I would have loved to see Penny survive not only for nuts and dolts to be canon but also for Penny and Jaune to have a siblings energy friendship

Yes please !! I'd love more of Penny just having connexions with other people, and Ruby being happy to see her bond with others ♥

She has a great dynamic with Jaune, even if he mostly was with her to help her in V8, I'd love them to become closer after what they all went through

I also loved Nora and Penny's bond, I'm so SAD it got developped during V8 a lot only to be cut short because Penny died, I remember Nora being like "I hope Penny's gonna be okay" when they went to the vault and my heart is,,, in pain

Nora also helped Penny a lot to fight the virus and remember who she is ! Ruby is the most important person in Penny's life with her dad, but everyone played some part (even if I admit I was a bit disappointed during V9 in WBY's not seeming to care that much about her, except that time when Weiss tried to talk about it to Ruby, or they only dealt with it in different ways, but still-)

But anyway, if Penny had to come back (delusional team yeey) I would love to see her other relationships developed. Same with Winter, and even Maria who tried to protect her and understand her struggles.

Fair Game Week 2023 Day 3 - Sunset

Soon as I read the wip for this fic, I knew I wanted to draw it. Upside down kiss my beloved... But not just any upside down kiss, it was the way it's described in your writing, friend, that made me so intent on drawing it. The easy atmosphere you paint with words as hands seek a warmth known so well, the comfortable intimacy between husbands, always gets me. So thank you for writing, because it spawned this! Yes, I know your fic was inspired by another drawing of mine, and I'm still all sldkfLKDSFHSFD wailing at you for that because wehhhhh help how dare you be so wonderful :'))) But also hot DAMN those are a lot of words, so I'm also still losing my mind over that too, and I hope you know how much I adore it and you ♡

I think it's very good that both Penny and Oscar:

are associated with green and orange but also gold

share souls with an older parental figure who can take control of their body, changing their eye colors in the process, and both of them don't like this very much

have hereditary powers bestowed on them

have identity and self-discovery as a central theme in their narrative

have trust and faith as the core of their Atlas arc narratives

are both treated by puppets by the bad guys, to the bad guys' detriment

Bonus:

they're both in a polyamorous relationship with Ruby Rose uwu

(i was always Very Emotional over their parallels, but then i saw @aspoonofsugar pointing out that Penny's aura color when she gets a human body is GOLD and I haven't been the same since).

Continuing from my last ask, Jaune just avoiding Penny cause of what he almost had to do and doesn't want to be a possible threat and Penny trying to assure him it's okay

As much as I'd love Penny to bond more with others, I also love the ideas of struggling with everything that happened to her. Jaune being scared of messing everything up and maybe be overprotective, just like Ruby being overprotective too. Basically Winter, Nora, Pietro, being scared for Penny as well, having to trust her and to learn to let her do her own choices and to be FREE. Learning to not tell her what to do, outside of Huntress work, and even that is supposed to be hers. I'd love them to just have to learn to not give her orders or decide for her. She's smart, she's not that naive, I'd just love her to be free
