oh my god this galveston hurricane news bit. yesterday 10 foot swells and winds up to 150 miles per hour and today it's all good LOL. that's a category 4 hurricane, dude! see this helpful animation on the national hurricane center website that shows damage by wind speed up to category 5. i lived in miami for ten years and hurricanes were a bit of a fixation for me.

i feel like both things exist here, dean has no one to talk to and is looking for some sanity checking and emotional support from his father figure, and also that bobby doesn't get appreciated for what he does. but also, either he knows something is fucking wrong with sam (based on i don't know EVERYTHING in that year he'd been back) and is avoiding dean on it or he is blowing off dean's concern when someone is behaving differently despite their personal experience with possession / vesselitude might indicate concern and the neverending concern of how he's back in the first place etc.

okay this must be a wording thing because they had pestilence use the same and i was very perplexed by the phrasing.

this whole crowley thing is. i don't know. a lot. if these little slice of life bits could have been spread out into multiple episodes i think it would feel less forced. personally.
