Yes!!! And I also think there's another level where that hatred would start to get really personal for Cass, and that's with his use of the Bat symbol and past with Bruce

Like we know Cass is someone who can have her staunch morals waver when stuff gets personal (because she projects so hard on all the criminals she meets) that I don't think it's unfair to assume that her beef will escalate into a sort of ultra-turbo hatred the more she deals with Jason.

Like as much as Bruce is saving his parents/stopping their killer with each person he saves, Cass is stopping HERSELF with each criminal she takes down. So what I'm saying here rlly is that I think Cass would definitely try to reach out originally (bc its Cass) but once she realized how much he understood about what he was doing (like you said!!) it would start to get bad for Jason. Especially (especially!!!) once she sees and knows about Jason's past more in depth and his attempts to co-opt the bat symbol and legacy with his agenda and murders. Like that would make her go absolutely nuclear

Anyways Jason is SO lucky she wasn't really around much in that era because she would beat him up so bad he'd be in the ICU until the new 52 lol

so here's the thing cass wouldn't hate jason just off of the stories of him. cassandra 'nobody dies tonight' cain would be the absolute first person to reach out to jason with purely good intentions of bringing him back from his dark murderous path. the problem here is that jason’s dark murderous path is a sign that he still has all his morals and values intact after the debilitating trauma of dying. so it’s only after she sees that he thinks murder /is/ right that she begins to falter. how could this person who has seen the horror of death keep bringing it into the world with his own hands? why does it bring him peace to see these poor souls in pain? that's when she would start to hate him.

IMO, this type of SM posting goes far beyond them respecting their privacy. It's embarrassing & cringe for BOTH of them at this point if they are together. Unless he is launching her tonight, which would be reckless & a gross miscalculation on his part.. If he was responsible for papgate1 (I don't think so), but it is speculated & I have to give it light as you theorized, the premiers could distract/overshadow a launch. This is how I actually got started in this shipping mess; after papgate, I wanted to see if he was a disrespectful POS like everyone online said. I've literally come full circle, haha. It's wild.

Do people who think/assume L&A are together hate L? I ask because at this point, if they have been together for over a year, I really don't like him anymore. Oh man, as soon as I say I want to put this to bed, I get an ask that is rooted with empathy, so here it goes:

I want to say upfront that I don’t believe Luke or Antonia owe us anything when it comes to their personal lives or whatever relationship they do have. However, I can see that many fans have strong feelings about their connection. That said, I don’t know these individuals personally, and I can only speculate based on what’s been presented publicly. I have no knowledge as to what happens behind closed doors and the conversations that happen. I just hate seeing a fandom torn up over something that, at the end of the day, shouldn't really impact us this much. If I can provide clarity without judgment, that’s what I will try to do.

Why Luke and Antonia Being Together Makes Sense:

Personal Connection: While it may not be clear to everyone, relationships often make sense on a personal level that we as outsiders, can’t always see. Luke and Antonia might share a bond that feels right to them, even if it doesn’t align with public expectations. It’s not about what fans think is best - it’s about what works for them.

The Public Persona: The real issue here lies in how the relationship has been presented. I feel like theres some recognition of personhood that comes w putting someone on the receiving end of a human emotion like anger, whereas if ur just like "logically i know colonizer bad, so empathy for colonizer = bad," ur putting them on a subhuman level out of the reach of emotion. U dont feel anger or empathy for them. U never find out what u feel toward them bc without accepting the possibility that u might reach muddy, nuanced, morally frustrating conclusions, theres no wiggle room to feel what u feel. But then u never get to feel the anger either. U cant understand things from either side bc once u start trying to sort everything into concrete moral categories, then ur not understanding individuals, ur defining variables, and everything becomes theoretical. I feel like thats part of the reason why when ppl put the expedition on the level of the subhuman, they often elevate the netsilik to the superhuman. Poly Heathers & Veronica and Love

This is a remake of one of my older posts, "Headcannons part 69420", updated with more stuff and more elaboration

Heather Chandler:

Chandler's love language (giving) is acts of service

She is always doing something for her wives, wether that be making them a little extra treat when she goes to make dinner or taking them to their favorite places on a whim or even preparing a nice bath for them when she knows they've had a hard day at work

By her own admission she isn't the best with words

She's brash and often rude and has a hard time vocalizing her thoughts, the inability to do so causing her much frustration

Why can't she just tell them how much she cares for them, how much she needs them, why is it so hard?

It actually caused her to start to fear that they would think she was ungrateful or even that she hated them, but after opening up to them about it she was reassured that of course they didn't think she hated them, they all had different ways of showing love and that it was ok that she didn't outwardly show it

Despite this, Chandler still feels the need to put in more effort into showing her affections but also that what she does is never enough

As a stay-at-home wife she has plenty of free time on her hands, and with that time she will try and think of something nice she could do for her wives

Sometimes its just as simple as her spotting something one of them would like at the store and picking it up for them

Other times she goes more out

For example, for a whole week Duke had been dreading a meeting with some agency which would determine what happened to one of her kids, stressing about it to the point of tears

So that day when she came home, Chandler had prepared her favorite dish (with a huge chocolate cake, Chandler knows her green-clad wife is a monster for that shit), went out to get some high end bath bombs, and even got Mac and Veronica to come home early to help comfort her incase things went poorly

Thankfully they didn't, but Duke spent the whole night teasing Chandler about how soft she's gotten

She tried to refute it but it was of no use, she was blushing heavily

The only thing she won't do for her wives is intentionally lose at a game

Despite her ego deflating since high school ended, the pride still remains, and Chandler physically cannot force herself to lose even if it would make one of her wives feel better

Her love language (receiving) is words of affirmation

Its amazing how a few words from her wives can soothe all of her worries

Maybe its because of how bad she is with words, but just hearing an "its ok" or "I love you" sets her mind at ease

It lets her know that her efforts appreciated, but also does so in a direct way

Despite being the HBIC for years and dealing with all the interactions that entailed Chandler is hilariously bad at gauging how someone is feeling

She's used to just intimidating people into doing her bidding, but she obviously can't do that with the people she loves

By having it told straight to her that she is loved and needed and that she's done a good job she can understands how they are feeling without any doubt

She also has a massive praise kink

Veronica once called her a "good girl" and Chandler's face was as red as her blazer for the rest of the day

Now when one of them wants to mess with her they'll whisper "good girl" into her ear and watch her blush furiously

Every Saturday the four of them will have date night

They don't always go out as a whole polycule, what they do is follow a schedule

For the first 3 weekends of the month they will have two 1 on 1 dates, and on the fourth week the 4 of them will go out

For example, Week 1 is Chansaw and McDuke

Week 2 is Chandlamara and Dukesaw

Week 3 is Chanduke and Mcnamaywer

Week 4 is the whole polycule

This way they can all have a day to spend quality time with each of their wives

They also follow a schedule within it for who sets up the date

For example in Week 1, one month Chandler and Mac will choose what they do for their date, the next month Veronica and Duke, and so on

The same applies to their group date as well

When it's Chandler's turn to choose, she prefers classic date ideas

Call her old-fashioned, but she loves the cheesey romance

Of course she loves getting dolled up and nice and pretty, plus she also gets to help her wives pick out something that'll match

If she's not with Mac she'll go to a fancy restaurant and order some wine and just talk and enjoy being with her wife

And she pulls out all the stops for this, getting the best table, candles, expensive wine, nothing is too good for her wives

Plus its nice not to have to cook for a change, even though she does enjoy doing it

With Mac things are a little different

The fancy restaurants she enjoys going to don't have things that Mac would eat on their menu and she would hate to see her just sit there while she ate, so instead they do another date night classic, going to the movies

They don't get as dressed up, presenting a fun challenge to Chandler as she tries to find something that looks nice but also low-key enough to justify wearing to the movie theater

Her and Mac get a huge tub of popcorn to share that they never eat more than a third of

Thankfully they both like their popcorn the same way, smothered in butter

The first time Veronica went with the Heathers to a movie and saw the sheer amount of butter they were putting on their popcorn she became very concerned for their cholesterol levels

Duke gets her own little kiddy popcorn bc she cannot stand having that much butter

Chandler will get a Diet Coke, Mac a Sprite, plus they share some candy

As for the movie, they'll usually go see a comedy or some kind of animated movie

Neither of them are a fan of action, most romance movies are too heteronormative, historical films are too boring, and horror is a big no-go, so comedy is an easy choice

They usually sit at the very back of the theater and cuddle

Heather Duke:

Duke's love language (giving and receving) is quality time

Its a win-win situation, she loves spending time with her wives and they love spending time with her

Out of the four of them she spends the least amount of time at home

Her job can have long hours, and she's often the first to leave in the morning and the last to come home in the evening

As such, when she comes home she is antsy to see her wives

Often as soon as she comes through the door she'll make a beeline to wherever they are (usually the couch) and just collapse into a cuddle pile

And don't get her wrong she loves her job, it can just be stressful sometimes and the long hours get to her sometimes

Its nice to come home and just exist with people who care about her

She's also the one who came up with their weekly game night

Duke thought it would be fun to do something outside their normal routine, but also something the four of them could do together

She loves just being around them, but she also wants to actively do things with them

That culminated when one day when going through Mac's things she found her old Wii, the discovery of which saw Mac launch into story after story about her and Chandler playing on it when they were kids, and all of the times she was a sore loser when she managed to beat her

Chandler: "I AM NOT A SORE LOSER HEATHER"

Mac: "Sorry honey, but you are the biggest sore loser there is"

Chandler: "AM NOT"

Mac: "You got so angry when I beat you at Wii Bowling that you broke my Princess Peach remote"

Chandler: "We were kids, you know how kids are when they don't get what they want"

Duke: (To Veronica) "She was 17, I was there, Mac started crying and I had to comfort her"

That gave Duke the idea of them all playing it together

Surprisingly they all played, so they plugged in the Wii and started playing

Chandler's sore loserness became readily apparent when Veronica began dominating at Mario Party

She may have targeted Chandler at every oppurtunity, but that still didn't justify her throwing the remote into the wall

They don't only play video games, sometimes they'll do board games

One time they tried to play Monopoly

That somehow ended with Chandler setting the fucking board on fire

They stay away from extremely competitive games after that

Really, Duke just likes to hear the others laugh

Hearing them cheer or giggle whenever they come ahead in a game fills her with happiness

That's part of why she pulls so many pranks, not only is it funny in the moment but it also creates a hilarious memory to look back on and laugh about

As for her choices on date night, Duke prefers to go shopping

A weird choice for a date, but its what she wants to do

She takes each of her wives to a different place to accommodate for their tastes

With Chandler, they'll usually go to a boutique

They'll go in, browse the new selection, and maybe pick up a few new things

Really its just an opportunity to see the other dressed up all fancy and sexy

With Mac, they'll go a bit farther outside Sherwood to some speciality shops that have a bit more variety than what they can get in their small town

These shops get Japanese imports of Pokemon merch, something Mac goes crazy over

She's become very friendly with the owners, and they've even helped her place orders for some of the more limited and hard to find collectibles

With Veronica, they'll go everywhere

The girl loves to shop

They often spend an hour or more in the LEGO store with Veronica debating which stupidly expensive piece of plastic to get today

They'll go looking for the newly released funko pops, to the bookstore, to Gamestop so she can fuel her addiction I mean get more Pokemon Cards

They don't come back without the Jeep being full of random crap

But the dates aren't about the shopping, its just something to do while they talk

While driving or browsing or waiting to check out, Duke will take the time to just talk to her wives about whatever really

Its a nice opportunity to just catch up or geek out about a show they were watching or a book they've been reading or anything and everything in between

With her job she can't spend as much time with her wives as she would like, especially not one-on-one time, and this is a nice way for her to keep up with what's going on in their lives

Heather McNamara:

Her love language (giving and receiving) is physical touch

Mac fucking loves physical contact with her wives

She is pretty much touching at least one of them 24/7

Wether that be holding hands, cuddling on the couch, or even just touching legs under the table

Whenever the are sitting she'll scoot her chair or herself over to where her and one of the others are touching

Its really calming for her, whenever they touch she feels a lot more grounded and in the moment

This is important for when she has a meltdown, she needs that feeling to help bring her down from the hysteria and back to reality

Her wives know this, so when they see a meltdown coming or one in progress they know to give her a big hug and hold her tight

This doesn't means she likes to touch everyone however

Mac is really only ok with physical contact with her wives and her dad, if anyone else tries to she starts to freak out

One time JD gave her a pat on the back and she started to have a meltdown, she wasn't expecting to get touched at that moment and she was getting touched by someone who wasn't on her list of ok people

She also will avoid touching other people

She refuses to shake hands or give hi-fives or anything of the sort

Whenever a store clerk hands her a bag she makes sure their hands do not touch during the exchange

This does not apply to animals, if there is a creature she will pet it and she doesn't mind dogs jumping up on her or cats coming sit in her lap

Her favorite thing in the world is being in the middle when they go to bed

They bough a 4-person Alaskan King bed when they first moved in together and it took them a while to figure out the best way to sleep comfortably

Eventually they settled on having Chandler on one end, then Mac, then Duke, then Veronica

Mac absolutely insisted on being in the middle, because it would mean that she gets cuddled by two people every night

She sleep the best whenever she's held tight by her wives

Surprisingly she's not always the little spoon, most nights she is big spooning Duke while Chandler is her big spoon

She's also big on hand holding

If they go anywhere she's holding hands with at least one of them, preferably two

She laments that she doesn't have 3 hands so she can't hold hands with all of them at the same time

If she's having a bad day she'll hold onto someone's arm and rest her head on their shoulder, usually Chandler's

Its a habit she picked up from when she was young, whenever bullies would harass her she would do that to Chandler in hopes that it would help protect her

And you already know she gives out plenty of kisses

Its constant with her

Whoever is sitting next to her on the couch usually ends up getting peppered with kisses

Some would call her clingy, and to be honest she kind of is, but its not a "if I'm not touching my wives i'm going to have a panic attack", its a "I like to be touching at least one of my wives if able to do so"

For her dates, Mac likes to have fun

She can tolerate the occasional traditional date at a fancy restaurant, but most of the time she finds it to be too stuffy and uncomfortable

She instead likes to be out doing something where she can just enjoy herself and not worry about having to be fancy or follow some unspoken rules of etiquette

She'll take her wives out bowling (if not with Chandler, she wants to enjoy her date and not get kicked out after Chandler breaks something bc she got another gutter ball), or to the carnival if that's in town, or even to the zoo or aquarium

Admittedly the last two are more for her than her wives, but she justifies it saying that it's the zoo, everyone likes the zoo

Whenever the Renaissance Festival comes to Ohio she'll take Duke and Veronica on their weeks

Chandler complained about it being in the woods and bugs and snakes and mud and the others knew that she wouldn't have a good time

They'll dress up as witches and go around the fair, watching shows and throwing tomatoes at the guy who insults you

If she's looking for something a bit more low-energy, she might go see a movie or go take a walk in the park or even stay at home and play some games

When they go to the park she likes to feed the ducks

Problem is that the ducks now recognize her and swarm whenever they see her entering the park, looking for food

Duke, who she was with at the time, took a picture of Mac surrounded by about 20 ducks all looking expectantly at her and send it to the other two with the caption "Duck Lord"

The point is that she wants to be out and doing things

Dates are supposed to be fun and exciting and a chance to enjoy life with the people you love, and she embodies that with her choices

Veronica Sawyer:

Veronica's love language (giving) is words of affection

Unlike her wives she is very good with her words, something which she uses to her advantage

Veronica felt like there wasn't much she can do for them to show them how much she loved them

I mean, what can she do for the girls who have everything

She thought about just telling them, but that didn't feel good enough

After some internal deliberation, trying and failing to come up with some grand extravagant way to show her thankfulness, she settled on using her strengths and just saying thank you and that she loved them

To her shock, the Heathers were very receptive to this

She was worried that it wouldn't be enough, that they would think she was being cheap or unthoughtful or even unthankful, but they were really touched by what she had to say

She later found out that the Heathers, especially Duke and Chandler, had very rarely been told "I love you" making it mean more to them

After learning that, she makes sure that she tells each of them that she loves them at least once a day

Usually its closer to about 20 times a day but its at least 1 so it counts

She still feels like its not enough, buts its less of an omnipresent dread like it was

Whenever one of them has a bad day and wants to talk about it she's the one they turn to, because she's the best at listening and being able to reassure them that everything is going to be alright

Her love language (receiving) is receiving gifts

You should've seen this one coming

Veronica loves shopping, so its only natural that she loves it when her wives buy things for her

Besides the whole "I got thing I wanted", it makes her feel loved to know that her wives went out of their way to find something she would like, or saw something and thought about her and bought it, or even made something for her

Veronica wasn't very wealthy growing up, so getting a gift was an extra special treat for her, and even now that she's at a point where money will never be a concern for her she's never dropped the feeling of gifts being a special thing

The Heathers are more than willing to spoil her tho

She often comes home to a new book from Duke or some kind of collectible from Mac or a treat from Chandler, and the smile she gets is infectious

For her dates Veronica prefers something a little more relaxed

She agrees with Mac on the principle that dates shouldn't be about getting all fancy and that kind of stuff, but she also doesn't think they need to be about doing things

She really just wants to spend time with her wives

Thats why for her dates, she tries to introduce them to things she enjoys

The big one is anime

With Chandler, Veronica deduced that she would like mystery anime, for example Death Note, or something that managed to infiltrate her walls and hit her right in the feels, like Violet Evergarden

On the day they watched the later they cried so much that when Duke and Mac got home they thought somebody had died and became really concerned

With Duke, Veronica thought she would enjoy action anime, so they watched things like Demon Slayer and My Hero Academia

After watching the former Duke tried to get them to go as the Hashira for Comic Con but Chandler refused

With Mac, she knew that she would like cute fluffy yuri romance, such as I'm In love with the Villainess

Out of all of them Mac got the most into what Veronica showed her, and they even started finding new series to watch together

Chandler pretended to try and hate it but Veronica walked in on her reading yaoi Light/L fanfiction one day and she could no longer deny that she enjoyed it

She also tried to introduce them into her LEGO hobby (addiction) but none of them really got the appeal, Chandler complaining that she could step on the tiny pieces or one of their pets could eat them

And they all absolutely refused to get sucked into her Pokemon card addiction, even Mac who loves Pokemon wouldn't touch it after seeing how Veronica is with them

And Just a little bonus

Kids:

The Kid talk was something that the Heathers thought they didn't need to have

The three of them all agreed a long time ago that they didn't want kids, and they thought that they had had that talk with Veronica or mentioned it sometime and knew their opinion

But one day after their wedding Veronica brought up the subject, causing the three of them to get really confused

It turned out that Veronica wanted kids, and what followed was a deeply uncomfortable conversation for everyone

The Heathers quickly explained that they thought, no, they knew they would be terrible parents and had mountains of issues that they had a hard time dealing with and it wouldn't be right to bring a child into this world knowing that they would have parents who could barely take care of themselves, much less a child

Plus look at them, they were four women all married to each other in the middle of a very conservative part of Ohio, their hypothetical child would be harassed because of something they couldn't even control

And how would they even have the kid? They're all cis women so they can't have one in the normal way, they don't know any cis men who they would trust to do this, and even if they did IVF which one of them would carry the child?

Veronica tried to interject saying they could adopt, but Duke quickly replied, asking what agency would give a child to any of them

In the eyes of the law they are all single women with documented mental illnesses, someone would get fired for even suggesting to adopt to them

That realization hit Veronica like a truck and she told them that she was going for a walk, ignoring the calls for her to stay and how they could talk this out

She quickly found herself at 7/11, JD's habit of freezing your brain had really stuck with her

And who else should be there but the slush king himself, greeting Veronica with the usual 'Greetings and Salutations' before noticing the blank look on her face

JD paid for her slushie and took her outside to their usual talking spot

Veronica muttered, asking him if he just lived here or something

JD responded that he actually kinda did, he got a loan from Chandler to buy out this franchise meaning that he owns and manages this 7/11

She gives a small chuckle but hearing the name of one of her wives cuts it short

JD tells her that he knows something is up and that she has to talk about it, keeping shit in only makes it worse

She responded in a curt tone that the Heathers don't want kids

JD quickly picked up what was going on but could only say oh before taking another sip of his slushie

A few minutes pass by before JD speaks up again, asking her what she was going to do about this

Veronica gave a small I don't know before JD told her that she has two options here

One, she divorces the Heathers and tries to find someone who does want kids and she's compatible with

Veronica is quickly taken aback by this suggestion, saying that she doesn't want to do that

He then gives her the second option, learn to live with it

He says that there's no compromise that can be made here, and it doesn't look like they're gonna budge on it

She needs to choose which is more important to her, them or kids

If she chooses kids then she'll always be unhappy with the Heathers and at that point it would be better just to get a divorce

But if she chooses them she's gonna have to deal with the knowledge that she won't be able to have kids, and if she chooses that she can't have the idea that she could convince their minds, because he knows the Heathers and he knows that once they've set their mind on something its near impossible to change it

He goes on to say that its a hard decision and not one to take lightly and it sucks that she's in this situation, the four of them probably should've talked about this before getting married, but she's in it now and there's nothing anyone can do about it

Veronica then sighs and starts to think about it, but the choice is clear

She loves the Heathers more than anything or anyone, and thinking about it she knew they were right, there was no ethical way for them to have a child in their lives, not with the kind of lifestyle they had and in the area they lived in

Kids are just not on the cards for her

The realization hurts, and she sits on that curb and cries, mourning the child that she knows she will never have

Once she finishes crying, she actually feels better about the situation

It occurs to her that she never really thought about kids until the wedding, mostly because most people she knew had kids after their wedding, so was there ever any real desire to have kids or was she just conforming to societal norms about life?

Thinking about it she knew she did want kids, but it wasn't an end-all be-all and she realized that she could live a life without a kid, but she couldn't live one without the Heathers

Plus getting pregnant sounded like it sucked, and she would probably be the one who had to carry the child, Chandler keeps the house running and it would fall apart without her supervision and Duke and Mac both have jobs, while she could work from bed if she had to

Maybe she's just coping with a sucky situation, but above all else she knew that she would choose the Heathers over a kid 100% of the time, she would just have to live with that choice

And in all honesty, she knew she would be all right, she just needed some time

I would like to thank y'all for reading and liking/reblogging/whatevering my stuff, I've noticed an uptick in those things recently and I wanted to let y'all know I appreciate every single one of you. I write these things with the hope that someone out there will enjoy it, so whenever I see a like or whatever I know that I've done what I set out to do

im back with your dad's second (least?) favorite hostage! XD so obvs these two have been stuck at the citadel together for the past two-ish years. kinda of background on aria... she was pretty shut off to EVERYONE at the beginning-- hardly spoke to anyone except her sister/the few astairan servants unless she had too, spent most of her time walking out on the grounds when the weather allowed (bc up until recently she & eilia had a bit more freedom to roam the castle grounds but nOT anymore! #thanksroderick) or was locked up in her room reading. she wasn't necessarily rude so much as just... not interacting, if that made sense?

BUT in the past... however long its been (yearish? idk it doesn't matter) she's started in on this plan to sort of win over the varmonts, if possible, in an attempt to try and get as many of them as possible to be on the side of the astairan cause so a) their people can get help! bc so much is STILL devastated from the war! and b) to try to get them to change roderick's mind about some of the astairan cultural things he's outlawed so there *might* be a chance for the guardians to be saved! (... bc she's also a seer who could actually see/hear the guardians, which most astairans dont really believe in now AND if roderick/thevarmonts knew about she'd def be executed so... FUN!)

her plans is kinda? working? she's def won over @forgottenarthur but those two have completely lost the plot tbh and are off on their own side quest of angst and bad communication (tho he did talk his dad into saving the most sacred spot at the citadel for her so! something?!). she was totes annoyed by cassandra at first but now sort of has a soft spot for her, even though aria thinks she's totally silly and cassandra REALLY isn't a huge help with her cause bc she's getting distracted by cillian or w/e most of the time! and then she's sort of befriended sebastian? her bestie aoife put in a good word for him so mostly aria has sort of entrenched herself with #TeamArthur accidentally! she and @forgottenedmund don't really seem to get along well tbh (even tho i think they actually would in another circumstance!) and aria does NOT trust amira or any of the calainon clan so she's honestly not trying to hard to win any of them over. also amira might suspect aria's a witch?

she's also been trying to win over roderick somewhat but she kinda shot herself in the foot outting to him that arthur took her out of the castle and into the city w/o roderick's permission + aria isn't doing anything to try and convince eilia she should marry roderick so i don't think she's really done much on the roderick front?

i do think that aria & guin might get along? aria is also a fairly introverted person BUT she has a bit of a mouth on her sometimes-- she's quick to respond esp if she feels like she/anyone she cares about is being attacked or treated wrongly (just ask arthur lol) but she's never been one to really seek out social situations which came a lot from her dad wanting to protect her from people outside astaira who would want to harm her if they found out she was a seer (... which is mostly just roderick so her dad was correct!)

i could see a world where aria is maybe kinda team guin for the throne, too? even tho she's pretty solidly on arthur's side currently, i think part of her feels (hopes?) that he wouldn't actually be happy being the emperor. ultimately aria is on team 'gtfo of astaira and give my sister back her throne!' but if that's not happening, she wants the person on the throne who is going to let astaira go back to its old ways. plus, aria fully believes in ladies in positions of power since her sister was queen!

How Did I Get Here – Moving Abroad

Where do I begin? I decided to start writing down my thoughts, reflections, and candid stories because I’m at a crossroad, and I’m hoping that writing will lead me to new revelation and help me figure out my new path.

Just to give a little background, I’m a 40 something expat housewife that feels very blessed to be in my position, but it came with its own set of challenges and a lot of change all at once. They say living abroad can be isolating, the same is said about being a new mother. Add both those things together, and you have what I was living.

I am lucky enough to have an amazing loving husband, and the most beautiful joyful child. But, before I became a wife and mother, I “did my thing”. I had a great job in a cool creative industry that people are dying to get into. I traveled around the country, interacting with famous people, staying in 5 star hotels on an expense account. I look back on that life fondly, even though, if I’m being honest, it was also filled with various degrees of sadness off and on, for a variety of reasons. I was confident, fashionable, surrounded by people who loved me, and was able to not only take care of myself, but also save money. At the time, I lived in a tiny apartment in a neighborhood that will probably never be gentrified. It allowed me to get on my feet since starting out in my industry meant low wages, and it was what I could afford. By the time I left I was making very good money, had a stacked 401k and a decent savings. Think off-rack Carrie Bradshaw, from around the way. 

Side bar, the apartment was in a tiny co-op, and my neighbors were all something out of a Tyler Perry movie. There was the old lying gossiping lady who you had to be nice to because she was the unchallenged president of the board of the last decade, and was able to pull strings to get things done for you. The successfully educated woman with the husband with a long criminal past (and at the time present) that made everyone uncomfortable. Two pastors (one of which I got into a cold war with…), and a bunch of families and good hearted people just trying to feed and take care of their families. I’m pretty sure the property management company was robbing us, and when I spoke up and tried to bring attention to it, I was accused of being messy (sigh). There wasn’t enough parking for the amount of cars of the people who lived there. The running joke was, any time a single woman purchased an apartment, it was a matter of time before her boyfriend moved in, adding to the strain on parking. It was a mess, but it was home and I lived there for a decade.

After many years, and I do mean many years of being single (which provides me with a wealth of stories), I finally met my husband. He was my manifestation list come true. I met him on an app…. which back in 2016 was unimaginable to me. I signed up with the encouragement of a friend because I was bored, and tired of traveling to the neighboring state (where I worked) to date what I deemed were men on my same page, so I decided to see who was single in my sleepy area. I found a damn needle in a haystack. I credit my years of dating for giving me the knowledge to know a good thing when I found it, and to push through the self-sabotage to snag him. We dated for 2 years, got engaged, and then had a very small destination wedding. 

With marriage came a lot of change. We were both so used to living alone, that our coupling was a huge adjustment.  We didn’t live together for the first two months of our marriage. One, because of our job locations, and two, because frankly, neither of us was jumping at the idea of giving up our spaces. We just visited each other on the weekends, and talked until we fell asleep every night like high schoolers. We finally moved in together (which is a story in itself), and after 3 1/2 years of marriage, and a baby that we worked really hard to conceive, my husband was offered a position in an Asian country. So while I was on maternity leave, 3 months after the baby was born, we moved, and I became a housewife. 

It’s been a little over a year since we arrived. I feel adjusted to my new surroundings, far far away from my loved ones, but now I’m at a crossroad. I love the privilege I have of being able to be home with my child (although, being a fulltime housewife is the hardest job I have EVER had). I have a part time nanny/housekeeper to help keep me sane, I live in a beautiful apartment overlooking one of the most amazing cities in the world, and I have a husband who happily provides for our family financially, physically and emotionally. But Instead of relishing in all of this, I’m cursed with the burden of constantly worrying about the future and trying to work it out in my head. I cannot stop agonizing about my career and if I will be able to find work with a hole in my resume. I tried to convince last job to let me stay on, but I was a pretty new employee to the company, and they were seriously committing to their return to office ……  I realize that this might be the worst sob store ever…. “poor little rich girl”, but in my defense, this feels like a fun break, and we’ll have to get back to our real lives when we return home. So here I am, trying to figure out what’s next. I absolutely do not want to return to the office after working from home for three years, and now being home for the last 1 ½  with my child. I feel like I’m still recovering from an absolutely horrendous commute I did for YEARS, I shudder when I think about it. While I loved my job while I was doing it, it required a lot of schmoozing and I just don’t have it in me to do that anymore. I’m a private person so it’s not likely that I’ll try to be an influencer, and or do something openly on social media. I started an instagram before I moved thinking I would post about my life here abroad, and quickly realized I lacked the energy for all of that. I don’t want another degree, I already have a masters. We’ll be in this country for the next few years, but I don’t speak the language (it’s written and spoken in characters i’ve never seen before, and can’t even wrap my head around, although I have made an attempt to learn it), so working here is not really possible. It’s also possible that when we leave here, we may move to another country other than home. So what’s next for me? I’m hoping to get a sign that I can’t miss that points me in the right direction, and ideally leads to some sort of an independent career. In the meantime, I’ll continue to pour into my little sunbeam, and jot my thoughts and experiences here.

You live in an apartment complex, room 43.

You led a pretty boring life since graduating. Waking up early in the morning, getting ready and heading to the office for work. Yet no matter how many times you try to wrap up early you always end up coming back home late from work, it’s the same usual scenery.

The moon making her way to her place, the sky turning darker and darker, parents picking up their children from the playground beside your work place since it’s getting late and the chilly breeze reminding you that autumn’s arriving.

You think of dating as a waste of time, well atleast, you’re the only one who tends to think so… You can’t find the time to make new relationships or get into one, plus you only have a few people in your life that you actually interact with .

You go out with your best friend on sundays for a drink to release stress and keep her up with what happens in the office, though it’s a pretty dreary topic but she insists that you tell her everything and after it’s your turn to ask her about how she’s doing ; you’re more like sisters than friends, and it comforts you to have someone that you can seek for advice.

The day after, your mom visits you to check up on you and brings you your favourite dishes.

Your mom is always nagging you to get a boyfriend and marry him in view of you not getting any younger..

“Mom, i’m only 28 years old..” that’s what you always say to her at the end of each conversation about dating.

In fact, even your best friend insists that she sets you up on a blind date to find your someone, but you end up refusing each and every time with the excuse that you want to focus on yourself and your job for the meanwhile. “Just get married to your work then, you workaholic!” she told you once in a snarly tone.

As much as you appreciate their concerns for you, you feel as if it’s still not the right time to start dating, add to that, you wouldn’t bother putting in effort to meet new people. Well, atleast for now.

It’s a usual friday night. You get back home, exhausted from a long day at work. You were left to finish overtime as per your boss ordered… but in return you get to have monday off in reward of your hard work.

You change into comfortable clothes and out of that suffocating shirt and tie choking ur neck all day long.

You lay in bed seeking for rest and peace after a long tiring friday, but as soon as your head touches the pillow you hear loud banging from the room next door, room 44. “Room 44? But i’m aware that nobody lives there…” you wonder to yourself and sudden thoughts run your mind, maybe it’s a thief? But there’s nothing to steal… And so that leaves you with one last conclusion, someone must’ve moved in next door.

Your new neighbor is very noisy. There’s always banging coming in from the next room late at night and it bothers you a lot… you’ve finally decided to confront him soon about it.

Usually you would hangout with your best friend at her place today, but this time you wanted to watch your favorite TV series alone at home.

You felt a strange sensation as you realized how silent things were, you were relieved that your eardrums were given a break from the noise. But you spoke too soon… A deafening bang hits the wall next room “BOOM!”

You get up, furious and angry, stomping your way outside to find yourself knocking on room 44’s door.

The door slowly opens, and you suddenly realize that you let your anger get the best of you.

A tall, handsome man was leaning on the doorframe. White frosted fluffy hair, deep crystal eyes hiding behind a pair of round dark sunglasses, a perfect nose and a grin was making its way on his lips. He was wearing a light blue shirt and dark baggy pants.

You can’t help but admit that he’s exactly your type… You get carried away admiring the man, your cheeks turn red and you rudely stare at him to admire his features. You got lost in his beauty that you almost forgot the reason you’re standing in front of him.

He tilts his head, greeting you “Well hey beautiful,” You can’t help but blush at his deep voice that just complimented you. Still you refuse to get easily swayed, “I’m from the room next door, you’ve been making a lot of noise ever since you moved in and it’s very bothersome. I can’t even sleep the night in peace.” you huffed while crossing your arms and tapping your foot.

Before finishing that thought he interrupted, “Alright I’m sorry, it’s because I had visitors these last couple of days and they’re pretty noisy and a bit.. chaotic let’s say. But I wasn’t joking when I said you’re pretty.”

That was a bit unexpected, you thought he would drag it on considering his immatureness at the beginning. A smile escapes your lips and soon you chip in, “Thank you sir, I’ll head back then. I hope you have a good night.” You get ready to turn around and walk back into your room, however you feel a hand pulling ur shirt gently. “It’s Satoru Gojo.”

“What?” “…Gojo, that’s my name since you insist on calling me sir… I don’t even look that old...” he corrected you while pouting.

You can’t help but let out a giggle, “I’m y/n, Gojo, it’s nice to meet you.” you hummed.

“Do you have plans?” he asked, “Hm, well for now, not really.” you responded and it didn’t take him a second to say “Would you like to come in? Let’s have a drink together. I’d like to get to know each other. We’re neighbors after all.” he suggested, taking his sunglasses off.

“Sure,” you replied. That came out so suddenly.. you knew better than to enter a man’s house especially one that you just met above all… However, you just couldn’t help refusing after clearly seeing his gorgeous yet sharp blue eyes, staring at you with an excited look.

“Come in!” he cheered, moving out of the way and holding the door open as you entered the apartment.

A while ago I had a very lovely conversation with @feyres-divorce-lawyer about Tamlin and the way his stans treat him and Feylin and Ive been having a lot of thoughts about that. Essentially, we talked about how Tamlin stans will often claim to be 'better' in some way than Rhysand stans because they dont excuse all of their faves actions but I mean, do they? like actually? I dont mean to generalize because I have seen people who actually dont excuse his actions, but theres an awful lot of people who have posted some variantion of "well, atleast i dont excuse tamlins actions 😊" when they have either previously posted or will go on to post some variantion of "ugh I cant believe feyre would break up with a man who did nothing but upset her, when he was trying so hard and struggling and his actions werent even that bad" or worse, some variation of "feyre's sooooo stupid, if some handsome fae lord wanted me to just wear beautiful dresses and be his pretty little wifeling I would do as he says 😍😍" like hey dawg, I hate to tell you this but thats just straightup misogyny. You can indulge in your fantasies of being a rich magical victorian guy's tradfwife without implying that other women are stupid for not wanting that. Also if you think that and also complain about acomaf and feysand being bad because its just a self-indulgent billionaire's wife fantasy, please consider that you basically want the same thing but with a different aesthetic. Which isnt bad in it of itself obviously, I just find this kind of hypocrisy very annoying

The way I see it, theres a couple reasons why the (positive) discourse around Tamlin is like this:

Tamlin stans get harassed for liking him or even just debunking blatantly false claims from Rhysand stans (such as the claim that Tamlin said Feyre looked better when she lost weight while Rhysand said she looked better when she gained weight which seems oddly persistant, even though I dont think Tamlin ever commented on her weight in acotar, and Im pretty sure that he only commented on how thin she was in acomaf in the context of how bad she looked), so they get very defensive about him, which is understandable

Tamlin is out of character in acomaf which leads a lot of people to dismiss his actions that upset Feyre because "acotar!Tamlin wouldnt do that though!" and like, thats true and I get it but it doesnt really matter when we're talking about their relationship and Feyre's decision to leave him from an in-universe perspective. Like, imagine if someone in your life opened up about how their previously wonderful partner started to exhibit some abusive behaviours and you were like "nooooo theyre just being out of character right now, its fine, you should stay with him". And obviously its different when its real people vs fictional characters, but my point here is that its nonsensical to earnestly engage with this relationship from and in-universe standpoint only to then use an out-of-universe thing that doesnt actually factor into their relationship to explain why it fell apart

Tamlin is less bad than Rhysand, even in acomaf, and excuses for his behaviour sound less ridiculous to people who think more critically about these books, which most Tamlin stans do; "he locked her up in his manor, but only because she was going to get herself in real danger" sounds a lot less ridiculous than "he sexually assaulted her for months on end, but only in order to protect her from drawing Amarantha's attention (when she wasnt even paying attention to her in the first place)", but again, Feyre is still allowed to be upset by that. I feel like theres this line of thinking among certain Tamlin stans where theyre like "yeah, tamlin locked feyre up in the manor and it rightfully upset her, but later on in the series rhysand locked her in a magical shield that prevented her from having any physical interacting with the outside world and she was fine with it, so she shouldve been fine with whattamlin did" and its like no!! If we're using real-world standards, which I understand we are from acomaf onward, then Feyre does not need any kind of justification for breaking up with someone. Tamlin couldve been the most wonderful and perfect and non-traumatized boyfriend ever and it wouldve been perfectly fine for her to be like "hey man, im not really vibing with this" and leave

And this I think is the most important thing because its what the two previous points ultimately stem from; they buy into the foundation of the narrative that these books present, which is that Feyre needs a man in her life, she needs to pick one of these two toxic guys or else her life isnt complete and she wont ever recover from her trauma, she needs good sex and romantic love in order to stop being broken. And I get it, you do need to buy into the narrative in order to properly engage with it, but whats the point of being critical of the misogyny in these books if youre not going to take a step back and realize when youre just accepting it?

And this is where I would have to start getting into the misogynistic baggage thats attached to mainstream romance as a genre and how trying to do all those typical steamy m/f romance tropes (the MOST dominant man, sexually inexperienced fmc, dubcon/noncon, rough sex, etc etc) while also trying to be feminist is setting yourself up for failure as an author, and setting your audience up for failure when they discuss your work, but Im getting tired and this is a pretty long post so Im gonna stop here. If you are interested in my further thoughts on this, idk maybe send me an ask and I'll get back to it. For now, I'll say that I dont think its impossible to write an m/f romance thats feminist, but know for a fact that its impossible for SJM

hyuck’s love for her has been building up for a long time actually since the first time he realised he really fucked up and hurt her (so start of part 2)…however it’s such a confusing feeling to fall in love especially when he’s so used to flings (with girls who don’t really care about getting to know the other side of him/continue seeing him) to meet someone who challenges him to step up and take care of them - that forces him out of his usual callousness and cruelty and bring out that part he usually only reserves for his family and close friends. it really fucked him up and he didn’t know how to handle it and he just kept falling deeper and deeper. i wanted to write more scenes of them just talking and interacting - but that date was the first time they’ve really met in an explicitly romantic context, and it gave him a taste of something he wanted to have forever. so he jumped the gun!!!! (it was also a product of him waiting so long to do something about it…he just couldn’t let it sit for any longer # clairo bags core)

and she likes him so much as well and she’s so attached but she is so so so scared….in the second part she wants to hold on to him so she suggests fwb, and when that doesn’t work out in the third part she starts seeing him less and starts trying to remove herself, but when someone you love comes to you in such a vulnerable way it’s really hard not to cave - because you could never hate them…. not really… but ultimately she’s still slipping back into old patterns of taking care of him and she doesn’t want to recreate the past because she doesn’t deserve that kind of volatile situation again </3 sometimes it really just does end after seeing each other again for the first time, properly, in a while, in the way you’ve wanted to since the day you met them — and you realise you could still want it so much you’ll never be able to live with it in your life without having it fully.

i get quite a lot of asks asking me why she’s different from the others and why he likes her and i think…yes she does love him different and it’s a strange situation they’re in but also — love kind of just works in mysterious ways 🙏🏻 you find yourself drawn to certain people and whether you call it a product of a past life or fate there is that special quality of having someone be different to you for no particular concrete reason - not necessarily because they’re prettier or more clever or even because they love you better. its just a precarious and special thing of two people finding each other at that specific time and place, just enough for them to get to know each other❤️‍🩹

her real name is Allegra (the music term, not the medicine LMAO) which I believe means fast in regards to tempo, which I think fits her (honestly I just chose the first name I thought of but I got attached to Allegra so whateverr)

her bday is July 4th

she associates her identity with Starlight Jubilee because of her bday - since she was young, her parties were usually done jointly with Starlight BBQ cookouts, and the nights often involved watching the fireworks from the roof w her siblings, causing her to associate herself with the fireworks, festivities, and then the holiday as a whole

she has a big family, like a shitton of siblings - Boomer is probably the middle child. as a result her parents' eyes weren't often on her and she had a distant relationship with them

they didn't abuse her or neglect her shes just ignored but it did affect her longterm

as a result of her neglect she really really likes attention, and especially did when she first started professionally being a daredevil

after a good couple of years (and getting into a couple of accidents along the way), she starts tiring from attention in the sense that she feels a little bit like people put her on a pedestal and think of her as invincible and untouchable in a way? like they can't separate her as a daredevil from her as a normal person and she's just Boomer the World-Famous Daredevil all the time so she gave up and keeps her persona on all the time but is internally Not okay

handles public attention well but can get overstimulated by the paparazzi and social interaction and it makes her snappy and temperamental. like if she's trying to do something like shopping and people are trying to talk to her or ask for autographs she gets pissed off, therefore people see her as always having a short fuse which is Not true

lots of scars. all over. like maybe burn scars (from friction or pyrotechnics) and scrapes. she hides them to make her not look weak though I think if you looked at her hands hard enough you'd notice them there

her greatest fear is getting into an accident that results in her being unable to do stunts - like, dying, okay, fine, it's inevitable, but losing the one thing that carried her through her life to this point would wreck her

this fear causes her to stress out over hers' and by projection others' safety like crazy. like if you don't wear your seat belt in the car she's not driving/going with you, and she yells at kids to wear helmets when they're biking (and they yell ok Boomer back and she cries for an hour /j)

she has two places of residence: one in Starlight City that's like almost a mansion and has an outdoor pool where she keeps her Powseekers, and a small apartment in Toastwood

I look at the beautiful woman before me as her son reached out for me. I recognized those beautiful eyes from anywhere. The way they sparkle and shine whenever they look at me.

And her son...he looked just like me, from the eyes to the hair and wings on his back. I could ask questions later but now I needed to get them out of this building. I reach out to the boy then to Y/n and take them both into my arms. I wonder if he fell could he save himself and not fall.

I dropped them by a group of people before flying off to rescue others. I had half of a mind to leave the people and wonder who's child it was, why she left me, wet she never told me. I saved as many as I could before the villain went crashing into the apartment building and another hero reversed it. Damn, I barely did anything....

Clapping could be heard from all around me. The people taking videos and pictures and thanking the heroes and me for the hard work. I walk over to her, a smile on my face as the kid gets excited. His wings even start poofing up and fluttering, juts like mine.

I reach out for his hand and look down at her with a smile. "You're like my twin! We have the same wings" The boy said and turned in his mothers arms. She smiled for me, one of those fake smiles she would do for guys all those years ago to make them think they were getting somewhere but in reality, they were just turning her off. Why flash me a fake smile? Its been years and she just stands there.

"Yeah I know, except mine are bigger" I said, flexing my wings at the kid and making him giggle. "What's your name Kid?"

"My name is Hiro and this is my mommy." He introduced himself and my long lost...

"Well it was nice to meet you mr.hawks sir. Thank you for saving us, I really appreciated it." She bowed and tried to walk away with Hiro but I grabbed her Arm and held us in place. "Don't try to act as if you don't know me Y/n. He's mine isn't he?" Her face is shocked more if that's even possible as she turns her head away. Few people have stopped to watch the interaction.

"Why would you leave? Why would you leave him without a father? Why wouldn't you tell me?" Tears would start to trickle out of her eyes. I hated seeing her cry, even if it was over her period or something I hated it. "He's my kid, I have the right to him!!"

I let go and watched her walk away with Hiro while she cleared her tears. Hiro asked her something but it was dismissed as they disappeared into the apartment building. This would definitely be in tabbilods later. Shit.

I watched, perched from a tree as Y/n dropped off Hiro at daycare. As stalker like this seemed, I was not a stalker. I needed answers, I needed to know everything. From beginning to end. I was skipping my patrol for this too.

Did she tell me? Did I ignore it? I remember that night. She thought I was drunk and she was and it happened. She confessed so many things that night. How she always loved me but I didn't reciprocate her feelings and how she wanted to grow old with me. I found it cute. I reciprocated them back but she just pretend like we didn't do anything.

I flew down in front of her, completely stopping her from walking back to her car. "Y/n, can we please talk? I need answers." She lets out a Long sigh and roll her eyes. "What Keigo?" I swear I let out a cheer in my head.

"Is Hiro mine? Is he my son?" I knew the answer.

"Yes, He's yours. But don't worry, we don't need any child support or want to be a waste of your time. We will be fine without you."

"Fine without me?! This is my son and you keep choosing for me. You choose my fate and Choose what I want to do without giving me the chance." How could she decide for me, I hate when people do that and she of all people should know. "I want to be apart of his life. Y/N. He's our son." house of leaves EXACTLY lol i love stuff like that. need more books like this and i feel like w/ daemons they can push even more boundaries.

daemon fashion my beloved it would really be so cool…god you know what would exist. something like a best friend necklace where each half gets half the necklace. maybe some of them are like best friend necklaces just with different words but there is for SURE some company that will make like. necklaces with your human/daemons face on them. so you can share those. i feel like this would be popular w/ people who just settled as a way to show off like look at us!!!! elephant!!! WAHOO!!!!

NOT THE HOSPITALS….i wonder if this would lead to specific species that are much smaller being common? since there would be less to wash…i could also see species without fur being more common (way less to shed!) and maybe even fish honestly…this WOULD require hospitals to be entirely reformatted to include places for fish to swim, but i feel like that could be really fun…bc the fish wouldn't need to be sterilized (not directly interacting w/ patients) but via tube systems could still get close enough to notice things the humans might not. i imagine maybe most doctors and nurses fit these specifics, but then there's also those with monkey daemons or something, for cases where you have to directly operate on a daemon and need the flexibility of like, opposable thumbs.

hmmm….i really like all of your ideas here. i imagine there would have to be a HUGE industry of like, all these tools we have that assume you have like, opposable thumbs to use…i mean, if you're a cat, thats, uh, gonna be kinda hard. like take writing--there must be something that allows all sorts of dameons to write things down. for some species i could imagine ink that you can just dip a claw/talon into, but for others it might be harder…maybe some sort of text-to-speech thing is developed sooner? i guess before that humans just write things FOR their daemons but thats no fun lol i want a pen a betta fish can use somehow.

oooh i didn't know humans could see uv light so that makes a lot of sense…i think the way i'd play that is that it WOULD probably happen if you settle that way, but is a bit less likely if its just a form you use sometimes…so like, the more you're in that form, the more likely it is that you're able to adapt to these new senses. but at the same time i do really like there being these distinctions between daemons and actual animals, so i would still say some things are off limits. i think this being a learned skill and not innate is the best of both worlds--some people WOULD fight out how to use and interpret ecolocation,new colors, etc, but others wouldn't care enough to bother. the colors working as being "more" is really good tho.

TECH W SO MANY BUTTONS YES…..i love this look i think buttons stick around for a LONG time, even when there is voice recognition…or at least both are offered rather than being removed from future generations of device. resistive touch screens would be a good idea too, and YES i want to see the itty bitty tiny phones made for mice and ants. water-resistant phones you can dunk in water for your fish-daemon. i mean realistically fish daemon get the short end of the stick but in an ideal world they get phones too <3 kids in classes who start texting theri daemons/humans rather than whispering to try to not be noticed. pov my ant daemon is hiding in my desk scrolling tumblr in math class but she and her phone are so small nobody notices.

yeah! severing is real fun to play around with lol, my ideas of it is like…adults will die basically 100% of the time bc (in the world where i was playing with it) settling is when you become for lack of a better word 'set in stone--' of course you're still capable of change and such but your sort of core self and baseline has been formed and that cant really. survive being cut in half. but if youre a KID, if youre still unsettled, there's a flexibility there--you aren't a 'full person' yet. you're basically a bunch of possiblites, as represented by, yknow, daemon changing. so there's a chance that you'll change in such a way that you CAN survive this shock, and figure out where to go next.

i think it would depend…personally i LOVE playing around in worlds that are Very Shitty about a lot of things so being a witch is 'breaking the rules' which are of course set in stone and unchangeable (<- that is, of course, a lie). i also tend to focus more on the daemon side lol, so, seeing a human without a daemon? not that strange. daemons can be hidden away. a daemon without a human? THATS something that has to be destroyed. because in this hierarchy, humans are on top. but of course thats just in the worlds and themes i enjoy exploring lol. lots of other ways to take it!

history is fun to think about…i dont usually touch on it in my fics bc i think most of my ideas are just Huge Bummers but i will hint at it sometimes! and i love a story that WILL tackle the way history has changed and different things have risen and fallen…very fun!

oh the alt history ideas in a world with daemons would be SO FUN. i think ive said this before but i want to see what a world with daemons would make of the prompt 'what if daemons didn't exist.' basically what a no-daemon au would look like in their world. i think it would be SO fascinating.

OOH SPEAKING OF HEART STOPPING near death experiences…not like comas where people are being kept alive but like, where you DO die but come back. i am not verse in the How behind this at ALL but near-death experiences where only one half comes back <3 bc im me i say daemon comes back (i imagine it takes some time for all the dust to disperse--so if you bring someone back quick enough, maybe you dont restart their heart, but the few sparks you got in trying is enough for the dust to come back together again?). tho yeah people in a world with daemons in general must have wayyyyy less times when people are accidentally buried when theyre still alive lol.
