SATURDAY MUSIC VIDEO MATINEE: “Act Naturally”—Singer-songwriter and comedian Johnny Russell came up with the early 60s Bakersfield country music scene—famously with Buck Owens, who hit the big-time after recording Johnny’s song “Act Naturally.” In this video I tell the humorous and surprising “back story” of how that song wound its way through obstacles and objections before becoming a hit for Buck as well as Ringo Starr and The Beatles. It’s a lesson in sticking to your songwriting instincts even if it means breaking a hot date with your girlfriend!
The Loser's Bracket will be a bracket separate from the main one.
It will be an 8, single-elimination tournament poll.
There will be a total of 3 rounds in the Loser's Bracket, each lasting only a single day.
Below is a link to a Google Form, where you can nominate any loser from the Preliminary Round, Round 1A & 1B, Round 2, and Round 3. Feel free to nominate as many as you want and submit propaganda, though you fill out the form once!
I decided that no loser from the Semi-Finals or Finals will be allowed on the Loser's Bracket. They made it so far that they already have a sort of status as a finalist, you know? Let's give some love to the losers who didn't make it that far.
The 8 most popular losers will make it to the Loser's Bracket!

We've all seen the McLennon clip from this press conference, but...um...it's just really gay all around.
John playing with Ringo's jacket (it looks like spider fingers), and their private conversation.
The McLennon stuff we already know as well as Paul leaning on John's shoulder and the 3 times John wants to say something to Paul but he's too far away and John's too lazy.
George leaning on John's shoulder after Paul moves to let him and their conversation.
Whatever happened when the camera moved and Paul lit Geo's ciggy.
See, this is what happens when everyone pretends McLennon is all that matters.
This is the first thing I've watched that made me think, yeah, they had some arrangement in their polywhatever of who gets time with who when.
And the first thing that I can't explain away regarding Paul and John having some sort of physical relationship. (but if anyone wants to give me theories, I'm all ears)
This is by far the most interesting press conference for everything queer and if you care about things other than just McLennon I highly recommend it.
