I genuinely think that by some paradox DC was WAY more inclusive and "woke" in the '90 than now. Like so many POC characters, the firsts queer relationship in comics, many more disabled characters and representation than today. Not all of them were written well, mind you, but at least they were doing something instead of just showing up during Pride moth and then disappearing in limbo forever after a couple of cheesy lines. And we are not talking enough of all the disabilities erasure in the last years.

But when an old debt is called in, Richard must re-assemble the group to look into the mysterious death of a member of the Rollright Coven.

Trail of Cthulhu: Fearful Symmetries: Arc Two (Session 2) Lowell Francis runs for Alun R., Paul Rivers, Sherri, and Will H The circle continues their investigation of the happenings at Convivial House. Talking to locals they begin to put together a picture of events happening in the two Quintons. Richard remains at the house overnight and has a vision of the hungry darkness lying to the north. Eventually they begin to piece together a picture of the sinister events surrounding Bradbury House and the grove which lies upon its grounds.

Tomorrow City (Session 1 of 2) Lowell Francis runs for Bryan, Cale P, Jo Lene, and Robyn Choi The first half of a two-part series of Tomorrow City, a new dieselpunk TTRPG from Osprey. We set up characters, jump into the action, and afterwards give the crew their new assignment.

Godbound: Sundered Cycles (Session 27) Lowell Francis runs for Dan Brown, Ethan Harvey, Patrick Knowles, Sherri, and Tyler Lominack In the aftermath of their defeat of the Angels, the pantheon considers what to do with Neeharik and the nation of Geznya as a whole. Ransom and Ivesro work to calm and organize the citizenry, and then look to the wild sorcery schools. Darius begins to find their place in all of this. Threadless constructs on several levels. Tasos tries to organize his found family and begins to extends the dreamscape.

Against the Monster Andrea Rick runs for Madelancholy, Robbie Boerth, and Sabine V. A story game about a monster hunt, the good of the monster, and the monstrosity of the hunters (currently crowdfunding on Kickstarter). We hunt a ghost in a desert and muse about loss, rage, and memory.

Darius decides to build a shrine and looks to get interns. Threadless decides to build a dragon, or an angel, or both.

What/Who: Pan Visibility Day, on May 24, is to celebrate and encourage acceptance and understanding of pan people and identity (such as pansexual, panromantic, pansensual, panalterous, panaesthetic, and panplatonic).

Brief History: In the 1960s-1980s, pansexual was often used to describe musicians, icons, styles, lyrics, movements, etc. in particularly the glitter/glam rock scene, to indicate androgyny, fluidity, and universal appeal.

In the 1980s-1990s, pansexual was often used in kink communities to indicate that an event, party, club, person, sex, etc. was open to people of all genders, sexes, and sexualities.

before getting into this i want to preface that his moon and his venus kind of contradict each other in the aspect that one side is sorta the romantic/sympathetic/perceptive (pisces moon) and the other side (aquarius venus) is like WAAAAAHHHHTTTT???? hi, it’s me, i’m the problem it’s me he will most likely not feel very emotionally reassured in his relationships with his pisces moon. he just worries about everything and anything

i got you babe his pisces moon makes him aware (intuitvely) of his partners needs. it's almost scary how he can predict what his partner wants/needs/feels before they even verbally express it. that being said he may not act on it

feet firmly planted on the ground he's a very down to earth kind of guy and can relate to people's pain/sorrow very well

june was born and raised in denver. she had very hard-working devoted parents. her mother was a successful lawyer while her father worked in banking, leaving their family well off. she has two younger siblings that she's looked after since they were young as their parents were always busy working. they made dinner, cleaned the house, and got themselves and their siblings to school on time. it wasn't as though their parents didn't love or care for them but they had been busy providing for the family. june just assumed her duties as the oldest sibling without any hesitation.

though this home life led june to feel like she needed to do more than just having a desk job. she was so used to always having something to do and work on with her hands that by the time she got to college to study business, she quickly grew bored. though she attempted to ride it out to appease her parents as they'd paid for her tuition. june met jacqueline who quickly became her best friend. during her first year in college is when she met her first husband.

it was a very quickly evolving relationship as they had been nowhere near ready to enter a serious relationship when june became pregnant. at the request of their parents, june and her boyfriend at the time were rushed into a marriage to legitimize the pregnancy. they'd stayed together until after college and when june decided to become a firefighter. it was until june's accident that they gained perspective in their life.

during duty, june had run into an apartment when hearing that there were children trapped in one of the rooms that had been blocked by the fire and collapsing building. she'd hadn't had the time to properly check her gear before going in as the situation was quickly turning dire. june managed to get the kids out but not before being trapped under the rubble herself.

the next thing she knew she was waking up in a hospital with jackie by her side. while her first marriage hadn't been a bad one, it was still a loveless marriage. the accident was a close call and june didn't want to die not doing what she wanted to. from then on it was jackie and june together. their families blending together and a few years down the line the two decided to adopt together.

as time went on, june was voted fire chief and as since held this position. she doesn't want to retire for years and will continue to work as long as she can.

DC Comics Celebrates The 90s This November

DC Comics is all about the 90s. The company will celebrate the decade with the return of WildC.A.T.s, a Waller vs. WildStorm mini-series, a WildStorm 30th Anniversary Special, Batman / Spawn: The Classic Collection, and 90s themed variant covers in November.

WildC.A.T.s are getting a new on-going series from writer Matthew Rosenberg and artist Stephen Segovia, which will spin out from Batman: Urban Legends. The HALO Corporation gathers a crew under the leadership of Cole “Grifter” Cash that will have to work together in the shadows to make the world a better place...no matter who they gotta kill. Too bad they are about to cross paths with The Court of Owls.

WildC.A.T.s #1 features a cover by Stephen Segovia, variant covers by Jim Lee, Stanley “Artgerm” Lau, and Ben Oliver, 1:25 connecting variant cover by Jeff Spokes, 1:50 variant cover by Alan Quah, 1:100 variant cover by Dan Hipp, 1:150 pencil variant by Jim Lee, and a ‘90s Cover Month variant by Brett Booth and Sandra Hope. The comic goes on sale on November 8, 2022.

Waller vs. WildStorm is a four-issue mini-series for DC’s Black Label from writers Spencer Ackerman and Evan Narcisse and artist Eric Battle. During the ‘80s Cold War intelligence agency Checkmate is pulled in two directions. On one side is the public face of the agency Jackson King, aka The Armored Battalion, former leader of Stormwatch. One the other side is Adeline Kane, whom King suspects is engineering horrors. Unknown to King, Kane also has a new ally, young Amanda Waller, who has her own ideas as to how metahumans can serve their country without worrying about all that pesky honor, dignity, and long lives.

Waller vs. WildStorm #1 (of 4) features a main cover by Jorge Fornés, a variant cover by Eric Battle, and a 1:25 variant cover by Mike Perkins. The comic goes on sale on November 15, 2022.

WildStorm 30th Anniversary Special #1 is a 100 page special issue that pays homage to Jim Lee’s WildStorm Productions. The special will reprint, in periodical form, short stories from WildStorm: A Celebration of 25 Years hardcover as well as now stories featuring WildStorm characters in the DC line, charting their future in the DCU. The special hails from creators Jim Lee, Matthew Rosenberg, Joshua WIlliamson, Brandon Choi, J. Scott Campbell, Brett Booth, Ed Brisson, Bryan Hitch, and more.

WildStorm 30th Anniversary Special #1 features a main cover by Jim Lee, variant covers by Sozomaika, Bryan Hitch, Joshua Middleton, J. Scott Campbell, and Lee Bermejo, a 1:25 Glow in the Dark cover by Jeff Spokes, and a 1:50 Foil variant by Sozomaika. The special goes on sale on November 29, 2022.

DC is reprinting Doug Moench, Chuck Dixon, Alan Grant, and Klaus Janson’s Batman / Spawn: War Devil #1 and Frank Miller and Todd McFarlane’s Spawn / Batman into a single collection titled Batman / Spawn: The Classic Collection.

Batman / Spawn: The Classic Collection goes on sale on November 15, 2022. In progress cover artwork above by Greg Capullo and Todd McFarlane. In related news, a new Batman / Spawn by McFarlane and Capullo releases on December 16, 2022.

Throughout November DC Comics will release over 15 ‘90s themed variant cover of many of its comics.
