonna need to see some serious care for their son from these two before I can even think about forgiving them

It’s been a while crocodile! How have you been? Keeping hydrated/medicated/fed I hope. Things been better lately for me. I got to ugly cry over the newest chapter of Epic the Musical and my Greek Mythology hyper fixation crossing in might as well been a train wreck.

I come with another question, What plays that the Bal!Boys have done or the kind of genre of plays that the Glamrocks would enjoy? (I just have this idea that maybe the boys when they’re on friendly terms with the others will do private shows after the pizza plex closes. So that way they can also enjoy the boy’s plays and bond with some of the kids coming out of the theater during the day because they can gush back and forth about the newest production.)

They would absolutely do private shows! And encourage them to take part, too! For fun and also art/theatre therapy is a thing djdjd Also I'm gonna give genre/movies/plays examples, but I think for the renewal they often come up with their own plays! Like maybe they'll be given hamlet and it'll be a retelling instead of just. slapping the brand on it (Chica of the seaaaaa)

Anyway! I think that Monty is probably an obvious fan of action, comedy, maybe secretly a bit of romance and fairy tales? Not a fan of the classics though - or, like, not shakespearean for sure. Stories about misfits or monsters who end up loved is a sure way to get him emotional (he likes to play the big bad sometimes when they do a play together, it's fun when it's a role and not something that's slapped onto your reputation) (he would be a fan of Beauty and the Beast I think)

Roxy I think would like rock?? Like uuh I think she'd get into Little Shop or Horror or even Rocky Horror Picture show (i think her and Monty would get way into the music actually djdjd stomping along) She'd love things like Wicked too, I think. Her Chica and the celestial boys will have an 80s girls night sometimes fjfjf think Grease

Chica loves peppy, fun stories, like say Hairspray or Legally Blonde djdnd though she does love a sad story with a good ending. I think she would love anything soap opera like and get really into it pff Very gossipy and dramatic

Freddy is DEFINITELY a romantic, loves the classics, things like Singing in the Rain

Bonus: I think maybe after the massive improvement in the boys' uuuuh Suitability to Interact with Humans probably looks very promising to Fazbear Corporates. I think, maybe, the stage/theater can become a lucrative space to test bringing back more decomissioned bots... maybe a certain fox and bunny?

The boys cite the new revenue from the theater and the need for more main roles to get them to bring back Foxy at first (maybe even as something like Captain Hook??)

They're confined to the stage at first so even if something was 'wrong' they get minimal direct interaction with the actual humans until deemed safe/graduated from the theater. I think Foxy sticks around or maybe gets pirate cove back.

Bonnie's reveal kind of floors Freddy, oh boy (and of course they DO plan a dramatic reveal in a private show with Freddy, cause well they dont want Freddy to lose him twice so they work very hard to make sure everything is good to go/he won't be redecommissioned before revealing him at the climax of a play) They come up with an elaborate play for Bonnie, maybe something like Sleeping Beauty? (thanks Eyndr!) where they cast Freddy as the prince and he expects like. a S.T.A.F.F. bot in a wig, and instead he finds Bonnie trying not to laugh and snickering and it's the most beautiful thing he's ever seen and he bursts into tears (static??) immediately.

Both stick around. I like to think that Bonnie doesn't actually want to rejoin the band at this point tho hell be close to Freddy Chica and Foxy. Maybe he even takes over the daycare himself? For some reason I see him as this mellow tired art teacher/caretaker when he comes back for good.

I see Foxy as helping work out the kids' energy and hes a bit of a gremlin himself, scurrying like a gremlin like Moon and very loud and dramatic acting. And also YN is well versed in LARPing so he gets a very very padded, not sharp/dangerous hook with the core still solid enough to actually be used as a prosthesis.

Anyway ye!!! Acting is good for all of them, either to work out emotions, or for fun, or to learn new tools for their own work (setting up a character so that they can be free to be themselves in their off time without worrying about the bleed-through/to help set up work/free time boundaries), and I think they end up putting up plays for each other even! Also, all the movie nights.

And naturally, this led me to rewatch Scream 4 for probably the bajillionth time, holy shit. Look, this is just something weird, something a little... dark.. that came to my brain. You roll your eyes to yourself a few rows away before smirking and speaking up. “Just say you’re a whore and go already, Jesus christ.”

You know it’ll start a fight but honestly, you don’t care. Because it’s Monday and Kirby fuckin Reed is already giving you a headache. You’d rather be anywhere but Woodsboro High to begin with, so the two combined and prompted you to look for a little spice. A way to make your Monday more interesting.

“Aw, look… It’s the girl who wants to be me so bad she can taste it.” Kirby barely looks at you. The jealousy in her tone might be missed by you, but Jill and the other girls pick right up on it. All Kirby has bitched about all weekend is how Charlie Walker is always following you around like some stupid little puppy lately. And she got angry as hell when Jill pointed out that she was upset, therefore, this meant she was jealous.

“In your dreams, bimbo.” you retort, twisting your hair around your finger. “I’d really rather not have to play pin the tail on the STD. How many are you up to this month, hm? Three? Four?”

She’s on her feet in seconds and you’re not a stranger to fisticuffs, so you don’t waste any time getting on your feet either. You’re pulling the big silver moon earring out of your ear as she starts your way and you smirk when Robbie Mercer grabs her. The only problem with this is about the same time Robbie Mercer grabs hold of her, you find yourself thrown carelessly over the shoulder of Charlie Walker.

You kick your legs, briefly flashing the entirety of the class behind you with the tear on the inside the leg of your favorite pair of fishnets and the faintest split second flash of deep black lace when your kicking sends your skirt flipping upward and shows your panties and the curve of your ass. 

You pound on Charlie’s chest and midsection with your fists and you squeal out in mock horror, “Unhand me, you asshole! I’ll bite, damn it!”

Normally, Charlie Walker doesn’t say more than a word or two to you here and there unless there’s dire necessity. He’s too busy following Kirby around or doing Film Club things or the video yearbook with Robbie, his best friend.

So it catches you off guard when he glances over at you and smirks with a little shrug. “Is that an offer, princess?”

“It’s a threat, sleazeball!” you assert. When you actually do attempt to bite him, it’s his abdomen that catches the unholy wrath of your teeth and he’s rushing to put you on your own feet in a quieter corner of the classroom -which happens to wind up being the supply closet in back. All you can do is smirk in satisfaction as you tap your foot against the tiled floor.

“What? Why do you look so damned smug right now, hm?” Charlie leans into you a little. Studying you intently. A curious gleam in ice blue eyes. “Does chaos just make you happy or something?” he demands an answer as he studies you intently. Looking at you as if he’s seeing you for the first time and honestly, it feels like he has.

See, until recently, it was all about Kirby.

But then you caught his attention by a happy accident.

You were trying to fight Trevor because Trevor decided to play grab ass with you  at one of Emma’s parties earlier in the month.

You’d dropped Trevor like a bad habit with just one slight movement, a simple sweep of your leg. Then when he tried to wrestle you down onto the floor with him because he couldn’t handle having his ass handed to him by a girl who was maybe 5 foot even at best, you’d straddled his hips and proceeded to squeeze his throat until he was struggling for his next breath.

Since that night, Charlie Walker had  barely acknowledged Kirby Reed.. Not that you’d notice, you seemed to be completely oblivious to the subtle shift in his intent focus... But he tried to pop up near wherever you happened to be a lot more. Which proved to be handy when you did something stupid like eating a habenero in the cafeteria on a dare and nearly choking, which he prevented by hitting you on the back until you coughed it up only to walk away wordlessly.. Or when he caught you pulling the fire alarm earlier this week just because to quote you, if you had to sit through one more boring pep rally, you’d simply die on the spot. He’d picked you up over his shoulder when you tripped while trying to flee the scene of the crime.

You were excitement. You were breathing chaos. When he compared you to Kirby Reed, Kirby only had sex appeal going for her.

And right now, as he stood there staring at you, standing taller and right in your way so you couldn’t get to Kirby like you wanted, he was starting to see that the scale of sex appeal was tipping a lot more in your favor than hers too.

You were snapping your fingers in his face with an annoyed look in your eyes and that’s what brought him crashing back into reality. 

“I said move, damn it.” you repeat yourself for at least the fourth time.

“Not gonna do that. Nope.” Charlie answers, stepping into your line of vision to block it. You pout up at him a little and laugh softly. “Oh, I get it… You know if I get past you, I’m gonna rip off your pretty little girlfriend's face and wear it like a Halloween mask. You don’t want me to beat her til she’s ugly inside and out… Right?”

“Nope. Not even close, kitten. Not even in the same galaxy as the answer.” Charlie’s hand raises and he drags it through his hair. You swallow hard because the smirk that tugs at his lips lets you know that he saw you when your eyes followed the way his hand dragged through his hair. He steps closer to you. Close enough that there’s no distance left between your bodies. Close enough that the scent of cologne and cigarette smoke and whatever body wash he uses and just… boy, those all combine and make you bite your lip just a little bit. You frown to yourself. 

You try to focus on what he’s saying, anything but the way his lips move when he’s chewing you out or saying whatever you’re barely listening to at the moment. Or the way he keeps stepping closer. The way he’s staring at your mouth intently as he does it.

And then your back’s against the blackboard behind you and his hips are pinning you between his body and the blackboard. One of his hands raise and catches against the side of your face. As the pad of his thumb rolls over your skin you shiver and before you can censor yourself, you melt into him. Charlie growls quietly. His other hand slips around behind you, settling against your ass as he squeezes. The fabric of your miniskirt bunching up in his hand. You whimper and your hand raises, tangling in his hair as your nails drag softly over his scalp.

Neither of you seem to stop and think, oh hey, this is a classroom and maybe we shouldn’t do this. Neither of you are focused on anything aside from just how good what’s happening feels. When Robbie’s throat clears from nearby, you two spring apart. Charlie glares at the taller boy and takes several deep breaths.

“I came to see if you got the spitfire under control. Apparently, she’s going to corrupt you now.” Robbie taunts him and you laugh, pouting a little as a hand raises to at least attempt straightening out the way Charlie had started to mess with and tug at your hair. All you can really do is shrug it off but the look on Kirby Reed’s face when she catches sight of the two of you looking as if you’ve just been caught with your hand in the cookie jar and are being reprimanded for it, that angry gleam is worth it all.

Even if Charlie only did whatever it is he was about to attempt just to get you to behave even a little. Robbie wanders back into the main area of the classroom with everyone else and the door to the supply closet bangs closed behind him softly but the damage is done. The trance has been broken.

Charlie steps back up to you and dips his head down, resting his forehead against your cleavage as he takes at least three long and deep breaths and grumbles out in a voice muffled by your tits, “Jesus. I swear the guy could unintentionally fuck up a wet dream.” as his fists clench against your hips when he grabs hold to pull you completely against him all over again.

“Were you going to kiss me, Charlie?” you ask with the softest of giggles. Melting against him which gets you a warning growl and the slightest nip to the side of your neck as the warmth of his breath tickles your ear when he responds “Thought about it, yeah.” laughing quietly as he gazes up at you. 

“What exactly is stopping you?”

“We’re kind of in a classroom supply closet right now, babe. Look around.” Charlie gestures to the lack of proper ambiance and you shrug. “It wouldn’t be the riskiest place I’ve made out before.” but you smirk as you say it and Charlie’s prompt response is to jam his fingers into his ears while loudly humming because he doesn’t want to hear it.

See, he’s gotten it in his head. This all ends with him and you. Screw his little agenda with Jill. He’s gonna turn on her and this time, the grave error made by Billy Loomis in not keeping his girl at his side will not be repeated by him, the new slasher of Woodsboro.

It’s not hard to do at all and that surprises him. He’s been faking normal for so long now that when something is natural for once and it comes easily instead of being a tedious chore, it throws him for a loop.

Your whimper as you rock against him and melt into him has him drawing a shaky deep breath when the kiss breaks for a split second. “Answer me.” he grips your jaw gently in his hand and you pout because he’s not kissing you anymore. “Well it was til you stopped…”

“Babe, c’mon. Are you trying to drive me crazy here?” Charlie questions, frowning at you.

Just finished watching Providence. I'll probably have some more thoughts to share about it after sleeping on it, and possibly later if I rewatch S3 again (😍).

Providence and S3 spoilers ahead!

The first thing I can't stop thinking about is that upon giving the Psycho-Pass subreddit a quick look before watching the movie, the only post I saw was about how "this movie should have come out before S3". I didn't read the body of the post in fear of spoilers, but throughout watching the movie, I kept thinking about how much I disagree with that. How insignificant would Akira be if you didn't know he was Kei's brother? How random would Atsushi be as a character if you didn't know what he meant to Arata? Imagine this random kid showing up. No one would react positively to Arata, Maiko and Kei. Akira would feel like a side-character we only cared about for a split second and Atsushi would be confusing in the wrong way. Season 3 wouldn't be the same without the mystery of Tsunemori's incarceration. Objectively a wrong take if you care about the storytelling and characters at all imo.

With that out of the way, while Providence answered some of our burning questions, some have been left unanswered, such as:

Did Gino change his haircut so drastically all of a sudden because he realised the wind blowing in his face meant he couldn't see shit?

I'd be willing to buy that he just enjoys changing styles regularly, though.

Since I'm looking at her... do we know what Frederica's deal is, exactly...? I also can't help wondering - is there a reason why Shimotsuki hates her this much? While she's always complaining over petty things, she seems to hold a pretty specific dislike towards Frederica. Is it really just her personality? (I'd be willing to buy that, too...)

I feel like we have gained a net zero information about either Homura Sr. or Jr. Or Bifrost.

I feel like I had another serious question... before I started joking about Gino's hair. It'll probably come back to me. I guess there's always "can Shou's backstory get a Moment? Anyone else remember how S2 didn't give its new cast the same amount of time S1 did? Babyboy's still kinda just Here rn."

I'm still a bit confused about Jackdaw and Vixen, and the fact that I only just realised that Vixen is a woman probably does not help.

I miss Azusawa and Obata...

Oh right, I think I remembered what I meant to talk about. There are events that clearly happened between Providence and S3 that haven't been detailed, such as Gino leaving the Bureau to join Foreign Affairs, Kunizuka running the fuck out of there or even, I believe, Arata and Kei being appointed as Inspectors. We know that Tsunemori contributed to the latter - I wonder if we may learn more about her reasoning in the future. I think we can also infer that Gino, who stated in the movie that he intends on protecting Tsunemori, had to change plans one way or another due to her arrest.

I feel like we still don't know enough about Akira's relationship to his brother or to Atsushi, and I don't know whether that will be forever left in the air of if it will be detailed. The exact implication of Stronskaya Sr. and her relationship to her daughter are also vague.

Honestly, there's a lot going on in this movie. A lot of politics... a lot of religion... and a thick wall of the story's context. It's complex, and it's interesting how Psycho-Pass is continuing in this direction that already stood out in S3.

I'll just say I'm upset about Saiga. Evil evil bad. I'm really hoping for more content with Arata, Maiko and Kei in the near future because I seriously love them!!! And I want closure for them!!!! Akira was a pretty interesting character, though his quick death was frustrating - which I assume was not not on purpose. Though it happened maybe a little too fast due to the movie format (compared to an episodic format), the revelation of his allyship was set up pretty well. Like I said, details are definitely missing - Atsushi didn't explain why Akira was so willing, and he was interrupted before he could say who he was in his own words.

It was pretty nice to see Kougami be a little cringefail. I didn't enjoy his characterisation in S3, but in Providence, it feels a lot more sensible - like he can really feel that he doesn't have control. I'm satisfied with his and Tsunemori's dynamic in the movie, wherein they care about each other deeply - dare I say, Kougami might even care a little more than she does at this point? - how does that dynamic shift feel my guy? - but Kougami's wrongdoings have weight and the narrative doesn't force him back on her. You can feel that he wants to be back, you can feel that to Tsunemori he never really left, but like I mentioned in a more personal post, Gino's her source of comfort, her trustworthy teammate; Kougami isn't welcomed back by default. This feels natural. This feels like the writing cares about their feelings.

What else... Oh yeah... Did anyone else feel like Saiga was kinda................. hot?

okay so i started with OG 911, i watched from the very beginning when season one aired until season 5 and just became uninteresting (season 5 was... bad...) but rewatched spring 2023 because my sister wanted to watch it. and enjoyed it much more that time around. and then over the summer i was sick and couldnt leave my house for a week so i decided to watch lone star AND MY LIFE WAS FOREVER ALTERED. (i realize im a very late fan pls forgive me)

i was hesitant to watch lone star because some people in the OG 911 fandom are very mean towards this show and it's fans. (i've distanced myself from those people. i adore this show and have met the loveliest people on here because of this show.)

okay, so fair warning. white woman, who grew up in a small town, and still lives in that small town. and my mom was a terrible cook. im slowly trying to immerse myself in foods from other cultures now that im an adult. but there is not an option for restaurants of anything other than americanized chinese and theres no ethnic grocery options here either, so i try my best. and i feel like finding recipes is so hard. i never know what to look for as a beginner.

i really don't know if this counts as a cuisine, but my aunt always cooked Pennsylvania Dutch foods (which is kind of a derivative of german so that i guess?) but my least favorite of that would be scrapple or pickled beet eggs. both are 🤢

since that probably doesn't count, italian. i love chicken/eggplant parm or lemon risotto (im probably offending so many italians rn)

Do you think Ian, Lip or Fiona ever broke any bones as kids? And if so, how do you think that it happened?

we actually learned that ian broke his collarbone at 12, and i always find that very interesting.

there are three ways that i think this could have happened:

he pulled a season 1 carl. i feel like younger ian was basically just like younger carl just a bit quieter and more mellow (less of a psycho), but he was definitely athletic and hyper like him. in season 1 carl tries to do a crazy stunt by driving a dirt bike off of the roof or some shit like that and ends up breaking his arm, so i can imagine ian trying to show off for lip or something and then just landing wrong and… bam. maybe he like, fell out of a tree or something. all i know is that it must’ve been pretty ian “play what cool” gallagher.

he and lip pull one of their infamous schemes and ian fucks up. yet again, ian “play what cool” gallagher lives up to that name. i’m thinking of the first scene with them both in 3x01 when they’re stealing that part for the thing lip was building (sorry i’m doing a rewatch rn but i’m only at like 2x07 so i don’t remember what) and then ian jumps off of the building and runs from the cops. maybe they stole something dumb from like, the mall or something, and they get chased and ian tries to do what he does in 3x01, but he’s only 12 so he’s not as strong, trained, and tall as he ends up being so he totally fucks up and gets caught. that’s pretty similar to #1 but i’m placing the blame more on lip because let’s be honest, lip most definitely had something to do with it.

football. ian played football in elementary/middle school, according to season 2 carl, so maybe he got hurt doing that? i was going to try to elaborate but all i know about football is that there’s a ball and people get tackled so… yeah. maybe his collarbone was the reason he stopped playing. like, we know he stopped and we know he wished monica was there when he broke it, so maybe he got hurt at a game that monica missed (ian gives monica shit for missing carl’s other games in season 2, maybe he was projecting?) and since he was injured and realized his mom couldn’t be bothered to come anyways, he quit? …damn that got angsty oops

also, ian is such an athlete that i can imagine him breaking other bones too, and based off of the scene in 1x01 where fiona says she can “never remember whether that’s good or bad” when lip winces after she’s trying to help him leads me to believe she’s had to deal with a kid breaking a leg or an ankle or something. i think it would be ian. i also remember hearing that when you break a bone it makes it easier to break it again later on, so him breaking his leg when he was younger could explain how his leg snapped so easily in 10x08😭

as for fiona, i can’t ever see her breaking a bone but for some reason i can really see her spraining her ankle as a teen. she was a track star and always going on runs, and i feel like that’s a common injury in track (my girlfriend does track… that’s the only somewhat athletic thing i know even a little bit about so i apologize for my stupidity about this LMAO). it could be a serious problem if fiona needed to lay low for a bit, because she would not let herself do it. and if she was still in school and doing track she’d be like, 16? so ian and lip would be 10 and 11, and i could imagine them forcing her to lay down and rest while they took care of things for her.

lip has never broken a bone in his life, miraculously. i mean, if you count breaking his nose, a few knuckles, and bruising his ribs then maybe, but i don’t think he’s really suffered a serious injury like that before. he always is getting into (and losing) fights, but he managed to never break a bone. my man is too unathletic for that shit (me too bro)… a deviated septum and maybe a sprained wrist are the worst injuries he’s delt with.

Childhood TV shows? (cartoons, disney/nick sitcoms, etc.)

THAT WILL LIKE GIANT POST BECAUSE I WATCHED THOUSENDS OF CARTOONS, SITCOMS AND MUCH MORE XDDD

Long story short, I didn't have any friends in my childhood and usually I was bullied physically and mentally at elementary school so yeee- That is why I spend 50% of the time in my home looking non stop at the TV screen and watching whatever i found (rest of the time i was playing with my littlest pet shops and monster high dolls making cults, apocalypse, and cities. I LOVED making city for my pet shops and rule them all >:D)

So I will tell about the most important ones for me, because this post would never end if I start talking about EVERYTHING (and won't talk about movies, because it's about what children channels was showing.)

In my kindergarten era my favorite cartoons was mainly on one channel BBC for kids. It was my gold, everything i needed after long day in kindergarten where children were beating shit out of me. And lately I rewatched Numberjacks, Charlie and Lola (funfact my 20y/o dog is named after her older bro XDD), Big coock and Little cook, Teletubbies, The Koala Brothers, etc. (i watched everything what was showned at that time on BBC) This shithead from Numberjack still makes me scared.

He is a demon from my past.

But my parents because they doesn't gave a shit what i was watching my top 1 kindergarden cartoon was original Ben 10 and Lady Gaga music videos (And I'm not even fucking kidding, my family has videos that i could sit for an hours and just watch poker face over and over again.)

And i also rewatched it lately and found out that most of the talking roles are shared between Ratchet and Optimus polish VAs (Jarosław Boberek and Dariusz Odija)

Later we got more channels on our old TV so I started watching channels like Nick, Disney channel and Disney XD (we had cartoon network, etc. before so yeah). And for that time Hannah Montana was perfect for me i truly love it. I loved this show. The same with ICarly (fuck Dan Schneider, fuck paramount and nick that was hiding him and other p3does for years, they are acting like disney but worse) BUT there were also sitcoms for boys, and if you know me I LOVE MEDIA FOR TEEN BOYS. After Hannah Montana stopped showing up, I really felt in love in I’m in the Band, Zeke and Luther, Kickin’ It, ESPACIALLY Crash & Bernstein, because it was mupped show but cooler for me at the time XD

And after it my golden era begin, because we got even more channels and I could watch for first time show that will change my life forever, thanks to this show I'm with you guys rn and start to draw:

My first ever episode of lego ninjago was the episode where 1ep of 3 season, and it got me so hard XDD and at the time I cried me when I was 10 I cried like little baby when Zane died and was this show-don't-tell ending with Pixal. It was everything I needed... and it made me nerd also XDDD At the time i start to watching Teletoon+ like crazy!!! I watched MLP there and LPS too! And I'm so pissed of on myself, because TFP was shown there to but I didin't want to watched, because since i was youngling I hated Bayverse and was scared of their faces, so fuck you Micheal Bay, I almost missed the best TF show ever because of you :))

But also worth to talk about is The Amazing world of Gumball, oh boy I love it the same as Lego Ninjago and Nexo Knights!!! It was spiderman universum for me, when i was young, I watched since it premiered to the very end and even as a young teen I appreciated the animation and creativity that Gumball was showing us. Since today I think that animation and ideas are just pure genius and I can not even tell one thing bad about it like about Total Drama (1-3 season lives rent free in my head still, that is why I'm danganronpa fan) XDD

And now we are getting to second most necessary canon even in my life. The March 16th of 2015 first episode of polish Transformers robots in disguise was showed and it was fun for me! Fun enough that I recommended it to my friend that I created this au with, and she told me that it was cool too! And then years has passed and in 2022 she rewatched because she was bored and discovered Transformers Prime, she was so amazed of it that she begged me for MOUNTH to watch it! And guess how she convinced me to watch it??? XD she showed me that one ep that Starscream was running with KO, because zombie Silas was hunting them XDD (I'm spoiler proof, so I wasn't angry that she showed me ep from 3 season). AAAAnd that is how it started and that is why I'm with you rn and drawing transformers stuff for more than 2 years

And then I started using internet to the state, that I stopped watching TV at all so yeah... (i mean i was using internet since 2010 when I was 6, and using school computer to play dress up games, but yk what i mean) AND ofc there was much much much more cartoons and shows i watched BUT like I told you there is too much of it XDD

As a funfact my sister forced me to watch naruto and sailor moon in very young age, so I never watched fully and to the age of 13, because of her I HATED anime XDDD

i finished diamond and pearl a few weels ago and once i started black and white it just felt so weird without dawn😭 like i didnt mind BW but i really didn't care for it too much at first bc of how iris treated ash, and how team rocket wasn't in like 4 episodes in a row and they weren't as goofy when working for Giovanni. im like midway through season 14 rn and ive grown on it a little but i just miss dawn lmao (i just wanna get to S15 just to see her😭)

that's why my rule for my pokeani rewatches is to always end in DP no matter what

but yeah same. baby me was so angry at no dawn that i dropped the anime in gen5 and ignored pokemon altogether during gen6 (and then alola came and taught me love again)

nowadays i can watch BW and appreciate it for what it is. Is a nice season where the writers were trying new stuff and its not nearly as bad as some people make it out to be. it just had the bad luck of coming after DP and not taking advantage of the good writing from the base games.

like, just accept what it is and try to enjoy the silliness and what it was trying to do.

Second of all, anon, you have come to maybe the worst person you could ask with your question. I'm not, like... a wrestling "greatest hits" person. When people say they want to watch wrestling with me and ask what I want to watch I'm always like well I'm like a month behind so, the next show I haven't seen? I agree with Hiromu Takahashi when he said it's not necessary to go back and catch up on old wrestling, because wrestling is something that's happening right now. I seriously almost never rewatch old matches.

BUT because you came to me I can still try and rec some matches anyway. I'm really bad with dates so unfortunately you'll have to do a little bit of work to find them.

Tam vs Arisa Hoshiki for the white belt is maybe my favourite match ever, if I had to pick one? Tam felt like she had to challenge Arisa for the white belt because she had been chasing it so ardently, but it was also at the exact point she was realizing how she felt about her and didn't actually want to fight Arisa at all. It still makes me cry just to think about it. It made Mayu cry.

Both Tam vs Unagi Sayaka singles matches are incredible and heartbreaking. The first one is Tam confirming to Unagi that yeah, the way she cares about her is special, but she can't put her feelings above her role as champion right now. (I'm like for real to this day so insane about the fact they actually told a story of Unagi saying I know you love me, I know we could be something special, why won't you admit it.) The second one is just, about their entire relationship, as Unagi was on her way out of the company, begging Tam to take her seriously as a competitor and Tam telling her she already did. They also referenced spots from Tam vs Unagi 1 in the recent Tam vs Mina double title match, with Tam cementing that she did not feel the same way towards Mina as she did towards Unagi, something that was always sort of... the gorilla in the room when they were factionmates.

Hazuki vs Momo Watanabe from... March? Last year I remember really enjoying, Momo is trying to bring out the anger that used to define Hazuki while Hazuki tries to prove she just doesn't need to be that person any more.

Momo Kohgo vs Saki Kashima from the 5 Star GP last year isn't super long or serious, but I love both of them and the story around it was so fun. Saki told Momo she could either win their match, or she would give her a signed copy of her photobook. Momo said she'd take the photobook, no question, and then beat her anyway.

Momo Kohgo vs Maika from last October (NOT their 5 Star match, though that one I also enjoy a lot), specifically the rematch with Maika determined to absolutely crush Momo for beating her in the 5 Star, is short and light and feels like seeing two people going through a BDSM tutorial in the most incredible way.

Pretty much, like, any Syuri or Utami singles match? Like their ones together or just with anyone. I love them both so much and they miss so so rarely.

Also I still haven't watched the recent QQ vs Oedo Tai cagematch but I know the story was great and incredibly emotional, though maybe it won't hit the same if you didn't follow along with the drama between Utami and Kamitani.

Which brings me back to my evergreen biggest recommendation, just anything recent that seems interesting to you. I am always up for talking about stories and stuff to the best of my ability to get people caught up too.

okay so my mari/kristi/kenny thoughts !! s2e7 spoilers

god i never wanted to give a fictional character a hug and a break as much as i do kenny. rewatching s1 reminded me that this is the guy that was already on the edge BEFORE he actually lost his dad. the night before finding his dad ripped apart by the night creatures he actually said "i can't find any more dead bodies", talking about lauren and megan. and the day AFTER finding his dad ripped apart by those creatures he has to babysit a guy he hates so he won't get himself killed because he thinks it's all a fucking escape room. this is how things START OUT for kenny and they just get worse from there. in s1 at least he had kristi. they were so cute guys. the way they hug and were there for each other... damn. that's a precious pair if i've ever seen one. and he had boyd. he had his trust in boyd. we know how that went.

now he's just like. how much more can one poor sweet bean lose? i was happy to see him and kristi finally talk but it hurt how that went. kristi was disappointed that mari being back changed things between her and kenny, and i get it, but how could it not? marielle got all her attention from the moment she arrived, and that's completely normal, but kenny has obviously been missing the comfort of their relationship (be it romantically or platonically—they've barely interacted since marielle got there).

the way he's desperately trying to keep kristi from putting herself in danger after all the deaths he's already seen... imo he's being completely reasonable. what she and boyd were doing was so dangerous, i think i would have acted like kenny even when i think that kristi was right to want to do the autopsy. the fact that he showed up to help in the end... my heart is so full. heart full of kenny. that's me rn. but i feel really bad for him because i feel like his network of support is definitely shrinking. most of the characters have made new connections since the start of s1 while kenny is more like desperately trying not to lose all of what he originally had and failing.

hell, even the most antisocial characters are making new meaningful connections. kenny is just losing everything. he needs people to lean on because right now i feel like he's just giving a lot more than he's receiving. he's holding on to kristi and boyd when they're not making him a priority and it hurts me. at least he has his mom but :'( it all just hurts. the way everyone stared at him when he broke sara's snowglobe too like he was a bad guy... protect my boy. protect him. he needs all the love help and hugs okay? okay???? good.

now as for mari—i really do like mari. i think she's in a really bad place rn and i'm glad that they addressed that kristi didn't realise that she was going through withdrawal which is a very serious medical situation. it was really sweet to see kristi comforting her but i feel like the relationship is kind of uneven. mari seems to feel bad that kristi needs to take care of her and i get her. kenny and kristi felt more like mutual support but then again, we are seeing mari at her lowest point. she's helping out a lot actually even in her state and that's pretty badass. i think she also can probably benefit from connecting with other people, though she's just got here so it makes sense that she's always with kristi. maybe she and jade can be buddies later on. i know what you're thinking—you can't just throw jade at people thinking that'll fix them. well i can and i will, dear reader. i can and i will.
