Some notes:

RPG!Scry acts mostly reasonable around everyone who is good at utilising magic or is very knowledgeable about it

She might even give them tips if she thinks they'd do really well on the path of magic

Which is why when she & Axel met, it struck everyone as a surprise that she was particularly hostile towards him, almost immediately

Perhaps its related to something divine, who knows

Instilled In Me (A Forgotten Duty?)

She tossed the instrument towards him without so much as a glance at where she was throwing it. It didn't matter, they caught it anyway.

“...I didn't mean to.”, was their response as he gripped his lute, cracked and perhaps a little worn out but…

“Did you…fix this?”, last he checked, their precious lute had been shattered in the skirmish. And judging by the minute traces of black goo, it was likely her patchwork.

The being in question remained silent for a moment, “...Instruments are difficult.”, she grumbled in a low tone.

Out of all the broken things she ever had to fix in her messy, unpredictable life, she never imagined she’d scratch her head over how to fix a musical instrument. Though, perhaps she also felt a pressure to return the lute to its original grace.

One still befitting of this bard.

Disheveled and messy as they looked, his eyes never seemed to lose that light. “Well, I would say more but I…doubt you wish to talk at the moment”, came their voice again. She scoffed before looking around to see if there were any more threats nearby.

She had already dealt with about 17 of the cultists, currently sprawled on the ground around them, mutilated, mangled and very clearly ripped apart through precise strikes.

She must’ve been angry.

“We should get going.”, she huffed as she quickly grabbed the bard’s arm and pulled him along, gentle yet firm. They examined her quietly, for someone having gone on a minute massacre, she was suspiciously clean of blood, that was expected of her though.

After a thorough check up from essentially everyone from the party, Marcus sat down for dinner. He was tidier now, fresh and patched up too. They were honestly relieved that the others weren't bothering him too much. Personal space is just as important as concern for your friends.

“I assume our resident jellyfish will remain where she is?”, came a tired sigh from Allegra once a few folks noticed one was missing. Marcus looked at the witch with slight confusion, “Ah, she’s become more distant ever since you vanished. I overheard her muttering something unintelligible several times during your absence”, that response did soothe their slowly growing worry.

It's reminiscent of her behaviour from when they first met. But by the sound of it, the degree of the action had become intensified. Perhaps he should talk to her. She always had a particular soft spot when it came to them.

The dinner went by without much disturbance.

“It’s sort of funny to me.”, the bard blinked at her, sitting at a distance from where she sat, the only times he'd ever seen her as a partially melted pile of goop were when she was partly asleep or unconscious so to see her in this state while she was fully awake…

They waited for her to continue, the moonless night oddly silent as not even the wind dared to make its presence known. It was almost as if something could go wrong any moment, but nothing would ever come of it. That suspense in the stillness of their surroundings made things feel tense.

The silence was unwelcome.

She sucked in a breath, “I saw it.”, he awaited her continuance, “Beforehand…I mean.”, with every pause, the silence that came with it was almost more unbearable than the previous.

“I could've warned you.”, she paused, "But noooo, I thought it was some stupid dream or hallucination or something that folks get at random-”, her words slipped fast, but her wavering voice gave way to a slow uncertainty. “I saw the future and I thought it was a lie.”, she sounded disappointed. Upset. Furious. Confused?

“...I wouldn't say it's your fault. I doubt most others would realise if they had a vision of the future until it had already come to pass”, came his words, silken and true.

“How does that make my inaction ok?”, and how could she say she knew? Their eyes watched her softly, her tentacles were sharpened and yet they lay flimsily, her form dripped like a sad blot of ink. It almost looked like she was crying, in a way. Her voice shook lightly, her tone? Indiscernible from rage.

With a breath of their own, he chose to comfort, “...Even if that were the case, I wouldn't blame you for what happened.”

Things had lightened up a bit, tensions had decreased and certain relations were being mended, slowly but it was progress.

It'd been a while since they all relaxed like this.

Scry was making a flower crown, an odd choice for an activity considering the area they were in had a lot of venomous plants, most of which represented themselves as mesmerising flowers.

“If you were not immune to venom, I would've been concerned”, came that familiar voice, chuckling away, as they approached from behind her.

“Yeah yeah pretty face, I get it.”, she snorted, still facing her vaguely dangerous project. Marcus laughed in response, “Seriously though, I’m surprised you’re not snacking on them, it's unlike you”, they hummed as they stood nearby.

He would go near her but she was sitting in the middle of a venomous patch of plants and they'd rather not deal with any uncomfortable and or possibly dangerous side effects from touching those plants at the moment, thank you very much.

“Say, did you get your lute to a professional yet?”, she mused after a comfortable pause. The high elf blinked, “Ah, not yet”, came a simple reply, “Why not? Wouldn't it be better if you got it properly fixed?”, she briefly put her flower crown down, looking to where Marcus stood.

The sunlight filtered through the leaves, chirping and rustling filled the background but nothing felt out of place. The elf sighed, “For reasons”, that caught her attention. “Uh huh. And for what reasons? That lute is rather important to you for several reasons so I don't see why you’d want to delay a proper fix”, he anticipated that response.

And so he huffed, “I feel as though you’d prefer if I invited you to watch my lute be repaired”, they smiled. Now that was-

“Are you sure? I’m not quite welcome around most repairmen”, she snickered, “Scry, please”. The excuses this lady came up with at times.

“I suppose that was a learning experience”, Scry huffed as she floated next to Marcus, currently tuning their lute, “I still don't get why you wanted me to come along for something so mundane”, that caused him to snicker.

“I’d say you’re doing this on purpose but it's not unlike you to be in denial at times”, “HEY, WHAT DOES THAT MEAN MISTER?!-”.

The laughter and banter was cut short by a burning question however, “Though, if I may clarify”, the jelly-creature stopped floating as she turned to him, “How could you tell what you saw was a premonition?”. Questions like these, ones that questioned her about her nature, her abilities, they were mostly a gamble when it came to her. Avoidance or bluntness? They never knew.

“It felt like I had many of those before. Like I was used to having premonitions or something”, ah, so it seems blunt straightforwardness it is. “Though, that was my first premonition ever so I’m not sure why I felt like I had had one before”, she seemed calmer, talking about it. Marcus hummed, “Perhaps it's deja vu. Or perhaps, it relates to your past?”, a speculation that held weight.

“Could be the case or maybe it was a one-off thing.”, Scry brushed it off, “Besides, I think we should move past that… uh, embarrassingly emotional moment of mine”. The bard snorted, causing the inky mess of a jellyfish to go on a rant. Her sheepish and embarrassed tone definitely felt refreshing from her usual chaos.

Notes:

I was a bit all over the place with this this time lol

I referenced her old power from back when she was a deity. It returns occasionally, but only when she feels particularly bugged about a situation

Hence why she feels extra guilty because she already felt that the situation that led to Marcus' absence for a bit was SKETCHY. So for her to ignore a very clear PREMONITION ABOUT THAT felt like she betrayed an integral part of herself as well 😔

Also did I mention RPG!Scry likes calling ppl she likes 'pretty face'? Yeah so basically anyone she likes is getting called 'pretty face', end of story

We did a collab with @molamolars when we drew random template, and then we rolled the dice to decide wchich characters we wil draw. (Why drew and draw are so similiar in english nsdiowniowdodiwdio) I drew her characters and she drew mine~ Here are results:

All his favorite Decepticons Cybertronians people have claws. He may also have been hanging out extensively with T!A Shockwave and T!P Soundwave. Just a bit. Team Purple, yo.

Also he hasn't experienced the Kraang yet so claws and reverse leggies are still totally cool.

I was waffling with what to make his alt form and then decided I'd borrow off the gunships he designed in the movie. Other parts like his head and shoulder vents are from his uranium bot from the "Down with the Sickness" ep.
