A series of events in Milan allowed the 141 to cross paths with you. Staying in a lavish French penthouse was far from what they had expected on a mission dictated by Laswell but her connections with your retired INTERPOL mother had brought them the extravagance of your home and lifestyle. Laswell had to threaten to have their court marshaled if they delayed their arrival home any longer. You thought of that brief moment in summer fondly as you left Gaz a voicemail. "I have a runway in New York coming up, let me know if you'll be on leave," you spoke on the phone, examining your manicured nails, "accommodations and champagne are on me." 

"This is nice," Price said, dropping his duffle onto the marbled tile of their hotel room. "Are you kidding, Cap?" Gaz said as he opened every door into the massive suite, "This is fucking amazing." When they got off the plane at JFK, they had not expected a private driver who brought them to the ornate hotel. The room itself had four separate bedrooms with two bathrooms filled with the best amenities. Soap had taken the opportunity to run over and open a bottle of champagne while Ghost pilfered the small shampoo and conditioner bottles. While the men explored the vast rooms and fought over the beds, there was a knock at the door. Price opened it to reveal a well-dressed bell-hop boy, holding a tray with an envelope. "Four tickets sent by one of the models," he spoke and Price handled the black envelope with embossed pink lettering. "Hell of invitation," he muttered before he looked at the runway time and shared the details with his team. "Wonder what she'll be wearing," Soap mused as he turned to take over one of the bathrooms.

Behind the stage, there was organized chaos with models running around in their silk robes in between the stations. The chatter roared as they chatted with the various hair stylists and makeup artists. "First VS show?" your makeup artist asked as she applied glitter delicately to your primed lids. "Yes, but not my first modeling gig," you smiled as you felt the pressure on your closed eyes, "Versace was beyond a mess compared to this." The artist laughed as she continued to prep your look. You could see mixes of pink and gold applied to your lips and the apples of your cheeks. "We think an olive green liner would look stunning on you," she said before holding a green eyeliner pencil in hand. You nodded in response as you shifted a bit in your robe. You gently closed your eyes again as you envisioned your latest outfit for the night.

Weeks prior you had visited the city to see your outfit for the night. A sage green bra and panty set decorated with pink and glittery flowers to resemble a meadow. Your wings were made of a delicate rose pink chiffon that was reminiscent of a fairy. "Do you like?" the designer asked as you walked around the stand and examined every stitch and detail. You smiled as you nodded happily, feeling the soft fabric under your fingertips. "Any particular inspiration?" you questioned as you made sure to feel the weight of the wings. "The newest line of Victoria's Secret," she spoke dreamily, "the delicacy of nature."

With your makeup and hair done, you walked over to change and receive the final touches from the design team. The group walked rapidly around your figure, assuring every detail would shine when the lights hit your walk. "Have anyone special here tonight?" one of the designers asked as he cut a few loose stitches. "Just a few friends from Europe," you spoke, hoping you didn't sound too entitled. You wanted to talk more but your odd friendship with a small special forces group would definitely reach some tabloids. "You look perfect darling," another designer spoke and you nodded before beginning to walk in your heels. "You can mingle with the others. Your collection is after the classics set," she reminded. You took a deep breath and made some facetious conversation with the other women. They were in awe at your previous shows but you just simply talked as if each was a mediocre experience. "Alright ladies, walk begins in five," a voice called over the comms and you lined up accordingly. As you watched the excited group in front of you, you wondered what you would treat the 141 to for dinner. You were sure if someone knew this is what you thought of before a show, they would laugh.

"Move up, Y/N," the stage manager directed, pulling you out of your food-related musings, "almost time for you to go on." You moved forward, getting into the comfort of your model walk you had done so many times before. You took a deep breath as you heard the live music stream through the curtains and the ethereal light peek through. You looked down at your attire one last time before the model ahead of you returned and it was your turn to awe the show. "Go, go, go," you could hear the stage manager command as the bright lights and menagerie of faces met your gaze.

"I think this is her!" Gaz commented, leaning forward in his chair. "You've been saying that for the past four models," Ghost corrected before he turned to see who was coming out next. As the men directed their gaze to the stage, you confidently strutted onto the platform. They were glued to your figure, perfectly accentuated by the flirtatious lingerie set. The details were delicate and encapsulated your aura. "Fuck." Soap whispered under his breath as the glitter and flower additions to your ensemble shimmered underneath the light. Your wings bounced and looked like they flittered in the air as you made your way in front of the watching crowd. "She's a natural at this," Price commented as he watched the way you walked in a straight line with an air of elegance in each step. He also couldn't deny the way you shined on stage and how the cameras clicked in rapid succession. As you reached the end of the runway, you took an opportunity to look over at the seats you had picked for the 141. You gave a small wink before blowing a kiss in their direction. 

Upon your exiting, there was a clamor amongst the group as to who the kiss was directed to. Primarily, Soap and Gaz were at odds thinking you made eye contact with them as you puckered your glossed lips. Price attempted to put a stop to them before Ghost spoke up. "I'm sure that was for me," he spoke quietly, leaving everyone to shelf the conversation and bring it up later over dinner.

When Someone Insults Sucrose, Venti, & Nahida... Vs When Someone Insults Reader

Anon, you know for a fact things are about to go down when Reader hears the insults directed at these characters. For all we know—if reader wasn't be held back they probably would actually murder some people.

OH, and this one's going to be VERY LONG, so be prepared! This was also the reason why I had to get rid of Fischl—that and it was also because my motivation decided to die on me—

Sucrose

The moment she gets insulted for how shy and unusual her experiments were, you can literally tell her confidence breaking. You can see it in the way her ears began to droop more and how she starts fumbling with her stuff.

And, you treasure Sucrose A LOT. What are you going to do, sit there on the side lines? NOT do anything?

"Hey, you lot!" You march up to the insulters out of your hiding place. "What do you think you're doing, insulting one of my acolytes?"

This gets the gossipers to shut up immediately. They are shivering as they hear your voice, flaring with anger and hatred to the bone.

"Y-Your Grace! We were just...uhm—just...commenting! Yes, just commenting on, uh—"

"Shut up. This. INSTANT!" Your voice rings out through the street of Mondstadt. Sucrose's eyes were wide as she sees you, the Almighty Creator, stand up for her. "DO THIS AGAIN, AND I WILL SLIT YOUR THROAT OUT, YOU HEAR ME?"

Yeah, the gossipers are getting absolute PSTD from this. They are never recovering from this incident. Sucrose, upon hearing the threat, quickly runs up to you, to hold you back from actually hurting them.

Yes, you were raising your fists. Who wouldn't want to punch them? They were acting ignorant!

"P-please, Your Grace! Let's not get violent!" Sucrose tries to persuade you from not doing anything murderous—she doesn't want to have to report to the Knights of Favonius that the Creator themself has committed first-degree murder on the streets right before her eyes.

You sigh, relenting. You won't do it if Sucrose won't like it, but if anyone asked you, they absolutely deserved losing their vocal cords.

"Fine." You turn back to the gossipers, who were cowering on the table they were at. "You both, get out of here. If this happens again, I will do what I threatened to do. Or worse."

That's what gets the moving. After several panicked confirmations ("Yes, Your Grace!" "Understood, Your Grace!" "This won't happen again, Your Grace!"), they leave.

But if you were the one that got insulted? Sucrose would be so horrified of the audacity of these people! How could they say such things about the Creator?

She would be even more horrified to realize that you were there, hearing it all. So, instead of telling off the gossipers, she runs up to you to make sure you were okay. Your feelings matter more than those idiots!

"Your Grace, are you okay? I'm so sorry for what they're saying! Please know that they're not true!" She would say gently, and Sucrose would be ultimately surprised to see you actually pretty chill about the entire incident.

"Hm? Yeah, why wouldn't I be okay?—Oh, are you talking about those people over there?" You point at the gossipers, still insulting and calling you names. "Yeah, they're actually pretty amusing."

Shookth. That's what Sucrose's expression is. Absolute shock. You would expect someone like the Almighty Creator to be enraged or upset by this kind of behavior from your own people, but no, you're just sitting there, at a table near the Good Hunter, listening to some dudes piling up random trash on the table like it's some Live Soap Opera.

"U-uhm, pardon me, Your Grace...but are you not affected by what they're saying?" Sucrose can't help but be puzzled at your reaction. It's not exactly...what people would expect, you know?

"Nope, none. Anyways, I'm feeling up for a mushroom pizza—wanna come join me? It'll be on me~"

Sucrose blushes, her mind going frantic. Pizza, with the CREATOR THEMSELF?! But, if the creator wants her to join, she can't refuse!

"O-of course, Your Grace!"

"Alright then. SARA! YOU MIND IF YOU MAKE US A MUSHROOM PIZZA, PLEASE?" The moment you shout from your table, the gossipers turned pale. They look over at you and Sucrose.

That was the next gossip going on throughout the streets for the next few weeks. And you found that entire episode even more amusing.

Venti

This guy is honestly pretty used to insults, so hearing one of his own people call him names and insulting his skills as a bard, he just ignores them and goes on with his day.

However, today was different. He was inside the tavern when you stormed to the table where the insults were being piled up on.

"Ahem." Just by the sound of your voice, you can see the dudes trembling. You were that much of a scary character when you wanted to be. "What is the meaning of this?"

"A-ah! Your Grace, we were just placing opinions on a certain bard's skill in their music—"

"And how does insulting the bard himself have to do anything with their music taste?" you ask, voice ringing with anger. The bad mouthers were turning pale just by the tone you were using. If emotions could kill, your glare would have them drop dead in a heartbeat. Venti found that a little amusing, honestly.

"U-uhm, Your Grace, we can explain!" one of them quickly exclaims, trying to save their own skins. You glare down at them, not even budging in expression or movement.

"Perhaps I should call StormTerror and have your discarded bodies thrown into the ocean." Ayo, hold up! Venti nearly sweats his pants off. The Creator calling in his dear friend, Dvalin, just to kill like, 3 people that were badmouthing him?

As much as he wanted to see his buddy again, he does not like the situation as to why he was even here in Mondstadt again. And besides, these three were still children of Mondstadt! It's better if he steps in and saves them all.

"Yahoo! Your Grace!~ Come join me with for a lovely glass of wine!" He uses his cheekiness to get your attention, knowing the favoritism he'll get over the trio in their little corner.

You sigh. You were so close of letting loose your rage on these idiots, but alas, having fun with Venti outweighed dealing with smack talkers.

So, despite your urge to continue to scream bloody murder from the skies above, you joined Venti at his usual spot in front of the bartender. Venti can only smile as he manages to defuse the situation without making a bigger scene.

"So, Your Grace~ Care to hear this bard's next ballad dedicated to the Almighty Creator themself?" Purely distracts you before you can think more about the frustrating topic.

But when Venti hears someone smack talking about the Creator? Oh, it's really about to go down. Someone was really asking for a death wish. He can suddenly sympathize how much anger you could've felt when you heard other talking crap about him.

Until he sees you, chilling in the corner, listening in on the crap and looking like you would fall asleep at any given time. Venti was puzzled—has the Creator heard insults such as these before? He had to know.

So, disregarding the stupid and semi-drunk idiots, he runs up to you. The moment you see him, you were suddenly very much awake.

"Your Grace! I apologize for what those morons are saying—please, allow this humble bard to deal with them—" You wave him off, telling him to not bother. You tell him that it was actually pretty amusing, and sometimes really good background noise to help you sleep.

Now this dude is even more confused. How could insults be good background noise? How could the Creator themself be using that as a source to doze off to dreamland? It didn't make sense, but he suppose it'll be better for himself if he just left the question alone, never to be answered.

"Well, anyways, I'm up for a walk—you wanna come with?" Venti grins at the request. Spending time with the Creator? Of course he would join! He can brag about it all to the old block head in Liyue and the grumpy royal in Inazuma.

"Ehe, lead the way, Your Grace!" He says it loud enough to have the gossipers freeze and look over. They watch as you both leave the tavern to go on a walk.

Mission accomplished! Venti can live with that kind of revenge on the plate. It served them right to be scared.

Nahida

Okay, to make it more convenient for myself, let's have this take place before the Greater Lord Rukkhadevata was erased from Irmunsil. The traveler has managed to save Nahida from the sanctuary of Surasthana, and now we're basically at the part where Cyno meets Azar face to face.

You, quite literally, begged Cyno to let you join him—you were sick and tired of that old man that proclaimed himself to be he Grand Sage anyways.

Even without all the begging, Cyno would've let you follow him anyways. If Azar didn't think that the Dendro Archon could ever lay judgement on him, then let the Almighty Creator reign justice on him themself.

The moment you step into the sanctuary, however, you felt your blood boil. You remember playing through this darn quest and listened to all the crap this son of a dirt bag threw at the wholesome bean that is the Dendro Archon.

You knew what would happen, since you played through the entire quest. For some reason, Teyvat hasn't gone through this change, but you knew. In the end, Nahida was too merciful to the sages. And, let's be honest, who wouldn't want to throw a darn punch at this guy?

You let Cyno do most of the talking with Azar, enjoying how he was looking uneasy as you silently glared at him from the shadows. You can tell Nahida saw you, her eyes wide with awe and shock.

The moment Cyno slams down his polearm, you took it as your cue to come out of your hiding spot.

"And if you think you're leaving this place unharmed, you better think twice! I will claw off that smug face of yours if you think you would get away insulting that precious child!" You point at Nahida to make your statement very clear of who said-child was, in case Azar was stupid enough to think it was someone else.

The moment the (ex)Grand Sage saw you, you can see the literal fear dawning his very figure and eyes. Cyno had to hold you back with an arm on your shoulder because you were looking wayy too murderous than he thought you would be.

"Your Grace, please calm down!" As much as she hates what the sages and the Fatui did to the people of Sumeru, she didn't exactly want Azar dead.

Nahida is smart enough to speculate that if she interfered, maybe Cyno would be able to do his job for both she and the Almighty Creator before things escalate too quickly by Their Grace's divine hand.

As much as she loves you standing up to her, she really doesn't want things to get too bloody than it needs to be.

You glare at Azar one more time. Fine, if you can't have this son of a crap dead as a corpse, you would take some satisfaction in driving fear into him.

"You do this again, little old man, and I'll make sure you actually lose all that self-pride you have and oh-so cherish. Got it?" Even with confirmation, you wouldn't let this guy off the hook. You were that enraged with him.

But at least Nahida was out of her cage, so that's all that mattered.

"Don't worry, Your Grace! I won't let others do this again to me, I promise!" She reassures you that she will not have anyone trample all over her again, and you just couldn't help yourself but smile gently down at her. You know very well she wouldn't.

Alright, post-sumeru archon quest, Nahida is pretty much free to roam wherever she wants. She's pretty happy, until she hears a group of people huddling together talking bad about the Almighty Creator...

At first, she was surprised. Then she got upset and a little angry. Why would her people speak so ill of the Creator?

She literally nearly breaks when she sees you chilling at a different table at Puspa Cafe. She ran up to you, surprisingly, undetected by almost everyone she ran past.

You notice Nahida approaching, and welcome her with a warm smile and a wave, but dies away when she sees the sadness on her face.

"Your Grace! Please forgive my people for talking such false things about you!" She would exclaim, her eyes close to watering tears. While she doesn't like what she hears about you, she doesn't want her people hurt for such things they say.

"Oh—that's what you were concerned about?" you said, dumbly. You look over at the table that were still gossiping about you. "Nah, don't worry, Nahida—they're actually pretty funny."

That immediately gets Nahida spiraling down in confusion. Huh? How could such hurtful things be funny? Was the Almighty Creator very used to this kind of thing, or was it simply because they truly did find it amusing somehow?

"I'm sorry, Your Grace...but I don't really get what you mean." You shrug it off, telling her that's just how you roll. Besides, this was like a free, live time drama show! They were that amusing.

"Say, since we're sitting here in Puspa Cafe, how 'bout I treat you to some Padisarah Pudding and Candied Ajilenakh Nuts? It's all on me!" Yeah, you're pretty okay with spoiling Nahida with treats. Besides, cute bean was sad—you wanted to cheer her up!

When she agrees, you shout, "BOSS! MIND IF YOU GET ME TWO PADISARAH PUDDINGS AND A PLATE OF AJILENAKH NUTS?" And, much like what happened with Sucrose and the pizza, the gossipers freeze, turn pale, and look over.

They become even paler when they see the Dendro Archon herself sitting with the Almighty Creator, casually talking about random things.

"Your Grace, did you really fall from the sky as a shooting star to our world?" You and Nahida would continue talking about your origins and how you brought Teyvat to life from the storybook version, not knowing that the bad mouthers were having a existential crisis at their table.

AND THAT'S IT! I'M SORRY FISCHL, BUT I AM VERY TIRED—

Ghost Rebel Side Note: This was WAYY longer than I thought it would be, holy cow- but at least it turned out okay? :') Boy, I am so tired lol- this took far too much energy than I thought it would. My motivation legit started plummeting when I got to Nahida—You can legit tell I had to reuse the cafe/restaurant scene from Sucrose into hers because my brain just died on me- But I do hope you guys still liked it! Especially you, Anon! I hope it was up to your standards :)

can we talk about how rauru is literally like. just zelda’s dad. like in that one scene where zelda looks like she’s gravely contemplating turning into a dragon and then rauru goes “i believe the answer lies in more research and understanding your power!” and she looks at him with such shock and awe. zelda’s adventures in the past are literally like her life but with a better dad. the queen promises her to help her figure out her power but dies before they can figure out a way how to use that power to safely save everyone. zelda desperately wants to help everyone and is clearly feeling the pressure of it all and the king is the one to tell her “hey i understand how hard you’re trying and how much you want to save everyone and we’re thankful for what you’re doing”. rauru actually acknowledges zelda’s dedication and the importance of research and technology, he is kind to her and never blames her for any of the bad things happening. he also never pushes zelda to make sacrifices and is the one sacrificing himself in the end - in botw, all the champions and zelda have to choose to make sacrifices to save the kingdom, but in totk rauru doesn’t ask that of any of the sages, instead recognizing his own responsibility as king and basically dying to save his kingdom. he’s literally zelda’s better dad.

same anon as the one raving about rauru also the differences between how the two kings treat link. they’re both tutorial figures but the way they guide is SO different. pretty much the first thing rhoam does is lie and pretend to be a random old man, being quite annoying as he sends link to do a bunch of challenges for a paraglider. the framing is so fundamentally different, rauru freely offers the information he has to link upfront, he apologises for the body modification, acknowledging link’s potential distress. rhoam basically keeps link on the plateau arbitrarily, presenting giving items and teaching link about things as challenges for link to overcome. rauru on the other hand aids link as best he can, tells him what he needs to do from the beginning (tells him to open the door which is pretty much the last thing he’ll need to do in the tutorial, telling him about the ultimate goal from the beginning), proposes solutions when it doesn’t work out (directs him to the shrines as a way to help him gain the strength he needs, as opposed to making him complete challenges to get a paraglider that in the moment seems like literally arbitrary conditions). rhoam telling link how much responsibility and pressure he has on him all of a sudden and how much he needs to do vs rauru telling link that it was wonderful to meet him and zelda’s accounts of him were all true. like. the framing. the difference in character. the deterioration of knowledge within hyrule falls parallel to the deterioration of its king’s kindness and virtue.

the differences between rauru and roham are crazy to me because one of them was so fundamentally good and one was so fundamentally flawed and yet. neither of them were able to save their kingdom. no matter how good a king of hyrule is, no matter what he gets right or wrong, he is still doomed to die. rhoam tried to sacrifice his daughter to keep hyrule alive. rauru did everything in his power to make sure she DIDNT have to be sacrificed. and in the end the outcome was the same. but the KINGS were not the same, and that difference in framing you mentioned i think is fundamentally a difference in legacy. rhoams legacy is to forever be the king who sacrificed children to save himself and died anyway. rhoam died a loser through and through, a king atop a throne of nothing but failure. i think that’s partially why he appears as an old man at first, because he KNOWS what being the king of hyrule means and he’s EMBARRASSED that his legacy is what it is. but rauru. in complete contrast, rauru was so GOOD. rauru died with his sages and his DAUGHTER alive to see another day. rauru ENSURED they’d live no matter what. he wouldn’t LET them sacrifice themselves for him. rauru put everyone else before himself. he didn’t expect or even tolerate self-sacrifice and yet when the time came he sacrificed HIMSELF selflessly despite knowing that it wouldn’t even WORK. rauru’s legacy is something to be proud of. he’s open to link because he has nothing TO hide. no regrets or stupid decisions. and he is remembered so much more favorably because of it.

I agree with the last non-Anon Asker that at first glance with your WIP of the Great Sage vs Heaven appearing as though he was wearing bikini armor with massive 'tittlies' (that is now my favorite new word), but now with the finished version I see distinctly as full armor and massive crossed arms...

OKAY first of all can I just say that 'tittlies' is really funny and it made me giggle 😂 Omg, what? That he won against Heaven wearing bikini armor? PFFFF- honestly I feel like it would have been embarrassing for the Heavens and Sophie would be so confused. "Why you would wear it? it doesn't keep you safe in the first place....does it?" she would be concerned about his safety but she would then picture it and probably laugh a little. It's too funny but on the other hand, she might think it would suit him.

If it had been Jim who had been murdered and not Johanna, in what ways do you think Beckett's life would have changed? (I'm assuming that, professionally, she would have become a detective anyway, of course)

Oooooh, that's a good question, Anon. I'm going to assume -- but please chime in if I'm wrong -- that everything else stays the same. The murder is unsolved, the cops don't really seem that fussed about finding out who did it, etc. So one of the most interesting things to me about Beckett is that she doesn't seem to gravitate to one parent over the other in the show. Yeah, some of that is definitely because Johanna is dead and that hobbles any interaction/development and, you know, her memories of her mom are colored by the fact she's no longer around. But generally speaking, Beckett's relationship with Johanna seems less fraught with squabbles than with her dad. It truly seems like Johanna was at least understanding of some of her daughter's wilder tendencies, and was often the one trying to rein in Jim's overprotective streak. I think, over time, she and Johanna would become quite close if Jim had died. She still becomes a cop, because she won't stand for not having the murder solved or for other people being treated as they were, and Johanna is her number one cheerleader as she goes through the Academy. Where Jim and KB kind of fractured for a while due to his drinking and their grief, I think Johanna and KB would have done the opposite and drawn closer together. So you'd see Johanna involved in her life a lot more than Jim arguably is. Like to the point Johanna would be a recurring character (ala Martha) in this tv version of Castle. She'd know what Kate was working on, she'd known who she's dating, and offer her sage advice about all of it. And, yeah, I think once Kate is in the NYPD, she and Johanna generally piece together what they know about Jim's case. Johanna's a lawyer, and while I can buy that she's a bit broken and stunted by his death, she never strikes me in the show as the type of person in life to just let things lie. Johanna, like Kate, would push and push and push to try and find out what happened. In my mind, they work it together and eventually concede that they need to step back and give themselves some time before trying again. That's about the time she meets Castle and, you know, it's like a moth to a flame. I think it'd be a change in Kate's personality, too. I don't think she'd be quite as broken or as haunted as she is when the show begins. I think she'd probably have a few more friends because Johanna would push her not to lose herself in her work and to live her life. Probably would have dated a bit more, and maybe had a few serious relationships. The walls she put up wouldn't be quite so high or indestructible, and I don't think she would resist her connection with Castle quite so much, either. Not with her mother and Martha (who clearly would team up and become best friends) around to cajole and poke and steer them together. I guess the easiest way to describe it -- think of Beckett and Castle meeting when Kate's in her late season two headspace of being more open to living her life. She's still got that innate passion and sense of justice, she still gives everything to her job, but she's got a better balance of the job vs. her life. That's where I see her.

Momma reader have their daughter wrap up safety and savoring this moment but a himox thought that seeing the two as easy pray try to kill them but the triplets fierce kiddos appear and murderous rip and tear the himox apart since it try to hurt their momma amd baby sister.

The chain star in bewildered and Fierce being a prideful deity seen his kiddos first kill and if blood does land on their momma or baby the triplets would came over and use a rag to gently wipe the blood off them and then return to what there doing.

If reader after recover from the birth and the baby girl can eat solid food I'll believe wild, sage and twilight would be the next fathers to reader since their more sneaky. If reader does get pregnant again it'll be triplets so wild,sage and twilight have each a baby to raise but they'll have a hard time sleeping since the Fierce kiddos are watch them while sharing their weapons.

Wild,sage and twilight have a rough few weeks of last of sleep. And they'll wake up in rivers,upside down in trees but the worse is having snakes on them but twilight he have wolf pelts that's freshly skin with the snakes.

I imagine the chain is off setting camp so their goddess doesn't have to, hence why she's watching the kids. The boys aren't far, not at all, but have their attention preoccupied. Afterall, it seemed like safe area?

Like, imagine Reader, cooing at her baby with the F.D. triplets (I'm gonna go with them all being boys. idk just feels right) right there, making faces to make their new sister laugh. Maybe Fierce calls for his sons' help for something or another, so two go and one stay (Which they obviously fight over-- they are their daddy's sons afterall) When the Hinox first stomps up, Reader ain't even worried. The chain is right there anyway. She calmly standing, holding baby girl close with her free hand on F.D.T #1's shoulder, gently pulling him back. He steps back, but keeps his guard up. When the hinox crosses whatever boundary he laid, he's letting out a battle cry and just going man. The other two probably react just as fast, running off before any of the chain can so much as blink.

Fierce naturally is the first to react, but by the time he approaches the scene, the reader is cooing over their boys with a hinox laying in shreds behind them. I know you said the kids wipe Reader's cheeks, but imagine Reader wiping the boys' cheeks with gentle scoldings. Fierce is so freaking proud. Instead of the normal, stoic expression he wears, he's grinning like a maniac and throwing his kids in the air, singing their praises. The chain are caught between congratulating the kids and also just going >:(

I'm generally lax about this sort of thing because there's a difference between VA's under an official script and guidance, vs them just playing around with silly prompts. (Whether they're under personal company rules are not) And therefore, the latter shouldn't be used as fuel for anything. Something I think some DO understand the concept.

It's just that unfortunately with this series; rather the fandom, there's no balance for anything. You don’t think Visenya was jealous of Rhaenys, and maybe even hated her??? Like Lysa did to Catelyn or Arya with Sansa. let’s not forget that given Visenya’s harsh and unforgiving personality, she would not stand Aegon choosing Rhaenys over her in every way possible. Aegon even choose Rhaenys’s son over his son with Visenya. He raised Aenys by himself while Maegor was raised by his mother on Dragonstone. Visenya was supposed to be Aegon’s ONLY wife and queen, the mother of his heir… but all those things were given to Rhaenys with Aegon’s love. I bet Vis did not take this slight so carelessly.

I never said this, Anon, which is the danger when you read into things I have said and make assumptions. You're coming across quite heated when a simple "why do you think" would have worked quite well.

What I did say in a short answer was:

I don’t think there was passionate love on either side like there clearly was between Aegon and Rhaenys, and I think Visenya felt lonely because of this. I don’t think she was some obsessively jealous shrew over it, and I think she loved her sister too, but I do think she wished she had that… even though I don’t think she herself felt that way for Aegon.

By "Obsessively jealous shew" I referred to the unfortunate stereotype. I did say that she experienced pain. I didn't say there was no envy. Visenya's actually quite a complex character, so let's properly expand this.

I think Visenya and Rhaenys loved each other like sisters. Love does not under any circumstances mean that you can't also envy someone: see, Cat and Lysa, and Arya and Sansa, and Tyrion and Jaime for that matter. I don't think Visenya was romantically in love with Aegon, but I do think she loved him as her brother, and certainly was envious of the bond with Rhaenys. But being envious of the bond doesn't mean she felt romantic love for Aegon, but more of a sort of "I wish I had this" type of thing. That is what I was saying, not that there was no envy, which is honestly a different, albeit related discussion.

A recurring theme in ASOIAF is duty vs love. It's even stated that "Aegon married Visenya out of duty and Rhaenys out of desire." Visenya is very, very much categorized by duty, while Rhaenys is desire and love. Aegon needed both to be successful. Visenya was effective at in her conquering, and a fairly wise ruler. She's the mind to Rhaenys's heart, in alchemy terms (another frequent allusion of ASOIAF).

I also think it's quite clear Visenya and Aegon had kind of a mutual sense of duty that bound them together, while also no passion between them. There's nothing to suggest Visenya was pining after him. Instead, while I don't doubt she may have wanted to be his only wife and queen, it was more about duty than it was about "I wish he loved me like I loved him."

She gave Aegon good--and this is key: practical--advice, but did so by cutting him. That anecdote is in the book to tell us their relationship was both of them making the other a better ruler, honestly, but not exactly filled with care.

Where Visenya does start showing feeling of extreme resentment concerns Maegor vs Aenys, not Aegon. It's one thing to be second fiddle yourself. It's another to have your son, the baby who loves you and whom you love like no other, be treated as second fiddle. So, I think Visenya resented Maegor's treatment, absolutely.

It's heavily implied Visenya poisoned Aenys so Maegor could take the throne--but notably, despite all along believing Maegor was a better fit for king, she actually did give Aenys sage advice. Only when it became clear he wasn't going to follow it did she poison him (it's implied).

The irony is that Visenya couldn't see that she was making MAegor a weak king in the exact opposite way as Aenys. Aenys was indecisive. Maegor was bullheaded and likely to stubbornly refuse compromise, and Visenya indulges this. She did this not necessarily out of duty, but out of love for her son--because Maegor was probably the one person who chose Visenya, by virtue of being her child. When it comes to Maegor, we see what Visenya is like when she loves without duty and without having to "share," and it involves her making decisions that, contrary to her other decisions, neglect wisdom (such as when it came to, like, officiating his wedding with Alys Harroway).

Plus, we see how Visenya resorted to some kind of black magic (presumably blood magic) to save Maegor's life. Here we see desperation, reaching for new measures--which was not anything she is reported to have done with Aegon.

So, yes, I think Visenya, like every person, wanted to be loved and enjoyed loving others. I don't think she romantically loved Aegon, but I do think she loved him as her brother. I think she was envious of Rhaenys, but more in a theoretical way that focused on the wrongs of duty rather than "why doesn't he love me like that."

Aria Sapphire and her sons are all hybrid Fairies and Mermaids.

The mermaid trait is automatic because when marrying into the family James became a merman and so obviously they are all mermaids. (Same goes with Jay Lambert and Sydney Sage now Lambert, though she was initially a mermaid and didn't become one, so that's why twins Graham and Melody are mermaids. I have to check if Melody's babies are mermaids too.)

But yeah, they are fairies. Fairies from the Fairies vs. Witches mod by SpinningPlumbob by the way! Not that being a mermaid or a fairy really comes in my gameplay storytelling right now since I don't really have an initial lore. But it might someday! Depends.

I might make canon soon that Aria really struggled with the Moonspell weakness, she got it shortly after giving birth to Alexander. This weakness makes it mandatory for her to be home early in the evening or living near the sea. Also Dahlia (Aria's mother) would turn into a mermaid EVERYTIME there would be water, she got this weakness in late adult stage.

James tried to help her and started researching mermaid mythology and also became a sea witch in the process but he never really made deals with anyone, he just has the ability to do so. Did he truly never...? (James might have a skeleton in the closet.)

Naruto Fandom as a whole = Tear-Wiping & Woobification of their Favourites by shamelessly blame Shifting, Projecting non-existent Mental Illness and Romantic feelings, Playing Pain Olympics, Victimizing their fav while Antagonizing other sub-fandom.

However, I found the right people from the other sub-fandom who don't spoon-feed & apologize for their favs and simply Call A Spade, A Spade. They adhere to canon and stick to the facts. So, it makes this place nice.

As for SNS Fandom - Extremely One-Sided (Sasuke-sided), Boring, Dull, Unfunny, Passive - Aggressive, Back-Bitching and Homogeneous Wannabe ((Meaning: If you don’t agree with the majority... then you are bullied))

My time for the 1 whole year I’ve spent in this SNS Fandom is majorly (98%) AWESOME, felt Blessed. Majorly due to the Anons who send me asks.

The Type of Asks I am receiving will never cease to amuse me. Not gonna lie, more than writing an answer, I always enjoy reading Anon Asks. Some of the asks, I don’t even want to let them leave my Inbox, I want to keep it forever, cradling like a baby. LOL... ANONS BE - EXTREMELY OBSERVANT

If Hilariousness is one side... Then I must say, Being Observant is another side... 

For example, 

I was mentioning in many of my posts that Sakura’s character is not a Bad Writing.. instead there was an intention behind why she was written like that... I mentioned about this fact in a casual manner without any emphasis on it.... And one anon picked up my words and asked Why is that... And that became one of the lengthy post I’ve written so far which has nothing to do with SNS but it ended up being SNS... 

In this Post, I casually mentioned that Sasuke is not an Arrogant person, in a random line... That ask was totally about Naruto’s Aesthetic appeal inside Narutoverse. But our SNS blogger (larrycherry07), pointedly asked me about that sentence as to why I feel that way... And I ended up making a lengthy post about Sasuke’s Arrogance .

Similarly, In this post, I was talking about how Kishimoto started to screw up SS/NH/NS/SK starting from Pain Arc.... and I just casually added a line as to how Kishi made Madara dirty... as a casual mention... And then another anon picked that line and asked me as to Why I feel Madara was nerfed like clown... And That became another lengthy post..

So, you see... The Anons are extremely Observant and when I get ask like that, I simply get astounded as to, “Yaaayy!!! People are reading even my lengthy rants and are paying attention to it... But on the other hand I should be extra responsible & careful about what I write, from here onwards”...

ANONS BE - TELEPATHIC

Just when I want to write a single post about some topic... Some telepathic anon would send an Ask reflecting what was in my mind, right out of nowhere and I am like... “....”..... Shocked to the core. 

Like how do they do that???? I swear, this can’t be happening in any other fandom, Right???

ANONS BE - HETEROGENOUS (being diverse)

One of the best thing I enjoy about these anons are... They really want to know about other stuffs too. i.e, things that doesn’t have anything to do with SNS or even SS/NH.... Someday, I get an ask about Deidara. Another day I get an ask about Obito. 

Which shows, they are invested in this series as a Whole just like I do... Which makes me feel truly connected to this Fandom.

ANONS BE - DESCRIPTIVE (SINCERE)

Most of the Anons send me ask explaining what they mean, why do they feel certain way and how do they come to that conclusion... And then they ask what do I think about those. You could clearly see the sincerity in their thought process and genuinely want to know more about this series. One such ask is this...

Again, this doesn’t only pertains to SNS but this also extends to other plotlines as well. This is something I wish that could’ve happened in other platforms back when I was a new comer to this fandom... 

ANONS BE - ‘EXPLAIN THIS’ (correcting my stance)

There is this ask where the Anon was asking my contradictory meaning to two similar things... I mean, In one of my previous posts, I’ve said “Sasuke catched Sakura and thanking her silently” and In another post, I’ve said, “Sasuke made a silent apology to Naruto through Tears in Chapter 698... Like he doesn’t need words”... So, it looks both of the acts are similar in nature.... And the Anon was asking my explanation... 

Which shows, they read my posts carefully... And remembers what I write... They connect the dots together and want to know more about it. If there’s any contradiction, they’d like to ask me about that as well... Which is very cool of them, tbh. 

ANONS BE - THOUGHT PROVOKING

Okay. Let me tell you.... Not every opinions are strongly developed from my own head... Sometimes, Anons help me develop it... Like, you subconsciously know about something but you won’t realize it or even spend your time to bother thinking about it... And then some Anon would randomly send an Ask and it’d just flare my subconscious thoughts up and help me hit the Euphoria.... 

One such moment was... 

After receiving this amazing Ask...

When I got that ask... it never gave me any sense of Epiphany... I casually answered what I felt at that time... Which is very evident from my changed current opinions as compared to that ask... [[ Not only women characters’ arc revolve around men... But men characters’ arc also revolve around men.. Which I didn’t realize before... I legit thought Kishi drew Hinata in an Obscene way... LOL ]]

But after sometime, when I started to ask myself some questions, “Why didn’t the author made Sakura and Hinata to be likeable??? Like why? I even love Obito who did everything wrong... but somehow I couldn’t bring myself to like these girls... What must be the reason?”

And whenever I ask these kind of questions related to women characters... I keep coming back to this ask... 

Then I started paying attention towards Tsunade more and more... And Realized she is not only a secondary side character but also developed with more attention. Like she has a Backstory... She has a Dream that doesn’t have anything to do with Dan... She is independent... She is Strong... She was given a position of Power... She wasn’t written to be like a bimbo with just boobs with no personality... All for a side character.... And I wondered, why didn’t Kishimoto did the same with Sakura though??? 

Then only these lines from that ask struck me...

I don't believe Kishi can't write romance, I also don't believe he can't write at least halfway decent female characters, he just chose not to... I felt like sensei not only deliberately wrote the women in a bad light, he made something akin to the development of something romantic, just to later deliberately sabotage them.

So, that’s why???!!!! 

The Author intentionally want us to hate these two women so that we would notice SNS bond better otherwise we would end up shipping NH/SS... And that’s why he sabotaged them at every given chance???? 

Then only I started to piece together the purpose of these women as a Beard... And also I realized that Kishi is not that misogynistic monster the fandom claim him to be... Instead I felt he is more disinterested in anyone who is not Naruto and Sasuke. Be it male or female.... 

I mean I subconsciously had no problems with Kishimoto’s writing of Women characters... It’s only after I got into the fandom I kept hearing these claims... But that ask totally flared up my inner thoughts more and more... And it confirmed many things in the long run... Which made me write so many post on that topic. 

Thanks to that Ask... which actually helped me realize something great about the Author’s nuances...

Now tell me, How many fandoms out there could say that they have people who could share and discuss their thoughts in a Funny, Sensible, Thought Provoking, Sincere manner all the while being super polite??? ON A CONSISTENT BASIS....??? I mean, in the Past 1 year... there’s not many days that goes without a post from me... Almost everyday, I post something... And 95% of those asks are unique in nature...

Well, yes... I get Hate Asks from time to time... But all of them are totally negligible and trivial when compared to all the other meaningful asks I receive.

And Yes... I don’t like this NS/SN discourse at all... Especially one having the moral high ground and invalidating the other based on Headcanons.

SNS fandom maybe boring and unfunny, sometimes downright irritating because of the passive aggressiveness & relentless one-sidedness.

I'm quite firm on following my own rules when writing. I made it the standard early on that the chapters start with the high sage and then go to Zuko's close POV. I don't expect to break that in-story.

That being said, there are several scenes I have half a mind to write from another perspective in a side-story, largely because Zuko isn't present for them. It hurt me to skip the entire Katara vs. the NWT argument due to the fact that Zuko was imprisoned, and I know there's going to be more of that coming. But... for now, I think I should focus on writing the actual story!

You can see glimpses of the guiding light of the moon back as far as the Kaijō match, but it was incomplete. My analysis is that it was when they were watching the Shūtoku match that the requirements were finally met when Hyūga turned homicidal over kinematics, allowing Moonlit Mind to form in time for the final prelims

Sorry to bother you but i'm desperate and desperate times call for desperate measures. i'm studying political science (in my first year) and i have one class about international relations theories. each student has been assigned one theory and we have to apply it to something. i got english school and my prof said i have to apply it to european union. the problem is, we are supposed to cover english school theory in the next semester. i know it's about international system, international society and global society but other stuff is confusing like hell. i don't even know how one applies the theory into practise. there are a couple of us who are struggling but the prof said we have to learn by ourselves. the assignment is worth 60% of our final grade and we're desperate. i was wondering (if you have time and space) if you could point me in the right direction? thank you for even reading this message. you're my role model. ❤️

Ok, I am not going to lie, I had to look up what you meant by "English school" because I had seen that denomination before, and I see what it is - I have read some of it, but never realized it was under a single common intellectual flag.

So. How does one "apply a theory to something" in International Relations ?

It would depend on what the goal of the theory is. Not all theories are trying to explain the same thing! the English School is a fairly traditional IR, positivist : it tries to explain why things happen or do not happen. So already, you are probably going to have to answer some variation of "why is the EU is the way it is? How come it is the way it is, instead of not being, or being something else?

Next you want to get familiar with the theory. And it is fun !!

Get yourself an International relations manual. I like Heywood's Global Politics, it's a classic and it's student-friendly. The Sage Handbook of International Relations and Oxford Handbook of International Relations are also my more "proper" academic go-to, and they will contain loads of literature you can refer to next.

Break down the theory.

This is probably the most important part. A theory usually has the following elements:

Assumptions

Mechanisms

Consequences

Identify those, for the English School, based on what you have read. This should allow you to get a broad idea of where the theory stands on the big questions of IR : who are the main actors ? What do they want ? What constrains them?

Continue getting more detailed with the theory

. It is time to actually read a few foundational texts. By this point, you will have noted some names popping up all the time, and it's time to sit down and get to it. Go for articles, the ones that people seem to refer to all the time. If you are not sure what to read from a specific author, go on Google scholar and look for their most cited text. read it, make notes on the theory (add more and more details on this handy document you now have summing up the theory!)

You now have a sufficient grasp on the theory (for the purpose of this exercise anyway - other exercise could require you to read more on the criticism of this theory!). You understand how the theory says things work, how it expects international relations to BE.

Your next question : ok, but are they right though ?

This is where the EU becomes useful. Virtually, you are going to compare how the theory would expect things to go for the EU, with how they actually went. It's the methodological equivalent of the "expectations vs reality" meme.

"The EU" is vague af though. It could be about the development of the EU, the current state of the EU, the EU's foreign policy.... so you might want to look at what the theory you are working on is the most interested in, what sort of phenomenon does it try to explain most of the time, and zoom in on that aspect of the EU.

At this point, once you have already started to brainstorm your own ideas, go look for people who have already answered that question.

Look for literature, specifically, on that theory, and on the EU. Start with the major authors you have already identifies, and see if they have written something about it ? Add this into your analysis (remembering to give full credits and references!)

Now it's time to come up with your actual assignement.

Outline the whole thing, focusing on STRUCTURE - which will depend on the word count. The prompt you have bee given could make a decent 2000 essay or a full blown 300 pages phd dissertation, and they are not going to cover the same things.

But it should still have some form of thesis, you overall conclusion at this point, some form of "yeah, the English got things right when it comes to the EU" or on the contrary "holy shit they are so wrong it's not even funny", or anything in-between, "they got some stuff right, but when it comes to X Y Z, it does not hold up".

Remember that at this point, you are very familiar with the theory, but your reader is not. They are going to need some form of quick TL;DR about the theory, before you move on to the EU. And then, you want to always hand the theory in one hand, the EU in the other, with each paragraph being a neat little "clap" bringing them together. When you open your hands again, do they fit nicely, or were they clearly not w good fit for each other?

I hope that is of help. Remember that there is no "right absolute answer" to this sort of exercise. The goal is to show that you have done the work, that you understand how theories in general, this one in particular, work, and what are their uses. Take it one step at a time, you've got this !

I’m just curious how Jake was with Reader when she was pregnant with Sage vs how Jake was with Dylan?

Does Sage ever ask Jake about when she was a baby/about her mom?

Will we ever see the course of the relationship ie) her and Jake getting together, finding out about Sage, the whole nine months and then leading up to her passing away?

I'm gonna put Jake and Dylan in italics so hopefully it makes a little sense.

So with Sage, because Jake and his girlfriend at the time had her at such a young age, he wasn't really there for it. He, as bad as it is to say, was pretty absent. He was more focused on music and the band, but he didn't expect for her to die during childbirth and him being stuck as a single parent. His relationship with Sage at the begging was very strained. He saw her as a burden almost, a symbol of what he lost. When Sage was hospitalized at 6 months, he realized then that he could possibly lose Sage, and lose the last piece of his girl forever. After that moment, he kinda snapped out of his 'playboy party' stage and really hunkered down on being a father. Jake has told Sage plenty about her mother (I'm gonna elaborate more on this in a Mother's Day fic. . .). I didn't ever really plan on elaborating on Jake and his girlfriend's relationship pre-Sage, mainly because I wanted to leave it open ended (it gives me more room creatively to work with)

Now with Dylan and Jake, because him and the reader are older, being 24/25ish their relationship is different. Jake is still plenty busy with the band and all, but he is more hands on. We saw glimpses of Jake being the nervous, anxious parent within the baby series (i.e the nursery chapter, the protective chapter) and you will see more of that Papa Bear Jake mode in 'The First Year'

also to clear this up because this might come up in questions/anons later: Jake and Dylan is a COMPLETELY different world than Jake and Sage. Think of it like the spider verse, (minus the crossover). Single!Dad Jake and Girl!Dad Jake are two different people:)
