THIS HAS BEEN SITTING UNFINISHED FOR ALMOST A FUCKING YEAR#and of course i get around to it right after making that stupid masterpost. well there's another one to add i guess#anyway. this was originally now that you're gone part 2. basically aryll's counterpart to their dad's perspective#botw#loz#skribbles#i will say ignoring this for so long was good actually because it confirmed my suspicions that my pen pressure no longer works#the way it used to. so if you see any weird inconsistencies between panels or pages it's not me it's my fucking tech#for some reason i need WAY more pressure than i used to to get the same level of opacity in sai which is. not great for my hands#but whatever ive gotten used to it by now. ignore the inconsistencies in this comic its fine

#my art#crunchchute art#postal#postal dude#do i bother tagging all or will this find its audience#whatever go my scarabs#i did this and the sketch was awsome and then i colored it and it sucked so they got the low opacity color layer and dark brown screen laye#treatment. its the color schemes the lineart just disappears on the black coats unless i make them lighter and i dont wanna go lineless or#do a lighter lineart (though that looked cool too just didnt want it in this piece)#right initially this was meant to be more silly and i wanted to draw some kitty and ouppy icons under each and or give them cat and dog ear#because i thought about how p2 n p3 and pbd n alter got dog and cat vibes and i thought this would be a dog cat dog cat dog cat lineup#but its missing movie and redux and i didnt wanna think about that more anyway. and i shouldve put pbd in front of p4 methinks but this#works better with his leggy out i have a version for bsky (maybe) where theyre swapped but p4 covers his leg#also everyone already drew this 80 times And what about it. i wanted a chibi lineup too

You've probably had enough of this question by now, but I saw your recent Monroe/Hayden Smooch wip sketch and brush for "lineart" (let's call it that for clarification's sake) got me drooling. Something crunchy that I've been looking for for so long.
Do you mind sharing the settings?
hi! for that one, i used DAE pencil 2 - i think i've said it before, but that artist sadly removed their pencil set from CSP assets :(
HOWEVER. i do also find that pencil brushes specifically - like mameo (ID: 1870475) - also create some good crunchy texture! the main difference here is that mameo has a bit less 'fuzz' and more stabilization available, but there tooons of other pencil brushes worth exploring too!

14x17, 5 color screen print- one for each type of skill + black. getting the layering and registration just right was a bitch and a half but I love how it came out <333

"Gotta Draw Fast" Day 3 - Donatello group shot! Slightly different coloring method this time! Timed at 1 hr 24 minutes.
#It was about 32 minutes for the line art#I decided to do a background at the last minute and it's... alright?#The alcove behind 12!donnie is 100% at the wrong angle though#and uhhh shoot I forgot to color the elbow pad on rise where his arm is coming forward#this coloring method worked well for distinctly colored lighting though!#I did the whole thing in purples and pinks#then put the “proper” character colors on a new color layer and turned the opacity down#to just sort of tint it the right direction#tmnt#tmnt 2003#tmnt 2012#rottmnt#yza draws a thing

#id in alt#artfight 2025#skyrim#oblivion#houseki no kuni#oc art#hnk oc#tes oc#art#original art#fanart#tes#hnk#land of the lustrous#ok i think that's my entire tagging system there good god#Anyway.#the resizing/cropping might be a little wonky but if it works it works#and refs especially with this height range are always a pain to post#that said. i'm so thrilled i did refs height accurate this year#because suleil made everyone else so much smaller in comparison that there was way less to actually line and color#it's almost enough for me to forgive her for being probably the most difficult one to draw to begin with#not quite enough but almost#in general her and codriel (guy in fur armor) have the least set in stone designs (Especially her)#so they were already more difficult. and suleil is heavy armor. so.#i don't. Particularly like her armor design here? but she needed something on her and if it works. it works#and i go back and forth on designs constantly. maybe i'll warm up to it. i like it more now than when i drew it anyway#also her eyes fuck me up. i think i might also change them somewhere down the line again but probably not a Ton?...#she's meant to have Sort Of the same sort of corneal opacity that people get when they die but i don't think it looks quite right#not helped by the red/black elf eye sclera. kind of kicking my ass but she's cute and i like her So#but i think i made it too light in comparison with the color i chose For the sclera

if i remember correctly, i used clip studio paint's default Oil Paint brush for the entirety of that sketch, "lines" and all:
and i use that brush for a lot of sketching in general! it's nice and zippy, and also a bit soft :]
