Let's Talk #TheLoudHouse: Season 6 Final Thoughts
While it lacked any major changes, Season 6 of The Loud House built upon the fifth season with a variety of highs and lows.
Tumblr media
For my thoughts on Season 6, feel free to keep reading. There will be spoilers.
The sixth season for the most part followed up on the fifth's change in the status quo by expanding upon the siblings. It also felt like the writers rectified some of the fifth season's flaws, as there were less episodes about Lincoln at school and more featuring his sisters to varying degrees. Nearly every sibling got an equal amount of episodes and Lily began to play a much more active role.
During the season's absurd length of 14 months, including hiatuses, the show saw both the end of The Casagrandes and premiere of its live action spinoff The Really Loud House. The former's cancelation appeared to occur at some point midseason, giving the show a chance to reintegrate Ronnie Anne and their respective original characters. Their reappearances were basically the spin-off's unproduced episodes, especially by how the Louds were often sidelined.
Tumblr media
For Ronnie Anne, it marked her first appearance on the show since Season 4. It also followed up on the spin-off's finale with Bobby now living in his own apartment and Lori finally meeting his father Arturo.
Season 6 also surpassed The Fairly OddParents to become the third longest-running Nicktoon, with the season finale "Love Stinks" surpassing that show's individual segment count. It is an impressive feat considering how it took ten seasons over multiple hiatuses and inconsistent episode orders for OddParents to reach that goal, while this show did it after only six seasons with no breaks.
Tumblr media
When it comes to the season's best episodes, there were a few.
The Taunting Hour: Seeing how people can't stand the family made this come across as an unofficial response by the show's writers to their online detractors.
Time Trap!: After teasing the concept, the show finally embraces time travel in a half-hour episode in the vein of Back to the Future.
Puns and Buns: A rare episode focusing on a supporting character, in this case Luan's boyfriend Benny.
Small Blunder: Lily plays an active role in this episode and for the first time ever speaks in full sentences.
Fashion No Show: This felt like a salvaged story from The Casagrandes, especially by how Carlota plays a bigger role compared to Leni. It finally offered the opportunity for the two fashionistas to clash in the perfect premise.
Despite those positives, there were still several bad ones.
Sofa, So Good: A retread of the ending of "Come Sale Away", right down to the siblings running around town, the only difference being Lily getting involved in lieu of Lori.
Eye Can't: A lackluster Lisa story that sets up a conflict about her eyesight but instead focuses too much on her robot Todd.
Sleepstakes: Lana's fears about sleepovers could have worked better with a sibling whose friends have previously appeared, such as Lucy, Lincoln, or even Lori (albeit the latter two as flashbacks).
Food Courting: This was straight up boring, and the most memorable thing to come out of it was a GIF of an excited Leni.
Doom Service: It tries to turn Vic (a recurring character) into an ongoing antagonist. Instead, it just comes across as being written by a fanfic writer who hated the show only to then be hastily rewritten to have a happy ending.
If there is anything else left to say about Season 6, it was overall enjoyable. Possibly the only other thing to say would be that it would have been great to see more stories with Luna and Sam as well as Benny and Luan.
Tumblr media
Season 7 will be much shorter, with only 20 half-hour episodes rather than the usual 26. It remains to be seen if the show will get an eighth season. Considering Really got renewed for a second season and has an upcoming Halloween TV movie, the recently announced Casagrandes movie, and a second animated film (unintentionally confirmed via a LinkedIn profile), it is only a matter of time.
Tumblr media
It will also break another record. At some point during Season 7, the show will surpass the episode count of the original Rugrats. By the end of Season 7, The Loud House will become the second longest-running Nicktoon (by episode count).
Tumblr media
As for the upcoming season, it will feature the show's first serialized arc where the Louds go on a road trip. Within those episodes, they will visit not only Great Lakes City (the setting of The Casagrandes) but also the White House.
Tumblr media
Hopefully, Season 7 will feature more great episodes and preferably less vitriol from certain commentators.
Tumblr media
Until next time, thank you for reading!

barry (for the tv ask!)
Favorite episode and why - Chapter Seven: Loud, Fast, and Keep Going and ronny/lily remain to be my favorite episodes on the show
Funniest/crackiest/it’s-terrible-but-I-still-love-it episode/scene - probably 710N?
It’s-terrible-and-I-hate it episode/scene - honestly, I can't think of any right now lol
Best episode/scene for my favorite character - all the sauces was a great episode for sally!!!
Best episode/scene for my favorite ship - no idea for this too
Best episode/scene for a particular supporting character - when hank went off to barry at you're charming!!! yes king!!!
Best episode/scene for a character I don’t usually like - i'd say wow was my favorite episode for fuches? he's my least favorite but i found his ending to be fitting for him.
Most visually beautiful or interesting episode/scene - majority of season 4 had banger cinematography but I'd go with wow (because of the shots of hank holding the hand of the cristobal statue and the wide shot of gene and barry in the living room after gene kills barry)
Most emotionally affecting episode/scene - what I can think of right now is the scene of Sally and Barry at the play in Chapter Seven: Loud, Fast and Keep Going
Most powerful use of music in an episode/scene - have no idea? can't think of any?
Episode/scene that changed my perspective on the show - the last four episodes in season 4! they made me really anxious while watching them lmao
Episode/scene where the acting stands out - sarah goldberg's performance throughout season 3 was one of the best acting i have witnessed (and it's still so ridiculous she never got an emmy nomination for it!!! forever bitter about it!!!)
Overall best-written episode - damn this is hard, but probably starting now
Give me a TV show, and I will tell you

Here are some shows I recommend to everyone!!! I just want the chance to gush about my favorite shows and if this convinces you to watch any of them, then I will consider my life’s mission complete and I will die peacefully 💕 (these are in no particular order btw)
1. It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
- I love this show. I love it so much. The first show to ever make me laugh OUT LOUD in my empty home while watching, like a full on belly-laugh even with no one else around. I got my roommate/bestie/partner to like this show, and now our dorm room is covered in iasip stuff. It’s half satire and half pure comedy, with some really dynamic and funny characters and a super simple premise (5 people own a bar. They get up to shenanigans around Philly. They are also the most terrible people on the planet and have no regard for others.) I know a lot of people hate the first season (probably for good reason, the political satire didn’t click very well from the get-go and its… difficult… to sit through some scenes) but I still enjoy it purely for how funny the characters are despite being awful people. Notable episodes are The Nightman Cometh (4x13), The Gang Solves the Gas Crisis (4x2), A Very Sunny Christmas (6x13), and The Gang Dances Their Asses Off (3x15).
2. Barry
- this is the most recent show that I finished all the way through, and I have to say, it’s really that good. Bill Hader is a really amazing actor — I had only seen him on SNL before this, and I had no idea he could display such a perfectly horrifying range of emotions. It starts a little slow; the first couple of episodes are good, not outstanding, but then it really picks up and creates a super strange, almost surreal atmosphere of tension/emotion/drama. Basically, the premise is that a professional hit man realizes his true passion is acting, but can’t seem to shake his past and move forward with his plan of redemption. A super great show. Honestly I can’t pick a single episode or two that are my favorite, but Ronny/Lily from season 2 was nominated for an Emmy I think, so check that one out :) this show is also very very violent so just giving you a warning now lol
3. Arrested Development
- this show is so good??? what???? honestly I never watched the last two seasons (I tried — I failed), but the third season ends the show perfectly, you don’t have to watch after that if it’s not holding your attention like it didn’t hold mine. I don’t even know how to describe how well this show (especially the first season, which is the best first season of almost any show I’ve seen) interconnects all these crazy jokes, plot lines, and characters so effortlessly. It’s fucking insane. I think (?) Drew Gooden made a video about how AD was ahead of its time, go check that out if you’re interested in hearing more about the humor style bc it’s really hard to explain. The premise is that a super rich family ends up losing their money when the patriarch is sent to jail for fraud (??) and hijinks ensue. Best episodes are Bringing Up Buster (1x3), Pier Pressure (1x10), and Let ‘Em Eat Cake (1x22).
4. What We Do In The Shadows
- vampires who live in Staten Island with their human familiar, what could be better than that?? I am not going to sit here and say that this show is amazing or perfectly written — it’s not, but something about the passion that the actors put into their roles, how they absolutely fully commit to the goofiness, is super endearing and hooked me from the beginning. It’s campy and fun with a dark sense of humor, and really sells its concept well. Vampires!!! Blood!!! Homosexuals???? The Casino (3x4) is a standout episode to me, but most of the episodes are about the same quality in my mind.
5. Succession
- yeah this show deserves all the fucking awards. It’s so good. I almost never choose to watch dramas, but I was promised gay people, and while that kind of didn’t shape out, the rest of the story is just amazing. I’m sure you guys have heard people rave about this show, and you should listen to them, because they are fucking right!!!! On the outside, it looks like a bland, colorless business drama, but once you dive into it (the first half of season one is kind of a slog), there is so much pain, love, redemption, loss, and beauty hidden under the layers of the show (and this reflects the characters too — stale from the outside, but much deeper and intriguing on the inside). The writing is spectacular. The jokes are actually funny?? The camera work and acting is incredible (seriously, props to Jeremy Strong for making me have overwhelming levels of empathy for his shitty, horrible character. Also, all the other actors and actresses are amazing, I can’t think of a single one who put in less than 110% into their role). Just go watch it. All the episodes are good, but the beginning episode of season 3 is such a strangely compelling and relatable character journey for Kendall, I felt way too many emotions in one sitting.
6. Stranger Things (Season 1)
- I am currently at the end of season 2, and while I still really enjoy it, I don’t think there has ever been a more cohesive and enjoyable first season of a show than Stranger Things. Like.. when people were hyped about this… it was deserved. I only recently got around to it, but yeah, it’s just as awesome as people say it is. The horror elements are really well done (I normally hate gore and horror and scary stuff, but I found myself not even shying away or being grossed out, it just fits so perfectly into the story that it wasn’t off putting to me at all), and the characters are so dynamic and realistic and interesting that I felt myself so incredibly compelled to watch the next episodes just to see what the characters did next!! I’m trying to think of characters that I disliked from the first season, and I genuinely can not think of any (Steve is a little flat, but he’s not super important this season so I forgive him). The plot is so unsettling and creepy, I was sitting on the edge of my seat watching most of the season. The soundtrack slaps, the direction is awesome, the set pieces are fun to look at and make perfect places for action to occur. All the storylines coming together at the end occurs so smoothly that I was actually shocked they managed to pull it off, and none of the things the characters did made me irrationally frustrated like in most horror media (except when a few characters of the main group split up for an episode — that was kind of stupid and didn’t need to happen). I like the time period they decided to set it in I guess, I felt nostalgic for the 80s even though I was born in 2003 lmao. Just go watch the first season, you won’t regret it.
Okay I might make a part 2 later because I’m tired of typing, but hopefully you guys will give these shows a chance!!! 💕💕💕

12 shows of 2019
I recently started what will most likely be my top shows of 2020 when I realized I never posted my 2019 list! Better 7 months late than never. Without further adieu:
The new (and sometimes old) series and seasons that made my year.
Tumblr media
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: A random S3-7 rewatch inspired me to play around with my own rip-off story that I became very obsessed with.
Tumblr media
Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency [BBC America]: An extremely fun weird beautiful ride that deserved at least 1 or 2 more seasons.
Tumblr media
90 Day Fiancé (the franchise) [TLC]: Trash tv at its finest. For added fun and generational whiplash, concurrently watch the pioneer of voyeuristic reality tv: Michael Apted’s Up series.
Tumblr media
Better Things (S3) [FX]: It started great and gets better and better every year. Like Pamela Adlon herself.
Tumblr media
Workin’ Moms (S2) [CBC/Netflix]: This season reinvented the meet-cute, smartly swapped main/side characters, and delivered a wallop of a season finale that perfectly bookended the premiere.
Tumblr media
Claws (S3) [TNT]: The season that finally delivered on its premise in the weirdest, bloodiest, and most fabulous ways.
Tumblr media
Silicon Valley (final season) [HBO]: A solid ending for a solid comedy that brought me a lot of joy over the years.
Tumblr media
The Other Two [Comedy Central]: The freshest funniest new thing! Quirky. Delightful. Relatable. And just enough emotion and love without crossing into saccharine. Also, it introduced me to Josh Segarra, who I am now in love with.
Tumblr media
Barry (ronny/lily) [HBO]: This. Episode.
Tumblr media
Legion (final season) [FX]: From the psychedelic premiere alone, I knew this was going to land on my list again. As much of a visual and auditory work of art as ever, this final bow tightened up the story enough to be a satisfying ending. Also, this ship.
Tumblr media
Succession (S2) [HBO]: L to the OG. Boar on the floor. Holly Hunter. Cherry Jones. Stefan Strauss. Gerri and Roman. Brian Cox in every scene. Jeremy Strong’s face. No other show feels like a tight coil in your stomach waiting for the pin to drop while you laugh at filthy insults.
Tumblr media
On Becoming a God in Central Florida [Showtime]: This bizarre murky pastel colored 90′s-set dark dramedy immediately hooked me in with its oddness. By the time Dunst’s Krystal took a bird-induced surreal odyssey through Floridian suburbia I was absolutely in love.
Tumblr media
Lodge 49 [AMC]: A gem. Influenced by two of my most beloved series: Cheers and Peep Show, I was bound to love this. But it is a masterpiece all on its own. So funny and so sad. It manages to oscillate between silliness and philosophy. It is literary in both text and image. So deeply human in its study of the journey to find meaning in contemporary life. Such a unique meditative show didn’t stand a chance, but the cancellation hurt like the devil nonetheless. (Even more so when not long after AMC premiered a slightly similar show with bigger names and a flashier premise.) Go watch seasons 1 & 2 on Hulu!

4, 8, 16, 22 for the Barry ask 😊
Thank for the ask @writerastronaut-main
4: My favorite NoHo Hank interaction is in Season 2 when he does that song and dance on the roof after Barry tells him that he’ll train his guys.
8: I would probably rewrite the scene between Barry and Sally in Season 2 when they are doing the big show. I’d rewrite to where they perform Sally’s scene the way the it was written and he actually chokes her, but he immediately realizes what he’s doing and he runs off the stage. I would do this because it gives Sally a glimpse into Barry’s real life and that facts that he’s no okay.
16: Yes! I think the show does a great job at intergrading the humor with the violence. For example, in the Ronnie/Lily episode, the violence scenes leave you on the edge of your seat, but then Fuches glues his hands to the steering wheel and you’re laughing at how Barry tells him to get the girl off of his face.
22: I think the most cringiest part is in Season 1 when Natalie throws the house party and Barry shows up with a computer for Sally. He thinks that they are in a relationship after sleeping together once and the whole situation is awkward. I can’t handle awkward confrontation so I’m cringing through that whole scene.

The Loud House Reviews: L is For Love
Tumblr media
Happy Pride Month Everyone! I have to admit I didn’t realize pride month was in June. Luckily that just meant two things: 1) This was a plesant suprise for once in an escalatingly terrible year when I found out early yesterday morning when most of this review was written. And 2) I already, thanks to thinking about them due to the she ra finale and watching more loud house again now i’m back on cable, planning to do the three Saluna episodes as at trilogy after getting blood moon ball out of the way.
Today’s ep takes place in late season 2. As mentioned in the “Brave the Last Dance Review’ the series had some growing pains before it got to it’s current shape: the series largely focused on lincoln at first, but as season 2 went on the show slowly eased off him. While he still gets plenty of episodes focusing on him, and still gets the ocasional weird zach morris talk to the camera moment when the episode calls for it, the show wisely decided to make itself into an ensemble piece. INstead of being about the one boy navigating a big house it became about 11 children and their parents navigating being a big family and the perils of adolsence and what not.  As such today’s ep , while focusing on the kids as a whole, evnetually zeros in on my faviorite Loud child, Luna. Luna, as you probably know but what the hell, is an aspiring rock star, most of the time fairly chill and using the word dude a lot but not afraid to get loud, pun intended, or throw up the devil horns at a moments notice. She’s also a loving big sis, cares about her siblings, and is in short a wonderful character that season 1.. really didn’t give much focus. Season 2 rectified that to my delight, giving her a focus episode early on, Roadie to Nowhere, which revealed that she also has some confidence issues that are brought to the forefront here and go on to be a vital part of her character. I also admitely was delighted to see her voice actress, Nika Futterman, in a major role again, and she’s delightful in the role and even does luna’s singing. And this ep while being an “all hands on deck’ episode about all of the siblings, does have a major focus on luna as it goes, and thus I jumped on it immidetly.. that and you know, the fact it canocially made her bisexual, making a headcanon I had about her canon and being something they actually hinted at back in season 1. But we’ll get more into that later. For now, L is for love, lunacy and luna after the cut!
We open with Lincoln getting the mail and then gasping in shock at one letter, before calling an emergency sibling meeting. The sibling meetings are something that had been set up before with Lori,a s the oldest, leading them, and a thing I like: it makes sense with this many kids to have some sort of internal way to solve problems with them or vote on things as a group when needed. Simple, makes sense and i’m glad it’s stuck around. After dealing with the previous meetings minutes, Lincoln reveals what rattled him a bit: A mysterious love letter adressed to “L.Loud”. And it’s a nice way to use the series cute naming gimmick as a plot point: ONE of the siblings has a secret admirer,a nd while Lori, being lori, assumes it’s her boyfriend bobby, sh’es quickly shot down. And that.. makes sense. Bobby is a romantic, and a great character who I love dearly and will watch the spinoff soley because he’s in it.. but it’s been shown before this ep that bobbi’s a big romantic gesture guy. The boy put himself in a giant present and nearly suffocated to death to surprise his girlfriend for Christmas and went above and beyond for their anniversary. The guy’s a peach.. but he’s also not subtle. He’s also, while not lacking in cleverness as his later career as a bodegaman shows, not very bright so if this was him, his name would probably be crossed out somewhere on it.  But each of the louds have their own crushes... which is a problem with the ep. Now to the shows credit, besides the obvious of having Sam come back, two of these characters DO come back later: Chaz, Leni’s crush, ends up mentioned in season 3, and Luann’s crush Benny ends up the focus of a spotlight episode for her in late season 3, voiced by another one of my boys (and girls) stable of voice actors Sean Gambone later on. However even with that in mind this disconnect is the episodes biggest issue: outside of sam, since we see Luna visably struggle in a bit and we’ll get into that then, we have no real investment in seeing the louds get together with most of those people other than because the episode tells us to.  It didn’t really help that Lincoln and Lucy HAD love intrests in previous episodes. And sure Ronnie Anne had moved at this point, but Lincoln had a previous crush before her Cristina to use, and we had an entire episdoe about Lucy having a crush on rocky. And somehow Rocky still hasn’t come back, but his dumbass brother is a recurring character, which if nothing else is my proof that god hates me specfically. Also yeah.. while the crushes all have names I’m purposfully not looking them up as most of them are nondiscrept at best, and the only notable one is LIsa’s crush who looks like a tiny Doctor Octopus..so apparently Otto cloned himself and gave his son black hair? I mean that’s what i’m going with it sounds like the kind of contingincey he’d do and he did die for a while. Twice. Oh and the fact Lily is crushing on a teddy bear which is just really cute.  That being said, the episode DOES get something big right: Doing this kind of stock plot right. I mean “everyone thinks a romantic letter/card/card and flowers’ is for them is a stock sitcom plot and an annoying one at that half the time as the person who sent them comes off as super dumb, or the card has to be smudged or it has to be a nickname or something something, etc etc. Here... while they all think it’s for them, it makes perfect sense for once: They ALL have the same initials, so not knowing which ones which, aside from not Bobby because of reasons I mentoined already and Bear because AS FAR AS WE KNOW he’s not alive... I mean they do live in a house with a 4 year old who tampers with the natural order as part of her to do list every day, so it’s really a matter of when not IF with that.  It also avoids: “Everyone fights and gets petty over it” .. which itself the series has botched at times for other plots, so instead while they all want it to be them and breifly get agitated over it, they instead all work together using the same tactics to try and suss it out. It’s a nice change of pace and part of why this episode works despite the repettition.. more on that later.  Anyways of all of them it’s Lucy who offers the easiest way to narrow it down, knowing how secret admirers work because she reads a lot of vampire fiction and vampires , while inhumanly goregous are also deeply insecure which, having watched all 5 seasons of angel.. yeah that tracks good work. As such she suggests they all send a signal to gage their intrest and if their intrested, they’ll send another letter.  Shenanigans insue, my faviorite being Leni pretending to be a manquin and scaring the shit out of Chaz. Not bad jokes, but we’ll get to more about it later.  The plan actually works and the next poem has a rose and-mentions the targets brown hair, so our bachlerottes are down to Luna, Luann, Lynn and Lisa. It’s also a nice clue for the reveal later. Naturally their all stoked.. except Luna who looks visably depressed. Turns out she never GAVE her signal because she talked herself out of it, thinking Sam’s out of her league. But her siblings quickly all jump in to encourage her. It’s a nice scene. Starting with the easier part to talk about I do love the siblings comradere. Sure they fight, scheme against one another, ocasinally encourage one of their siblings to date a bully or throw him out of the house.. okay the last ones aren’t as typical or easily forgivable but still, the point is despite it all.. they love each other and when it counts, their there for each other. Hell here Luaan, Lisa and Lynn are all directly against Luna, hoping the letter we’ll be there’s.. yet they have nothing but support for her. The rest of her siblings just found out this wasn’t about them.. but the instant they realize Luna is so down on herself she thinks she’s out of the running, they change from disapointi to being her cheer section. It’s really sweet and it’s this among other moments that helps boost the episode up. I also like the special touch of Lori chiming in at the end, not to be lost in with the rest of her siblings, knowing likely that being both the oldest and the only one there having been in a relationship for a while, her words likely carry some weight. The other thing.. is Luna’s character, and how this episode cements self-doubt as a major part of her character. And i’ts a part I really like, a nice contrast from her usual confidence, and most episodes about her afte rthis would zero in on this aspect for good character growth.  So since Lucy was already right, they follow her advice for round 2: Give there crush a token of affection, and wait for at third letter. Which honestly aside from actually giving signals back, she’s not entirely wrong: most “love letter plots” have this sort of rhythm.  Speaking of rhtyum.. yeah this sequence is basically the same one as before just with a diffrent goal in mind.. however I do give the episode credit. In my previous review I spoke about my annoynce at the series love of repettion, and while this episode does suffer for it.. I inflated it in my head that it was worse here. Here the jokes land enough and it does work to the episodes benifit to repeat stuff. Plus here it ends up being plot relevant: After gifts of a pie to the face (Luann), a literal hart (Lisa) and a jock strap (Lynn), Luna has a decidedly less psychotic gift in mind: Her faviorite guitar pic, which even has a heart within a heart and is a very cute gesture... but she once again backs out and accepts not being that lucky. But I also like it because it cleverly shows that it’s not Luna herself that’s the problem: out of the 4 remaning siblings she’s the only one with a valid gift, and it make sense given both her personality and her siblings inexperince. It’s jsut she’s so scared of rejection she can’t bring herself to try.  So the family is familing in the living room when Leni comes in with the final letter from the mail man... and with the final letter admitting to a love of their sounds and all things british, yeah it’s gotta be Luna? So the secret admirer has set up a meting at bangers and mosh, a place that serves british food and is a rock venue. Luna is shocked but happy and the family carry her off.. minus Leni who being Leni wants to make sure the mailman is okay since she tried letting him down gently thinking the letter was from him.  The kids arrive, all coming with for moral support apparently.. only to find their parents. Wah wah wah! In all seriousness, this twist works. With the episode geared towards Luna, most fans probably woudln’t think about their parents or this being some wacky sitcom solution, but the episode gives decent hints: Brown hair, a love of british things , an established trait for Luna as much as Lynn senior, who spent a year abroad, ironically enough revealed in the same ep Luna hinted was bi and all the girls stalked an innocent british person because of course the head writer with a history of sexual harassment would think that was a good idea. Anyways, he also was established to have a band in “House Music”, luna’s other spotlight ep from season 1, So it’ a really good use of continuity, and if you were a diehard fan of thes how or rewatched those two eps a lot, you’d probably be able to figure it out. To their credit though I did not.  Anyways Leni gives out an amaazing line “Sam likes dad?” , Rita, after a bit of confusion at her daughter’s hilarous dumbassery, explains she sent the letter: As it turns out it’s how they met. Now granted you’d think they would’ve told the kids this before but I brush it off as the kids simply not thinking of that: It was a resonable assumption the letter was for them, and none of the letters had anything about Lynn Sr. That didn’t apply to his kids. Anyways, thinking Lynn Sr out of her league, much like her daughter’s current delimma which is a nice touch. ON the third note she asked him to meet her at the very restraunt they are now, celebrating the 20th anniversary of their first date. And to me this little story is just.. really fucking adorable, as is Rita’s love of Lynn Sr.’s pisstake british accent.  Rita, being a great mom, does try and comfort luna hoping she’s not disapointed. However while Luna was at first... her story inspiries Luna to take a risk. After all it worked for her parents, she and Sam could work. She just has to make that move and rallies her family to do the same. We also get one more fantastic gag before we get to the end montage: Lynn Sr: This calls for a celebration! Meat pies for everyone! Restraunt: Yay! Lynn Sr: Actually I just meant my family Restraunt: (grumbles) Lynn Sr: Oh come on theres 13 of us! So we end on one last montage as each loud kid gives their crush a note, some seeing it some not, and for Leni does the manquin bit again, which is adorable. Also the otto kid is apparently not named otto, but in my defense.. I don’t care. So after some genuinely cute bits, we get one last one as Luna leaves a note for sam.. and you see, as you probably know for most of the episode the show hadn’t been specific on which one Sam is, so when it turned out to be one of the girls, it’d be a twist. Of course it isn’t NOW: I called this a saluna trilogy after all and really most people hearing about the loud house probably know about her and Luna but at the time it was a smart twist.
Tumblr media
And I loved it. WHile i’d headcannoned her as bi, there were hints after all, it was, much like the korassmi ending of legend of korra , a plesant shock to have it be REAL. And the ending shot, of luna simling at the above from behind the lockers, is really sweet.  But I also give Nick and the Loud House credit where it’s do. While they weren’t the first children’s cartoon to have an out and out gay/bi/pan protaganist, they were one of the first to not only have a bi protagnist during the context of the show, but to have it be visable.. it was really nice. Even if I do wish they’d use the term bi i’m not greedy and the show to it’s credit, while giving moments like this florish, dosen’t go out of it’s way to pat itself o the back about it’s represenation. The characters who are queer or disabled or POC are just.. there , with enough prominence to be proper representation while not letting that be ALL they are. Now sure at the time of this writing Representation, even within the Loud House itself as it followed up on this, has taken even greater leaps: In Adult Animation we have Harley Quinn having the last act of it’s second season be dedicated to Harley’s emotiona turmoil over being in love with her engaged best friend and said best friend, for now NOT wanting more, a pairing fans had wanted to see played out since the two first met. She Ra had two LEADS angished declartions of loved save teh unvierse and be the emotional climax of the finale. And netflix has gone on to have several gay characters in it’s childrens show on top of that, all leads. But while I think all of tihs would’ve happened without L is for Love, I do still applaud it as a good step forward. Sure the show had Clyde’s  dads’ before, and they are good characters don’t get me wrong, but this was something else and as  Bi person myself.. I really welcome it.  Final Thoughts: Not much to say I haven’t, but overall a realy damn good episode with a hell of an ending that makes use of the repetttion rather than usingit because “Oh shit we have a lot of episodes to get out this season”. Of course we’ll be getting back to sam and luna soon enough with season 3′s followup racing hearts, and with me knowing it’s pride I have tons of review ideas a coming, but for now, reblog this review if you liked it, or just like it if youd ont’ feel like that, send me an ask if you have any other episodes i’d like to cover, or comission one if you wnat to make SURE I cover it, and i’ll see you next time. Later days.

The Loud House Winter Special Review
The Loud House Winter Special is here and it contains several surprises! Before I can give my thoughts on the book, here are the surprises (minor spoilers abound!):
Adelaide and Stanley Chang also makes their first ever appearance in a comic!
Liam gets a story to himself and it’s really heartwarming!
Luan’s boyfriend Benny’s last name is revealed—Stein!
The end of a story contains hot chocolate recipes that sound delicious and make you warm up in a cold day!
Geo the hamster gets a story of his own, told by the Loud siblings themselves!
Finally, Lisa’s friend Darcy Helmandollar makes her first ever appearance in a comic! That’s what I’ve been always asked for!
The bulk of this special volume takes place during Christmastime. With season five underway, Lori appears in a few stories with her siblings at home. (It’s currently unknown whether future volumes in the graphic novel series would adapt to the TV series’ fifth season with the Louds aging up a year [the character introductions for each Loud siblings still show their ages from seasons 1-4] and Lori leaving for college, although it’s always a safe bet she’s spending time at home while on holiday break.) We’ve got great stories, including each Loud sibling building a gingerbread house for Geo (a really awesome one at that), Luan and Benny (stories featuring Luan have always been my favorites!) putting on a puppet show and traded puns along the way, Lisa running a spy operation on Xmas gifts, and a heartwarming story on Liam caring for his freezing cows. We’ve also got stories featuring the McBrides, Lily and Lola, Lucy and Fangs, and Lincoln and his friends! On The Casagrandes side, Ronnie Anne and Sid deal with a pesky lemur on a snowy hill, Rosa and Stanley compete for the best hot chocolate recipe and Adelaide wants to play chef with Sid and Ronnie Anne. The end of the book includes a sneak peek into another special volume in the graphic novel series, Summer Special (due June 2021)!
Winter Special is a huge step up from the previous release (The Many Faces of Lincoln Loud) and all the stories are good—the more, the better! Most of the stories taking place during the holidays could make up for The Loud House Christmas live action film that was supposedly going to debut, but nothing has come up since its announcement. It’s really entertaining, and this could be a great stocking stuffer or present for The Loud House fan.
Minor observations:
Bobby, CJ, Carlos, Frida, and Hector appear on the cover, but none of them plus others who also appear in the character introductions—Becca, Carlota, Maria, Carl, Sergio and Lalo—never appeared anywhere in the book at all. But it’s still cool—it’s an awesome cover!
Where’s Darcy in the character introductions? I like to learn more about her. After all, along with Lisa she was the main focus in the season 2 episode “Friend or Faux?” and made subsequent appearances in two episodes later during season 3. While I’m still happy Darcy finally makes an appearance in a comic, it’s rather short (though I like it a lot) and I would still like to see an entire story with her and Lisa soon! (I hope I don’t sound that I’m nitpicking, but I just love her!)
It’s worth nothing that Stella’s last name doesn’t appear in the character introductions, but the debut of last month’s episode “Kernel of Truth” revealed that her last name is Zhau. Now Liam’s the remaining member of Lincoln and Clyde’s crew whose last name is currently unknown.
It’s really sweet that Lynn Sr. enjoys making puns with Luan—we’ve seen this before several times in the TV series. But I never thought Luan would groan at his puns!
The story featuring Lucy and Fangs closes out the special in a sweet note. Just read it for yourselves. :)

Let’s Talk #TheLoudHouse: Schooled
The show began its fifth season with an hour-long episode that changes up the status quo.
Tumblr media
For a review of “Schooled”, feel free to keep reading. There will be spoilers.
The season begins on the first day of school for the Loud siblings, with three of them going to new places. Lori moves out to a dorm at Fairway, Lincoln enters middle school, and Lily is enrolled into preschool. However, the three endure various struggles as they adjust to their new settings.
Despite a small group of fans complaining about altering the status quo, as well as by fans of a certain recently canceled Nicktoon, the Season Premiere was good. The changes made were not as excessive as many thought they would be but enough to advance the show's loose continuity.
While "Schooled” could have highlighted the entire family going through changes, since this was the show’s first hour-long episode, it thankfully only focused on Lori, Lincoln, and Lily.
For both Lori and Lincoln, they go to new places. Lori moves away from home and struggles to live in dorms, regularly moving around to the point of almost giving up. Lincoln struggles due to being placed in a separate classroom far away from his friends. The episode mirrors the siblings’ conflicts, both wanting to quickly solve their predicaments only for them to keep getting worse.
For Lily, the episode builds up her problem being that of never potty trained. The surprise twist serves as an inversion to the conflicts of her older siblings. On a related note, she received a redesign, now wears clothes, and speaks somewhat full sentences.
A fourth subplot follows Leni, who winds up confusing Lily’s preschool for high school. While a future episode will deal with her now being the older sibling in charge. especially by how she appeared lost without Lori, the subplot helped lighten things up while the three dealt with their problems.
Their respective arcs could have easily been presented in individual episodes, but the expanded format allowed them to interact with one another, such as Lori reacting to Lincoln’s crisis and Leni inadvertently motivating Lily.
The most surprising thing about the episode is how it ends. Rather than revert back to the status quo, such as making it all a dream, the siblings accept and embrace their new respective situations. It helps teach viewers that they can survive any impending changes in their lives.
The ending also serves as a callback to a previous episode; after Bobby and Ronnie Anne moved in “Relative Chaos”, Lori and Lincoln adjusted to the change to maintain their respective relationship and friendship.
When it comes to continuity, it avoided clashing with The Casagrandes. At the time of airing, the spin-off has yet to finish airing its first season which presumably still takes place during this show’s fourth season. Only Bobby appears, referencing his work at the bodega and Sergio, leaving it ambiguous enough for the spin-off to eventually reveal what will happen to him in its upcoming second season.
Tumblr media
There were a few flaws with the episode. The other sisters are mostly ignored, aside from brief appearances by Lynn and Lisa. Rita and Lynn Sr acting like empty nesters was odd since they still have ten other children. Lincoln’s friends fell into a cliche trope where they are not able to work without him, and it felt like it was going somewhere with the concept until he invites them to Canada.
Tumblr media
As for the songs, they were OK.
“Schooled” is a good Season Premiere which manages to successfully change the show’s status quo with a limited focus but a few flaws prevent it from being great. It serves as a good start to what will hopefully be a good fifth season full of new stories which can be explored by the change in the status quo.
Tumblr media
On a related note, it is rare for any Nicktoon to even make it to five seasons. Traditionally, most Nicktoons have ended after three or four seasons. The Loud House is only the ninth to do so and the first since the 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series. With its recent sixth season renewal, the show is now the fourth longest-running Nicktoon, only behind The Fairly OddParents, Rugrats, and SpongeBob SquarePants.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Loud House airs weekdays on Nickelodeon.

Until next time, thank you for reading!

“Don’t You Fore-get About Me”/ “Tough Cookies” Dual Episode Review
Now we’re up to the second set of episodes that aired on the second week of May.
First up is ‘Don’t You Fore-get About Me’.. How did Leni’s attempt to keep Lori from going off to college fare? Let’s take a look..
Loved seeing Lori and Leni bond over magazine questions. Got a good laugh at Lynn Sr. tossing the packages to Lana (who catches hers), Charles and a big laugh when Lisa doesn’t catch hers. Nice to see how happy the other siblings are for Lori’s potential new college.
Was funny seeing Leni trying to get advice from Mr. Coconuts (who doesn’t talk back) and then to Lily. I liked Leni understood what Lily was trying to point out to her.
Was nice seeing Ronnie Anne and her uncle Carlos (and of course Sergio) and to see her reconnect with Lincoln a bit.
Was funny seeing Leni’s attempts to make the campus seem bad only for Lori to correct her. Also a great laugh with Sergio and a bunch of other birds in the pool and Lincoln almost hurting himself getting shots of Ronnie Anne skating. Not to mention Lola critiquing Lynn Sr. about hats..hehe. Poor Leni feeling sad..and yay to Lily for being helpful..hehe.
Also funny seeing Leni try (and fail) to sabotage Lori, especially when she keeps getting holes in one while playing golf.
I liked that Leni came clean and admitted what she had done and I loved that Lori reassured her about them keeping in touch. Got a good laugh at the scene where they’re trying to keep the coach from using his phone. Then trying to rescue the phone only for Sergio to run over it in a golf cart. I liked how understanding the coach was when Leni came clean to him.
I enjoyed this episode a lot. I liked that they explored how Leni would feel when Lori does go to college and her fear of how she would handle it. I liked how it all worked out in the end. And while I thought the Lincoln/Ronnie Anne scenes weren’t necessary for the plot overall, they were fun and didn’t take away from the plot as a whole.
Rating: 98/100
Next up is ‘Tough Cookies’ How did Lincoln and Clyde’s venture into selling cookies fare? Let’s take a look..
Got a good laugh at the reaction Lincoln had when he first tried the cookies from Clyde (as well as everyone else’s reaction). Also liked their little fantasy sequence about them opening up a factory.
Some fun moments with Lincoln and Clyde trying to sell their cookies.. especially to Lynn Jr.’s team and at Lynn Sr.’s restaurant. The vent gag was particularly funny.
Had another good laugh with Lisa talking to them over the walking talkie and they revealing all the surveillance equipment..hehe.
I liked seeing their friends involved, even if they weren’t much help. Wasn’t happy with Clyde telling Stella how to do her job but did get a laugh at Zach eating a bite out of each cookie. Liked Stella’s idea for the conveyor belt (even though it backfired) and I didn’t blame his friends for wanting to quit.
I liked that the boys tried to make amends for being delayed with the orders and that they learned a valuable lesson. And the gag at the end with the vent again was pretty funny.
This was an..ok episode overall. While there were some gags that made me laugh (like the reaction to the cookies from everyone, Lisa ‘spying’ on the boys and the vent gag), there wasn’t much that really wowed me in this episode. Nothing I really hated but nothing too exciting either. This will likely end up on my low end in terms of episodes this season.
Rating: 66/100
That just about does it for these episodes. Up next are the episodes “A Dark And Story Night” and “Feast Or Family”. How will those episodes fare? Tune in next time to find out! :)

Spoilery Terrific TV :: 5 Favorite Watched Things This Week (#2 of 50)
Five things, four times per week. That’s a solid 20 shares per week. And Venti=20, so after three years of doing this thang called Ventipop, at least the name finally makes some sense. Please, enjoy and share. And yes, you’re still a bastard.
The past week was all about Game of Thrones (Night King turned out to be sort of a puss) and Avengers: Endgame ( i bet it’s not). But it turns out, while I really enjoyed both of those viewing experiences, neither of them were the best most shocking or entertaining thing I watched on a screen this week. That honor belongs to the latest episode of Barry. Holy bonkers! Somebody go ahead and give actor, writer and director of the episode Bill Hader a trophy case full of Emmys now. Here are the five best things I’ve watched this week.
1. Barry :: “Ronny/Lily”
I tell you what. It’s been a long time since I watched something and I just sort of sat there in a delirious state of shock the entire time. I love it when shows take a chance and just sort of say, “WTF…we’re doing this.” And I have to think that’s exactly what Bill Hader and the Barry crew had to be thinking the entire time they were having a ball making this off the wall (literally) episode of instant classic tv. Sorry, it’s not tv, it’s HBO.
2. Avengers: Endgame
Avengers: Endgame broke every major box office record this past weekend. It was great. Kudos to Marvel for interweaving and building a storyline over 22 movies. At the other end of the successful movie spectrum, there’s Zyzzyx Road which is considered to be the biggest box office flop in movie history. In 2006, this $2 million dollar movie grossed $30. After watching the trailer, I’m sort of shocked it made that much:
3. Game of Thrones :: “The Long Night”
Yes it was dark. Yes none of the major characters shockingly died. Yes I was a bit tired out by all the fighting and the absurdity of characters somehow surviving against horde after horde of never tiring dead things attacking them. But damned if I wasn’t entertained by one, if not THE, most elaborate and expensive episodes of tv of all-time. Anyone bitching about this Game of Thones episode clearly doesn’t see how extremely spoiled they have become living in this era of peak tv. While I was saddened the Night King was so “easily”defeated, I was also pumping my fist and screaming, “Yes!” when the knife went in.
4. Bosch :: Season 5
So-Called prestige tv is certainly at its apex, but there’s still something to be said for straight-up, straight-forward narrative story-telling. Amazon Prime’s series Bosch is the best at it. It’s old-school, one clue at a time, character-driven police work. There aren’t any twists or supernatural shockers. Just a great fun show every season. Like visiting old friends once a year every year.
5. Ramy :: Season One
Hulu’s newest series Ramy is so far hit or miss with me. The episodes I’ve enjoyed. I’ve really enjoyed. The episodes I haven’t. I really haven’t. I’ll give it a chance because the high points are so high.

Riverdale 3.07 Thoughts *Spoilers*
- Who the fuck would think that Archie and Jughead were brothers? Lmao sweetie no... (side note my niece thinks that Sweet Pea and Jughead look alike and she constantly gets them mixed up and it’s annoying because they’re so different and my baby Sweet Pea could never)
- Saw the voicemail yesterday and sit still bland as fuck. Like, Riverdale still hasn’t convinced me that Jughead and Betty TRULY love each other and then you have a boyfriend calling his girlfriend (who somehow doesn’t realize that his cling ass, co-dependent ass girlfriend isn’t answering his calls, which he knows she would never do to him, and that she’s in trouble. But whatever I’m just glad they’re not currently together because that means this episode has a CHANCE to be good... even though my faves aren’t in it) JUGHEAD WHERE’S THE LOVE AND THE FEELINGS AND THE EMOTION IN YOUR VOICE? LIKE, IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU’RE DOING THIS OUT OF OBLIGATION.
- Archie wanting to send Jughead back just so Betty actually has someone on her side. We love Betty’s future husband and best friend, who cares about her so fucking much!
- “Betty took down a serial killer”? Last I remember she was helping her father clean up his mess but alright. Sure, they got him arrested but that was mostly because he threatened her and Alice (still not entirely sure why though)
- “You can’t go five minutes without getting the crap kicked out of you,” uh yeah the same can go for you, too, Jughead. Penny literally almost killed you. Honestly, I kind of wish they went through with it because I would love to see how different things would be. They could have made the next episode like a dream to Archie or Betty (preferably Archie) not only to trick us fans into thinking it’s real, that he’s really dead, but also it would be interesting to see what would happen.
- So you just come across this convenient random ass farm... and you decide to stay there? I find that so weird but alright Archie you do you
- LAURIE LAKE IS SO FUCKING ATTRACTIVE. FUCK.
- Wow a time where I actually agree with Jughead? WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME RAS STOP
- Jughead’s concerned for Archie... but leaves anyways for... pictures? Nvm Jughead’s still a crackhead lmao Like obvious he finds the symbols but STILL. YOU LEFT YOUR SUSCEPTIBLE BEST FRIEND WITH THOSE ODD WOMEN
- Honestly, farm life would really fit Archie but THIS KISS AIN’T IT BITCH. For a second I thought they were going to have her try and pull another Joaquin. OH GOOD HE MENTIONS VERONICA. But you’re not supposed to tell her your shit, Arch... ARCHIE YOU’RE TALKING TO HER LIKE SHE’S AN OLD FRIEND AND YOU’RE CATCHING UP. STOP.
- Now that I think about it thought, Jughead being off on his own like he used to and is supposed to, it’s really fucking great. I also miss photographer!Jughead (and Toni but she’s lost all personality since getting with Cheryl and i’m PISSED about that)
- Poor Archie, he can’t catch a break, can he? Thanks for bashing him on the side of the head, crackhead
- ARCHIE NO YOU RAN AWAY FROM RIVERDALE FROM HIM SPECIFICALLY. THIS IS NOT A GOOD IDEA. Although, it’s surprising that Jughead suddenly has good ideas because when it comes to the Serpents he would just rather possibly get someone killed/or do something so horrendously stupid that if he died he would definitely deserve it (skinning Penny’s tattoo off)
- So all of a sudden you realize that you can’t hide from Hiram? Really bitch?
- JUGHEAD MENTIONING VERONICA MY JERONICA HEART BITCH
- Oh is Veronica FINALLY leaving like she has in literally all of my stories? I would have figured she would have left right after Archie was placed in jail and went to live with Fred (or took refuge in Pop’s) to keep him company and also give her a place to stay because we all know he would. But i’ll take this, too. Fucking finally
- How can you not like Veronica Lodge, the queen of being the most caring (other than Archie) and supportive woman in Riverdale?
- BITCH MY FANFIC IS COMING TO LIFE. Although I would have thought she’d sleep in her office because I figured she’d get one but this still works!!! Now Jughead just has to come in and find her, then take her in. Obviously that won’t happen but it does in my stories so whatever
- WE LOVE A DEDICATED WOMAN.
- REGGIE!! I love how he’s being her shoulder to lean on I am HERE for Veggie! And it’s cool and all that a Bulldog and Serpent are playing G&G together (even though they’re playing G&G) but who the fuck is this Serpent? I wanna know!!! I love me some Serpents. I still want to know who was in the background in the scene when Jughead and the Serpents go to rescue Betty from Chic’s criminal people who wanted money. But I know we’ll never get that luxury (or even a name drop) despite the Serpents being the best thing on this show besides Choni and Swangs
- So... it’s Reggie who suggests going a bit criminal? At least it wasn’t Veronica because she turned down the casino offer but since it’s Reggie it at least makes sense for him to do so. BUT ALSO VEGGIE YES BITCH WE’RE HERE FOR IT. Oh thank god it’s only for a night...
- If anything happens to Pop’s imma fight. Also how convenient that after Veronica and Elio talk about their illegal activities in front of the portrait she has of herself thanks to Hiram, he shows up. I’m sure it’s about Hermione being worried for her but still.. s u s p i c i o u s.
- Hiram does have a point about her always talking about wanting a legitimate business but now doing the gambling thing, but when people are desperate, they do desperate things so she’s let off of the hook (also because this storyline is a million times more interesting than anything involving Betty or Bughead)
- HA. HIRAM BEING AN ALLY. That’s funny. That’s like Betty being a good person and a good detective it’s not gonna happen
- But you’re telling me that NO ONE else could show up? Not Kevin, Sweet Pea, Fangs, Cheryl, Toni... not even in Veronica’s? I mean, not even shown fucking around with cards in the background? Or maybe Sweet Pea and Fangs standing guard? Honestly fuck you Roberto, the only reason this storyline is good is because it has Veronica and Reggie, and doesn’t involve Betty or Bughead in ANY way. That guy who gave Veronica her favorite drink? THAT COULD HAVE BEEN TONI. IT COULD HAVE BEEN A FUN MOMENT BUT YOU TOOK THAT AWAY FROM US. It’s like RAS knows what would actually be good for us and the show... and then just completely ignores it, then wonders why we’re all annoyed and angry with him.
- REGGIE “Want me to rough him up? Throw him out” I’D LOVE THAT SWEETIE BUT ALSO HE’S THE ONE WHO MADE ALL OF THIS HAPPEN (with V of course) YOU CAN’T KICK HIM OUT OR THERE’LL BE EXTREME CONSEQUENCES
- WE LOVE THE TRUE QUEEN OF RIVERDALE
- I’m still angry that no one else is in this. Like... seriously. I’m very pissed about it and you can tell because i’m bringing it up AGAIN. So much lost potential.
- WE LOVE A GAMBLING QUEEN, VERONICA LODGE, AND HER PROTECTIVE BOYFRIEND/BODYGUARD/BARTENDER REGGIE MANTLE. HE FUCKING CALLED HER V OH MY GOD I’M- THE WAY HE LOOKS AT HER. STOP. THEY’RE SO IN LOVE and it helps because they’re dating in real life. DON’T COME AT ME FOR NOT THINKING THE SAME WITH THE OTHER COUPLE WHO I’M NOT NAMING LMAO
- LOOK AT REGGIE SO FUCKING ENAMORED WITH HER. UGH FUCK ME UP. BOTH VEGGIE AND CHARMILA
- Pop! :((( He’s so pure and innocent. I’m surprised RAS hasn’t tried to fuck that up, honestly. But he does have a point, Veronica should and CAN NOT veer towards the criminal direction of her father or else all of her character development will go down the drain for nothing. And I don’t want that because she’s one of the greatest characters on this show!
- VERONICA DID YOU REALLY JUST SAY YOUR FATHER WASN’T ALL THAT BAD? He gave you inside intel about Elio and suddenly him destroying Archie’s, and your life, just... goes away? He literally is ruining Riverdale. THIS IS SO OUT OF CHARACTER STOP IT RAS QUEEN RONNIE WOULD NEVER. Season one V, maybe, but not season 3. Definitely NOT season 3 Veronica
- Oh Goody... now onto Betty. This should be boring and full of shit
- Elementary? IT’S SO WEIRD HEARING THAT BECAUSE I SAY IT LIKE ELEMENTRY but also this voiceover stuff is funny I gotta admit. But this is how Betty normally acts... except she says her stupid shit to people’s faces instead. She acts all fake and nice and sweet but we know she’s anything but. Thanks for highlighting that in this, RAS.
- LMAO BETTY SAYING “THANK YOU SO MUCH” WAS SO WEIRD BECAUSE THAT’S SO NOT BETTY.
- ETHEL WE BEEN KNEW JUGHEAD ISN’T INTO BETTY. “THIS PSYCHO BITCH” is basically Lili when someone points out that Bughead is toxic
- JUGHEAD ACTUALLY TOLD BETTY? It’s so weird... like I know it’s always Betty who lies and shit but imagine that conversation “hey betty ethel and I kissed for the game and it actually wasn’t that bad...”
- Ethel, Betty acts like she’s better than everyone because she knows shes’ not.
- For an investigator, Betty.. you’re really slow. Also “bite me” is ALICE’S THING NOT YOURS SO STOP YOU’RE NOT EVER GOING TO BE HER.
- For Betty i’m surprised she didn’t go into the room after the girl screamed because Betty, like Jughead, is stupidly impulsive.
- “Real friends don’t kiss each other’s boyfriends” she really calling herself out isn’t she. BETTY... THAT’S EXACTLY WHAT YOU DID. TO VERONICA. But I mean you guys shouldn’t be friends in the first place, you don’t deserve Veronica. She never should have gone ooc and apologized to you for NOTHING
- WOW THE WRITERS ARE LITERALLY FUCKING SHADING US WITH ETHELHEAD. I mean obviously it was a joke in the first place but hey at least we get to see Betty’s real bitch side. You know, the normal, annoying ass Betty that somehow everyone seems to think is so cool and feminist when she’s the opposite of that?
- SO RAS HAD THE OPPORTUNITY FOR ETHEL TO FUCKING PUNCH BETTY AND HE DIDN’T TAKE IT? I WOULD HAVE LOVED TO SEE BETTY ACTUALLY FACE CONSEQUENCES. Besides we know that Ethel is compulsive and stupid as well (milkshake for Veronica)
- So... you’re not going to check the rest of your file just in case? And does she really think they wouldn’t have checked the place after Cheryl escaped? Betty’s fucked. RAS would never let an opportunity to make Betty miserable so she can be rescued go.
- “I was lost again.” Betty... this is why you’re not the Serpent queen. THEY’RE NOT GOING TO FALL FOR THAT SHIT AGAIN BETTY JESUS FUCKING CHRIST
- I know I should feel bad for Betty... but honestly... I kinda don’t. I mean, I know she needed proof but why didn’t she get herself in trouble to see the GK? Now we’re going to be forced to watch more Bettydale and I don’t care for it! Give me the Serpent, Veronica, Archie... something that actually is more interesting. No one likes Betty constantly having to be saved because she COULD save herself but she makes stupid ass decisions.
- Also I’m so mad about the mistreatment of Ethel. Like, she was innocent and kinda nice I guess in season 1 and now she’s this fucking apprentice to the GK
- Ugh watch the GK somehow be Hal so that this has even MORE to do with Betty. Now she’s gonna be saved and then have an even larger ego and god complex and i’m just not fucking here for it.
All in all... the only interesting thing to happen, truly, was Archie and Jughead’s part. Veronica’s showed her normal, bad assery and i’m glad but it also is trying to demonize her and bring her back to “criminal daughter” who Betty will definitely act better than and show that she thinks she’s all that. I just... Betty Cooper and how she’s so high on this goddamn pedestal has ruined the show. The only reason i’m watching is for literally anybody else. Betty and Bughead need to fucking go if RAS wants people to start watching again. I get too invested into characters and I can’t leave but that’s not the case for others.
It’s like he sees everything we write, what we want, what we hate, and then he just... ignores it and figures out a way to make Betty even more insufferable. Honestly, I want to like Betty but right now I wouldn’t mind if she just fucking went crazy, got actual help, and had to stay off of the show for a season or two and force Jughead to realize how shitty they are together. I want the best for this show PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NOBODY WANTS BUGHEAD. It’s all just to piss off other ship’s fans, to give them less shit while you focus on Bughead. PLEASE. STOP.
