7. im going to do draw alot instead of fond of bcos i dont tend to think of what type of clothes a character would like tbh, alot of my drawings of the sheep have them like 7-13 bcos as much as i like the idea of the reconnecting when they are older i still think of them more as childhood friends, shirase is usually in a lime green jacket with alot of inside pockets that’s in desperate need of a fabric shaver, he has a smooth rock he found and a a tiny weird shape stick in one of the pockets, he’s also the type of kid to find a rlly big stick and carry it around with him idk, i dont think much abt clothes for alot of characters, it’s like the hardest thing for me to think of when drawing 😅 i think he found that jacket that he has in 15 when they were a bit older (12-14) and was in love w/ it tho, he thinks it’s the coolest thing since that weird square thing

The boys still couldn’t believe it. They had just taken down Makarov, Johnny barely surviving it, and now they were somewhere in America, in a beach house with a strip of private beach. All curtesy of Kate, apparently it belonged to her family but was hardly used, so the boys using it was a welcome change.

They had been uncertain if they wanted to accept the (paid for) vacation, but after they all finally got released from the hospital, Price decided it was time for a break and some relaxation. So, they packed their bags and flew to the States. Kate had given them a brief introduction on what was where over the phone and the excitement grew, especially when she mentioned that there was scuba diving equipment.

So, the moment they arrived, after quickly dumping their stuff in the entry way and changing, they grabbed the equipment and set out into the waters. Even Simon couldn’t suppress a small smile or hide his excitement. At first, they stayed fairly close to the surface, but after Johnny saw a colorful fish he wanted to follow, they continued on into deeper waters. And that was when they heard it.

At first, it sounded like a wounded animal, but nothing like anything they had heard before. Either way, a sudden protectiveness coursed through them as they followed the sound to the source. And then they saw it. Or rather her. You.

Your tail had gotten stuck in an abandoned fishing net and you couldn’t get out. Originally, you had tried to reach your people with your cries, but no one came. Well, except for these four men suddenly in front of you. The few encounters you had with humans so far, had never ended well, so no one could blame you when you shrunk back in fear, reaching for the dagger that usually rested in its sheath on your hip, but you had lost it when you tried to free yourself earlier.

The men and you starred at each other for a few moments, before one of them approached. Immediately you tried to swim away, momentarily forgetting about the net, but you were immediately pulled back as the rope cut into your scales. A pained wail escaped you, as blood slowly seeped into the water. The man quickly raised his hands, before slowly gesturing to the net and then to his thigh, where you could see a small knife. You could see his eyebrows raise, as if asking for permission, and you slowly nodded, hoping that they would just let you go afterwards.

He mirrored your nod, before slowly approaching you and taking out his knife. With precision that was unknown to you, he cut through the rope until you were free. Out of reflex, you darted away, your tail swishing hard enough to send the man back a bit, making him loose his grip on the knife and you watched as it disappeared into the darkness. You glanced back at the four, before diving into the darkness, after the knife. Along with it, you found your dagger, which you put back in its place, before swimming back up, just to see the four still there, as if they hadn’t moved. Slowly, you swam up to the man who freed you and held out the knife with both hands, a small smile gracing your lips.

He took it from you, nodding in thanks. After one more glance over all of them, you turned around and swam back to your home, taking a few detours in case they were following you. But when you came to rest later that day, you mind stayed with the men. No matter what you did, you couldn’t stop thinking about them. And little did you know that they had the exact same problem.

frostheim:

jin kamurai: he can’t drive. like, at all. he never had to learn how to because he always had a chauffeur and now he’s 1. too embarrassed and 2. too mentally ill to even be willing to be put into the driver’s seat

tohma ishibashi: he actually has a really short fuse. he used to throw hands every chance he got when he was in vagastrom. alan had to ban him from the pit for a while…

kaito fuji: he’s obsessed with kpop. he’s a lesserafim stan through and through. chaewon biased until the end. he actually knows the entire “come over” choreography by heart

lucas errant: he unironically says things like “innit.” some days it even slips out when he speaks japanese and it truly is kaito’s 13th reason

vagastrom:

alan mido: he once fell down a day long cave diving rabbit hole on youtube only because his laptop froze and he had no idea how to fix it. to this day he can tell you step by step what you need to watch out for when cave diving even though this man doesn’t even have a scuba license…

leo kurosagi: one of his fans turned into a stalker once and he got rid of them by showing them a screenshot of his monthly credit card bill

sho haizono: he speaks multiple languages fluently but he never actually took any classes, he just dated lots of different people lol

jabberwock:

haru sagara: he is actually awfully allergic to dogs. like full on sneezy, sniffly, teary allergy. that’s why towa takes care of the human-faced dog!

towa otonashi: he only uses the flower language to give people nicknames since haru told him that “foul looking undead asshole” wasn’t an appropriate way to refer to edward

ren shiranami: he used to play the piano extremely well. gaming isn’t the only thing those fingers are good at… his parents put him in piano classes early on (he complained) and made sure he attended every lesson (he complained constantly) but turns out he has quite the talent! he’d rather die than tell anyone though…

sinostra:

taiga hoshibami: he’s extremely perceptive! uncannily so even. he grew up in tokyo’s underground so he kinda had to learn but now he uses his perception and people-reading skills solely to annoy the shit out of romeo. lulu can’t keep anything from him~

romeo lucci: he’s an extremely talented designer and seamster. before he got his own brand under the house of lucci, he had to prove himself. sometimes, when inspiration strikes (and taiga doesn’t try to burn sinostra into the ground) he still sews. he’s made a bunch of anonymous entries to the tokyo, milan and paris fashion weeks that ended up making it onto the runways!

ritsu shinjo: he never had a romantic partner before. he’s almost like, painfully inexperienced in absolutely everything. never held hands. never had a first kiss. never did anything scandalous. taiga caught on to that and ritsu is still trying to find a section in his law book that would allow him to smite his captain if he brings it up again…

hotarubi:

subaru kagami: he’s such a sleepy guy… he loves his naps. he could nap all day. and it doesn’t really help that hotarubi is so comfortable with the rain… he’s always been this way and when he was a kid, his parents even got him tested for narcolepsy. negative though, he just really loves to snooze at any given time

haku kusanagi: he loves threatening to switch houses at the slightest inconvenience. stubbed his toe? i’m joining vagastrom. missed a deadline? might just let edward bite me atp. forgot his umbrella? moving to jabberwock. subaru knows he’s not serious but panics a little every single time lol

zenji kotodama: he used to be hotarubi’s vice captain, so now that he’s a ghost he has his nightly revenge every now and then (aka he plays the biwa in front of the rooms of students who didn’t listen to him when he was alive)

obscuary:

edward hart: he unironically watches stuff like love island and too hot to handle. when asked he muses about how fascinating the human urges and desires are but really, he’s just in it for the drama. he once binge watched all the love island uk seasons in one sitting

rui mizuki: he’s an unapologetic taylor swift fanboy. she’s been his #1 spotify wrapped artist the fifth year in a row now and he wouldn’t wanna have it any other way

lyca colt: he once tried to eat dogfood because ren dared him to (“just think about it, it’d be so much cheaper than human food”) but he hated it. lyca can hold grudges like it’s no one’s business so he’s still trying to figure out how to get ren back for that

Pixies - Where Is My Mind? 1988

"Where Is My Mind?" is a song by the American alternative rockband Pixies from their 1988 debut album Surfer Rosa. It is one of the band's signature songs and has inspired a multitude of covers.

The song was written by frontman Black Francis while he attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst, inspired by his experiences while scuba diving in the Caribbean. Guitarist Joey Santiago composed the song's guitar line. He recalled of his part, "This was actually the first thing I tried. A lazy arpeggio that instantly sounded strong and hooky."

After being featured in the 1999 film Fight Club, in which the song plays over the final scene, the song gained an even wider audience. It's been used in a multitude of movies and tv series, including Sucker Punch, Criminal Minds, The Tick, and The Leftovers. The 2009 film Mr. Nobody (one of my personal favourites) also featured the song. Maxence Cyrin's cover of the song has been featured on Mr. Robot and It's Kind of a Funny Story.

On April 13, 2004, NASA used "Where Is My Mind?" to wake up the team working on the Mars rover, Spirit, in honor of its software transplant.

In 2023, it was revealed that Francis' remark of the word "stop" at the beginning of the song triggered certain Google phones to switch off their alarms.
