Hugo Boss did a design competition to celebrate their partnership with McLaren and different artists made different designs for the Quali days. How would aliens deal with musical instruments—Western classical or otherwise? For example - you think if they saw a violin and then a cello, they’d say “oh that’s just a bigger violin” and then the respective players would get (rightfully) heated? Or, what about the guzheng or the didgeridoo?

I think that they would most likely understand that sound comes from those instruments but yes, they would probably piss off the respective players. Yes I think that they would refer to a viola as a tiny violin while a cello would be a bigger one because tbh, it looks like a violin except the size. The didgeridoo is one of my favourite weird instruments and aliens would be very confused how it makes different sounds. The guzheng is a guitar or violin except on the side so yes aliens would refer to this as a guitar-violin-piano. This pisses all the players off and they keep correcting them. The aliens get there in the end but it takes a very long time because the instruments we have might not be the same as on thier planet.

Another route is that some aliens don't have music and are fascinated by the instruments which means that these aliens would make sure to get everything correct so that their favourite humans who play instruments can still play and not be mad. I think that these aliens would then introduce it to their planet and then the music culture would evolve from earth's culture.

Obviously, I cannot say for sure what aliens would think but in summary, they definitely confuse instruments or just call some a mini/tiny or big/huge version of whatever the instrument it looks like.

What do you think about Lady Shiva agreeing to bear David Cain a child because of the fact that he spared her life/showed her true potential after murdering her sister? Would you rework this narrative to account for Cassandra's conception?

I find it utterly wretched. Just disgusting, half-baked shit that nobody should ever bother bringing up again. Not just because it effectively turns Shiva into a rape victim (remember, David's deal was "Bear my child or bullet to the head") but also because it saddled her with a shitton of cheap melodrama while also removing a bunch of her own agency.

I do have a pretty long, thick idea for how to possibly rework that to remove the non-con elements, give Shiva more agency and also add a couple wrinkles to her relationship with Cass, but it'd pretty much require restarting her whole story from scratch. And these days? I personally think it'd be better for everyone to focus more on Shiva's present and come up with cool stuff for her future rather than keep going back to a past that even when it was revealed, everyone rightfully ignored.

So 6 weeks or so ago BaldBastard tells us to get rid of the black supply tote, we're getting clear cube ones. Whatever.

The cubes are working surprisingly well, the sign holders fit perfectly in them, keeping it neat and tidy. Everyday supplies like tape, masks, and trash bags are in one, lesser used ones in another. Great.

Motherfucker shows up today and goes "you guys need a black tote. Like put the cubes in there. I don't know who told you to use those but you need the black tote."

HRMM random lore about Gabe, he was raised by his granddad Howard! He was a veteran and a classically tough sort of guy, and was the person to teach Gabe about survival, self-defense, weaponry, etc etc! He also homeschooled Gabe.

He’s loosely based off my grandpas, so despite his gruffness, he was very caring and committed in raising Gabe (privately, he worked on saving money for Gabe to get top surgery, which Gabe was able to do after Howard passed away). By all accounts, Gabe considered Howard to be the only person he loved and found important in his life, which is why many of his signature items/accessories are his grandad’s!

To your second question(s), YES! I’ve made like onnnee moodboard which was Gabe’s, I’ve been wanting to make more but haven’t gotten around to it. I DO however have MMMAAAASSIVE Pinterest boards for SEVERAL characters. And yes, I do have some playlists!!! I have one general playlist for the overall story, one for the more Scooter-and-Robbie-centric songs, and one for Tino+Winona+Ronan, whose group I still do not have a name for lol. I expect I’ll be making more playlists, too.
