NPMD SPOILER WARNING FOR ANYONE JUST SCROLLING BY! :]

okay so i have no clue how you feel about the au where after max was taken to the Black and white, things were sorta reversed and Richie and Ruth come back to life (basically like the tgwdlm au where everything is reversed when the meteor explodes)

but if you’re not like opposed to it, do you think that Ruth and Richie would get some comfort tickles to be shown everything is alright (including a bunch of hugs and tears and long talks and reassurance.) cause ruth was humiliated in her death and richie was implied to have an absolutely gruesome and violent death (with Sam puking when he saw the body and everything) so they’d definitely be a little messed up from everything

I gotta admit I’m a little out of touch with some of the popular au’s & headcanons in this fandom & most others because I just stick to the people I follow & I don’t venture into the tags very often, but I absolutely love these kinds of au’s!

There’s so many potential for au’s in Hatchetfield because it’s basically canon that there’s multiple timelines/universes, so technically anything can go!

I feel like they’d need a lot of therapy, but if they tried to talk about what actually happened the therapist would think they were legit insane, so that’s not really an option. Instead, they fall back on their friends who lived through these experiences. It’s the only place they feel safe enough to do so tbh

Pete, Steph & Grace are great listeners, & they all comfort them in their own ways, but the most important thing is just listening & being there to ground them. After the factory reset, Richie & Ruth are a lot more timid & sad than they used to be, which is to be expected. But that doesn’t mean their friends don’t try to help bring a smile to their face whenever possible. Pete will offer warm, comforting hugs & sneak in a few tickles to cheer them up after a much needed cry (something Ted would do for him after a rough day at school) & he’ll play video games with them in comfortable silence until they’re ready to talk again. After they come back, he’s not as mean of a ler as he used to be because he feels like they deserve to be handled with care. Steph on the other hand has the complete opposite tactic & thinks it would be worse to coddle them, so her techniques don’t change too much. She also prefers to comfort them by sharing music she thinks they’ll like & does the earbud sharing thing. Grace uses the opportunity to try & convert them, but she knows when she needs to be a friend & comfort them instead of their youth pastor. She actually gets pretty close with Ruth after all this. It takes longer than they would’ve liked, but things do return to some semblance of normal

All in all, I think Richie would handle the situation a bit better than Ruth just because he would make jokes about how he’s like an anime character now. “I’m just like Goku for real! :D”

I know it’s been a long time since I’ve written one, but au’s & crossovers really are my bread & butter I fucking love them! There’s infinite possibilities!

Dangerous

One thing I’ve learned about him over time? His chronic boredom is potentially dangerous. Potentially dangerous, and so pathological that if anti-boredom medication existed, he’d be maxed out.

We're out in the sparsely wooded area that lines the backyard beyond the house gates. I was a little nervous we’d get caught, but he assured me no one ever comes out here, other than him - and sometimes two of his roommates, Tom and Kyle. No one will get in our business.

Rain

It started out as a day like any other at Silverwood, I remember - mid-September, 2001, nothing out of the ordinary. Hadn’t been a cloud in the sky all day, but then, as evening faded into night, it began to rain torrentially – harder than it had in a long time, from what I can recall, and with gusts of wind in the vicinity of 80 or so klicks. Maybe even 90.

Jeff sat at the window seat near the front entrance – peering out the window, gleeful, like a child watching fireworks. “You think that ugly ass parasol on Linda Peacock’s balcony’s gonna go?”

Knowledge

He chuckles into my chest. “Have you ever considered you might not know me as well as you think?”

“No,” I say, and with conviction. “I know you better than anyone. You just don’t want to admit it.”

“Yeah, okay,” he says, with a nearly mocking laugh that infuriates me, that makes the monster buried within me want to squeeze him tight enough to break. A sharp prickle of fear and guilt tickles my spine. I reassure myself with the knowledge that that’s all in the past, that it’s buried far too deep within me now to know its way back to the surface. He brings me back out of myself, adding, “I’m not fucking damaged. I don’t know why you want to think I’m weak.”

“I never said any of that,” I say firmly. “Come on. You can’t actually think I believe that.”

Skip (skipping)

Once upon a time, on May 24th, 2000, an old silver van was violently T-boned by a Ford pick-up truck speeding through a red light at a minor intersection downtown. Apparently, the driver got distracted trying to figure out why the fuck his brand new CD was skipping. That CD caused two deaths, two injuries, and a ton of pissed off drivers. The first casualty was the driver of the pick-up truck, carrying two passengers who - luckily - survived. The second casualty was my mother, who, at the time, was on her way to pick me up from my support group session at the hospital.

Long story short, that’s why I’m in family therapy right now.

Fucked Up Tk Shit

This is for my own edification so no one else has to read this lol. I feel like a lot of times we twist headcannons to make the Thing work out for characters in media that we consume, ESPECIALLY in regards to superpowers, and because I’m a morbid little piece of shit I can’t help self-destructing those in my head as to how it would end in actuality

So, I have constructed a list of all the horrifying/angsty ways those headcannons would probably actually end if you applied it to the logic of the show/book. It is put under a read more because I did not hold back lol.

Trigger warns for death, injury, and non-con (I know the tk community is a safe space for escapism for a lot of people, including me usually, so I recommend not reading it if you would be easily hurt by negative connotations in association with the thing; I cope by imagining the worst possible scenarios that the Thing could end in, so that’s most of the reason why I made this, for explanation ahsfjhji)

1. BNHA 

- Denki probably has to hold back anytime he’s tickled and ends it almost immediatelly, because getting too out of control could make his powers act up and force him to accidentally electrocute someone and risk seriously hurting them

2. The Bright Sessions 

- Subscribing to the headcannon that Damien does like the Thing, his powers would act up and force people to tickle him, so he does his level best to repress that shit down because even if the other people did want to tickle him, the sheer amount of times that his powers would make them do it would become very non-consensual on his parts. Especially if they realize what’s happening, or know about his powers, and get freaked out and leave him, making him only feel shittier about the whole situation

- Mark would most likely get freaked out over tickling as it makes him lose control. There’s probably been a couple moments where he’s tentatively let Sam or someone try it, and every time he freaks out, which isn’t great, because it forces him to teleport if he’s around her, and,,,, yeah

- Joan hasn’t been touched, let alone tickled, in years on end, and would self-combust if given even the slightest modicum of affection in that area. Probably engaged in tickle fights with Mark when she was little, and though she understands why the subject makes him uncomfy now, she can’t help but feel remorse at losing that form of connection with her brother

- [I was gonna do Caleb and Adam but I simply can’t fuck them up, I love them too much]

- Damien doesn’t ever tickle people because he can’t be sure if he’s forcing them to hold still and say they like it or if they actually want it

3. Beastars 

- If Legoshi was tickled by Haru, they run the risk of him accidentally seriously hurting/biting her off instinct, similar to when they tried to bang it out, and it’s possible he might accidentally fling her into something or knock her off too hard while trying

4. Durarara 

- If Shizuo were to tickle someone, he might accidentally crush in their ribcage or some shit due to not realizing his own strength

- Izaya probably does like tickling but does not have a single person who would be willing to do that to him, and the only other person who knows, Shinra, has called it weird and forced Izaya to repress the interest more

5. Mob Psycho 100 

- Shigeo probably isn’t ticklish, or at least doesn’t really laugh and react like his friends do, and he feels a supreme sense of jealousy every time he watches his friends engaging in silly tickle fights

6. AOT 

- Due to the sheer amount of trauma Levi has induced and his feelings around trusting others and touch in general, being tickled would probably send him into a full blown panic attack

7. Be More Chill

- The Squip definitely made fun of Jeremy for liking tickling and he had the whole zappy thing happen whenever he thought about it

8. All For The Game

- Both Neil and Andrew probably can’t stand being tickled without it triggering something in them

9. Camp Camp

- Max definitely has never been tickled in his life, and doesn’t even know what it feels like

10. Detroit: Become Human

- As much as I hate to say it (and will definitely be writing fics claiming the opposite), androids can’t feel sensation and therefore wouldn’t be ticklish or ever get to experience that

11. Gorillaz 

- If Murdoc were to tickle 2d, it would most likely be in an abusive, non-con way, often going far past his limits and ignoring any pleas for him to stop, purely for shits and giggles because he’s an asshole

12. Inside Job

- Bear-O had a tickle setting on him that would engage whenever he thought Reagan needed cheering up, and it traumatized her so bad that she can’t handle that kind of physical contact anymore

- Since he was a child, Brett was told by his family that it was weird that he liked tickling, as well as by peers and past girlfriends, so he just assumes that it must be just a weird Him thing, and has a huge amount of shame around the issue

13. Fullmetal Alchemist

- Sometimes Alphonse will stay up late and try to somehow replicate the feeling of tickling through his armor and can’t help the disappointment he feels every time when it obviously doesn’t work

That’s all I can think of for right now, I’m sure there are more but they’re not coming to me right now.

charles fucking killed it and he deserves all the head pats and snuggles in the world. that’s all he wants tonight. he knows he didn’t win. but who the fuck cares. he won his own battle and did it fair and square. not to mention he did it looking amazing too. so yeah - tonight is a soft, tired night. just lay together watching some sappy film you both love. him lay with his back to your chest just happily talking away. buzzing whilst eating the room service you ordered. and just to tire him out one last time before bed - a lazy, sloppy, cute handjob where he just keeps moaning at the praise being whispered in his ears. then falling asleep just wrapped around eachother.

The team things charles wants to go out and celebrate and while he is excited, he’s mostly just relieved? The season really took its tole and then some on him and he hasn’t been able to actually relax in so long, hasn’t been able to have a movie night without stressing or be your giggly little boy or make you lunch or cuddle with you for hours.

He’s just… he’s missed all the calm moments between the two of you. Sure he’s had some of them, but they’ve always been you trying to calm Charles down and look after. He just wants an evening where you can both chill together. That’s what he wants for his celebration (and okay yeah a bottle of champagne can be split between you two).

He does, however, pay for the entire team to go out? He wants everyone who wants to go out and have a good time to do it free of charge because they’ve all more than earned it.

But as for himself… it’s straight back to the hotel.

You and him order far too much room service, none of which is on his diet but that’s fine because the season is finally over.

Originally Charles wanted to do a movie night, but then he was cuddled in bed with you, sharing the food you ordered and suddenly all he wanted was just to chat? He can’t remember the last time he was relaxed enough to talk shit with you for hours and it’s exactly what he wants.

The only topic not talked about is F1. There is zero motorsport talk whatsoever.

And to be honest half of what’s discussed is nonsense (because no Charles, penguins are not birds of pray), but it’s just the nicest thing. And of course he’s always cuddled close to you, giggling whenever you slip your hand under his soft shirt to tickle or pinch him.

He gets a little hard towards the ends of the night, a result of being so relaxed and so close to you. You’re more than happy to slip your hand into his boxers and give him a slow hand job until he makes a mess in his boxers.

He’s so sweet the entire time, letting out little gasps and whines as he slowly rocks his hips into your hand. You praise him too of course, which only makes it more intense.

And then you remove his boxers, using the fabric to clean off any cum that’s on him and then throw them off the bed to be dealt with in the morning because Charles is now ready to sleep.

He sleeps against your chest of course, and when he wakes he can’t wait to get out of there and on holiday.

Tickletober Day 9: Unusual Tool

I think avoiding alcohol references when writing Sam and Max is important for maintaining their anti-noir tone. But at the same time the thought that Max can chug a whole keg of high strength lager and remain unaffected, whereas Sam is sent crashing down the stairs by a single glass of sauvignon blanc, really tickles me, and I think the rule of "I lol'd" supercedes all others. I rest my case

For the tickle therapy AU, what if Sam was afraid to overstep boundaries or push Dream too far, so he originally started with 10 minutes max or a complete session. It became obvious pretty quickly that Dream loved it but couldn’t admit it. Eventually, Dream asks for Sam to keep going after the 10 minutes and they find out that the 30 minute mark is where Dream starts to get tired. From there on, their sessions are usually around 30 minutes because they find out that going much longer makes Dream tired for the rest of the day, instead of keeping him happy and helping him open up.

A bit of angst incoming, but it’s hurt/comfort. Dream has a particularly rough day and has a bad reaction to Sam coming in to start the therapy. He isn’t violent or angry, but he’s sat in the corner with his arms wrapped around his stomach and his knees to his chest. Sam sits a few feet away and just offers his presence. Dream immediately tells him what’s going on, which is why Sam knows this method is working. So this session is gentle, pulling giggles instead of laughter, and now they have a signal for days like that.

I imagine that if the therapy were to continue after Dream escaped, it would start that way so Dream could warm back up to it. Especially since Punz and Foolish could be apart of it, they’d need to build the trust.

i can imagine a situation post-prison, where dream finally musters up the confidence to talk about his experience in prison with punz. of course the tickle therapy comes up, and of course dream struggles to go into massive detail,, but something that stands out to punz is his response to his question; “Do you think it helped.”

theres a pause, a shift in dream’s usually un-phased posture, a subtle hint of hesitancy in his shoulder shrug, and a small “A little…” following by “It reminded me of old times.”

and so punz kindly offers that they continue it, much to dreams absolute shock and horror. i kinda like to imagine that it starts as dream just demanding that he gets to get punz back. like not denying it. but also demanding something in return. which then just leads to them to a full blown tickle fight as they attempt to decide who goes first. like just trying to pin each other down and insisting that the other should undergo their tickle therapy first :(

(Dis)Enchantment (haven't seen the later seasons just yet, but I loved it so far);

Daria (you'd be surprised at how relatable it has become in modern days. And people used to shame me for being cynical back then);

Futurama (haven't seen the new episodes, though. I'll stick to the classics);

Scoobynatural (ignore the fact that it's a Supernatural crossover. Seeing the Mystery, Inc. Gang have an existential crisis is always a treat);

Rob Zombie's The Haunted World of El Superbeasto (this one's a movie. Described as an "X-Rated Scooby-Doo", and you get to see nazi zombies being exterminated, predating South Park's The Stick of Truth);

Venture Bros. (again, this could act as a great palate cleanser if you've watched Velma);

Bob's Burgers (it's a better Nuclear Family-type of show than The Simpsons and Family Guy. 'Nuff said.);

I also remember watching Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law, Home Movies, The Critic and John Callahan's Quads as a teen, and they were quite solid from what I remember.

I haven't seen these ones, but I'm surely interested in Primal, Superjail!, Del Toro's Pinocchio, Solar Opposites, Peepoodo and the SuperFuck Friends and The Boondocks. I also wanna see Mortal Kombat's newest animated movies, they look so amazing!

Despite having S-tier animations, I absolutely hated Devilman Crybaby and Castlevania. Major buzzkill, those shows.

And I'm sure, positive and certain that Sam & Max: Freelance Police could've made a really neat adult show if Steve Purcell and crew weren't stuck dealing with censorship sensitivities (they were held back by Fox Kids censors back then).
