Hear ye hear ye! I’ve some new clownery speculation (or, new in the sense that I’ve not yet seen this discussion until now; apologies if it’s been discussed already!) 🤡🏴‍☠️

Following the disappointing albeit expected fiasco that was the WB Livestream lol, I tried to do some digging on the internet, searching for any little possible little breath of life from Season 2. I ended up stumbling upon a twitter thread (shoutout to ClaireGregoryAU!) that talked about episodes finalizing.

It pointed to the episodes listed on Writers Guild of America, aka the screenshot above, and how most of them finalized in February. HOWEVER, one episode, aka episode 7, finalized later than the rest, on March 7th.

It then went on to explain that the first trailer dropped 100ish days after the season 1 episodes finalized. They all finalized in November of 2021, and the trailer dropped in February.

SO. If HBO is going to stick to a similar schedule, where does that put us for a trailer drop?

JUNE.

If it went 100 ish days out from the 7th episode’s final credit dates, that would land us in the beginning of June (potentially the 1st because I feel like that’s something they’d shoot for again for the ✨pizazz✨ lol. Or…perhaps…June the 3rd). If they went from the later date, that would put us towards the late middle.

Which, subsequently, would point towards a July/August release date for Season 2 itself, since the first season began airing about a month-ish after the trailer released.

MUCH later than a lot of us were anticipating, I know. I personally was expecting them to RELEASE the season in June, so that puts it back a month or two later than even I expected.

And AGAIN, it’s all still speculative. But it would make sense as to why HBO can’t even provide information yet. Maybe the fact that an episode finalized just a month ago still means that things need to be ironed out.

Life/Blog Update

So...I have some news everyone! I am officially set to have eye surgery on my left eye, the eye that started it all, on June 23rd! Because of this, I will not be allowed to have much screen time for 7-10 days after surgery.

From around 11 on June 23rd until July 3rd (or until my doctor tells me otherwise), my blog will be run almost entirely on queue. I will probably still check in once a day, because my OCD has to clear notifications at least once a day, lol, but I won't be active aside from this. But feel free to interact with my blog as much as you want to, I will love seeing everything (literally, lol) after my recovery!

The content that you will see on my blog during this time will be the regular two posts I reblog in the mornings: a quote and a random post that I want to share. For the afternoons, I have a couple awesome Wild Kratts/Zach reblogs scheduled for each day. I also some original content (maybe another Wild Kratts Poll, a headcanon or two, maybe some photosets or silly photo edits) set to come out every few days!

This surgery has been a long time coming, I have been suffering with this condition for over a year now, so I am thankful and blessed it is finally happening.

I want to thank all of you for your support throughout this process. I've had a very difficult time with my physical, emotional, and mental health since I restarted this blog back in November of 2021. But so many of you wonderful mutual have been there to help me though all these challenges, and for this I can never thank you enough. You all are amazing.

The gap from Third Life ending to Last Life starting was 110 days.

It has been 77 days since the last Double Life episode was uploaded.

Besides mod development time, gaps are largely governed by schedules and availability- the larger gap between LL and DL can be attributed to the Afterlife & 100 Hours SMPs.

Since we haven't seen any group series popping up post-DL (beyond the usual Hermitcraft/Empires) I'm cautiously optimistic that the wait will be closer to the gap between 3L and LL. Still at least a month to go, though!

Portland Cosmic Doomers ASTEROID WITCH Reveal First Sounds Off Greenseeker Split

Buzzing signals from the electric guitar tease my temples for the opening moments of "Time Crystal/Mind Prism" by Portland's ASTEROID WITCH. I feel the groove taking control as riffs encircle me. Guitarist and vocalist Dave is joined by spacey chirps and trails from Sophia's synthesizer. The rhythm team of Trevor (bass) and Eric (drums) is undeniable -- I was headbanging to it straight through.

It's a bold, adventurous, and mysterious cosmic jam with real weight to it, thanks to amply downtuned instruments which can really grind when they need to. Meanwhile, vocals echo into the star-dotted blackness like some jerky cosmonaut. There is no panic as he soars into nothingness; only calm acceptance of the journey ahead.

Today, Doomed & Stoned hosts the world premiere of the first track ever from the aptly named Asteroid Witch. It'll be one of four songs the psychedelic doomers contributes to an upcoming split with fellow Oregonians, Greenseeker. Look for the release via Electric Valley Records on November 3rd, which by now have become one of the most dependable labels for latest/greatest stoner-doom. SOME BUZZ

Electric Valley Records presents a fuzzy split album between Asteroid Witch and Greenseeker, two rising acts from the ever-prolific Portland heavy music underground. Scheduled for 03 November, the split will be available on three variants of vinyl as well as on digital/streaming media.

The Asteroid Witch side of the split is a collection of psychic auditory transmissions that have been fixtures of the band's live set since their inception. These compositions range on various topics such as alien abduction, ufo encounters, communication with extraterrestrials and extra-dimensionals, high strangeness, astral projection, space travel, time travel, mind travel, trans-dimensional travel, hidden doorways to the celestial temple, prophets from the sky, portals both seen and unseen, orbs both material and non-material, the Lower realm, the Higher realm, the Middle realm(s), and much more.

On their side of this split, Greenseeker explores the blend of groovy throwback riffs, extended meandering jams, and heavy fuzz. In these two long-form tracks, fantasy meets reality with themes of envy, lust, greed, and pride as two rival bards engage in a magical tiff fueled by the thirst for fame, shrouding the world in a black fog. At their rock bottom, the protagonist makes a deal with the devil to gain a fortune but ends up getting more than they bargained for.

Forged in the nucleus of a distant black hole and teleported to Portland, Oregon in 2021 AD, Asteroid Witch is a conduit for the psychic communication of celestial Demi-Gods from deep space. Their sound takes the stoner-rock/heavy psych riffing of bands like Fuzz, Nebula, Red Fang, and Sleep, and blends it with the space-age synths and high-energy freakouts of bands like Hawkwind and Acid Mothers Temple. Since making contact, they have been transmitting cosmic doom metal from the stars to enchanted live audiences throughout the Pacific Northwest.

how did i get here?

i came out to myself and my close friends in august 2019, when i was 14. i had always felt a bit off; disconnected from being a woman, not feeling i fit in with girls in that way, eventually deciding i would have preferred to be born a guy- but i didn’t know enough about being trans to know i fit in that category. i knew i was trans as soon as i heard a trans man describe the experience. i began living as a man as beat i could immediately.

i came out to my parents in october of 2019. they were not initially the most supportive, but have grown more so now.

in november of that year, i began seeking hrt. i got a therapist. it took until december of 2020 to get t- mostly waiting for the next appointment. my pharmacy at the time denied me the prescription- i waited 3 weeks for them to get insurance authorization, which they never even asked for- so i had to get a different pharmacy. they got it to me the same day. i started t december 29th, 2020, when i was 15.

in 2021, i started the process to get top surgery. after getting a referral and my letters from my doctor and therapist, i called my surgeon of choice in november and was scheduled for a consult in april of 2022.

the surgeon decided keyhole was best for me, and his staff said they would try to schedule me in the summer. i was called a few days later to tell me my date was february 28th, 2023.

in december of 2022, i began talking to the surgeon’s staff about my surgery, and i noticed it was scheduled at the wrong hospital. a couple days later, they told me it needed rescheduled. obviously, with the wait times i had gone through already, i was terrified.

two weeks ago, i accidentally slept in and was late to school. while laying in bed, upset with myself, i got called by the surgeon’s staff with an offer of a date, february 3rd.

i am currently homeless. it is the first bit of good news i have had in 6 months.

I honestly don't know if this has been done before 😅 but...

Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon: The Musical -Kaguya Hime’s Beloved- and Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon: The Musical Nogizaka46 ver. 2019 are taking part in the Japan 2.5D Stage Play World: Anime, Manga & Game Theater Online!

The 2019 Nogimyu was live streamed back in August but it’s back! And now the brand new Princess Kaguya musical, which was on Japanese stages in September, enters the lineup!

Other stage plays on the event are returning titles Live Spectacle “NARUTO” and My Hero Academia The “Ultra” Stage, with the addition of Live Spectacle "NARUTO" ～The Tale Of Uzumaki Naruto～ for a shorter period of time!

my notes: i was looking into the schedule bc i was telling my assoc friend that we are overdue on reruns and wanted to double check i had my facts straight. i have conclusions bc i take this mobile game more seriously than my actual studies.

its been over a year since MoVo debut and we havent had a rerun. the only other hells that took over a year to get first rerun were 4M (2019Nov-2021Feb) and SoS (2020Jul-2021Aug). its been longer than both for MoVo (2021Jan and counting). MoVo reran in 2022Nov, putting it at almost two years to rerun.

its been almost a year and a half over two years since first rerun of SoS. this is similar to TP (2019Sep-2021Mar) and BM (2020Jul-2022Mar). it hasn't crossed either yet. its crossed both. update: ToL, which debuted two months after SoS, had its second rerun before SoS. SoS finally reran in 2023Sept.

TR and Ark had no hell reruns between them. this hasnt happened since SoS and ToL in 2020, where the schedule was (i think) fucked up by all the collabs they were doing, on top of bringing ToL exactly on anniversary date. update: this repeated with RS and CD.

endnote from the original making of this post: make of all that what u will. or dont. personally the next few months schedule will decide for me if theyre really being stingy with hell reruns, since we have had BM recently and will hopefully be back on track. hopefully. update: as of mid 2023, the schedule seems to be recovering, with one rerun between every two debut hells.

TMA fans! The weekly email from the Rusty Quill Patreon just came out, and it has important information that non-patrons should know as well.

The gist of it is that the production schedule for TMA has been impacted by the pandemic, and some of their contingency plans have fallen through, making it impossible to stick to their original schedule. As a result, there will now be two midseason breaks, and the first one is coming very soon. 

The new schedule is as follows:

End of Act I, MAG176 – 16th July 2020 (there are only 3 episodes left before this break)

Start of Act II, MAG177 – 3rd September 2020

End of Act II, MAG189 – 26th November 2020

Start of Act III, MAG190 – 14th January 2021

FINALE, MAG200 – 25th March 2021

There will be some bonus content during these breaks, including previously patron-only material being made public.
