Logic

Smartsies and cunning, the things she's an adept of! This is the skill that I maxxed first for her, and oh dear the work actually got paid off in the end! (Kiava Gamma end project) which was very helpful. Intelligence is her primary stat and it shows. (she'll eventually catch a meme-virus in her old years trust my word, else why so smart)

Tech-Use

Pasqal got a nice competition there, but they both kinda went hand in hand studying the tech shit together until Pasqal got better than her in the end xdd She's fascinated by the works of machinery and admechs in general.

Lore: Warp (tbh all the lore skills)

The warp flames touched her skin in the explosion, Ruinous Powers marked her with their influence, forever affecting her mental state and whispering in her dreams nightmares, the near-death experience granting a slight sense of understanding of the Warp phenomena, much for her own displeasure.

Honestly, each of the Lore skills share the value as she has a vast Intellect (big brain goes big yo) so they all were in equal expertise in her Int build. And yeah, from the lore point as well, that every other aspect is important and plays it's role in her biz like: Lore: Xenos is work related to operate with Cold Trading, xenoartifacts and stuff. And Lore: Imperium - she gotta know all about the stuff like it's structure, ways and shit, to be a responsible Cold Trader that values their skin and the lives of her associates.

For your Watcher! RT concept, do you believe that RT was created as a watcher when he spawned into the world, or that he was once human (or some other hybrid) that ascended into Watcherhood?

If it's the latter, may I ask the story behind it?

Anyways! I love the art, the way you draw, be sure to take breaks, drink water, and eat and sleep well!

I very much believe he came into existence as a watcher rather than being a player who was made one!

I've been dying to talk about this a little, but I kind of view him as like. The inverse of all of the Grian watcher stories you see around. Like where Grian is typically portrayed as a player who became a watcher and couldn't bring himself to stay because of inherent disagreements with the way watchers interfere with the lives of players. I think of RT as a Watcher born that way who very much loves his job, doesn't have moral qualms with the way they interfere or anything, but still comes into conflict with his higher ups on occasion because he doesn't do it for what they would consider the right reasons.

He's enamored by humanity, their practices, their skills, their indulgences, and their emotions. He wanders around using a human name, wearing hand crafted suits he's picked up from various worlds, playing human games, he prefers assignments that involve a lot of face to face interaction with players, and he has a habit of always getting just a bit too attached. He doesn't care for the burocracy or the actions the higher ups would have him take for their own petty reasons because they interfere with what he feels is the real heart, joy, and purpose of what he does.

It's something I could definitely see him eventually coming enough in conflict with them about to quit, leave the same way Grian does. Except there's an added layer there of like. Grian had been human, he had something to go back to. Dan just. Doesn't. If he leaves what does he have? That's something he'd have to figure out for himself. What is he if not a watcher?

It's an idea I might like to play with at some point after the other project I've got planned for him 👀

Though the huntress had been left in beyond critical condition, miraculously her pulse remained. Shallow it’d been—with the younger survivor struggling to find it with her two fingers, eventually feeling the faint pulsating of a slowing heartbeat beneath them.

No longer had the bloodthirsty one but left in a pool of her own blood—the cool evening breeze unforgiving, but rather back in the cabin where she’d slowly been warming up by the fire, slung over the smaller body of the baller.

The younger survivor, on the other hand, had her eyebrows knit together with worry. She’d done her best to keep a straight face, though as more time passed without the older individuals kept here who knew how to handle such situations, she struggled to hold herself together. Trembling, she kept a keen eye on the huntress—hoping, praying she’d get up, or at the very least open her eyes once more.

She's an Operative/Assassin who possesses a mind of an analyst and does what she do best: she's an adept of reading people, determining their strong sides and weaknesses, then using this for her advantage to strike with the most precision.

Ohhhh, I love it, let's go random facts! :D When Elayne overheard that encrypted conversation exchange between Heinrix and his agent Achilleas Scalander, it surely peaked her curiosity and she couldn't get it out of her head. She found it fascinating and has been almost certain she cracked the code of what they were talking about, so being a highly intellectual individual the encrypted manner intrigued her.

And as they got close enough, Heinrix introduced to her his form of glossia that Elayne quickly picked up. They from now on often used their own glossia cipher that they've been developing further together on the go, when conversing something they deem private or communicating while on a missions, making up a new metaphoric patterns and constructions every time which both of them understand by heart.

P.S btw also lately I've been enjoying Dan Abnett's 'Inquisitor' series SOOO MUCH I'm really digging it. And 'Eisenhorn' trilogy is just insanely good! Please read it if you didn't yet and if you love Rogue Trader's narrative and Heinrix writing especially, it has a similar feel fr.

And it touches topic of the use of glossia really extensively and it's been used quite often throughout the novels, in case if you're also curious how does it work. I just fell in love with it's linguistics formation and I headcanon their glossia form would be even more poetic!

🔧 How were you introduced to IEYTD?

one of my favorite gaming channels, RTGame, played through the first two games (before the 3rd one came out) and i was OBSESSED with his videos about them. i watched his playthrough of Spy and the Liar probably a dozen times and once the 3rd game came out i begged my dad to get the trilogy on our VR, which he did, much to my delight! the videos i watched were pretty spoiler free so i got the full experience. played through all three games in like four days and they’ve stayed at the top of my ‘favorite games’ list ever since

From a distance, Aurelia could not tell the size of the pilot, only that in comparison to the others, they seemed rather... small. And now, at the victory feast, she got a better look at the second-runner up of the tournament. The terribly petite woman, with her silvery hair, pale eyes, and short stature, ought to have been swallowed up whole by the bulky teal and silver armor she wore.

But Violet de Licorne was anything but swallowed. She moved in the armor with ease, the helmet tucked under her arm so that she could wear her crown of cornflowers unimpeded. She extended a hand out to a fellow knight, who gripped it and dragged her in. A surprise laugh was shared, and then a fond pat on the shoulder.

"A shame," Lady Enna said, a hand coming to rest on Aurelia's elbow, "Violet was such a biddable young woman. A tragedy that the death of her father and older brother forced her to take on the burden of the de Licorne Throne Mechanicum."

"It does not seem a tragedy to me at all, Lady Enna," replied Aurelia, casting a sidelong look at her previous minder, before her gaze returned to the small woman, who had turned her face to a window and the sandy tournament grounds beyond. A scar crossed over Violet's eye, a shimmering glint on her pale countenance. "It seems instead that she has found a passion. There is no shame in that."

Well you see. My dear boy's special tarot deck may or may not change depending on the world he's watching at any given time and the roles the players in them play in whatever story he's using them to craft. And he may or may not have been the watcher assigned to Empires. And the whole storyline/project/au/whatever I have planned for him may or may not revolve around the fact that. He may or may not have gotten a bit carried away with the story crafting of Empires. Slightly by his own fault and slightly in an attempt to conform to the requests of his higher ups who have their eyes set on an... adjacent goal. And he ends up the center of some unwanted investigative attention when the absence of the emperors from their other worlds is noticed.

Does Elayne place value in how her protectorate sees her? Does this sway her decisions at all?

She absolutely does. In her life, Elayne always cared about her subjects and subordinates, and it actually goes way back at being a part of the Talon Sydnicate.

Directing a relatively small secluded cartelle of the organization, she knew almost everyone personally and bonded with members of her crew. Being a co-manager beside her sworn brother, together they've established a highly effective chain of command to ensure everything goes out smoothly so every and each link wasn't compromised. She sees mutual trust as a gravely important aspect for her staff and she wants to trust her people in return, so she's doing everything to gain it. If something is rarely going not according the plan or her subordinates are not satisfied with something, she would improvise to get an outcome which leaves both parties happy.

So I think of course she'd carried that knowledge with her. Running a Protectorate on a much grander scale may prove more tricky and overwhelming than running a small organization for her at times. But she tries her best at being a head of the dynasty, to know what people would like to hear and want, what priorities to get into, and of course to always approach thoughtfully, seeking compromise in questions that stand before her and the prosperity of her Protectorate. It's a thing that she's familiar with. So yeah, that's it.
