Julia Stiles is really in her nostalgic era right now
A few days ago she read the ‘10 Things I Hate About You’ poem at a book festival and today she did the ‘Save The Last Dance’ dance on SNL

I thought I'd share my headcanons for Necrofriggians and how they handle their young. These ideas will be featured in my story, but I wanted to go ahead and put them out there since it wouldn't do any harm. Plus, I want to hear what people think of the takes, too.
Necrofriggians flare their wings out to intimidate predators or threats. It's like how an animal's fur will stand on end to make them look bigger and potentially ward off the threat. I based this one on a scene from Save the Last Dance. When Gwen, Kevin, and Julie arrive at the nest, Big Chill stands up and unfurls his wings, telling them to go away. I took this as him trying to make himself look scarier to ward them off since he perceived them as threats to the nest.
Like canon suggests, Necrofriggians are very independent from birth. The babies don't rely on their parent for anything, really. This is due to them being in the relative safety of space, where there's a noticeable lack of predators. This doesn't mean the parents don't possess protective instincts, though. Despite not being heavily involved in the development of their offspring, Necrofriggians are still fiercely protective of them. They'll even care for and protect larvae that aren't their own.
Even though the babies don't need their parents, they're still very affectionate towards their parent and they enjoy having them around.
Necrofriggians born off-world still travel to Kylmyys and live in the space outside of the planet, feeding on solar plasma from a nearby sun. Once they're old enough, they migrate onto the planet.
Necrofriggians can instinctively recognize their parent, siblings, or offspring. This still goes for Ben despite him being in human form. Any of the Little Chills can still recognize him, no matter the form, and he can tell which are his and which aren’t.
Edit: I wanted to say that anyone can use these headcanons in their content if they want to! The only requirement is that you don't claim the ideas as your own.

White Girls in the Early 2000s Took a Crash Course in Blackness and Discovered Their Voices . . . Somehow? 🤷🏽♀️
Get ready for the teen dance film showdown! Today, we're deep diving into Save the Last Dance and Bring It On. Which film holds up better after 20+ years?
I’ve said it before, but my love of movies was much more shallow as a teenager than it is now. I used to see movies as a way of turning my brain off and just blindly enjoying a fantasy. I wasn’t critical of what I watched the way I am now. And, so a lot of movies I watched back then escaped some much-needed scrutiny.
I can’t even remember when I last watched Save the Last Dance, let alone how I…

Save the Last Dance: Sara [ISFP 9w8]
MBTI Type: ISFP
Sara is a bundle of emotions, but she doesn’t share them with other people until she is good and ready. She has carried around the guilt and self-hatred for being so “selfish” as to allow her mother to get killed in a car accident rushing to see her audition without saying a word for months, and shuts down any conversation that brings up her mother, because she isn’t ready to…
