Rewatched a DVD that sustained my little autistic childhood, the Magic of Making 2. Outstanding highlights such as marbles, but then we get on to potatoes. I don’t know how to say this but now a video of the manufacturing of potato crisps explicitly said that the Potato Famine was Ireland’s fault. The narrator just decided to drop that in there in such an unfathomably off way. Everything was going so well until it just... got political? This doesn’t sound right but the sheer shock factor of this 2007 DVD just dropping in 19th Century English propaganda
