A trove of long-classified government documents concerning some of the most politically charged killings in modern American history — including the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy — could finally be made available to the public.

But that's just the start of the latest saga surrounding the killings, which have sparked fascination, conspiracy theories, and history-changing debate for decades.

President Donald Trump signed an executive order Thursday aimed at declassifying government documents related to the assassinations of former President John F. Kennedy, his brother and presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, and civil rights icon Martin Luther King Jr. The order essentially requires the nation's security organizations to create plans to release the records.

The full findings of the government investigations into the three killings have been hidden for decades, sparking wide-ranging speculation and preventing a sense of closure for many Americans. All three men were national and international icons whose assassinations — and the theories swirling around them — became the stuff of books, movies, controversy, and the pages of history itself.

“A lot of people were waiting for this . . . for years, for decades," said Trump in signing the release of the documents. “Everything will be revealed.”

Tragedy in Dallas: JFK assassination on Nov. 22, 1963

The shock of President John F. Kennedy’s assassination in 1963 still echoes more than half a century later.

John F. Kennedy, known for both his glamour and steering the country through the closest it ever came to nuclear war, was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. He was shot and killed as his presidential motorcade brought him along a downtown city street and as he waved to adoring bystanders from the open-roofed car.

Police arrested Lee Harvey Oswald less than an hour later. But Oswald himself was killed on live TV just two days later as police were transferring him to a county jail.

Oswald’s killer, Jack Ruby, acted alone on an impulse, the President's Commission on the Assassination of President Kennedy, known as the Warren Commission, concluded. The commission ruled that Oswald also acted alone.

The JFK assassination sent the nation into mourning and shook it to its core, as Americans searched for answers. Hundreds of books have been written and documentaries produced, with bits and pieces of information emerging to this day.

Many regard the commission’s work as a government-orchestrated coverup and doubts have been raised over who killed John F. Kennedy have persisted. Conspiracy theorists lay the blame on everyone from Cuba — at the heart of the nuclear missile crisis — to the CIA itself.

The wide-ranging theories over Kennedy’s death - how many shooters were involved, how many bullets - became so ingrained in popular culture that they made it onto the comedy series Seinfeld.

MLK assassinated in Memphis, April 4, 1968

King, whose work furthering the Civil Rights Movement is honored with a federal holiday, was killed on the balcony outside his motel room in Memphis, Tennessee.

The Atlanta preacher was visiting the city to march alongside striking workers. On the evening of the assassination, he was preparing to leave for dinner at the home of a local minister.

He stepped outside to speak with colleagues in the parking lot below and was shot in the face by an assassin. James Earl Ray, a 40-year-old escaped fugitive, later confessed to the crime and was sentenced to a 99-year prison term.

But Ray later tried to withdraw his confession and said he was set up by a man named Raoul. He maintained until his death in 1998 that he did not kill King.

A Memphis tavern owner and a former FBI agent both also claimed a figure named Raoul was behind the killing, according to the Department of Justice.

Loyd Jowers, a former Memphis tavern owner, claimed 25 years after the murder that he participated in a mafia-linked conspiracy to kill King. Jowers also linked Memphis police and Raoul to the assassination, the Justice Department said.

Donald Wilson, a former FBI agent, also claimed in 1998 that after King’s assassination he found some papers in Ray’s car that mentioned Raoul as well as figures linked to the Kennedy assassination. Wilson said the papers were stolen from him by someone who later worked in the White House, according to the Justice Department.

RFK killed in Los Angeles on June 5, 1968

Robert F. Kennedy never achieved the political heights of his older brother. But he was no less a beloved figure for his championing of civil rights.

He served as his brother’s attorney general and as a senator. He was killed in Los Angeles where he had gone for the California Democratic primary, just months after declaring his presidential candidacy.

The younger Kennedy spent the evening of the election at a suite at the Ambassador Hotel awaiting election results. He eventually went down to a hotel ballroom to thank supporters, then went through the hotel kitchen after being told it was a shortcut to a press room.

An assassin, Sirhan Sirhan, killed him as he shook hands with a hotel busboy. Sirhan remains in prison.

But some believe the same elements behind the older Kennedy’s assassination also killed the former senator.

The presidential candidate’s son Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Trump’s pick to run the Department of Health and Human Services, has long maintained that Sirhan didn’t even shoot his father. The Trump cabinet pick believes Sirhan missed and that instead his dad was shot by a man linked to the CIA.

Even as a young kid, the forest always creeped you out. With all the urban legends about monsters roaming around, hunters disappearing or ending up gravely injured, it certainly didn’t help your bias against it.

So imagine your horror that your older brother, Izuku wanted to take you on a little expedition in the damn place. You and Izuku were orphaned, but were generously taken in my Toshinori, head hunter and beloved icon of your town.

Whereas you preferred to stray clear from all the gritty things hunting entailed, Izuku was fully invested in it.

“I wanna go home, please Izuku?” You asked, hands tightly clutching your clothes.

The moon hung overhead, sounds of chirping from birds, water flowing through streams and crunching of leaves highlighted your surroundings.

Izuku looked at you, his hand reassuringly patting your H/C locks.

“Don’t worry Y/N! Just one more thing and then we can go back.” He said, handing you the lantern.

You frowned as the two of you walked on. One thing Izuku noticed was how pungent the air was over here, it reeked of venom and rot. He cracked out his notebook from his satchel, quickly writing it down. “How weird.” He muttered, you huffed.

Toshinori once recounted his encounter with a naga once, who was bold enough to attack him head on. Long fangs, red eyes that rivaled rubies, shaggy blue hair.

Many legends circulated about this particular naga, especially about his thirst for destruction and murder. Izuku looked down at you, a friendly smile on his face.

“Probably not, it’s probably just some poisonous frogs or something. But even if it was, I would never let them hurt you.” He assured, you felt a little better.

“We’ll sock them in their faces and skin them for boots!” You announced, Izuku nervously smiled.

“Probably not sis.”

Another notable thing about naga is how some tended to hunt at night, at least Tomura Shigaraki did. The most feared creature in the jungle, by man and beast alike.

It didn’t help that he was accompanied by his equally violent and dangerous mate, Dabi. A alluring, handsome creature but equally deadly.

Blue and black scales slithered across the floor, as the two searched for a late night snack. “Seriously Tomura, I don’t know why you insist on doing this at night. It’s too damn late for this.” Dabi complained, Tomura regarded his mate with a mere look.

“The big and juicy rabbits tend to come out at this time of night. Besides, those stupid, fucking hunters drive away our larger game.” He said, sniffing the air.

Dabi shrugged, his mate did have a point. Possums, sloths and the occasional taste of human flesh wasn’t cutting it. “I thought that those dumbasses would take the hint from the last time.”

Shigaraki gave a raspy chuckle. He really outdid himself that time, they still had the chunk from the hunters leg in the den! “You’re quite the sadistic bastard.” Dabi said in a loving way.

“Which is why you mated with me~” Shigaraki taunted, nuzzling Dabi’s face before narrowing his eyes and sniffed the air again.

“What? What do smell?” Dabi asked before sniffing the air himself. Humans, filthy humans. Shigaraki loathed them, Dabi loathed them.

The two followed the scent, eventually finding themselves in a tree, spying on you and Izuku.

“Oh, it’s Toshinori’s brat.” Shigaraki hissed, his rattle shaking slightly. His hate died down a little once he saw you, clutching onto Izuku’s hand as he gave you some facts.

Oh, how you looked utterly adorable to him. Shigaraki and Dabi had been wanting some hatchings of their own, as nagas tended to feel that way. “She’s precious.” Dabi muttered, a paternal spark igniting in him.

Shigaraki nodded, turning towards his mate. “I’ll go greet our guests.” He said, slowly slinking into view.

“Well now, it’s a hunter in training!” You froze at hearing the raspy voice, Izuku flinched as well. He turned around and was met with the sight of the naga. “GAH!” Izuku yelped, nearly dropping his lantern as you gave a yelp.

“Now now, there’s no need to be scared.” Shigaraki said, Izuku frowned whilst you hid behind your brother. “I’m a friend, always eager to assist with a weary traveler.” He assured, his red eyes looking at you.

You whimpered and hid behind Izuku. “Aw, what’s a little cherub like you doing out so late?” Tomura cooed, Izuku cleared his throat. “Back off, we don’t need your assistance. Besides, we all know what you really want.”

Shigaraki’s eyes narrowed, Toshinori sure knew how to raise a stubborn brat. “Oh? Would you mind telling me then?” Shigaraki taunted, inching closer to Izuku.

Their noses barely touching. Izuku could smell the venom from Shigaraki’s breath, he remained firm. “Tsk, tsk, so stubborn.” Shigaraki said, his tail prodding at you softly.

You yelped as Izuku stood protectively in front of you. “L-leave us alone!” He snapped, Shigaraki didn’t flinch, only giving an amused look.

“You must be so tired, let me fix that.” The naga purred, inching closer from his branch perch. Izuku instinctively stepped back as you hid behind your brother. “No need for the fear fawns, you’ll fear as right as rain once we’re through..” Shigaraki assured, his voice raspy yet sweet. Like candy covered poison.

Shigaraki had a variety of powers but his most useful one was hypnosis. Often used to ensnare his victims into a state of calmness. It was his method to use if he was feeling lazy. Izuku stepped forward, a dagger in hand. Oh, how naive was this poor boy? No worries, Shigaraki and Dabi could make it right.

Izuku attempted to speak but nothing came out, his body felt heavy, all thoughts of resentment, escape and fear slowly melted away. It was like he was trapped inside his own body. His mouth felt unusually dry, like it was stuffed with cotton. Yet, he felt nice? Oddly relaxed even. His joints went relaxed and posture was lazy, his legs felt like jello.

“Izuku?!” You cried, tugging on your brother’s clothes. “Zuku!” You helplessly whined. Shigaraki frowned before inching closer, Izuku couldn’t hear you. He stumbled around like a newly born deer before ultimately dropping his weapon and almost collapsed to the floor himself. If it wasn’t for a black tail with horrifying purple scars, which caught him with ease, it wrapped around your brother’s torso. Much to your horror, you attempted to run but Shigaraki tripped you and swiftly coiled his tail around your ankle. The flaky and rough scales dug into your skin, causing you to whimper and wince at the pain.

“Don’t worry fawn, he’s alright and soon, you’ll be too.” Shigaraki said, quickly ensnaring you in his power as well. You weakly fought back as your defiant words withered away into weak whines and squirms. Your body eventually succumbed to Shigaraki’s control, your vision hazy and eyes droopy. “Zuku..” You muttered softly. You wanted to go home, the smell of the venom and dirt made you sick.

You craved the crisp vanilla and poppy smell of Toshinori’s manor. To be tucked into your bed, surrounded by the comforts of knowing that the monsters couldn’t get you.

“Aw, my sweet hatchling.” Shigaraki crooned, picking you up and cradling you. He nuzzled you, obviously excited to bring you to his nest. Dabi joined Shigaraki’s side, a lazy smirk on his face.

“She’s quite precious.” He mused, kissing Shigaraki’s cheek. “But, what about her brother?” The two looked at Izuku, who was still in Dabi’s grip. The black haired male frowned. Izuku kinda reminded him of someone he desperately wanted to forget. Shigaraki handed you over to Dabi before taking Izuku in his own grip. He regarded his mate with a devious smile, his fangs on display and crimson eyes filled with satisfaction and plotting.

“Well, you know what they say, two is always better than one.”

Then, Ruby entered.

Her presence immediately drew attention, which she was impossible to ignore. Heads turned as she glided past, her gown catching the light in mesmerizing patterns. She felt the weight of the stares but held her composure, her eyes scanning the crowd for a familiar face. Instead, her gaze landed on Felix.

And for a moment, the world stopped.

Felix felt a jolt, like a spark igniting deep within him. It was a fleeting moment, a mere second when their eyes met across the room. Yet, in that second, the world seemed to pause. Felix felt his breath hitch, his surroundings blurring as his focus locked on her. Ruby, too, felt an inexplicable pull, a strange magnetism that sent a shiver down her spine.

He offered a small, hesitant smile and to his surprise, she smiled back. Before he could overthink, Ruby began making her way toward him. His pulse quickened as she approached, her confidence both intimidating and enchanting. When she finally stopped in front of him, she extended a hand, her smile teasing yet warm.

“Felix from Stray Kids, right?” she said, her voice low and melodic, carrying the faintest hint of amusement. “I’ve heard a lot about you.”

Felix took her hand, his own slightly clammy from nerves, and shook it gently. “And you're Ruby Kim. It’s an honor to meet Korea’s Rock Princess in person.”

Her laugh was soft, almost musical.

“You flatter me,” she said. “But the honor’s mine. I’ve seen your performances, your energy on stage is incredible.”

Felix felt a blush creeping up his neck. “Coming from someone like you, that means a lot. Your voice… It’s something else. I’ve been a fan for years.”

Ruby tilted her head, intrigued. “Really? I didn’t think an idol would be into rock.”

Felix chuckled. “I’ve always had a soft spot for powerful voices and meaningful lyrics. Your song ‘Ashes in the Rain’ got me through a rough patch a couple of years ago.”

Her expression softened, a flicker of vulnerability crossing her eyes. “That’s one of my more personal songs. It means a lot to hear that it resonated with you.”

Just as Felix was about to respond, one of the fashion show workers approached Ruby and showed her to her seat. Ruby shot him a final glance and said a quick goodbye to Felix before following the woman, leaving Felix with a lingering sense of something unfinished.

This one speaks for itself but imma yap anyway. Kara aka supergirl aka one of the fastest people on the planet, flies Lena to the DEO in her human clothes instead of taking 0.5 seconds to change into her supergirl outfit, risking not only exposing her identity to Lena, but to the rest of the city and everyone who works at the DEO (assuming they dont all know already).

Alex doing her doctoring stuff while Kara looks on incredibly worried. Stuttering whenever Alex asks any questions.

The instant Alex needs something Kara provides. Kara: "I can do it, let me do it."

this scene where we have our two couples on their respective couches while Sam opens up to them about the health stuff she is dealing with. Then supercorp + alex assure her that they are there for her and are a family. That they wont let her deal with it on her own. ugh my heart. (plus the monologue odette gives in this scene is *chefs kiss*)

Kara checking up on Lena. Kara could tell something was wrong earlier but sam and alex showed up before lena could tell her what was wrong so here she is, checking in again. refusing to let Lena close herself off. Lena opens up about a fair bit in this scene and Kara never makes her feel bad for the things she confesses. She simply supports her.

This iconic moment between them. Kara: I'm professionally crafty. lena: *stares at Kara like she is a whole meal*

Kara: "thats what friends are for, we get each other through the dark times" then lena immediately tells her that M*nel is back, no secrets policy type stuff.

Alex tells Sam she isnt dying of cancer or anything and they are all relieved except Sam because if it isnt something medical then wth is wrong with her?? She leaves and they reiterate that they will figure it out, together. They're all dressed so soft in this scene + Lena with her hair down 🙌🙌

I ended up rewatching the entire episode while getting the clips to make these gifs and oh my God I forgot how well fed we were back in season 3!!!

3x12 in particular because we got loads of supercorp, loads of agent reign, AND 2 scenes of super agent reign corp!!

Not to mention how fabulous they all looked throughout the entire episode!

I will never ever understand why they didn't put Alex and Sam together!!! They had so much chemistry and Alex had great chemistry with Ruby, Sam's daughter! And they came right after Alex and Maggie broke up over the whole kid thing!! Yet another missed opportunity from this show!

(I do want to state here that I do love Kelly and obviously I love Esme but this was before them so we're not talking about them lol)

I wanted to share my submission I did for an Amino sever: a movie poster for my Zelda AU, "The Legend of Ruby: Elements of Nature."

Why This Project?

You might ask, why this AU? Well, originally, I was planning to make a comic out of it. But as I kept developing the story, I thought, why not turn it into an animation? That idea really sparked my creativity and gave me the perfect excuse to create a movie poster for it. Honestly, I couldn’t resist the chance to bring my vision to life in poster form!

The Process

Creating this was a mix of fun and challenge. I started by visualizing the iconic triangular structure inspired by the Triforce, which is central to the Zelda universe. Each triangle represents a key character or element in my AU.

For the designs, I wanted to capture the personalities of the three main forces in the story. The glowing weapons you see symbolize their power, and the character silhouettes inside the triangles are meant to add a sense of mystery.

The tools I used were IbisPaint X for the artwork. When I do the animation, I will use KineMaster. It was a great learning experience blending artistic styles and making the design in a different way I normally do.

This project has been so exciting to work on, and I’m even more motivated to explore my AU further. Who knows? Maybe one day this poster will promote a full-blown animation! And of course in this animation will also be voice acting...
