Y’all ever think about if Sora falls to darkness that inside his heart will look like the Destiny Islands falling again

#i do a lot #kingdom hearts #one of the biggest reasons i think we’ll see something like this in canon. briefly at least #not only would parallel ddd w ven’s heart/armor no longer there to protect sora #and roxas and xion gone from sora’s heart too. so sora would be alone #and actually there as opposed to in the RoL/awake when riku dives in #but also there is no way nomura’s gonna pass up the chance to bring us full circle like this. he loves making his characters revisit/relive #worlds and memories like this to make a point. and sora’s heart was sunset in ddd… following kh1 the dark and stormy night comes next #The thought of sora and riku reaffirming their love and friendship here when it broke the first time the islands fell #both of them having to in a way relive this horrible night for the final time #but riku doing the total opposite of last time. trying to save sora trying to stop the darkness from consuming everything #being totally honest with sora. reaching his hand out for sora but this time he’s not being consumed by darkness.#he’s become the light in the darkness. and they finally reach each other they finally grasp hands. I’m chewing on glass #i don’t think sora would ‘fall’ to darkness in the traditional sense #thematically i think it makes more sense for him to be faced w another martyr choice #though his own negative feelings would still be tangled up in there. and this would parallel kh3 #and if sora chooses to let darkness into his heart to save others it’d also parallel kh1 w riku choosing to open the door/let the darkness #into destiny islands at the risk of others #god it’d be just like kh1 but we’d be playing as riku and he’d be the one looking frantically for sora #a reversed dynamic. but now they understand each other’s pain and feelings so they can reach each other #figuratively and literally #i love parallels i love symbolism i love themes kick my ass !!!!

I am. Very normal about this arc's depictions on teaching and learning, and how about so far the tests are not about winning the battle but rather what the character have learned so far on their journey as well as in the battle itself, and how the ones giving the lessons are not only the teachers but the elite four and the gym leaders too, turning them into a key part in the learning process of the students taking the terastal course. I am. Very normal about this.

#so far I have not got the time to do it but I really really enjoy this arc and I would like to make a long ramble about it #because something that I really love is the relationship between teachers/school-Gym leaders-elite four. All of these characters play a rol #in giving valuable lessons to the students even as the battle unfolds #the results are not bassed on winning but rather what the student can prove about what they know and most important what the one acting as #the teacher (see: gym leaders for example) at the moment can notice about what the students have learned. Because they do!#this entire arc is hitting close to home in relation to what I see in the teacher training I'm doing* and I love it.#(*Whatever is the english translation for profesorado is.¿?)#pokemon #pokemon horizons

After pondering on it for several days, I have officially decided I did not like the direction of KFP4 and have banished it from my brain. It is no longer canon. KFP4? What's that? Don't know what you're talking about.

#spoilers ahead #it wasn't all bad #I really truly loved the scenes with Li and Mr Ping they were wonderfully hilarious #and the music was great #BUT #I just did not like the direction they took Po's story at all.#and I'm kinda furious they subtly undermined Shifu's character #by making him “fine”/“not fine” with Oogway picking Po as his successor instead of him.#it was only a thing for 2 seconds for the sake of humor but it completely undermines his inner peace character development #first off why can there only be one successor #and second off why can't Po take primarily the fighting side and Shifu take the spiritual side #It FITS HIM #don't know if most people would notice that shifu's character was undermined but because he's one of my favorites I sure did and it HURT #also um the furious five WHY didn't we have them be the main characters with Po instead of the fox chick no one cares about #literally their interactions with Po that's WHY WE'RE HERE DREAMWORKS #also it's become really obvious to me that the fox girl was literally written just so they could cast a specific voice actress in a big rol #nothing against that actress I love her in other stuff but that was a bad move Dreamworks #and another thing #the movie's message about change not always being bad is perfectly fine and good in theory #but such character change is only satisfying from a storytelling perspective if the audience actually WANTS the character to change!!!#I don't WANT Po to stop being the dragon warrior! I don't WANT him to pick a successor! That wasn't satisfying!! like whyyyyyyyyy #Plus he's like way too young?? to be worrying about this??? Oogway didn't worry about it until he was literally 900 years old #Shifu is what in his 60s? 80s? and he hasn't picked one #why would they make shifu worry about po doing that any time soon literally at all #so there dreamworks #I banish this movie #I banish it for one thousand years #kfp4 #kung fu panda 4 #po kung fu panda

I thought about how a rol reversal would look with my DA main characters, here's the concepts for Rune🖤

Champion!Rune never went to the Circle because she was better at hiding her magic (not like Canon!Rune who has lived all her life in the Circle and doesn't know anything else) I'm guessing her family moved to Kirkwall just because a lot of refugees seemed to, and stablished themselves at the Alianage, but Rune grew a reputation the same way, being extremely resourceful and very powerful. I have fun picturing her with a family since Canon!Rune doesn't know anything about her past. She would get along really well with Anders but they don't have the same close brother/sister relationship they have in my canon. And she would adore Merrill, she's fascinated by Dalish culture because Rune is and always will be a nerd. I think she would romance Fenris which is really funny cause he's the only character I haven't romanced in canon (besides Sebastian)

Inquisitor!Rune is the First of her Clan, just like Lavellan, she mantains her serious and cold personality, with a goofy side nobody sees coming. And extremely against everything about the Inquisition especially them trying to deny her heritage so she'd be really agressive about that. Like the Champion version I had fun envisioning a universe where she knows her biological family and her Clan. She gets along mostly with other mages because like I said she's a nerd and she loves studying, especially Solas. But she would be fascinated by Sera and Cole. In this case I don't know who she would romance, I don't think any of them are her type.
