Gotta say, I think bonzo is probably the most disturbing and unfuckable creature mr sims has ever created but I know you monster fuckers out there will try your damn hardest
god i NEED to talk about miguel vs. literally every other spider's fighting style. he uses blunt force. he slams and claws and is clunky and heavy. its so so different to the other spiders who are light and airy, utilising agility instead and it reflects a much darker version of spiderman i think. god it was so cool
look we all bitch and moan about tumblrs lack of a working search feature but you haven't known hell until youve spent three consecutive hours on instagram searching for one very very specific reel
Were we all traumatised by shifttok or 😭😭 ?? I keep seeing blog posts about loving shiftblr (me too tbh) and being grateful they made the switch. I get that people over there are really judgemental and police what you can and can not script, but OMFG 💀
Is it THAT bad ?? I was never on shifttok, so I have no idea what yall went through. I was thinking about venturing over there, but now I'll probably just stay in the safety of shiftblr. Yall are our strongest soldiers
Been playing project zomboid (incredibly harsh survival game with hordes of zombies) on an online server, with a lot of people I wouldn't normally hang out with (random dudes mostly) and something really struck me as lovely.
When I arrived, one specific guy scooped me up to take me on a scavenging trip with him and his pals, gave me weapons and armor and a bag, found a car for me, etc etc. It was as random as 'hey wanna come along?' When seeing me pathetically waffling around the spawn zone. This made me decide to stay, to try persisting through the many deaths of a new player without many skills yet.
And almost always, when I'd die, a random person would casually swoop in to help me get my stuff back. Every time I tried to repay them they waved it off.
Eventually I got established and was able to help others- bringing them to get their stuff, giving them supplies, denying all payment just like everyone has for me. Then these newbies who stuck around would turn around and do the same for others. It's had a compounding effect- one person is helped, and they help others, over and over again.
It just reminds me of how humans are at their core. One kind act inspired another, and another, and another.
We are wired to help each other. To lift each other up when facing disaster and a common goal. Modern society may have distanced us from each other and from our core instincts, but in certain places it shines through that we got this far by sticking together and supporting each other.
They like to visit their favorite human every once and a while. [Original Characters]
The building is haunted, but the ghosts get attached to the workers [specifically the older ones who work there.]
The new workers are afraid of encountering them [most probably don't even know they exist and think it's just a rumor] while the older workers are used to them.
They're especially fond of this one guy in particular. He's been working here for 30+ years. They treat him like your indoor cat and he leans into their affection because he's a lonely starved old man who everyone sees as strict and indifferent.
[Note: This affection only extends to the older workers of the haunted building. (New workers have been reported fainting around their presence.) Others will not be treated as nicely. Please keep your distance and notify guards during an encounter.]
