SATURN 23'-24'

So here's my interpretation of Saturn. I have been doing extensive research on the history of the imaging of Saturn and it's natural colors too. I had a lot of fun doing this and making an edit of where the Saturn's atmosphere is moving and as well as their rings. 🪐 I have been exploring and creating art for a project in my planetary astronomy class.

I created this peice one night when I got my first look at the prompt List for Inktober. I knew immediatly when I saw "Ring" as the first prompt that I wanted to do saturn. I didn't wanna do something everyone would expect. I wanted to do something that was a risk for me and choosing to draw saturn was that risk not only becuase I never really draw the planets (despite my clear obsession with the galaxy and space) but also becuase it required me to really create a feeling for the work. I wanted to create a sense of exploration with the atmosphere and the little travler that I built but also a sense of loniless that I had been feeling at the time. There's a duality in everyone. Feeling of excitment, fear, and loniless exists in everyone and when life changes it's my belief that these feelings connect like longlost friends and was the relationship I wanted to convey the most in the end. This piece was a difficult and fun way to kick to the month off for sure! Throught this month I plan to push myself every day with new challenges and new ideas one prompt at a time! To me Inktober is the begining of a promise to myself to learn to take time out of my busy life for the hobby that I feel has gone so negelcted over the years. It's the begging of a promise to myself to learn to give myself time to work on my craft in a way I haven't previously belived I'd be able to do and I hope you guys enjoy yourselves as I post and take you all along this journey with me.
