COUNTDOWN TO SAMHAIN - 1 DAY LEFT

Ancestor altar ready and candles are already burning. Today is ritual day to protect my home and my family from malevolent spirits that will roam tomorrow. I have used my ancestor altar for cleansing and have asked my ancestors for protection of my home and hearth while watching over my loved ones.

One day left, it is crazy how Moon Pearl Apothecary is 1 year's old ALREADY🥳. How time flies, how much this business has grown. I really appreciate everyone of you for trusting me and my business with you and yours.

Samhain celebrates renewal and the cycles of life and death.

A year of beauty. A year of plenty.

A year of planting. A year of harvest.

A year of forests. A year of healing.

A year of vision. A year of passion.

A year of rebirth.

Rituals for Samhain:

1. Think of the candy you give to young trick-or-treaters as offerings to the ancestors, who return as the children of a new generation. Imagine that with each treat, you also give a blessing.

2. Gather your friends and family and set out pictures of your beloved dead. Light a candle (perhaps in a jack-o-lantern), then tell their stories and give thanks for what they've given you.

3. Gaze into candle flames, envisioning the renewal you want to support in your own life, community, and the world.

4. Share your visions, write or draw them, or set out objects on your altar that represent the rebirth you hope for.

5. Share food and leave a bit of each dish on the altar (or outside, near the compost) as an offering for the ancestors.

Ce soir de Samhain, @samourai.des.fleurs et moi avons traversé la brume froide du royaume des esprits afin d'aller dans l'ombre du monde alors que le mur du silence devenait plus fin que nos paupières pour célébrer la fin d'un cycle.
