I LOVE your meta where you say that there's more of the flood and that's when you think they kissed. We got another part of 1941 so we could get more of another scene but do you really think they will? I want it to be a long time ago so much.
Yes. I mean, obviously I don't know because I'm neither involved with GO nor psychic lol but if you asked me to put money (or, worse, my book collection) on one predictive thing I've said on here, I'd put all of it on the ancient times vavoom. At minimum, I'd say it was a bonkers amount of time ago but I'm pretty sure for a few reasons that there's more of The Flood coming in S3 and that it was then. A kiss isn't even the only thing we could see from that part of the timeline, actually, which S2 suggests with the Job minisode, and is another reason to think we might revisit The Flood... we're missing the first time that Crowley called Aziraphale "angel."
We all know Crowley's been calling Aziraphale "angel" for awhile and we know that Aziraphale knows it doesn't just refer to his occupation/species but most of the instances we've heard it are in our modern era. If you're looking at how long this has all been going on for though, S2 already knocked the floor out from under us a bit by backdating the romantic "angel" to 2500 B.C. during the Job minisode. So, now, look again at what we've seen of The Flood in S1:
The Flood: "Hello, Aziraphale."
Tumblr media
Crowley barely ever calls Aziraphale "Aziraphale" in GO. He refers to him by his name in front of angels and demons constantly. That is the one time he doesn't call Aziraphale "angel". Probably because he is absolute rubbish at not making it sound affectionate lol. In theory, "angel" is a perfect coded way to be loving towards Aziraphale when they could be overheard and, sometimes, Crowley can make it sound like he's just referring to Aziraphale in the less familiar, despised term and not his name, like it's supposed to sound like. Sometimes lol. (See: "you sound jealous, angel" in the Job courtyard. It's *almost* there lol.) It's supposed to sound mildly dismissive but that demon is mush for that angel so he struggles not to make it just sound like "sweetheart" everytime he says it because that's how he means it. When they're in riskier situations around angels and demons, Crowley doesn't even go there because he knows he can't pull it off and so he just uses Aziraphale's actual name.
The only other times he refers to Aziraphale by his first name is something like when he learns about The Book of Life in S2 and grumbles to himself while alone "Aziraphale, what have you gotten yourself into?" Other than that, there's basically the bit when he's drunk in S1 and isn't actually sure he's seeing Discorporated!Aziraphale or not and whispers "Aziraphale" and there's the above bit from Mesopotamia in The Flood scene, when he shows up and greets Aziraphale by using his name. That's it. Every other damn time, it's "angel", right?
So when he shows up and greets Aziraphale with "hello, Aziraphale" during The Flood scene, that hints that "angel" is not yet a thing in Mesopotamia, right?
So, if it comes later than that, when did it start and... well... what prompted it? Generally speaking, you might have a nickname for a friend you've known for a long time or you might use terms of endearment in a general way with people but neither of those things are the way that Crowley calls Aziraphale "angel." I call my closest friend a shortened version of her first name and I call you all on here things like "my loves" and "babe (platonic)" and you know that I don't know you personally and that we aren't in a relationship lol. It's not tonally the same thing as calling your partner a term of endearment with a more intimate meaning and that's what "angel" is in Crowley and Aziraphale's relationship. By making it so that "angel" wasn't something Crowley was saying in an "angel (dismissive or attempted dismissive way)" that evolved into "angel (romantic)", they're coming out and saying that "angel (romantic)" is all that's really ever been there, with some attempts at making it sound more dismissive if they could be overheard. If it's all that's ever been there, then it had to start at some point and if it's always been "angel (romantic)", then we could assume that some bit of romance might have prompted it.
So, we're saying you can probably track how long their relationship has had a romantic element to it that they've acknowledged by tracking how long Crowley has been calling Aziraphale "angel" and if you start doing that, well...
It wouldn't make sense for it to be when they both were angels so anything pre-Eden is out (plus, Crowley might not really remember it anyway). While Crowley calls Aziraphale "an angel" on the wall in Eden-- "you're an angel, I don't think you can do the wrong thing"-- it's not the same as the affectionate "angel" he has basically made a substitute for Aziraphale's name in the future. So, it's not in Eden and it's not the next bit that we've seen chronologically, which is what we've seen of The Flood since, as we know, Crowley showed up and said "hello, Aziraphale", indicating that "angel" still isn't a thing by what we've seen of Mesopotamia... but then, the next part we see on the timeline is the Job minisode in S2 and, well...
Job: Four. separate. different. instances. of "angel"...
The first is "you sound jealous, angel" in the courtyard when Aziraphale says that demons can do whatever they want. To date, this is technically the first time we've heard this, chronologically-speaking. Only, it's not the first time Crowley's said it as it's familiar to both of them.
This same scene also results in the birth of "Crowley" in the future. It's why Crowley chose to call himself "Crowley" when he changed his name and what makes "Crowley" the same thing as "angel", just in reverse. What's of note there is that S1 gave us the scene at the crucification of Jesus wherein we see Crowley tell Aziraphale that he changed his name to "Crowley" and we don't really fully understand it in S1. We're happy for him. Seems a healthy thing to change his name when he's been through a lot of things. We're happy to refer to him as "Crowley" from here on out, right, but we don't really know what the meaning of his new name is to him or why it seems to have significance to Aziraphale. They don't tell us that until S2, when they give us the Job minisode and are all 'here is the origin story of what Aziraphale has called Crowley for thousands of years' and what does it do? It makes that scene between them in Golgotha kinda smolder, doesn't it? Because now, that scene you didn't have all the information to understand fully at the time is now something you understand as Crowley telling Aziraphale that he changed his name to something only the two of them will ever really understand. That's some passion at The Passion of the Christ, eh? lol
Following the courtyard instance of "angel" in the Job minisode, there's "are you sure, angel?" when Crowley is lighting everything on fire. This one is playful. This one is a little knowing, like he absolutely knows for sure that Aziraphale gets what he's saying and they're both bemused by it. Aziraphale responds that he's "quite sure" and he isn't disappointed. The "angel" here is coded. It's "sweetheart" in the middle of playacting at being demonic and Crowley knows that Aziraphale gets the joke but also for Aziraphale to get it-- for him to hear Crowley saying it here and in the courtyard prior and for him to get the tone of it... to be that sure, he'd have had to hear it before. The first time Crowley said it in the courtyard, it did not sound like it was new to either of them. This started before Job.
Later, there's "Blasphemy, angel? That doesn't sound like you" after Aziraphale says "oh my God" when they run into God talking to Job. This is the first instance of Crowley using "angel" when they're alone and unlikely to be overheard. It's not even an isolated one because then we have the last scene in the minisode and "I'm not taking you to Hell, angel." The Job story establishes that Crowley's just been calling Aziraphale "angel" in every instance where he can make it work since some time prior to 2500 B.C. and we still haven't seen when that began. We've seen the origin story of "Crowley" but they haven't shown us the first time Crowley called Aziraphale "angel" in that way he does... but they *have* told us via the same minisode in which they also explained the "Crowley" origin story that it first began an absolutely ridiculous amount of time ago lol. They've slapped it right down immediately after what we've seen of Mesopotamia on the timeline. They even make Aziraphale and Crowley establish that timeline for us at the start with Aziraphale saying "haven't seen you since... The Flood?" (with the most 'he knows damn right well when the last time he saw Crowley was' tone ever lol) and Crowley agreeing. This means we're missing more of The Flood, which is also hinted at in the plot of Job, which hinges on the idea that Aziraphale doesn't think that Crowley is murderous, which seems like it needs more than just Crowley being like "wow, this is pretty horrible" in his reaction to God's plan to drown everyone in the scene in The Flood that we've already seen.
So, if it's "hello Aziraphale" in what we've seen of The Flood already but then it's "angel" every other word in the Job minisode that follows it, the origin story for "angel" that we're missing is set between those two stories and if they haven't seen each other in Job since The Flood, then there's a The Flood, Part 2... so, if the first kiss was Mesopotamia and it's also the first "angel"... then we're talking about Aziraphale reacting to that first romantic "angel" in the same part of the story as this whole vavoom-y kiss. Every. single. "angel". in the series. is going to be tied to that kiss if they put them in the same scene. What are we all going to do when the secret language, sleight-of-hand show reveals the vavoom they've been stealthily referencing in every other fucking scene for the entire series? lol

Predictions/Things I’d like to happen in S4 of TUA
• In every season, there’s a main villain, such as the apocalypse in S1, the Commission in S2, and the Sparrows in S3. It’s kinda obvious that Reggie is the villain in this upcoming season, but I’m curious if Abigail(Reginald’s wife) will be a big deal. Like, will she be as bad as Reggie or a sweeter version?
• Like I said above, there are different villains, but there are also different locations. The Academy in S1, Elliott’s house in S2, and Hotel Obsidian in S3. My guess is that the main location will be an apartment. Like, I know that sounds basic and obvious, but in every season, the main location is always a homelike place. (Mansion, House, Hotel, Apartment?) It doesn’t seem super far off, and it could maybe be one of the Brellies apartment.
• Their powers!!!!! I’m so curious about their powers and stuff. So, at the end of S4, we see that the universe is reset(I think???) and so are their bodies. They have no tattoos, powers, and Luther’s body isn’t that of an ape anymore. I think that they’ll maybe find their powers somehow. Maybe there will be a fight, or Reginald has their powers with him? Idrk.
• Ever since I first watched the show, I’ve been super curious about the 43 children with powers. Like, we’ve seen 14 of them (The Umbrellas and Sparrows) but that still leaves 29 of them. It’d be so cool if they involved them. Like, maybe they get important in the timeline bc the Hargreeves seek them out for help? We don’t know if other super powered people are there, but it’d be really interesting if there was.
• I’ve seen a fee people on here say that there is a 6 year time jump in S4, and if it is true, how will they explain what happened to everyone? Will Luther be looking for Sloane all the time? How has he adapted to have a regular body? Diego and Lila’s kid will be born and 6 years old and they’ll be together(I hope, I love them so much). Allison has Ray and Claire, but how will she react to this? We know that she was an actor/celebrity, so maybe she’ll be in the spotlight. I have ZERO clue what Klaus will be doing. He’s so unpredictable, he started a CULT in S2, for gods sake. I’m genuine curious what Five will be doing bc he’s an actual genius. I feel like he’ll have gone to some bigwig college and will be actually successful in life. I’ve seen some sources say that the Ben we saw at the end of S3 was Sparrow Ben, and I love that idea. Sparrow Ben is such an asshole, but he’s so hilarious I can’t be mad at him. I feel like he’ll try and live a normal life, but it’d be hard since well…he’s Ben. I NEED Viktor to lead a nice life, poor boy. I think everyone collectively agrees that we need Viktor to play violin this season without blowing the moon up.
• That paragraph was… a lot, but here’s the final one. It is official that S4 will have only 6 episodes, which is so sad, but that just means that things will happen quicker. I really hope that we’ll have longer episodes. Regularly, the TUA episodes are 40-45 minutes long, but I’d love if we could get episodes that are an hour or more long.

Maybe it's an unpopular opinion, but I think the argument that Merlin could have turned Morgana away from evil a) overexaggerates their friendship, and b) underestimates the appeal and manipulative abilities of Morgause. Merlin would have helped her in the short run, but eventually, Morgause would have come into the picture, said and did the right things to manipulate a vulnerable Morgana. Merlin telling her wouldn't have done any good. Morgana would still have remained resentful and angry at Uther's cruelty, ultimately leading to her turning against him by seeking out HER SISTER. Merlin didn't want to kill Uther (for Arthur), unlike Morgause AND Morgana.
Morgana was already isolated and raging against Uther in the pilot. Uther is Uther, Arthur at this stage is almost Uther 2.0, and Morgana stands alone and (she believes) without family. By the time Merlin arrives she's already bitter and angry, albeit justifiably so.
Morgana is drawn into her fate with an inevitability that only the dragon predicts. Her instantaneous connections with both Mordred and Morgause are strong evidence that the forces of destiny are working basically /within/ her. Merlin, on the other hand, is separated from her by status and by the proprieties of gender. Even if he did confide in her, I don't think that would have tempered the radicalising effect of what she saw Mordred suffer through, and the kindred spirit/mentor/family she found in Morgause. Not to mention the fact that the first time she leaves with Morgause after being poisoned by Merlin, she doesn't even go of her own free will - she was genuinely clueless that she was the one putting everyone to sleep so that an invasion could be carried out.  Merlin's persuasive abilities had nothing to do with that situation, and those events are the ones where Morgana is truly removed from Camelot and fully radicalised into the personality transformation that we see between the end of season 2/beginning of season 3. There was very little that Merlin could have hoped to have done to remedy it. By S3, Morgana is a lost cause.
Additionally, Morgana finding out she's Uther's biological daughter was what really pushed her over the edge. I think she would have felt betrayed by that revelation whether Morgause or Merlin were there for her. At that point, she wanted what was rightfully hers. If she had turned to Merlin for help with it, he would not have told her what she wanted to hear, which was try to claim the throne or have Camelot know she was a Pendragon too.
Merlin would never have chosen Morgana over Arthur. And Morgana would never have chosen Merlin over Morgause/the throne.
Telling Morgana would have been a colossally stupid mistake. It can work in the world of fanfiction, where we soften character personalities to better enable development or alternate timelines, but in the continuity of the show and her character, she was always going to end up walking down that path.
Also, Merlin doesn't owe anyone telling a secret about himself that could get him killed - except possibly Arthur. But that's a rant for another time.

Do big miracles preemptively affect reality, including the past?
I think the big miracle each season is following the phrase "Out of sight, out of mind, out of time". Each big miracle in each season seems to affect reality before it happens though.
Take a look at the similarities between seasons. Each bullet point in each season describes the same running thread, ie, the first describes the big joint miracle, the second the running references to that miracle, etc.
S1: Out of time
Crowley and Az take Adam out of time.
Constant references to being late and out of time.
Adam leaves hell, changes reality, removes the time of s1.
Adam doesn't want to rule.
Time ran in the correct order but they were always late, "out of time".
Did taking Adam out of time, and Adam removing time, affect everything in the present AND past to be late, ie "out of time"?
S2: Out of mind
Crowley and Az take Gabriel out of memory, aka mind. He is hidden so they don't know they're looking at him.
Constant references to not remembering things.
Gabriel leaves heaven; his presence snarls time, or does it snarl the memory of it?
Gabriel doesn't want to rule.
Time is messed up and an instance of being early.
Did hiding Gabriel from memory affect everyone's memory, present and past? Is that why flashbacks have elements of the future, like 1941 having Aziraphale's present waistcoat and desk layout? In s1 we were shown that the show we're watching is indeed a show, something recorded by god, like on god's cctv. If time is affected preemptively, then the recording would also be affected. The order we see things would be affected, even if we see things "as they are happening", like on "live cctv".
If the big miracle can reach backward to affect things before it, then does that mean the joint hiding-Jim-miracle should have happened at the end of the show, in e6, instead of e1? Just like the time stop was in e6 of s1?
Predictions for S3
S3: Out of sight
Crowley and Az take Jesus out of ... sight? So nobody remembers he ever existed? Or so that nobody can see him, he's invisible?
References to being unable to see things. We've already gotten some of that with Crowley squinting at stuff and "mass hallucinations" in s1.
Jesus "leaves" earth, finally fixes time.
Jesus doesn't want to rule.
Vision is messed up? Mass hallucinations? Too bright or too dark? Time runs backwards.
Time has been messed up every season, so I think in this last season Jesus will finally put it to rights. It was forward in the first, snarled in the second, so it'll be backward in the last. I am not real sure how the "out of sight" will manifest, or how not-right vision will be realized.
Bonus: face swapping
If big miracle energy causes effects to leech backward through time, does that mean that the face swapping miracle reached backward ALSO? And made Crowley and Aziraphale more similar each other in personality? Or did it mean they shared "essences", and that made them like each other?
If that's true, then they are a chicken and egg problem: did they like each other first chronologically and then swap faces, or did they swap faces first, during some iteration of god's game of life, and then come to like each other on a different go-round? We have evidence that there have been different timelines, different attempts at the same events, which means we've been through these events many times without people knowing they've done it before. A sort of time loop theory. So did Crowley and Aziraphale not like each other in the first go round, swap faces in later iterations, and that caused them to like each other in later iterations? Or vice versa? Or even, did they come to like each other, and swapping faces only intensified that, and that intensity was kept in later iterations?

super early predictions for the show's future that might and probably will change once i rewatch:
Part 1/?
- There are few ways Janet being in Maddie's body could go. (There are more possibilities yes but these were the most plausible in my head)
Maddie gets her body back and continues living her life with the ability to communicate with the spirits
Maddie gets her body back and dies for real
Maddie will allow for Janet to stay in her body and Maddie herself stays in the afterlife
In the 1. case scenario
- If Maddie gets her body back by the end of s2 and we continue onto s3, it's possible that Maddie will still have the ability to communicate with the spirits
-> She was able to see Janet and Mr. Martin before Janet possessed her + she's kind of been balancing between this state of life and death
- That way we could expand on the universe with Maddie having the ability to communicate with all the characters
- Maybe even more living characters develop that ability. Simon can already see Maddie, that ability could expand. Xavier is already on the brink of death as it is so he'll probably be swooped into that world. Maybe.
- One issue though: Maddie and the others are seniors. So it's hard to say exactly how long the show could go on with this line up. Or. Well. It's not like most streming shows last beyond two-three seasons anyway so 😭
- But on the other hand I don't think this show has gotten too far in the timeline. Episode 6 was homecoming which is usually late september/early october (i guess? i'm not from the US 💀). Which means it's probably late october-ish. So there's plenty of time to explore the dynamics within this world if they pace it slowly.
- Although there's only so many months in a school year so even in that case that would leave room for 3-4 seasons at most (which I think is a good length for the show!)
- The timeline pacing applies to the show in general not just this theory
In the 2. case scenario
- Maddie stays in the afterlife and the story expands more on her dynamic with Janet (if she doesn't move on). I mean, she's just been in Maddie's body for MONTHS. That's bound to bring up some complicated feelings.
- Maddie might still have the ability to talk to Simon, maybe even the other characters. The show highlights that living people are able to see the spirits after a breaking point. Maddie actually dying could be that for specifically Nicole & Sandra.
- And for those for whom it necessarily wouldn't be. Like Claire and Xavier. Claire obviously has a tough home life, which can break anyone. Xavier, again, is possibly injured mortally so he COULD die for real -> ability to talk with Claire???
- I'm not a super big fan of this one personally. But maybe!
In the 3. case scenario
- This is my favourite one. It has the possibility to offer conflict, confusion and complications.
- Again, I don't think Janet has any bad intentions. She might want to just run away and/or live the life she lost. Maddie has been shown to be emphatetic.
-> Maddie gives Janet the opportunity to live in her body but in this case they'll settle that Janet will do that in Split River.
- Simon still sees the real Maddie, but to everyone else Janet!Maddie IS Maddie.
-> Being good at school, specifically english, is a big part of Maddie's character. Can't testament to Janet as a student, but she's from the 60's and as an individual has different strenghts to Maddie.
- The differences between the two in general will be a central conflict between the characters
-> Simon will have complicated feelings about interacting with Janet!Maddie. I think he'll help Janet adjust, but it won't be easy. He can only see his best friend at school, and even then ever so rarely. And here's this random girl living in Maddie's body, going about life as Maddie and no one but he knows.
- cue “she's nice, but she's not you” type of line
-> As for Maddie, she'll be fine first. It was her idea, after all. Over time things start getting complicated, though. It'll be hard for her to see Janet interact with her friends, teachers, mom. Maddie doesn't seem like a jealous person but seeing everyone she loves treat someone else as her from the sidelines will be hard for her.
- Maddie will want her body back.
- If Janet truly just wants to live, it might be harder for her to give it back -> conflict ensues.
-> As Maddie's want to come back grows, I think her and Janet's consciousnesses will start fighting for control.
-> The show ends with Maddie leaving the spirit world for good, but there might be remnants of Janet left in her.
the end.
What do you guys think? Any ideas for s2 and moving forward?

Honestly Zari is my favorite legend so I just love all the episodes with a lot of Zari content. I don't remember a lot of the details but there is one major thing that happens in the crossover episode that means you will have to bear through it unfortunately.
9 and 11 are both very important episodes for the series too.
Basically S3 is great, and have fun when you get around to it!
(I am honestly looking forward to your live blog of the finale cause I can already imagine/predict your reactions and it delights me 😆😆)
- your LoT anon
tbh i'm dreading this crossover even more- i really fucking hate "what if the nazis won?" shit. it always feels very America Good (which is absolute bullshit, especially wrt ww2 where we were mostly just committing war crimes in the pacific theatre) and glosses over the atrocities that happened in the "good" timeline.
i'll make sure to not hold back during the finale, then 😝

Will there be any new S3 content on 25 March?
Within the fandom there is speculation around what - if anything - may be released on the second anniversary of Season 2.
The promotion timeline for season 3 has been unpredictable, and with it releasing in two parts it is not easy to predict how it may go, but below are my thoughts on what may, or may not, be released on 25 March.
Main Poster / Book Cover: This is a possibility, however, with the book not releasing until May, I don't think this will be released as yet. The Season 2 posters, revealed all at once about 3 weeks prior to the release, with the book cover being revealed on Julia Quinn's IG the same day. The season 1 posters were revealed over the period of a month from about 6 weeks out, though there was no teaser poster for this season so the first poster revealed was also the book cover. For Queen Charlotte, the main posters were again released all at once about 6 weeks prior to the release, and these also included the image that would be on the book cover.
Based on this, I don't expect the main poster or the book cover release until after Easter.
Teaser Trailer: This is a high possibility as it is in the timeframe for previous seasons, however, this will potentially depend on how Netflix intend to do the trailers for this season with the two parts. Will there be a teaser with a longer trailer for the two parts, or will they only release a trailer for each part with no teaser trailer? If they are going to release a teaser and then two trailers then tomorrow could see the release of the teaser, however, if they are only going to release a trailer for each part then this could delay the trailer until later in April.
More Stills: A high likelihood of more stills being released, perhaps of the Bridgertons, specifically Benedict, Eloise, Francesca and Kate & Anthony, perhaps even some of Violet. The other possibility with stills is releasing some of Queen Charlotte and Lady Danbury, as we have not had any of them as yet, and maybe a few more of the Featheringtons as we have only had one of them so far. I think there may be one (or two) more of Penelope and Colin, but this could depend on whether they release stills from the whole season or part 1.
Another Clip: Is it possible we could get another season 3 clip? Possible, but unlikely, but if it was to be another clip then I don't think it will be Polin. For season 1 there was only one clip of a full scene released, which was the Bridgerton family dinner, but for season 2 there were four clips released, these comprised one of Kate and Anthony, one of the Sharmas, one of Penelope and Eloise, and one of the Queen and Lady Danbury. So far for season 3 there have been three clips, one of Kate and Anthony (with a bit of Francesca), and two of Penelope and Colin, so I think it is highly unlikely there will be anymore Penelope and Colin clips released until after the release of season 3.
Character Introductions: Up until writing this I was of the belief that it would most likely be the beginning of the character introductions that we would get, however, I realised I had misremembered the timelines of the previous seasons character introductions and they didn't come out as early as I thought. So I think this is the most unlikely.
Season 4 lead announcement: There has been some speculation that the season 4 lead could be announced before season 3 releases, this is based on the idea that season 4 could begin filming shortly. I don't think this is likely, however, it would be fitting if it was Benedict's season and they announced the season for the second son on the second anniversary of the second series.
Announcement of season 5 and 6 renewal: I have seen some wonder if they may announce a renewal of Bridgerton beyond season 4, personally I view this as highly unlikely - in fact I would be inclined to say that no, they won't be announcing any renewal before July or August if they were to announce one at all this year.
Season 2 Blooper Reel: Many were expecting a season 2 blooper reel at the end of the rewatch as they did for the season 1 rewatch, but they didn't end the rewatch with the much anticipated blooper reel, so could they be saving that for the actual anniversary day? Maybe, but I don't think so, I think if the Bridgerton and Netflix PR are going to release anything on the second anniversary of season 2 it will be connected to season 3.
In summary, my best guess for the season 2 anniversary is either more stills and/or a teaser trailer if they are doing one.
What do you think they may do for the season 2 anniversary? do you think any new content will be released?

So I know there has been some talk about people hoping we get to see a birthday in S3, but I thought wouldn't it also be cool to see the Crown Prince's name day?
According to the modern Swedish name day calendar the name day for Vilhelm or William is on April 6th. Correct me if I'm wrong as I live in a country that doesn't have name days, but I'm assuming Wilhelm would be celebrated the same day. Erik's name day is on May 18th. And since Erik is no longer the Crown Prince (RIP) that means that the Crown Prince's name day is moved up a month and a bit of change, and since filming is happening somewhere around March--June, 2023 with S2 ending in Late February/Early March, it would potentially fall right at the perfect time for the show's timeline.
This would also be the first time that Wilhelm's name day would be celebrated in the way you'd celebrate the Crown Prince's name day. After reading about how actual Crown Princess Victoria's name day is celebrated I was really interested in how they might play it out in the show. The Crown Princess's name day is on March 12th and this year she celebrated at the Royal Palace in Stockholm with the Army Music Corp, the Guard of Honour, and the Main Guard marching into the courtyard. The Army Music Corp also gave a tribute concert, and she received flowers as well from the Swedish Armed Forces. It looks like from what I could find as a non Swedish person it's pretty similar each year.
This kind of pageantry is something I think Wilhelm would absolutely dislike. I don't think he'd enjoy having that kind of attention on him. But it would open up more opportunity for him to explore his feelings about Erik and how he feels about stepping into a role that had been his brother's his whole life. The Crown Prince's name day his whole life has always been May 18th (if things work the same as the real world in fictional YR Sweden) and it's always been about his brother but now it's on a completely different day and all about him. I get the impression that other Royal name days, like for other princes and princesses aren't quite as important as the Crown Prince/Princesses. Again correct me/let me know. I think it could also be another thing to butt heads with Queen Kristina about, and maybe a chance for Wille to be more open about his feelings with her. It also would be an opportunity to see him do some princely duties.
In any case I think It would be just as cool and interesting as seeing a birthday play out. It's a medium sized celebration that could take place and wouldn't need to take up too much screen time, and would serve a good chance for character development and not just be an event that happens. I'm not predicting it will happen (who knows if anything I predict will come to fruition anyway) but I think it would be really neat if it were an event we get to see happen!

s3 trailer & bts & teasers
*spoilers?*
This season is I think 10 episodes. From some pics that Ludwika posted during post-production it's visible in the script that there at least is an episode 310. Also, if we're looking patterns from previous season's trailers then the clips from the s3 trailer most probably are from episodes 1-5, and maybe some short ones from later episodes. Anyways, here's me predicting a timeline!
Tumblr media
Ep. 1: Dinner + office I'm guessing the breakfast at Ana's is gonna be the opening scene, just like in s2. Then she goes to the office and chats with Mariana, who looks terrified half the time in this trailer… hmm. In that office scene when she tells Ana about Ferrán she just looks so stressed, which she probably is lmao I can't really blame her. Anyways, I can also see the part from the teaser where Ana makes dinner for them (while Mariana is with Ferrán :SS) also happens in the first maybe 1-3 episodes.
Ep. 1-2?: JC spying He plants the mics and Ana finds them, then JC finds them broken. This might also happen in the first episodes, maybe even in the first one. Also is Mariana sleeping at Ana's place? Ana has the same outfit on in the trailer when she finds the mics and then in another pic where they're eating, and Mariana is in pyjamas. They're really really doing the fake dating?? And is JC still in the house? From the pic it looks like there's a plate where he usually sits, so... I guess... :S
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ep. 3: Chocolates ...is the name of this ep!
Ep. 4: It's happening???! According to the IG story scripts the ladies’ trip happens in episode 4. Now what happens so they end up there, Idk. Where are they going and why, Idk either. What's known is that they're driving somewhere, Ana and Mariana are chatting as usual, talking about who the best driver is (ofc Ana claims she’s the better one). Then Ana mentions that she's tired so Mariana drives instead. Here, it seems like Mariana's about to crash the car into a cow (not a bull) which is what Ana is referring to in the teaser, or a train as written in the script... I think they leave their car and maybe hitchhike to another town? There's this cast member who is referred to as "mecanico" and is seen in the truck with Ana and Mariana. He's not driving Ana's car. So they probably decide to stay the night and hang around the town. It looks like there's a band playing, so I hope they're gonna hang around and just have a nice time! Just them. They also seem a little tipsy in the teaser... So maybe they'll have some drinks and then the teaser part comes where they're chatting and having a moment. I guess after this part is when the kissing from the trailer comes. Now is it actually happening, is it a dream or something else, Idk. It looks real tho... I think the lighting kind of makes it look "dreamy" lol but, the clothes are the same plus them being tipsy... it could be fr. I guess this is one of those too good to be true moments but, it's not impossible! I'm having high hope for this episode. It feels like it'll be a really good one.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ep. 5-6?: Yo estoy enamorada de Ferrán I think Mariana telling Ana that she never broke up with Ferrán happens after the ep. 4 kissing which is why Ana also looks SO hopeful, and then so confused and let down. Also because the kissing is in ep. 4, they're most probably keeping Ferrán for more than 4 episodes.
Ep. 5-6?: Ana + Elena Ana seeing Elena and the other lady happens in the middle. This show has a pretty fast pace so I wouldn't be surprised if Ana's exploring only lasts for one/two episodes, while maybe Mariana in the same episodes can't get it to work with Ferrán and comes to her own conclusions. Is she gonna see Ana with the other woman? Is she gonna get jealous? (pls)
Ep. 7-8? Reconciliation? I wonder if this is the reconciliation moment after everything goes down with Ana's date and Ferrán. And are Ana and Mariana going to stop seeing each other for a while like in s2? In any case, in the trailer (andthe gif) it looks like Mariana's saying "Ana", and looks surprised and happy, maybe relieved? and the peep Ana’s jacket on the armchair, it looks like the jacket in the photo. Is this Elena's place? I don’t think it is… but there have been a couple of times Ludwika has been filming at Elena's house so I hope they have scenes together and actually become friendly, or even friends :D.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ep. 9-10: The End Rodrigo has his graduation at some point, maybe that could also be at the end, together with the celebration at Ana's and then lastly Tere having her baby, which ties it all from 101 to 310 together.
Ep. 1-7?: Ferrán Matías Novoa (Ferrán) also posted some scripts. My guess is he'll be in the first half of the season at least if not more. The scene where Mariana is talking to Lucía and Tere maybe is from episodes 5-7? There is this script that he posted but I can't see the episode number... it looks like 307, but I'm not sure. Mariana and Ferrán are preparing to sleep but they are having a discussion about the girls. She's saying "What were you thinking?!" "One: If Ana finds out, she'll kill me. Two: You didn't tell me, and three: I left [the girls] with you so you could bond with them, if not, I prefer leaving them with my mom or my grandma". Then Ferrán says that he's sorry and he didn't want to disturb her in the middle of her meeting and so he had no other choice basically. Mariana says that it's fine but that it can't happen again. What did he do lol?? If there are 10 episodes, then maybe their break up could happen in ep. 7.
(Also Ferrán always buying things for Mariana or Regina and trying to make her stay is just so... just stop lmao. Like their whole relationship started with him buying her a new bike, then toys for Regina without asking, and in s3 it looks like he bought a crib and then in the teaser clip a fkn iMac for Mariana, like we get it.)
Ep. ?: Ana tucking Mariana in At the end of the trailer Ana is in this houndstooth patterned dress, while Mariana is sleeping in her bed. I don't know where or what event Ana could've been to... If it would be work related then Mariana would've joined too since they're still working together (or are they?). Is Mariana actually staying at her house? I don't think permanently but for sure from time to time. Where would this bit fit? There could be so many different scenarios xd
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ep. ?: Ana + JC The Ana + JC meditation trip is very loose in the timeline, I have no idea where this would fit either... maybe in the middle somewhere, after they "split up" again. Also in the script, at the top it looks like Ana is talking to her mom about her dad, and how she doesn't want to see him again. I think he comes to her house, then she visits him at some point. I think her dad has been so absent he barely knows how many children she even has (shown in the script). There's another one where JC and Ro are at a golf course with JC's dad, so apparently the grandpas are joining this season. I think JC's and Victor's dad is in the hospital in the finale as well.
So yeah I'm imagining something like this... Then again, I thought that Ana and Mariana weren't gonna mention whatever happened in the first season maybe until 202 or 203, but it literally happened after like 10 minutes lmao, so yeah I'm probably way off. But anyways it's fun to speculate :D

Link Click S2E7: At this point it's probably a sure thing (?) to assume that that's Cheng Xiaoshi who is in possession of Lu Guang's body (his mannerisms sure as heck seem to want us to believe that), but the immediate question I have is, does that mean Lu Guang is in possession of Cheng Xiaoshi's body???? Granted, we've never been shown that LG is capable of such a power or that CXS could do that to a soul of a body he has taken over, but then again, this show is notorious for randomly dropping random facts out of nowhere to make things canon, so make it make sense.
But then it got me thinking: It's been established that when CXS time leaps into the past, his physical body disappears along with him until he returns back to the present. Assuming our first hunch to be correct, why is CXS' physical body still around? Two possibilities I've thought of: 1) This is the first time CXS has possessed someone in the present timeline, rather than the past, so his physical body does not disappear as it's still the same present, but since two bodies cannot occupy the same physical space at the same time, CXS' soul would need to separate from his body to possess another. However, vacating his body to possess LG would leave it vulnerable if left 'empty', so it makes sense for the souls to exchange places so LG could protect CXS' body and follow the girl without raising further distrust and suspicion, and CXS in LG's body could make a break for it and ditch the police to meet up with (and rescue) LG in CXS' body as they would not have seen it coming. 2) That BOTH of them are CXS, and the one possessing LG is CXS of another timeline, future OR otherwise, here to save his own ass. Because... aw yeah, my Conspiracy theory that an AU timeline exists in this story is back on the table! We mad lads be madding over here and I will hold on to that thought until canon evidence states otherwise. Edit addition: I don't know how this holds up to that episode in S1 where CXS went back to Qiaoling's past to save a friend and LG reminds CXS to never meet up with his past self as that would mess with things, but given that CXS is never a stickler for the rules anyway I think this scenario is entirely possible and opens up a whole new mystery mcguffin for the series as to what can happen when you meet yourself. I will admit that this season is a slower drag for me compared to S1, which is why I haven't been motivated to muse about this show weekly the way I did for S1. Don't get me started on s2e1, which I thought went and complied all the questions we had at s1 and just... kind of info dumped on us as exposition? All that buildup for 12 episodes and for what. This season seems more focused on flexing their animation prowess than genuine plot and character development, and if I weren't invested in its potential and knowing the end game for these boys and how close my predictions/speculations are I might have lost interest already. The pace has gotten draggy, plot more convoluted than ever before (which is just S1 powered up tbh but I digress) and all their filler scenes of no consequence are probably 15 minutes too long. It is already episode 7, and it feels almost certain that at this pace, the 'end' will be yet another new cliffhanger so they can explain making a S3 and I don't know how I feel about that. We should really stop thinking about it, yeah. Orz.

ma'am i just want to say i love your takes. For example, you helped me navigate my feelings towards the boys, and that I completely agree that they were not a bad idea, but they we're not executed properly.
Any S3 predictions/wishlists?
ah thank you bestie! i think about media i consume way too much so i’m glad you agree w me haha
s3 predictions:
i think hinting at shelby working for gretchen is just for the drama of it all, kind of like how the trailer implied martha would have a problem with shelby and toni but then it wasn’t an issue whatsoever. i think s2 set up perfectly for the other girls to immediately understand that she’s double teaming gretchen (ie fatin and shelby working together, shelby telling toni that she doubts everything but her, etc)
we’ll get more background on kirin and scotty
kirin and shelby are half siblings change my mind
the boys aren’t going to believe leah and it’s going to be a stupid conflict about that
we’ve officially seen the entire island timeline so i think it’ll be back and forth between both groups on the island together + individual flashbacks and MAYBE more bunker interviews
s3 wishlist:
more development of goodfoe like jesus they really haven’t had a serious conversation about anything and it shows
canon leatin
explanation as to why martha was never interviewed if she’s obviously alive and well
a conversation between dot and shelby about shelby’s sexuality
a conversation between shelby and leah about leah’s suicide attempt
more between shelby and fatin regarding religion (throw in a lil jewish leah too and i’ll be happy)
a deeper dive into ALL their backstories. i do NOT feel like the girls’ backstories were finished and it’s really pissing me off that we didn’t get ANY more flashbacks w them
(basically everything we should have gotten in s2 but didn’t)

So, the summaries dropped and im tryn my best to be civil. I don't know what to do with myself.
WTF!?!! WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!??! I can't!! I fuckin REFUSE to sit through this shit! No! I am coping so hard, SO GOD DAMNED HARD that there is some twist to this, or they're hiding shit, or smth because I cannot deal! This is the worst time for this, I am freaking out!
Tumblr media
THESE BASTARDS NEED TO STOPPPP!! OMG NO PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! Stop trying to die I can't have y'all dying fuck me sideways fuck!! I AM SHITTING AND PISSING AND SUFFERING I HATE THIS 😫😫😫😫
Tumblr media
THEYRE KILLING OFF MY BOY!!! HES ONE OF YHE BEST CHARACTERS AND HES GONE OMG!! WHAT DO I DO?!?! 😫😫😫😫
Anyway, I kinda thought this would happen, seeing as they took out the less important ones pretty early. I'm bad at theory stuff but I'll drop something unsubstantiated: 90% sure the silhouetted characters on the S3 poster are what happens when a Velgearian dies lol. I feel like if this was correcting the timeline so no aliens appeared in Sevens™ thing, they would have done it in season 3. Regardless, killing off the "rival" is pretty ballsy, so pretty sure he was never ment to be the rival, it was Yuhi. Or Yudias, depends on who you think the protag is lol. Doesn't matter to me, as long as the story is interesting.
Having them all be hyped to die is so fucked I love it. The Myuda-Dinowa tag duel better be filled with Myudas theme; it's probably the best in the show tbh. Also Zwijo givin one last hurrah to his bf is some sad shit. Mans goin fast and hard lol. Idk what theyre gonna do with the last 4 eps, cause if they kill Yudias then all the Velgearians are coming back, and that seems too predictable. Surprise me mfkers! Make me cry!
