CASE FILE #1: First Mission in 2020-Current Timeline

It's my first time I've come back from the timeline in future where I presumed to be dead. The agency was flourished into a non-government military organization instead of disbanding it, from a paranormal agency to Rogan Commandos. My friends of AMS never cease to fail me after they'd decided to be a squadron of military men who only fight the apocalypse to survive.

There were no leaders at AMS except Rogan and G, they rebuilt it in order to strengthen defenses against the remaining zombies even Dr. Roy Curien and Caleb Goldman is gone yet the only mastermind remaining in their charge was none other than a man named "Thornheart", my brother Ryan didn't knew he was alive hiding somewhere discreet to make a plan reopening Noah's Ark Project.

That project seemed familliar to The Watchers, curiouser and curiouser...

It seems I had to ask Lea about that if she was familiar to it, the Noah's Ark Project was strictly classified to The Watcher case files and I'm sure of it that project can risk humankind's lives.

Aside that, while Harris decided to tour the organization following a new-bred agent named Lottie. I've saw Rogan's daughter, Lisa, grew up like an independent soldier instead of a mischievous kid running around the base to discover a new beginning of life.

She's with some man in brown hair who wears circular-shaped glasses, both the two wearing AMS-issued military suits. This man seemed familliar somewhere.

Not to mention he resembled an old enemy back at 1998, but I'll never discuss his identity so far. To Rogan he said "He's Daniel, another new-bred agent and don't mention about his surname or his life and it's classified."

Hm. Classified huh, Rogan? Must been too suspicious to tell.

I have doubts on this "Daniel" person, he might been a liable from the agency although he's new to AMS and people never suspected it.

If Rogan hides Daniel's personal information, who are you?

THE WORST OF THE WORST GG SHIPS.

+ 1. rogan. this is definitely a controversial take, which is what i’ve done for just about my whole life so i’m ready! logan and rory are probably the best and worst relationship in the show. it doesn’t make any fucking sense, i know. they seemed the healthiest at times but in general i’ve never been able to get behind them. even when wee 13 year old me watched it for the first time. logan brings out the worst in rory. he doesn’t challenge her, he makes her feel like she needs to settle, and encourages her departure from yale. he just never understood her in my eyes. he never got the driven girl or respected her. they were turning into what rory never wanted to be. and oh yeah, logan’s a dick.

+ 2. paris/francie. who the fuck wrote that fan fiction? this is why i fear AO3. okay but the tension was there, the competitiveness was there. i digress, PARISANDFRANCIE4LIFE.

+ 3. balcony buddies. JUST BECAUSE YOU PROCREATE WITH SOMEONE DOES NOT MEAN YOU NEED TO BE WITH THEM. lorelai’s age regressed ass needed to stop going back to her first fuck. and that’s the truth. side note: christopher only playing daddy when he wanted to go back to lorelai??? how did they never comprehend that???

+ 4. rory/dean. do rory and dean not have a ship name? why could i not think of anything? anyways, the only reason i didn’t rant about my amish haircuted boy first is because as BAD as it was, it was kind of sweet in the beginning. as the number one dean hater, i hate saying this. dean was the WORST. and anyone who supports a man who cheats on his wife and gets mad at her, can unkindly leave my class. the door is open bitch! butttt before the donna reed, before the **madness**, they were kind of sweet. for like maybe two episodes. he was a cute first crush that brought out something other than academics for her. but if they wouldn’t have gotten back together the first time (or the second time) i might genuinely enjoy their innocent first relationship.

+ 5. max/lorelai. um. the man proposed mid argument a couple months into their relationship. not sure what else to say except he and lorelai just didn’t fit. you knew they weren’t going to last. there wasn’t one scene they had where i was sure of it my first time watching. maybe they could’ve much later on if lorelai had matured (which obviously she didn’t, thanks ASP).

Research

So I was reading over the novelization of the first X-Men Movie to refresh myself on some details for upcoming chapters of Dimensions, and came across this gem:

He didn't move.

His attacker didn't move. Logan could feel the weight of whoever it was on his claws. And he heard the gasp of pain.

A familiar gasp.

His nightmare-fogged mind tried to wake up, remind himself where he was.

Suddenly his door burst open. Cyclops stood frozen there for an instant until Storm and Jean shoved past him, flipping on the light.

Logan was sitting upright in his bed. The claws from his right hand were still extended through Rogue's shoulder and out her back.

She was frozen on the end of his fist, standing beside his bed. He held her there, staring into her shocked eyes, not knowing if he should move or not.

What had he done?

Cyclops jumped to help, but Storm grabbed his arm.

"Don't touch her."

Rogue nodded, then smiled at Logan. "You were having a nightmare," she said her voice raspy.

"I know," Logan said.

Rogue eased one arm up slowly and gently touched his face, as if he were a long-lost lover and this would be the last time she would ever see him.

For a short moment her touch was light. Wonderful.

Then what felt like a blast of electric current shot through his body.

His claws instantly retracted, pulling through Rogue like a knife through butter.

Rogue staggered back, mouth open in a silent scream. Her eyes were wide with fear, with shock, with horror.

The electric charge stopped as suddenly as it had started, the moment her hand left the side of his face. Blackness threatened to swarm in from the sides of his mind and take him, but he shoved it back.

Rogue stood staring at him, with Cyclops, Storm, and Jean gathered around her but not touching her. And as they all watched, her wounds healed, leaving not even the slightest scar. She stood for a moment, a stunned look on her face. Then she bolted from the room.

His fuzzy mind wouldn't let him understand what had just hapened. He was just glad that she was ok.

Then he couldn't hold the blackness back any longer.

This time he didn't dream.

Okay. So let's talk about this.

The writing is just so...boring. It makes me so thankful for the world of fanfic writers out there who bust their butts to create stories, characters and worlds that are so much richer than what we got here. Seriously, way to go for attempting to fix this canon mistake.

What the hell? I mean. What the hell?! First, that's not what happens in the movie. Yeah, yeah, I hear you saying, "But BFBF, it's a novelization!" My response: It's a terrible one. The tension in the movie is so much better than what they wrote here, with one exception...

Rogue eased one arm up slowly and gently touched his face, as if he were a long-lost lover and this would be the last time she would ever see him. Excuse me?! Ahem. This part can stay.

The fact that Storm stops Cyclops from helping is crap, especially considering the next section of this chapter has him ranting about how Logan is putting them all in danger and "Think of the students!"

The fact that Rogue "smiles" at Logan while his adamantium claws are stuck through her chest is just...yuck. Pretty sure I'd be screaming or dead if that happened.

Also, Logan would be immediately aware of who he'd stabbed. By scent and sight. The adrenaline rush would've put all those lovely senses into overdrive, and there would be absolutely no confusion about what he'd done...

Anywho. Writing is going well on the next chapter of Dimensions after a two and a half year hiatus, so I'm hopeful I will have an update for you all soon!

Joe Rogan Podcast, a love story

"Joe Rogan podcast" Sonic says, gazing into the ebony hedgehog's ruby eyes.

".. what?" was the only reply that managed to leave the hedgehog's mouth.

Shadow had been quite fascinated by the corner of the room, and far too self-confident to admit that the speed demon's sheer presence was enough to make his face flush.

"Joe Rogan podcast" Sonic repeats himself once more, eagerly awaiting for his rival's response.

While still embarrassed, he still strongly wished to get closer to the blue speedster, secretly wishing he'd notice the small hints he'd flash every now and then.

Unfortunately for him, Sonic was incredibly romantically awkward, dense, clueless, inexperienced... other words that mean this same thing.

And so was he, as it seemed.

Sonic's perspective was somehow the same, wanting to get close but being unsure how to do so.

That's what happens when you put two emotionally constipated hedgehogs in the same room.

'Hedgehog's dilemma', the fear of getting close to others. Or, more specifically, the fear of hurting others and getting hurt by those you get close to.

To the point where you find yourself not knowing how to get close afterwards.

Even after having sonic repeat himself, Shadow did not quite know what to do.

Should he say it back? Smile? Nod and move on??

He did not even understand the meaning of the phrase the other was muttering; why is Joe Rogan? What’s a podcast? Can you eat them? Actually now that I think about it I haven’t eaten in a while, I’m quite hungry.

(That’s a lie, I was trying to be humorous, I ate literally 20 minutes ago.)

Noticing Shadow’s confused expression, Sonic took matters into his own hands. Literally.

Before he could retaliate, the red-striped hedgehog found himself getting carried bridal style by the lance to his Keith.

They both headed to a secret place only known to sonic because I’ve seen that fucking cliché in all sonadow fanfics I’ve read; like that’s actually crazy, it’s like all sonadow fans are part of a hivemind or something-

While actively tuning out the rambles of the narrator, who, much to their dismay, was now going on about the ‘shared unconscious’ theory, they find themselves sitting on the grass, gazing at the stunning pinkish sky of dusk.

Finally understanding the true meaning other the words his partner had once uttered to him, Shadow found himself saying them once more. “Joe Rogan podcast…”

Green eyes meet red ones, as they stare in anticipation before leaning towards the other, kissing passionately.

Only one small whisper could be heard leaving Sonic's mouth, "..poggers!".
