Swipe right. 😉💗😘 . Since I’m on the bus ride that won’t end, everyone is asleep, there are no lights to turn on and the advertised WiFi is shoty at best... therefore what else can I do to occupy my time? Tell stories on IG and shout out the amazing people in my life . The story of that epic weekend continues . Sunday afternoon, San Diego- I meet with Amelia, who gets featured a lot in this stack because we had a few special moments this weekend, before heading to our reunion with The Meaning Institute. On Saturday, I stopped in Oceanside to see her at her family’s bday party. She shared with me how her niece played piano for everyone and part way thru said “I sound SO GOOD! I’m SO good at this!” 💗 I was elated to hear this and also envious at the proclamation of excellence and her 10yr old confidence. How lucky she and her sisters are to have @theameliafortes and their aunts demonstrate #selflove and #womanhood . That they live in an environment that encourages them to shout out loud how great they are and celebrate themselves 💗💗💗 Amelia continues to be a gem of support and love in my life. I met her at my mystery school - created by a very wise teacher @marciawieder - she’s famous - just google her. Marcia taught me many lessons that are just barely revealing themselves ... one is to *Let it be Simple*. Not something I allow often. Working on it ... much gratitude to this woman for bringing all of my Meaning Institute brothers and sisters together, the lessons she shares and taught, and the love she exudes. The other woman- @shifrabaltinester - another wise soul, incredible woman , wonderful mother, supportive wife and friend who was the first to reach out to me and coach me through a hard time ... encouraging me to see that I alone am enough. #selflovestory #enjoythejourney #woowooAF #WCE #blessed to have amazing people in my life . My bestest teacher. I externalize and share what feels appropriate for our expansion up to this point 🎉 . . . My #selflovestory has gone through a lot of changes over the last few days. I #gooutside when things get tough and my feelings don’t make any sense. Today we got to water a lot of the plants by the farmhouse and around the property of #SoFairFarms. Besides giving me tons of fuel for ideas as far as gardening, permaculture, and sustainability is concerned, it resets the feelz and vibes otherwise exposed and vulnerable thanks to the sometimes stripping and straining aspects of life. . Sometimes I’m easily deterred by the unhelpful narrative in my own mind. It doesn’t take a while for me to shift those feelings though. Just focus/clarity and understanding, creative/motivated/cleansing spark, tangible/material proof of experience, and forgiveness/Love/support through every phase and transition. . . If I follow those guidelines that I’ve discovered meaning through and from in my own experience, there’s no feeling i can’t get over - no hardship I can’t overcome - no illness I can’t recover from - no heartbreak that can’t heal - no trauma that can’t be integrated and used as fuel for my growth and blossoming and production of fruit - no wounds and no grief that can’t be understood, felt, and learned from. . . . Things hurt the same as ever now, but the lessons are rich, deep, and meaningful. I feel the deepest gratitude for this pain, for these lessons, and an infinite and abundant bliss in the play of life - the silliness and grotesqueness of our displays of appreciation and dismission to each other and the greatness of life all around. I feel lucky to find meaning in the mundane. But how do we remind ourselves of the magic in everything in the face of that which tells us everything is nothing: everything is meaningless: meaning is empty? How do you inspire the light in someone else - anything else - besides you? . . . What is true connection? How do you give fire to someone else without burning them/yourself? How do you ignite and inspire yourself without burning out or consuming someone else’s resources entirely? Communication? Balance the air? (at Fairfield, Iowa)
