Popular opinion on Bai Zhan was so popular that Liu Qingge couldn't really avoid knowing it: everyone thought that Yue Qingyuan had stolen Shang Qinghua from Liu Qingge. The obvious solution to this was, apparently, to punch Yue Qingyuan in the face.

"No, but it's an An Ding disciple," said a shidi who Liu Qingge didn't actually know. "Don't they like paperwork more than face-punching? Da-shixiong needs to do more paperwork."

"No, that's only if you want to get An Ding interested. Of course Shang-shixiong is interested. I mean, just look at Da-shixiong."

Everyone obediently looked at Da-shixiong, who very quickly started feeling uncomfortable. "What?" Liu Qingge snapped after enduring a prolonged period of staring. "What does that even mean?"

Welcome to the 9-1-1 Rare Pare and Crack Ship Celebration!

What is this event? 

The 9-1-1 Rare Pair and Crack Ship Celebration is just that! We all love Buddie, Bathena, HenRen, and Madney. Truly. But lately, there’s been an uptick in people saying “don’t ship it if it isn’t canon,” which is a load of bull. So I have created this series of events to combat this line of thinking. We should all be able to (within reason) ship who we want, no matter how unrealistic and foolish it may be. The ultimate goal of this event is to give off “Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons” type of energy (iykyk)

How do I take part?

Well, that’s easy! This event is set up three different ways: a structured “week” of prompts, two different Bingo Cards, and a simple list of prompts. This way, anyone can join, in whatever way the inspiration strikes. Of course, you may not even want to use a given prompt. Just being here may be inspiration enough, and that’s perfectly fine! Below are links to the TUMBLR COMMUNITY and DISCORD SERVER

What mediums do I submit?

Anything that strikes your fancy! A drabble, a full piece of fanfiction, an art piece, an edit, a playlist… whatever gets you to be creative! On Tumblr and Bluesky, there will be the hashtag #911rarepaircelebration, and there will also be a collection on AO3.

Are there any restrictions?

In terms of types of submissions, no! However, as stated in our rules, we do ask that you refrain from promoting pairings that are incestuous, pedophilic, or grooming in nature (ex. Maddie/Buck, or May/Buck). If you have any questions about this rule, please do not hesitate to reach out to the mods!

When does posting start?

For the general prompt list and Bingo cards, as soon as the prompts are released! If you are planning on participating in the structured prompt week, that will be from August 24th - August 30th. 

Is there a timeline?

Nope! As long as I’m here, this celebration will be to. If you find these prompts in five years, be my guest! All I want to do is promote creativity, no matter how far into the future!

Hi, welcome to Anna wants to point shit out about the quiet scene in 806 because why not :)

Bachelor party color combo but inverted, Buck is in black and dark green (because he is still wearing the breakup shirt) and Eddie loses his shirt which happens to be the darkest part of his outfit, and in contrast, on 806 the only thing he keeps is the baby pink shirt.

Green and pink is also the color combo of the hildy prank.

Also, similarities with this particular framing, including the beer (Eddie chasing tequila with beer my beloved), but the lights here are a lot more blue, and obviously, there isn't the space that exists between them on the couch in 806, and considering that the bachelor party both of them were dating other people and are currently single makes it interesting that they won't touch.

The beer they are drinking? New brand. A red brand. Not the regular yellow genuine or the blue one from the coming out scene.

A lot of elements there are interested when you consider pink is a much more Buck color than Eddie and Eddie is in green all the time. The possibility of the pink and green combo having something to do with them having fun is real cuz 3 examples is a pattern lol. The way they don't talk to each other or touch or even look at each other add a lot, it's not about anything specific, it's about the presence. Buck is part of Eddie's joy and Eddie is part of Buck's safety yet again. Great scene. So much done with no lines.

Sentences:

"Grandma?" Stiles says without thinking.

"The Gajos matri—Grandma?!" is what Derek says in response to the sheriff and Stiles' words.

"You've heard of them, then," Stiles says, suddenly nervous.

Derek nods. "Grandma," he repeats, ruling out any sort of lucky very specific amnesia events.

Stiles looks at his dad, but he clearly isn't going to be any sort of help, even though he was the one to bring them up in the first place.

"Um, yeah," Stiles says. "My mom's maiden name was Gajos. Her mom became the matriarch a few years ago. So, yeah, Grandma."

Derek looks stunned, but he also looks wary in a way he's never looked around Stiles. At least, not since Stiles convinced him he wasn't going to sell him out. Stiles hates it.

"The Gajos' have never gone after werewolves who weren't actively harming humans," the sheriff says, "but they stayed out of a lot of the politics of the supernatural world. Since Aleksandra came to power, that's changed. I don't know if it's because she had a soul-eater daughter and grandson or if there is something else at work, but she gave me a heads up last year that we might get some negative attention as a result. Somehow, I don't think this is what she had in mind."

Stiles winces, although he's not entirely sure why. He hasn't done anything wrong. At least, he doesn't think he has. Usually he knows exactly what he's done and has his defense planned out well in advance.
