Guess who read all of the Pokemon fic~? And, I got some art! A LOT of art For one... IT'S THE QUEEN LOAF!! Stare into her eyes. So majestic u_u

Then, I decided to draw Byakuya and all his Pokemon so far. Took me a bit to figure out a good outfit for the heir as it mentions he's in a suit, but I didn't wanna just put him in his standard suit. Also spruced up his hair. His Karen cut has evolved. Also, they're small but the B's are on the Pokeballs!! Ensured I kept the hights good btw since Larvesta is (pardon my American ways) 3ft, Eeevee is like a ft, and Byakuya is 6'1.

Then, I decided do draw them some more. Also, in regards to Byakuya and his girls, I tried making Eevee a bit more distinct than the standard Eevee. Might play around a bit more and might tweak her once she evolves so the shape language alludes to her future. Also, I wanted Byakuya to look like he's so not secretly gushing about his girls so I hope I did that well.

Finally, before I comment on the fic, I drew this silly drawing as well. Tried some shading too and gosh do I love how Larvesta turned out. She is indeed the fat loaf.

As for comments on the fic, very cute so far. Loving the petty energy with Byakuya and his rival. Also love all the gang slowly getting 2nd Pokémon together. Byakuya's got two fluffy girls on his hands now which I just love the pattern that he's so far got only female Pokémon. I dunno why but it makes my brain so happy. Just Byakuya and his smart though sometimes dumb girls. I mean, Eevee was literally bonking her head on the glass when they were at the aquarium like a freaking goober. Also, as for some other words which are mostly Byakuya based cus my gosh and I gushing about him and his team, like, Eevee is a cute addition. I like him carrying her and also liked when he told Eeeve the drama about him and his rival. Which, I just love that he just has full blown conversations with his Pokemon and he gossips with them. Shows he treats them both well and that he really is considerate of their feelings. Like when he noticed Eevee wanted to see the aquarium and let her do her own thing and explore. Another thing I wanna mention is Kijo's Alteria. She is gorgeous and I like that, like father like song, both have elegant clingy queens for Pokémon with fluffy white fur. It was so adorable when Alteria just pounced on the heir. Very precious detail too that Byakuya was comfy and could have just conked out on the spot. Maybe he needs an Alteria of his own. Maybe he'd sleep better. Which, another note, I love Larvesta being a canonical bed hog. I can just tell he gave up long ago on getting her off the damn bed. I know these are very disjointed thoughts but gooooosh! I could blabber on for several more asks. Genuinely. My brain is enthralled with almost ever fic I read from you. I swear! And I actually am so freaking attached to Larvesta. As I said prior, a part of me wants her to stay a loaf forever like how some Pokemon in the anime never evolved like Ash's Toadadile or, more obviously, his Pikachu. She's too precious as hell and I don't want her to change T-T I totally get if you let her evolve though!! Don't let my goober ways change your plans heheh!! But yeah! I made this jam packed with stuff this time around heehhe!! Am shocked tbh cus I legit did not expect my art block to just be cured cus of a buggy fire loaf. I am so drawing more of these guys too! much like cinders, snow was designed to be in compliment to rose! we know from the album that she was beautiful and had long black hair but beyond that i wanted to make sure she looked like she could feasibly be rose's sister. she is also a bear girl <3

snow is fat! it was very important to me that she was fat with stretch marks and still extremely beautiful. so, here she is !!

i gave her a beauty mark because it's very classic hollywood beauty

you also probably couldn't actually see her tail at this angle because tiny bear tail but its so cute!

since this is pre becoming general white, she's a lot softer and gentler than her sister

snow is exceptionally wealthy and powerful so of course she has a monogrammed silk dressing gown. she doesn't actually wear it to sleep; she overheats way too quickly so she wears very little to bed.

yes, snow is wearing a wedding ring. since she's 29 and the head of a noble house, i figured she would be married. it was an arranged marriage to darr, the youngest child of some count somewhere because ze is entirely unambitious and willing to let snow do her thing

they also have a son together. his name is eret, he is 3, he looks up to auntie rose a little too much, his favorite animals are snakes and penguins, and he will quote space-disney at you incessantly.

duchess work dress

snow is the grand duchess of the duchy of delinore. she is the only grand duchess in the entire empire; this is the title that is equivalent to crown prince. yes she is technically his majesty king cole's heir due to being the current hereditary grimm on the throne of delinore. this is mostly a ceremonial fact since his majesty is immortal. delinore is 12 inhabited planets large and covers an entire star system which makes her perhaps the most powerful woman in the galaxy. snow is very tired all the time.

i was watching disney's snow white while designing this and the next outfit; i really like the blue and yellow look on her

this is a modular outfit! she can put on and take off the vest and cape depending on how formal she needs to be.

snow wears a lot of jewelry. this earring and necklace set was an anniversary present from her spouse!

the silver circlet atop her head is that of the duchess. you'll see it in almost every other outfit afterwards; it's like a wedding ring but for her noble status

court of stars

as his majesty's heir, snow is required to take part in the irregular meetings of his majesty's inner court: the court of stars. much of the lesser laws are handled by the council of stars and the other, lesser nobility. full disclosure: snow fucking hates this. she uses her position to do much good in the world and views his majesty like an extremely shitty and powerful grandfather she has to put up with in order to do what she needs to do. if the wedding day slaughter hadn't happened, she would still have eventually caused his death through an insane game of "political assassination cat and mouse." Y'know, different from the war.

lorewise, this is the ceremonial outfit of her status tailored to her feminine appearance. black and red cape, deep purple dress, shiny gold jewelry, all designed to be as evil as possible

the bear clasp is the same as rose's! its the grimm family's symbol (cuz. they're all bears lol)

she absolutely didn't have to go this hard with the makeup but she had fun with it. a small relief when dealing with his majesty

the crown is the ceremonial black iron crown of the grand duke that only ever comes out in court meetings. it's a smaller version of his majesty's black iron crown. its really heavy :(

the return of the blue and yellow! this is snow's favorite color combo to wear ever <3

snow likes to wear pants when she doesn't have to deal with the many duties of being the grand duchess. it's her casual fit!

this particular set of jewelry has the snowflake motif. it's extremely on the nose which is why she likes it.

i dunno what tank tops with the extra shoulder straps are called but i thought it suited her <3

she would fully wrestle rose in this fit btw. she wouldn't win but it'd be fun!

ballgown

snow's ballgown for wearing to formal events (that she typically hosts). technically she owns a lot more, but this one is representative of her usual style. the bodice is typical, though it is a bit risque because it has no sleeves. the skirt is even moreso but she pulls it off because of her status and because she is commonly named the most beautiful woman in all the galaxy.

i thought it would be fun to put her in red! its such a loaded color in ouatis but she really pulls it off

the boots are big and shiny and quite excessive; fully a display of wealth (especially since she's showing them off)

the drape of her skirt, rather than being modest and layered like cinders', is very form fitting and attention grabbing even without the slit

she would put her hair up but i did not have the patience to try and redraw her hair more than i had to lol

the gold jewelry she wears is big and heavy and almost armor-like. she likes it a lot

June is about to come to an end, but thought I’d drop some art anyways. And I’m right on time because today is Sailor Moon’s birthday! Way back in March, I drew Randy and Sharon as Goku and Chichi, now I’m drawing some other South Park characters I love as another Toei Animation anime couple I love. My girls Laura and Ms. Tweak dressed up as everyone’s favorite Sailor Scout cousi- oop- I mean couple. That kinda slipped out teehee 🤭

These two ladies have always been another one of some of my favorite parents in the show. I just absolutely love Laura’s strong-willed, no-nonsense, zero f’s given attitude, and her constant use of just flipping the bird. Also loved how accepting she was of Craig being gay, along with the relationship she has with her hubby, Thomas. She also shares the same name as my mom :D

As for Ms. Tweak (who I sometimes call by my fan name for her, Tabitha), while I don’t love her or find her as interesting as Laura, I still really like her, she’s a very calm and tranquil woman, and I find it funny how she’s a bit of a coffeeholic lol

I also kinda ship these two, Ik that they’re already married, but I just think that they’d make a cute couple. Besides, I’ve seen other people in the fandom ship the other parents with each other, like Randy x Gerald or Sharon x Liane (both ships I really enjoy as well), so Imma include Laura x Ms. Tweak as part of the bunch too because yes. They’d honestly have a fun dynamic 💕

Been wanting to crossover South Park with Sailor Moon for a very very long time because it’s one of my absolute favorite animes of all time, and I’ve been currently obsessing over it again for the past few months 😭

Thought that drawing them as Sailor Uranus and Neptune would be pretty fitting for these two, since they both share similar personalities, and Neptune and Ms. Tweak practically share the same theme colors of their main outfits. Definitely planning on drawing the other ladies as the rest of the Sailor Team, since I already have some art planned for them like Sharon as Moon, Shelly as Chibi Moon, Liane as Mercury, Carol as Jupiter, Wendy as Saturn, etc.

Okay so I watched these two One Piece movies over the past couple of nights and the different experiences that I have gone through with both of these movies... First of all... I had A LOT of fun watching both of them (tbh more fun than when I watched the One Piece: Red) and I want to watch it again just from recalling it. I won't go super in depth, this is just me going on a tangent about em.

One Piece Gold (left) was a lot of fun, I loved the premise where they entered this huge ass island/boat city of gold filled with entertainment and casinos (I'm like "ohhh they're on the strip! LOL). I liked the build up of the plot and backstory of the villain. Tbh I think this movie did a way better job at building up the villain in comparison to One Piece Red where it just... IMMEDIATELY went into action??? I enjoy being able to immerse myself in the specific plot and feel of a movie, and so I think this movie did better in that aspect. ALSO, THERE WERE SO MANY OUTFIT CHANGES IN THIS MOVIE!!! It's so cute that for a number of them, they're all matching??? Also... um... Zoro in the beginning of the movie where he just had the baseball cap and he's shirtless... uhhhhh he looked so good wtf... wished they had him in that for longer LOL I also thought Luffy looked SO CUTE in the all white outfit with the orange shades and cowboy hat. Really enjoyed the Sabo appearance in this, tho wished I saw him crush a guy's head!! LOOOL Anyway, really liked this movie.

One Piece movie 6: Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island is what I watched last night after holding it off since FOREVER AND TBH I DON'T THINK I'LL LIKE A ONE PIECE MOVIE MORE THAN THIS ONE LOOOL. So the main reason why I wanted to watch this movie was primarily because of the ART STYLE. I LOVE HOW CUTE AND EXAGGERATED IT IS. The flat colors, lanky limbs, thin lines, angles, and expressiveness UGH EVERYTHING. I kept wondering why it felt so familiar and it's because the director of this movie is Mamoru Hosoda! And he directed movies like Mirai (my Goro projection movie), Summer Wars, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Wolf Children (I watched this movie when I was in a 3 hour life drawing class and was bawling), etc. ANYWAY-- his influence was STRONG in this movie because the thing I like about his style is the human INTERACTIONS he has between the characters and showing the closeness, with their touches, or expression, and even utilizing the awkward silences in the conversations. It was SO nice seeing the Straw Hats interact in this kind of way and I am just IN LOVE WITH HOW LUFFY LOOKED IN THIS MOVIE HE WAS SO CUTE I LOVE HIM!!! I also love how when Nami wanted Luffy's attention, she would just GRAB HIS FACE. So anyway, as I was looking more into who was involved in this movie, I saw that Masahiro Ito did the screenplay. I had to do a double take on that name. BITCH. OF COURSE HIS NAME WAS FAMILIAR BECAUSE THAT MAN IS THE ART DIRECTOR FOR TEAM SILENT? MR PYRAMID HEAD CREATOR MAN HIMSELF. WHAT IS HE DOING WRITING THE SCREENPLAY FOR THIS ONE PIECE MOVIE. The whole time I'm just thinking "Oh my god. This movie is going to get REALLY weird." And my god... for One Piece/shounen standards... yeah. There are scenes where I had to turn around to Hun while I was watching and go "... You seeing this." LOL LIKE... I KNOW THIS MOVIE WILL NOT BE EVERYONE'S CUP OF TEA BUT I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT??? It was like watching the weirdest collab One Piece fanfiction come to life. I just really appreciate the direction and vibe this movie had and seeing One Piece in this kind of style. Honestly would love if other anime directors wanted to take their own spin of One Piece and just make a movie. Yah well that's my tangent, I love One Piece LOL

Hey Arnold! - another childhood favorite... this one doesn't reflect on my actual style so much, but it's a big influence on the stories and characters i like and create. if i could make everyone watch only one cartoon, it would be hey arnold

Persona 5, sketchbooks, @meruz - if you look at more than one page of this blog, you can probably guess i like p5(r)!! a lot!! i love all the characters, even if you mostly see me drawing the protag and akechi bc i'm a shipper at heart lol... i'm always inspired by sketchbooks of other artists! especially proper sketchbooks, where they're messy and worked in and aren't curated to be "good looking" for people to look at. that said, this is a page meruz posted from one of their sketchbooks (go buy them) and i adore meruz's work! i got into their work a while back and their lineart really drew me in, the lineweight and use of spot blacks is delicious. i need to work more on those in my own art and meruz's work always makes me want to do just that

Dolls - and here we take a little detour from the obvious? i sadly don't own this doll :( she's a rune naito fashion doll and i want one so badly. i collect dolls, especially fashion dolls!! i love their designs!! i usually just leave them in their stock outfits bc those are part of the charm to me. i wanna draw my dolls more, but for now they're just a big influence on design and outfits for characters

Amanda Lafrenais - i've been following amanda for so many years i can't keep count anymore!! her style blends "western" and "anime" so well to me and also she just draws lots of pretty women?? also we love queens who draw different body types

Roleplaying (pixelated image from wiki-how) - i've been roleplaying, mostly just with my bestie erin, since i was like 14? i draw stuff inspired by our roleplays soooo much, whether it's from a scene or just "what if"s we threw around. erin is a brilliant writer, has great ideas, and she's basically the GM even tho it's collaborative writing-based rping lmao... im just like "erin come up with a plot and we can shoot ideas back and forth" lol

Drawfee - no idea anymore how i came across drawfee but it's a really fun and funny channel and i'll do some of their challenges on my own sometimes!! (my favorite is the 30s character from memory challenge, i'll have erin give me characters and time me) also they have a ttrpg-style series called Drawtectives that has great characters!!! also every time julia draws a scene im like "ah i want that to be me..."

The Golden Age of Illustration - i'm such a junkie for cartoons and anime and comics and such, i don't really know the classics OOPS... but in the past year or two i've gotten really into what's apparently known as the "golden age of illustration"!! roughly the 1880's to 1920s, there's a lot of fairy/folk tale art from this era and i'm obsessed with all of it. standout mentions that i love to look at the work of are kay nielsen and edmund dulac

there's something to be said about this story and elspeth's story connecting virtue with economic status. aziraphale appears to think about that when it's pointed out, but takes entirely the wrong lesson from it, as we see with elspeth later.

I don't hate cold weather, but I get cold really easily and it's quite annoying. I have insomnia and find it hard to sleep and as a resuot I'm quite sleep deprived 😔.

Ummm small story about me, had a rough childhood because my classmates and parents were pretty mean to me, and for a long time I was afraid of being judged and hurt, so I bottled up my feelings and closed myself off. But I realized it would be lonely and sad if I just drown in negative feelings, and that instead I should heal and use my understanding and experience with being hurt to comfort others, and be kind and strong no matter what.

"You're warm," you muttered, making her laugh again.

"I thought this wasn't working?"

"That doesn't mean I want to stop cuddling. It just means I'm not sleeping!"

"Fair point. Do you just want to chat then? Or…"

She pulled out the pen she always keeps on hand, and gave it to you before brandishing the back of her hand.

"My perfect knight," you laughed, beginning to doodle.

"Don't forget it," she teased

H20 mermay redesign

So in honour of mermay, and my rewatching h20 a couple of months ago, I did a redraw of the characters from h20 with my own head cannons and some explaining of my redesigns of course (: I really think that an animated reboot (not the one Netflix did) would be perfect for this show, and I wanted to convey my ideas. I also did try the make the designs resemble the actors at least a little bit.

Ricky

I love Ricky with all my heart, she’s definitely in my top 3 characters from this show. I’m obsessed with her hair in season one, especially when she puts it into braids. I kept her red motif from the first season as well. I want her to wear very early 2000s-esque grunge clothing. In terms of her mermaid look, I changed her colour to this orange/red-ish colour, and added details to make it look like flames.

I know a lot of people like to headcannon her as a lesbian, but personally I don’t. I think that she’s definitely pansexual with zero preferences and would go by she/her pronouns but would be ok with they/them.

Cleo

I honestly had so much fun with Cleo’s design. She has a bit of a bohemian style in the first season, but I decided to trade for a little more preppy look that I think reflects her character more. She’s sweet, caring, a little naive, but good spirited. So I put her in a trendy outfit with some cute patches to keep that homemade look. For her mermaid look, I wanted it to look like lace to mirror the patches on her skirt, and of course, it had to be purple.

My asexual ass has to headcannon her as ace and heteromantic. She’s also got the purple motif so that just adds to the ace-ness. She/her pronouns.

Emma

Emma’s design came really easily to me. I wanted to give her a kind of periwinkle colour scheme to match her ice. Her human design is simple, but I really wanted to keep it modern and trendy. Athleisure with high socks and bicycle shorts (and of course a sparkly top). Her mermaid design also came really easily to me, as I gave her sharp sparkly edges to resemble ice. Is it difficult to make a blonde, ice-themed character not look like Elsa? Yes

If anyone in the main three is a lesbian in my eyes it’s her. She’s hella gay with she/they pronouns.

Charlotte

Lol I don’t think I have anything positive to say about charlotte but damn I had so much fun drawing her. I really wanted her to look soft and sweet but give her the nastiest attitude ever. I put her in a preppy school girl outfit with soft pastel pink to make her look unassuming (at least to Lewis) and of course the necklace that the other three girls have.

She/her, straight.

Will

Threw a curveball at you didn’t I? That’s right, this is where my head cannons start, along with my inability to draw abs. Rewatching season 3, it only made sense to make him a mermaid instead of Bella, and I honestly feel like it could’ve been more interesting. Imagine him as a diver who got just a little too curious around Mako, and accidentally turns into a mermaid. His dreams of become a diver are ruined, however he got to be happy doing what he loved (exploring the ocean). It just makes more sense in my opinion.

For his main colour, I changed his motif of blue to green. I wanted to keep the blue colour for Emma and Lewis, and I honestly just felt like it suits him better. In terms of his powers, maybe the ability to control plants? Idk

He’s probably straight, maybe bi-curious. Goes by he/they but wouldn’t object to any pronoun. The chillest dude.

Bella

Bella was probably the hardest to adapt just cause I don’t love her character in the show. I decided to make her not a mermaid, and instead a love interest. I felt like it suited her better. I wanted to keep her colour palette soft and muted, and put her in sweet, bohemian style clothing. I feel like she would become a good friend of the main trio after the betrayal by charlotte. She would be an excellent friend and totally keep their secret as well as fall in love with Will.

Definitely bisexual, not opposed to a flirtationship with Emma (I just want them to meet) She/they.

Lewis

Look at this disaster man. I put him in messy clothes cause he probably couldn’t give two shits about what he looks like. He really does just want to go fishing.

Biromantic asexual (yes I am in fact projecting onto these characters). He/him.

Zane

I personally love Zane. I know he’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but I love characters who are shitty people and even when they’re on “the side of good”, they continue to be shitty people. Just more focused and positive. When I was a kid I was 100% on board with his relationship with rikki, and honestly a part of me still is. So for my headcannon, he doesn’t cheat on her, the cafe doesn’t get in the way of their relationship, and he treats Rikki so much better. Cause they had fantastic chemistry and I don’t want it to go to waste.

For his design I gave him two looks, a casual motorcycle riding outfit, and of course a business suit. I made his main colour black, but I had to give him dark red accents as a nod to Ricky.

Heterosexual, he/him.

Lastly

The love interests as mermaids. This is not a part of my headcannon (yet). In terms of powers I have a couple ideas that do, in fact, include Lewis being able to talk to marine life. Poor boy will never go fishing again. In terms of Bella’s powers i really hate what they gave her, so I was thinking wind or bubbles or something air-related. As for Zane? He’s definitely the hardest to pin down for powers but I’m thinking either shadow manipulation or storm related powers (like lightning). Maybe a combo of both.

Well I’m done writing this all out and mermay is over so fuck me I guess. That’s what I get for making this post with 20 minutes left of may. I hope you had fun reading my post and looking at my art. I probably won’t draw more of this headcannon but idk I do what I want

Witch Etteilla is...whatever. She has good attack animations, I suppose. Obvious Fun Fact: Mel, Nagisa, and technically Ui and Isabeau are the only characters whose witches can be fought against ingame.

5: A Witch’s Magi "It's raining again today. How long will I continue to be unlucky for?" You can’t draw a MG Patricia that’s not in a school uniform, it’s just against the rules! Wish I made it more clear, but she’s wearing a t-shirt underneath the dress, since I was going for “an ordinary girl who became special but is still so everyday” sort of look.

16: Make a Costume for a Witch Christmas Patricia: School’s out for the holidays, so she’s put on a festive Santa coat and new gloves, but still wears her school uniform underneath. Perhaps she had to dress up for some school-related obligation handed over to her, when nobody else in her class wanted to deal with it during their break.

1: Anime Witch Patricia was a fucking beast in her Magia Record cameo. Not only did she totally wipe the floor with Madoka and Homura, but she also probably wiped out half of the remaining budget on a fight scene that was too overanimated to even understand.

8+29: Magia Record Witch + School Uniform Witch Of course, what other school uniform would suit the witch who considers herself the personification of cuteness best, than the school uniform that belongs to the cutie Himena Aika?

17+31: Doppel + Halloween Costume Witch Literal Ghost Kazari Jun Halloween event where Jun has totally returned back to Japan from America overseas, and tells everybody about her time trick-or-treating and the cool horror movies she watched, and everybody in Neo-Magius has a fun Halloween reunion.

Her outfit is based on the Michael Myers sheet ghost outfit and the film reel shows stills of Psycho because by the time I finished, I remembered Michael Myers came from Halloween, but I was too lazy to do the fix. I have not seen either of those movies. The holes are supposed to show a corn field, but I couldn’t find a good picture. The hair is white, like somebody’s been shocked so bad their hair turns white.

Trolley (original) is honestly such a charming Doppel, since I too also have my nostalgia trips on occasion. The design, lore and battle animation is sooo good and I like Jun’s character, but damn did her character design do her so dirty. Sorry Jun, we can’t all be winners or alive

So everyone has their own portrayals/headcanons for Akiren’s personality and relationships when they create content with him, I decided to write out how I portray him! ☕️❤️⭐️✨

I love the name Ren Amamiya for him. It’s translation is pretty much Lotus flower in a Rain Palace (so cute!!).

I headcanon him as a trans boy! Pronouns are he/him! 🏳️‍⚧️ He’s gotten top surgery and trains his voice to be deep.

Ren is very shy, quiet and sweet when you first meet him, but once he’s comfortable around someone he becomes a bit more talkative, cheeky and a lil’ bratty.

Country Boy alert! This boy is SO in tune with nature. He loves plants so much, he started a tiny garden in his attic. He uses the herbs and flowers he grows to make spices and sugars for pastries! 🥖🥐🍰

He’s also fascinated with the stars. He likes to sit on the roof of Leblanc at night to stargaze. ⭐️✨

We all know Ren is a cat in a human’s body! He likes chilling in small spaces, cuddling soft things like pillows and plush toys, and taking naps! Number one way to buy his love? Head scritches!

His favorite things to eat (besides Leblanc curry lol) are donuts, bread, cotton candy, sushi, and ramen. He also loves strawberry milk but can’t drink too much or his tummy will hurt.

Ren has an oral fixation. Whenever he’s feeling nervous, stressed or on the verge of an anxiety attack he NEEDS something to chew or suck on. His go to is lollipops because his mother liked them too. If he doesn’t have a lollipop on hand, he’ll just suck his thumb.

Old fashioned boy, can’t figure out how to use today’s devices to save his life.

Only one he uses is a Nintendo Switch to play Animal Crossing and Cooking Mama! still needs help from Futaba sometimes lol

Ren is such a sweetie…

He never notices when someone is flirting with him. He can’t take a hint. Send him flowers? Oh nice, he’ll talk your ear off about flowers! Buy him sweets? Good, he was getting hungry! Compliment him? He’ll give you one too! Fr is anyone wants to date this boy they gotta grab him by the face and tell him to him straight.

At the same time, Ren is so sweet he never sees the bad in people. Which in turn makes it far too easy for him to be taken advantage of. He’s quick to blame himself for everything even if nothing was his fault.

Ren’s relationships with others! ❤️

Ryuji

Ryuji is his absolute best friend! Those two are inseparable. They hangout together the most!

Ren likes falling asleep in Ryuji’s lap and getting headpats from him.

Ryuji always knows when something is bothering his friend. The second he sees Ren pulling his hair and tapping his heel, he’s the first to pull him aside and ask him what’s wrong along with a feel better hug.

It’s not uncommon for Ryuji to always have an arm around Ren’s shoulder or waist just to keep him safe.

Ann

Besties!!

Ann thinks Ren is absolutely ADORABLE! Girl straight up pampers him like a baby brother. ❤️

She’s always taking Ren shopping for clothes. Once she discovered he likes pastels she went all out on finding the cutest outfits for him to wear.

Ann is always carrying sweets in her school bag, so whenever Ren is tugging on her sleeve and quietly asking for candies with his cute lil face she doesn’t hesitate to give him some. When she found out sucking on a lollipop calms Ren down, she made sure to always have a couple in her bag.

Morgana

Ren sees Morgana as the ultimate plush toy most of the time.

At first Mona didn’t enjoy constantly being picked up and cuddled half to death, but he accepted his fate after a while.

It’s actually nice to know he can provide Ren with comfort.

Morgana takes his job of being Ren’s cuddle buddy very seriously!

Yusuke

Something about the artist’s aura is incredibly soothing to Ren. He likes to be in Yusuke’s presence whenever he’s drawing or painting.

Whiiich often leads to Ren falling asleep and Yusuke having a stroke because GOD if Ren isn’t the most flawless prettiest thing he’s ever laid eyes on. Fr half his sketchbooks are full of drawings of Ren asleep.

They love going to the park and stargazing together!

Makoto

So you know how cats react to people they don’t like?

Yeah.

These two are not a good match

That brief time when Makoto was stalking him was extremely stressful for Ren and he didn’t like it. It doesn’t help that Makoto is still so strict and wants to be a police officer after everything Ren’s been through.

Futaba

SOS Ren has no idea what she’s saying most of the time

Futaba teases him for not knowing about basically anything modern and drags him to watch anime with her and talk his ear off. Sweet Ren still doesn’t get it but it’s nice to see Futaba so happy about something she loves!

Haru

Oh, she’s basically his mom.

Ren was having a panic attack once, so Haru pulled him to lay on her chest so she could stroke his hair and calm him down. He started sucking his thumb and that was the exact second she was like “this is my baby now, I’ve adopted him”.

Haru was excited when she saw Ren little garden and they trade gardening tips often! Sometimes they bring all the crops and herbs they grew separately and make delicious treats for their friends with them!

Goro

/deep breath/

DO I HAVE TO SAY IT?

Goro is Ren’s number one protector. Ren is the only person that can cuddle up to him and give him physical affection. Ren could spend an entire Phantom Thieves meeting sitting in Goro’s lap and playing with his hair and Goro wouldn’t bat an eye.

Similar to Ryuji, Goro always notices when something is up with Ren. Occasionally he’ll give Ren a little present like a plush toy, candy, or just shiny trinkets he knows Ren will love just to see him happy.

Whenever Ren is really stressed or upset about something, Goro is the one he’ll call.

Ren spends time at Goro’s apartment a lot where they have lots of movie nights with cuddles :3

Highschool of the Dead

As I've most likely discussed at length in previous media recommendations, fan service is a contentious topic these days. Not just in anime and manga, but fictional entertainment in general. There's a question on if we really need fanservice.

Now fanservice is wide encompassing term, in the broadest sense it is content in a piece of media which is there to mainly please fans. It doesn't make the story better, just a crumb to please parts of the audience that know the reference. When I brought up this topic to my friend, he referred to this as "I clapped when I saw it" fanservice. Think Marvel movie credit stingers.

But what I mean by fanservice in this article is shameless eyecandy. What that same friend referred to as "Hey there's a butt on screen" fanservice. Since a lot of anime is aimed for older teens and young adults, there is commonly a healthy helping of unnecessary flashing, form fitting clothing, and convenient clumsiness in a variety of series.

As someone who has tried to explore a lot different anime genres, I have come across fanservice in many forms, and today I want to discuss where it is and is not appropriate. Using examples, I want to talk about 3 different types of fanservicey anime:

Fanservice is the draw of the anime, other aspects of the series are secondary to the fanservice.

Fanservice is not the focus, and while there is technically more fanservice than the story requires, it does not hurt the atmosphere.

Fanservice is out of place in the story and setting, it's inclusion is jarring and unnecessary, and actively ruins the mood of the story.

Hip Whip Girl: Keijo!!!!!!!

Keijo is a Sports/Shonen anime about girls fighting in bikini watersports. The series' draw is the fanservice and honestly, there wouldn't be much holding it together without it.

I've talked about Keijo before when discussing problematic recommendations, but as a basic rehash; the series follows Nozomi, a young girl who left a promising gymnast career to attend a women-only academy for athletes of the highly televisable sport: Keijo. In this sport, contestants stand on floating platforms in the centre of a pool and try to knock their opponent into the water without using their arms or legs. So of course, the butt and boobs become the main weapons of the series.

...I'm an ass-man

Keijo exists to show off the female body in action. The character designs are fun, but their personalities and story arcs are very basic. The action is flashy and fun, but again, it's just butts and boobs, but with special effects lol. Keijo is a fun watch, but don't expect anything deep.

My Dress-Up Darling

In the last week or so, I finished watching a newer series called My Dress-Up Darling. The series is a Slice of Life about the struggles of amateur cosplay. Given that the subject matter of the series involves dressing up and modelling, it makes sense that there's fanservice here and there, but in my opinion, it doesn't overstay its welcome.

Basic plot summation: we follow Gojo, a social outcast with a one-track mind obsession on making ornamental Hina Dolls at his grandfather's shop. This hobby has made him quite skilled at making custom clothing for the dolls, and this attracts the attention of popular classmate Marin, who reveals to him that she is a wannabe cosplayer but is hopeless at making costumes. He helps her put together cosplay outfits and through their interactions, they become very close friends, much to Gojo's surprise.

While many Slice of Life's tend to be stiff in terms of the actual animation, and linger on stills for that sweet fanservice, My Dress-Up Darling is surprisingly fluid. Characters movements are fun and dynamic, and even low energy moments have subtle cute little movements.

You just don't see movement this fluid in slice of life very often

As discussed above, the subject matter does warrant fanservice. Marin dresses down to lingerie for measurements and to try on fairly revealing outfits, and while the series does tend to linger a bit more than it needs to on these awooga moments, I never felt they ruined the atmosphere. The seeds of a romance are planted in this first season, so some flustered embarrassent doesn't hurt, but I feel this season was more about friendship than romance, and I like that.

If you're not a huge fan of fanservice, but the set up and concept appeal to you, it was a good watch, and the fanservice probably won't ruin it for you. If you do like fanservice, you'll like this.

Highschool of the Dead

Highschool of the Dead seems to be suffering from a conflicting personality problem. The setting and characters are being pulled into two opposing directions, and while some series can pull off the "blank story but with a unique twist" concept, I feel that fanservicey highschooler romcom and bloody zombie apocalypse action thriller is a combo that doesn't work.

Quick plot synopsis: a group of highschoolers and a school nurse are at school right as a zombie outbreak occurs. We follow the group as they escape the school and move from location to location through a mostly fallen city to find safe haven from the zombie threat.

This set up by itself works in concept, but for some reason, Highschool of the Dead is one of the horniest anime I've seen yet. There's lots of that goofy unintentional groping, and face full of boob when the male characters trip into their female classmates. There's a bath/sauna episode, where the girls lounge around teasingly in their towels. And every fanservice moment like this is minutes before or after a gruesome zombie attack where an unnamed crowd character gets mauled, or zombies are mowed down with powerful firearms, boobs jiggling all the while. It is so jarring.

The boob tripod is infamous

As someone who admittingly sought out the series for the fanservice, I feel the bloody violence and constant threat of a vicious death ruined any enjoyment of the lewdness. Conversely, if you sought out this series because it is a thriller, I feel like the unnecessary fanservice ruins the pacing and atmosphere of the action. Too gorey for a lewd romcom, too lewd for a gorey action thriller.

I know I'm discussing this anime in what it is usually a recommendation article series, but I feel this one is really hard to recommend. It is definitely a fanservicey anime but in my opinion, it doesn't work.

Encanto Character Reviews: MIRABEL

BEFORE YOU READ: Okay folks, so to start my Encanto posts, I’m going to start with the character reviews first! I’ll still review the movie and all, but to make things easier, I’m going to make posts on how I feel about each character, starting with our main gal, Mirabel! Before we start, at one point I will be showing two screenshots on discord that I wrote when I talked about the character, cuz since I’m lazy I don’t feel like retyping it lol. Anyway, here we go!

PROS: So I really like Maribel! Not only is she the perfect person to choose to be the main character, but she’s SO DAMN RELATABLE and that’s a good thing. She’s a fun character, If you asked me what would happen if you put her in a room, the room would be bursting with lively energy, wether they be positive OR negative emotions. There are SO many things to like about her. She’s kind, caring, daring, optimistic, and she just loves her family so much to the point where she’ll do anything to make them proud. Not only is she optimistic though, she can get angry, upset, she’s also awkward, and even she herself is flawed when you think about it, and all of these are GOOD things. It’s so amazing because I legit see myself in her. Growing up I was just so goofy and lively, I acted zany but I also could be gentle and caring and REALLY REALLY emotional. I know it’s not just me that relates to her, I know there are tons of other people out there who probably feel the same way, like how you want to make your family proud and/or be seen, and it’s a lot. I just have to thank the crew for wanting to make Maribel pop out even though she has no gift, and she DOES. After really thinking about it, she’s so unlike the rest of the cast. I’m not going to go into heavy detail, but let me use a small example with her sisters. Luisa is bigger, stronger, and a hard worker. Despite all of that, she’s soft and caring, as well as downright emotional. Then you have Isabela, (in general, so I’m not counting her change in the end of the movie) who’s the oldest golden child, perfect, sort of stern like Alma, collected, and restrained. They’re all their own characters in their own unique way, but I feel like if all three of them were in a room together, Maribel would stick out, if y’all get what I’m saying. I also really like the tiny details about Maribel, like I freaking LOVE how all of the families symbols are on her skirt. That idea is just so CUTE and so good. I also like how despite she talks about how amazing her family is and her family reflecting on her outfit, she isn’t afraid to show HERSELF, like the cute little details on her purse. She seems to really like animals and environment varies, ESPECIALLY butterflies lol, as most of those are on her shirt and purse when you look at the concept art. I also like the drawings she did in the nursery, and how she obviously loves to sew. Another thing I wanted to bring up is what everyone’s been saying, she’s SO EXPRESSIVE, and I love it. It doesn’t even feel forced, because she’s the only one who’s like that, aside from Pepa, who I would also say is expressive. Can I just say I’m so glad we’re out of the “WOMEN CAN’T BE GOOFY AND EXPRESSIVE” era? Another thing I love is how Maribel knows that she’s worthy deep down, it was what caused her to snap at Alma. Sure, she felt insecure in a few scenes and wanted a miracle and all, but I love how the movie didn’t have her moping the ENTIRE time, it was more making the family proud and showing what she could do. Okay I’ve said a LOT, and we haven’t gotten to the cons yet (don’t worry there’s not a lot) so in conclusion, she’s...honestly amazing. There.

CONS: I’M GOING TO SAY IT NOW, I ONLY HAVE 2 PROBLEMS.

The first problem isn’t huge, but the second one is. (The one with the two images I mentioned above.) The first one is that....I’ve noticed how a lot of people “thank” Disney for not making Maribel the “awkward dorky glasses girl” trope. While I agree they didn’t make her character 100% that, I had to disagree because there WERE some scenes in which they did treat her that way, like how she trips, falls, bumps into things ect, it’s all screamed “HAHA LOOK SHE FELL SHE’S SO DORKY LOL”, and it made me roll my eyes. Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t a BAD THING to do or like, something I hate, I still stand by what I said, I actually LIKED how Maribel was goofy, but yeah, if I’m being honest, those scenes where you were supposed to laugh at them making her look clumsy and dorky made me roll my eyes. I don’t think it’s a bad trope, I just think it’s been done so many times but this is a nitpick, I still love Maribel lol.

The second and final problem are explained in these two images below. I typed this a little back in a discord server when I was sharing my opinions on how I felt about Maribel, so this is how I felt AT THE TIME:

BEFORE YOU HATE ME LET ME ELABORATE: There’s a few things I want to say because my mind did change on a few parts over time, like how I said I think she adds nothing to the table outside of being lively and energetic. I think she legit DOES add something to the table, and opposite to what I said here, I do think they did something more with her character outside of the stereotype I mention. Sadly though, my mind still stands with what I said overall. I’ll say this, I think calling her “boring” was waaay too harsh of me. It’s not really that she’s boring, it’s just that for some reason, I look at the other characters around her and find them more interesting, and want to know more. I finally figured out the REASON to that though, and it was simply because of what I stated in the photo, how the family around her WASN’T developed when she was. I think that’s the reason why I’m more interested, because I want to know more about the family, like how do THEY view things? What do they think of their powers? How do they feel? Ya know what I’m saying? I still love Maribel so much guys, like she’s not a badly written character at all. I just think that maybe if we got to know her just a LITTLE bit better and learned more normal (non plot wise) traits about her, then I would be more jazzed when I think of her. I still think she’s an AMAZING character, I stand by EVERYTHING I said in the “pros” section, I love her, but I just had to share the cons because I needed to be honest with myself.

So with that, that was my Maribel review! A wonderful and relatable character who pops out, someone we could all have fun with and feel for, and want to see her succeed. A Sense of Style~

So I was thinking about Sailor Moon and how style is important to characters. Unlike most cartoons or animes where the characters have on the same outfits/uniforms the entire time, Sailor Moon is unique with characters’ fashion choices. There was a post* made about it that could elaborate my point better, but I think fashion choices are smaller ways to get insight to a character’s character 😅. This is a nitty gritty detail that some people pay attention to and other’s don’t. Totally Spies is another show that comes to mind where the three main characters never have on the same outfit each episode. But on closer inspection, you know without listening to the girls what type of person they are. Alex is more of a sporty-type, her hair kept shot as well as her pants and I believe she’s prone to tank tops or sleeveless wear. Sam is more studious, hair long but a little kept back and clothes akin to a fashionable teacher. Clover is a Cali girl who usually where’s skirts or dresses and comes across as the partying-type.

For my characters, fashion isn’t the main focus for them, or to clarify, fashion isn’t important to all of them. Their fashion choices are just notable to their personality. Hope that makes sense lol. So with that in mind I wanted to break down three of my character’s style choices. This can be used as a reference for not only myself, but for other’s who would like to write/draw my characters. (I know some don’t keep fashion in mind while art-ing and that’s absolutely fine)👍

Olevia👻: My ghost girl, has the pleasure of not worrying about changing her outfit when she transforms in to her ghost form. Her typical uniform will automatically appear during transformation. So in everyday life, she can pretty much wear what she wants. So, Olevia is known for her boujee fashion taste. Although humble, she wants nothing less than the best. She can’t help it, she was raised that way, dear 💅. Her diamond earrings will rarely come off and her colors never clash. She’ll wear cute, silk dresses for meetings. Gucci tennis shoes during a workout and carries Channel bags to the spa. Keep in mind, she is usually over dressed for an occasion. Her makeup is either light or natural. She’s prepared to run in heels, so don’t worry if something goes down, she’s on it! Not too often does she go for bold colors. Olevia’s always invited to high-class events, so expect a luxury dress or four to hang in her closet, pressed and ready to go. Overall, Olevia tends to go for the soft, elegant look.

Sophia📝: This young lady, unlike her sister, doesn’t focus too much on fashion. However, she understands the importance of appearances. Her style screams clean-cut, school girl, “I’m better than you” look. Sweater-vests and pleated skirts galore, it’s almost simplistic the colors she goes for. Beige, white, light blues, or khakis, you’d think she’s boring. I’d say she gets it from her mother, not too focused on looks, just on getting the job done. Her hair is either tied back or in a bun, but in the comfort of her home it is ever worn down. She hardly wears makeup, she’s super young after all, so a little lip gloss and eye-liner goes a long way.

Lucille💅: She’s a model, case closed. Anything glam and sparkly send it her way, she’s all over it. Even in her personal lab she wears studded boots and a bedazzled lab coat. Who says she can’t be smart and pretty at the same time? Like, is it hard? She’s the belle of the ball, Disney princesses wish they had her closet. Now, she’s into the bold look. Lucille is the spotlight. So anything that captures an audience’s attention or makes you stop and stare, Lucille is wearing it. She’s always on trend, so the latest fashion hangs color-coded in her closet. Poor Vlad was overwhelmed by the amount of clothes packing the empty rooms in his manor. her boy-toy José however, joins in on the insanity as a willing follower. Pretty sure he owns a few rooms of clothes himself. Sorry for laying it on thick, but there’s no better description for Lady Lucille lol.

3-E Bedroom Aesthetic Headcanons Part 1

I’m simply bored rn so why not?

Fuwa

It’s very obvious she’s into mangas/anime’s lmao

Has a lot of merch and posters all around, as well as cute plushies

Likes to keep it dark most of the time so she can watch/play on her TV. If she wants to read or write, she can just turn on her lamp.

Bed is a standard size, but filled with a ton of pillows and blankets so she’s comfy while doing whatever. It’s also perfect for building blanket forts or starting pillow fights with friends

Nakamura

Has a fairly spacious room that she loves

Prefers sunlight so she keeps her curtain open for as long as she can

Has a few posters of singers that she really likes

Her room overall has a pretty indie vibe. It’s super chill though

Literally never makes her bed. Ever.

Has a desk but she likes to do homework on the floor for some reason

Isogai

He has the smallest bedroom in his house, and he completely offered to take it.

It’s very cramped :( He only fits his bed, desk, and dresser inside there.

Doesn’t spend a lot of time in his room though because of his very busy schedule

Cant fit a bookshelf so he keeps his textbooks and such under his desk.

His room is tidy for the most part but it’s probably just because he’s barely there

The lighting is pretty awful. He once saved up some of his money to buy a proper lamp that would be better for studying

Sugaya

I know y’all weren’t expecting him to be a plant mom lmao, but listen: his parents are into artisan crafts, his sister travels, they are an artsy family ok?

So his room has a lot of greenery inside, and he takes care of all his plants UwU

His room is very much a reflection of himself and all his rebellious energy. So he’s painted his walls, put up posters or quotes he resonates with, etc.

His bed is minimalistic because he’s barely in it tbh. Whenever he wants to chill or draw, he has a mini sofa. It’s also seating for whenever he brings friends over.

Her room is very minimalistic but has a sweet vibe to it

Likes open-lighting but has a habit of leaving the curtains closed even after finishing her experiments

Has a view plants that she takes care of very responsibly

Doesn’t like having a boring white room, so she’s put up flower images and art around, just to give it more life.

Her desk area is kind of a mess filled with papers and such haha. Despite that, she still makes room for when she wants to carry out another spontaneous experiment

Her lab equipment is all in a spare room in the house, solely for her use. So there’s not much in her room but you might see a vial of poison randomly somewhere lol

Has one of the smaller rooms in his family’s apartment above the restaurant and it annoys him sometimes

At least he doesn’t have to share with his brother anymore though....

Anyways yeah. It’s pretty minimalistic. He doesn’t use a desk, and instead works on the floor or in the living room. Usually studies with his friends.

His clothes take up most of the room lmao, boy cares about his wardrobe a lot

Bed is always messy but he tries not to leave piles of clothing around, or leaving any dirty dishes.

Full-length mirror so he can check out his outfits every morning and take selfies

Leaves tissues, a few graphic novels, cookbooks by his bed, as well as some other things on his lil makeshift nightstand

Sleeps with a fox plushie. Will deny that its his vehemently, even if it’s right there in front of you.

Hara

Gets the best room bc she’s the eldest and the only girl hehehe

Her room is honestly the definition of cozy

A very soft rug covers most of the floor, and it’s great to just lay on tbh

Always has very warm lighting because she prefers that vibe. Sometimes lights up candles if she’s feeling it

Has a lot of storage space so her room is never really cramped or full. Also keeps it very tidy all the time.

Hides her private stuff away from her little brothers, who snoop around a lot

If no one else is home, sometimes she clears her floor and tries out wrestling moves or fitness stuff on her rug.

Mimura

HE HAS A FILM PROJECTOR!!!

Keeps a very huge extensive collection of all his fav movies in a corner of the room, stored in a box

His room is medium-sized but he has so much shit that he hasn’t organized yet, it’s a bit tight

His desk is near his bookshelf, and he prefers to study during the day. Then at night, he can chill with some movies and snacks

He has a lava lamp and he loves it. It was a gift from Fuwa for his birthday actually

Tries to be tidy but he just doesn’t have the energy to go through all his stuff and organize it

Doesn’t have a rug and he really wants one bc it’s hell every morning, to step onto the freezing wooden floor and yelp loudly at 6am

OKAY im going to preface rant with this- 1) i know none of yall know this game cuz while its popular enough to get a series, its not really popular enough to be part of the general consciousness 2) I've only played the 3rd and 4th installments, so I dont have an extensive knowledge on the series. What I'd want to see in Girls Mode 5 (Aka, style savvy 4, or new style boutique 4) 1) UPDATED TEXTURES. this game has been going on since the DS days, and they just port the old clothes into the new games to pad out the inventory. It's nice because it means you can pretty much move on to the new games with little to no regrets, however the textures on the 3ds XL screen, and emulator (because emulator is the only way to get HD screenshots lol rip) are really really nasty. It's super pixelly but not in a nostalgic way, and it clashes heavily with the newer textures and clothes, making it harder to coordinate outfits. The new game would be coming out on the switch, so the old textures would be even more noticeable when on a TV. You don't need to update the models itself, just the textures on the models. 2) KEEP THE MINI PLOTS. GM 4 has a really cute system with the characters, making it so a handful of them have reoccurring stories and plots! (Not every single one of the characters, because there are tons). I really like this, and it genuinely makes me play day after day. 3) FIX THE DAYS SYSTEM. GM 3 had a day system similar to animal crossing, where the stores and story would only update on a day by day basis. I liked the stores only updating once a day (made it less overwhelming to check for new clothing) but the story progression was longer. GM 3 did have less plot to follow however, so it made more sense. GM 4 has a day system typical of life sim games, where you go to sleep when you run out of tasks to do for the day. I like this system because it doesn't limit the things you can do in one play session, and it can make the story more engaging. It also updates the stores more often, making it easier to 100% and collect all of the clothes, however, it makes the game less engaging over time, and doesn't give an incentive to play day after day. I think a mix between the two could create a more interesting game, but I'm not sure how they would go about doing that. There are pros and cons to each system. 4) BRING BACK RAINBOW Rainbow was a character in GM 3, where by taking screenshots of the game and showing them to her, she would find and unlock hidden colors. I really like this mechanic and think it is interesting, even though it can be a bit tedious at times. Maybe a system where instead of you showing the pictures, she automatically tells you if you unlocked them + shows you the photo that unlocked it? 5) REMOVE OR CHANGE THE DESIGN CLOTHES The main gimmick of GM 4 was designing your own clothes. The game doesn't really push you to do it at all, and the clothes they have you design don't match the clothes already in the game. Most of these "customization" options in games aren't actually that useful and I personally just ignore them in favor of prebuilt pretty clothes. I think either changing it so that certain clothes can be recolored by you/dyed, or changing it so that you can recycle clothes into new ones would be interesting, and a good way to add the mechanic to future games. 6) CHANGE THE BUILDING EDITING SYSTEM. GM 3 and GM 4 both struggle with a clunky furniture moving system. The design is similar to happy house designer, however the menus feel clunky to navigate through and are overall more difficult to use. I think revamping it a bit to make it smoother would be the way to go. GM 3 had a dollhouse theme, and so changing the furniture and collecting new pieces was referred to as collecting miniatures, which I liked. 7) INCLUDE MORE STYLES OF CLOTHING. One of the biggest draws of the GM series, that brought me to it specifically, was the subculture themed clothing! They have punk/emo, classic/sweet lolita, gothic lolita, "retro", preppy, decora kei, and probably more. Adding more styles, such

as Mori, would be a good move for the series, and also a good way to market it to a young teen demographic, especially as dress up games become more popular. 8) REMOVE/CHANGE THE BOHO-CHIC ITEMS. A lot of the boho-chic items in the game are actually just culturally appropriated from native americans, which while true to the style it is trying to emulate, is a bit weird to see, and could cause controversy later in the line. This game is made by a japanese company and translated to english, so I understand why they are still in a game that came out in 2017 but still, it isn't a great look for nintendo. 9) ALLOW YOURSELF TO CHANGE YOUR PERSONA LATER IN THE GAME. In GM 4 and 3, at the start of the game, you get to design a character and choose facial features, skintone and height. You should be able to edit the character later in the game, possibly through settings or something. Fixed character customization is a bit of an outdated thing anyways, with most modern games allowing you to change your avatar as much as you want. 10) CHANGE ONLINE PLAY. Currently, in GM 3 and 4, online play usually consists of sharing the building and your personas outfit. I think there should be less of an emphasis of sharing the building, and more emphasis on sharing outfits, since that is what the game centers around. Obviously the boutique interior is the place you are going to see the most in the game, but focusing on outfits you have created makes more sense for the series and genre. There are more additions/changes to the series that I'd like to see, such as a larger male catalogue/allowing to pick a male avatar, a range of body types, LGBT rep, or disability rep, however, I know those are mostly too much to ask for a light hearted dress up game RPG made for a young female demographic, sadly. I think marketing the game largely to young teens on platforms such as instagram and tiktok, and emphasizing the subculture styles such as punk and y2k would be a great marketing strategy, especially since those demographics are flocking to online dress up browser games that have a similar focus. Promoting the shareability of the ingame outfits by having an easy/quick to use photo booth and an easy way to crop the photos/videos to fit a phone format would also be a great way to have the game spread through word of mouth. Of course, nintendo can kind of suck at marketing their games, especially more obscure titles like this, so I don't expect most or really any of this to happen.
