This idea was so kind to me that I needed to doodle it!!!

Though when they all returned I'm sure they were covered in small bug bites, pollen, grass and smelled of dirt, and had to deal with stuffy noses and headaches. ^^

Depression has been a bitch lately.

"everything will be okay," aki murmurs, his palm cradling the back of your head like you're precious, holding you closer to himself. your head nuzzles into his chest, and you feel his warmth, you listen to the slow, steady sound of his heartbeat. his voice is quiet, the familiar tone helping to put your racing nerves at ease. "you're alright, it's okay. I'm here. it's okay... just breathe."

through hiccuped breaths, you grab onto aki's shoulders tighter, holding him, your fists balled up in his shirt. aki places a hand on your cheek. as you glance up at him through misty eyes, he's wiping the tears from your skin with his thumb. he takes careful breaths, until your own breathing begins to fall into the same rhythm as his.

"you've done so well. you deserve to rest. I'll stay with you for as long as you need, I promise. you're precious to me. and nothing will ever change that." aki gives your shoulder a small squeeze. he leans in, he kisses your forehead, soft lips sending sparks through you. "I'm not going to leave you. not tonight, not ever. you haven't eaten anything today, right? I can make you something to eat when you're ready, whatever you'd like. but for now, just breathe. I love you. I love you so much."

and although tears still blind your eyes and your body still trembles in his hold, you know truly, you are loved. you know aki would hold you for hours upon hours while you cried, you know he'd listen to each of your thoughts and fears, and still, in the end, he'd look at you with the same love in his eyes. you know everything will be alright, you'll thrive as you always have, and he will be by your side through it all. he'll stay with you, all night and into the morning. and when you awake, he will tell you he loves you, hand in yours, with an earnestness that shakes you down to your core.

WHOOOO BOY when I got this randomly asked I fr did a double take bc JUST RECENTLY I DOODLED THEM DUE TO A DREAM I HAD!!! So the timing of this message was very coincidental...!!!

BUT since you asked for em i decided to doodle some more things for the two!! There is other art as well, but it's on my other socials and not here hehe

The basis of their relationship is very similar to how Piepoe feels about the Noise. Except she is simply just way more uncomfortable. They just don't like how unpredictable Pizzano can be!!!

I WILL leave these ones that are older tho bc theyre quite silly. These were from after the dream and they were just me sketching out their interactions based off of it😭😭‼️

OHH it's all good don't worry! :D I can do any pair, I just thought it'd be fun if people got creative with the pairings hehe

IN the meantime...I've thought about Envy and Fear before, because a bunch of my fanfic ideas take some time to focus on their friendship. With that said, I'm still a little unsure how to write Envy even if she's a fascinating character on her own. Alsoooo it's a little bit hard to tell how they'd interact because canon doesn't give us a lot to work with, but it's really fun to think about KDJFHSJKDFH

I do think Envy looks up to Fear (pun intended), in the way that he's smart and quick-thinking. In turn, I think Fear would really appreciate her words. He'd also be the type to carry Envy around and goof off with her (or at least look after her if she's getting rowdy--she's so small, after all). I think Envy would be a good motivator for Fear to try new things their friends are doing, maybe inspire him to get out of his comfort zone! And Fear's there to be careful and temper that desire if things get a little scary or dangerous, and if Envy's going too far.

If they wind up on the same page, though, I feel like they could make a special brand of insecurity. Envy's constant comparisons with others could really enhance Fear's hold on Riley's self-esteem, and maybe even on his own self-esteem. Because as much as Envy loves pointing out the things she likes about others, she's also just as prone to point out the things she likes that aren't there...would it be such a stretch to say that even she doesn't have great self-esteem herself? She's either a yes-man (trying to impress someone/hopefully get respected) or she can convince someone that her motivations are correct and beneficial (and she usually believes she's doing something good). Fear's a solid voice of reason but again, highlighting his (or Riley's) flaws could really get his gears going a mile a minute. This COULD be a good drive for self-improvement, if they don't make Riley so nervous and feel inadequate she couldn't do anything. Whoopsies.
