i love love love so many things about savage and tcw in general but i think my favourite thing about him, and the thing that pulled me in the most is his silent reactions to a lot of things. he's very expressive imo. the animators did a really amazing job at telling his story and showing off his personality through his facial expressions. he's so interesting to watching !! i know it's a collective hc that he's a listener not a talker, but what he doesn't say out loud, he says with his face and body language

Alright, Maul is a light sleeper and wakes up with any small movement you make during the night. On the other hand, I believe Savage is a heavy sleeper and snores a lot. However, if he wakes up and notices you've moved away during the night, he'll pull you close to him again.

The practice of making the ascent to the cave beneath the Witch's Horn fell out of use after 10 BBY. The lair, once the roost of the chirodactyl called Gorgara, retains hydraatis acid markings left by former Nightbrothers who made the journey up the peak.

Startling examples of early offerings have been preserved in the cave: tokens for the chirodactyl made in exchange for the health and protection of the brothers, suggesting a practice in sympathetic magic, or that there was a shared belief that the chirodactyl — one of the oldest of its species on Dathomir — may have possessed magical powers.

Dathomir's "brotherhood", it seems, extends beyond concern for the individual, often petitioning the creature to grant favour to those in need: wellness, good fortune, safe keeping for the smallest and most vulnerable of the Nightbrother warriors subject to the dangers of their world.

Savage Opress is a freaking alpha male. He’s the peak specimen of Nightbrother masculinity. And he knows it. Being changed by Talzin’s magick definitely had draw backs but he in no way minded some of the perks. Getting shy glances from Nightsisters and jealous Nightbrothers (some of those are admiring too if we’re being very honest, but he’s only interested in females.) Still. Savage enjoys the attention. The fact that his desirability keeps him alive… well. That helps too.

Val x Savage as Parents HCs

Because the thought of it is so adorable

Savage being a crying mess when his daughter Mara was born and Val in awe seeing how tiny she is in his arms

Their second child Kali being the trouble maker daughter and Val being the one to discipline her every time Brother Viscus caught her doing something

When their third child was born, it was a son; and Savage got emotional when he decided to name him Feral

Zejinn being their youngest child and third daughter and Savage would dote on her like he did with his other two daughters

Savage being the one to teach all four of them the ways of the Force while Val is the one that teaches the kids some basics like hunting, cooking, etc

The Opress kids telling the other Dathomirian kids their dad could beat up their dad every time they get into a disagreement

Val wondering where Savage went but eventually finding him in Zejinn’s room sitting on a little stool with a macabre tea party (he’s got beef with her frankensteined-tooka doll)

Feral being a total mama’s boy but Savage being the one defending him for it

Val teaching the kids Man’doa but accidentally slipping in swear words ever so often (Savage was no better with Dathomirian)

Val and Savage 1000% adapting the mama bear/papa bear modes whenever the kids are in danger

Val and Savage taking turns on breaking up the fights whenever the kids get into petty arguments

Savage doing the work around their home while Val’s pregnant no matter how many times she said she could handle it

There is nothing more than Savage loves than having all his little lemon loaves in his arms.

It might be one of few good things that have come out of his transformation. He is able to have all three of them in his arms with little effort!

It’s just fantastic being able to hold one but knowing that he is getting hold them all? He’s just ecstatic! It really helps as they like to curl up on his chest at night. He doesn’t care that they are getting a little heavier, he gets to hold them and make sure they know he’s here with them....

Sooo this one I really like and since this is the first time writing something like this please be nice to me ♡

Maul:

Would be absolutely overwhelming at first

When he realized that he actually gets to start a family life he becomes more open

He already is lovely to his beloved one

Imagine him with children

At first he would be very careful (just like uncle Savage 😬)

I HC him that he wouldn't be there often regarding is activity in Crimson Dawn or maybe one Mandalore

He tries to keep the business away from the family 

When the kids got older, he wouldn't know what to do with them

But after a while he starts playing with them but he would always have his "coolness factor" 😎

Tried cooking once but totally failed 

He tried to stop his crime activity but he failed…he just cannot got to a normal live

So he will be the best dad and husband he could ever be and shower his loved ones in love, hugs and kisses and protects the from everything and everyone that tries to harm them!

Savage:

Would totally adore his little ones and his beloved one

I think, he would act similarly to Maul

Seeing him holding his newborn is a really cute pic

He is always afraid to hurt them 

Because he is so big and he his holding his little beans

Would stay at home and helping as good as he can

Tries to clean their home but sometimes fails 

Because he is to big and clumsy because of that

I totally see him running around with his little beans and having fun like a little child

Would watch is loved one sleeping while holding their little beans in their arm

He would try to sneak into the bed and cuddle with them

If not black, which color of choice would the siths outfit themselves in?

dark grey

vader: let’s face it, he’s a goddamn Depressed Bastard. if he’s not in black, he’d probably be in a color so dark it’s barely distinguishable from black. perhaps a very dark red.

sidious: we’ve already seen this bastard in things outside of black. marvelous purples look excellent on the senate.

maul: it might not be his go-to at first, but eventually he discovers that white looks very good on him! especially if combined with a darker red (darker than his skin). i think he’d be open to some funky color accents as well.

savage: he looks handsome in blue, especially navy! i think he’d favor grey as a neutral color, or very warm browns. 

asajj: red or purple! what can she say? it complements her skin tone. she might even reach for pink every now and then, but it will probably be a dusty rose (not hot pink, ew). 

dooku: he’d probably stick to a wide range of neutrals, as befitting an older man like himself. though the count would definitely use a splash of color here and there to complete his outfits.

kylo: as much as he would deny it, kylo would favor blues and purples much like his mother does in her older years. of course he’s gotta be edgy and wear bright-ass red every now and then.

nihilus: he likes combining a lot of colors, as long as there are neutrals/subdued hues to prevent it from looking garish. kind of like kente---colorful without blinding your eyes in the process.

grievous: autumn colors are his favorites, as well as beige to complement them. one of his most treasured gifts was a red/orange/gold scarf from dooku (not because it was from him, because the scarf was very cute).

inquisitor: i think he would be subconsciously influenced by his old jedi temple uniform...gold and whites are lovely colors indeed. otherwise, he’d probably go with the classic pau’an reds.

lana: we already know she’s a fan of green, especially subdued/mossy green. i think she would enjoy earthy tones in general, as long as they’re not too bold or gaudy.

Zabraks and Biting

Maybe it was instinct, maybe something left over after years and years. Even still it was not uncommon that Zabrak significant other would be littered with bites. 

Slightly sharper teeth that leave indents upon flesh. Should the bite be a bit too deep there is gentle care to tend to the bite, however a bit of pride that the mark will be there for some time. 

Often upon thier love’s neck, shoulder....at times some others with bites all about them.
