honestly haven't been all that active anywhere lately! irl stuff and also interests largely shifting from fandom to more oc-oriented things.

got a job! lost said job! got in a really fuckin' rad dnd campaign that occupies my every waking thought nowadays, lovingly tending to my pc and the party she's a part of (art to come soon here, probably! i've got a lot of it!)

that said, i'm also coming back on here later today/tomorrow to post other art i've done in my absence, including commissions that have been completed (and if any are still interested here, they'll be open again about the same time!)

and then i'll listen to audiobooks while i'm working and doing other stuff!

I am super bummed about this. Bummed for the people working on the show, super bummed for Tony and Holly, bummed for all the actors, bummed for allll the little nerds like me.

I was so stoked to see this handled in 2023 and with a kickass cast.

The like. Dark Crystal/Labyrinth/Brian Froud in General/Spiderwick brand of fantasy is so few and far between, and I know this was just another adaptation, but uurrggghhh. Bleh. Bleh!!!!

I really, really hope it gets to see the light of day.

Accepted a job 😭

I start tomorrow morning. 28ish hours a week, grocery stocking, $16/hr. About five months of 20-30 daily applications, and I finally got something. It caaaan be done. Aaahhhh!

It'll be enough to cover my bases, I think.

Thank you so, so, SO fucking much for all of the support while I've been hunting. it means the world to me. I've been under a lot of stress, but I am so thankful for all of you that I have been able to get to this point without having to massively restructure my life. I am so, so incredibly grateful for every dollar donated, every post shared, every single kind and supportive word spoken.

I'm going to go chill out and try not to think about all of the ways this could go south, lol. Thank you so much everyone. <3

my ideal: link's awakening movie animated by studio ghibli or studio ponoc

pretty possible: ocarina of time movie, with a potentially very messy sequel that combines a link to the past, majora's mask, and wind waker

super cool: a series that pulls from everything and creates a straight up timeline

most likely: illumination does a mildly comedic multiverse situation

i think about this far too much LOL

sorry for vanishing, this month has been actually the worst

for a couple weeks we thought my wife might have cancer, we still aren’t sure what’s going on but i’m extremely happy to report she does NOT have any acute cancers. there’s a possibility of a chronic cancer, but those aren’t terminal and people can live totally normal lives with medication (i didnt even know chronic cancer was a thing tbh)

but the same week we found out she was ok my cat’s health deteriorated rapidly and we had to say goodbye on friday. it’s been the most painful thing that’s ever happened to me. i love and have loved all my pets but she was my soulmate.

so tldr i’ve been stressed and vulnerable and havent felt safe to regress and being active here was giving me fomo 👍 but i think im getting better
