Love how William got a new identity and the job as a career counselor just so he could get people to work at his shitty security gig of the restaurant he owns

He straight up says and knows, like, "oh yeah everyone quits this, pay is awful, hours are worse" he could at least make it somewhat more appealing, a bit more pay if people are gonna quit anyway, but he seems to enjoy doing it this way I think

You know what is really fun stuff and I can't wait to see? When Miles and Gwen have to talk and he finds out everthing. That Gwen ran away from home and joined society because she had nowhere else to go and that her canonical event is to die, not just because she loves Spider-Man, but just to die. Whether she's a hero or not, because she's a Gwen Stacy and they always die. Especially since Miles has no idea about any of these things in the first place.

And of course, when I say fun I mean incredibly painful and traumatic 😃

I think there's a much higher risk of the characters remaining stagnant, being thrown into wacky/high-adrenaline situations while not having any arc whatsoever. But I far prefer that over them fumbling characterization as badly as they did in Wreck It Ralph 2.
