I HAAAVE BEEN BLESSSSSED mbc just released a compilation of Friendship Stages (Army performances)!
youtube
My ultimate world crossover AAAHHHH! I had only seen clips here and there.
Look how pretty my girlies are looking in this thumbnail ^w^ Miss Ha Hee Ra!!! look at youuu!!!! You gorgeous woman!
Kang Susie had just debuted then - can you believe that 66 liner Susie was a fresh rookie, and 69 liner Hee Ra a teen star with 7 years experience at that time?
Ha Soo Bin was also a rookie, plus this was also around Uhm Jung Hwa's debut time, and before Jin Shil did "Jealousy" and "Nambugun". What a time machine video. I am in LOVE.
Also - Hee Ra and Choi Jin Shil BOTH covered a Lee Jiyeon song each - Hee Ra sang "It's Not Too Late" (one of her more underrated songs but I LOVE love Hee Ra's rendition of it, she did so well!) and Jin Shil went for "That Reason Was Pain To Me", our resident sad girl anthem. (may she RIP). Yeom Jung Ah, fresh off the Miss Korea pageant, sang Lee Jae Young's "Temptation".
Other singers that perfromend that are in this video are Noh Sa Yeon, Shin Hyo Beom, Kim Wan Sun, Na Mi, Lee Sun Hee, Shin Seung Hoon, Chuli and Mi Ae, and many more.

On Moon’s Relationships with the Choi Family
Excerpts from The Choi Family Entanglements, recently updated on May 13, 2023
Tumblr media
▲ Pictured: These are the only known photos of Choi Seon-gil (also written as Sun-kil Choi) and Sun Myung Moon together. They were taken around early 1955 by Eu Hyo-min, probably in Seoul. He explained that Choi had challenged her husband when she caught him having sex with two women.
From a Japanese article: “It is complicated. This is the part that has been erased from the history of the Unification Church.
Sun Myung Moon’s first wife was Choi Seon-gil LINK
She was the niece of Choi Seong-mo (see obituary below)
Choi Seon-gil’s uncle was Choi Seong-mo
He was the brother of Choi Seon-gil’s father.
Choi Seong-mo’s wife was Lee Duk-sam. [He married Lee when he was 29. Lee left Choi to follow Sun Myung Moon.]
Choi Seong-mo’s eldest daughter: Choi Soon-shil [She arrested for group sex in Moon’s church in July 1955.] LINK
Choi Seong-mo’s second daughter: Choi Soon-wha LINK [She is the mother of Sam Park, born in 1966, fathered by Sun Myung Moon.]
Choi Seong-mo’s eldest son: Choi Soon-yeong LINK [He inherited the chaebol/business]
Choi Seong-mo’s second son: Choi Soon-kwang
Choi Seong-mo’s third son: Choi Soon-kil
I can understand the feelings of Mr. Choi Seong-mo, who was the husband of Mrs. Lee Duk-sam. He pushed the police to investigate Teacher Moon, and he wanted to beat the Unification Church. At first I thought Mr. Choi Seong-mo hated Teacher Moon because Moon married Choi Seon-gil, who was Mr. Choi’s niece. But apparently he was indignant about the relationship between his wife and Teacher Moon. That is why he called Teacher Moon ‘the devil’.
It’s become a mess.”
[One of the sons, either Soon-kwang or Soon-kil, was active against Sun Myung Moon, but was heavily persecuted by the organization.]

▲ Pictured: Oh Yeong-choon is standing on the right, next to Hak Ja Han and her mother Hong Soon-ae. Oh was involved in the selection of Hak Jan Han as the wife of Sun Myung Moon. This photograph was taken at around the time of that selection. Oh raised money to get Moon out of jail in 1955, following the Ewha Womans University sex scandal. LINK
Oh Yeong-choon witnessed to Lee Duk-sam in Busan. After Lee Duk-sam joined, she brought her two daughters, Choi Soon-shil and Choi Soon-wha, into the UC. Choi Soon-yeong who was younger resisted recuitment, even though he was under pressure from his mother to join. Moon took the daughters to Seoul to be with him in the fall of 1953. It has been reported that he “restored” the two of them in a small hotel near the Seoul train station. Soon-shil went to Yonsei University and Soon-wha to Ewha Womans University. In 1964 Soon-wha traveled to Washington, DC, to go to university there. She wanted to get away from Moon. In 1965, during his first world tour, Moon spent three months in DC having sex with Soon-wha, aka Annie. He did not leave the US until he knew she was pregnant. Sam Park was born on January 28, 1966.

Review: My Father is Strange
Tumblr media
Year: 2017 Country: Korea Platform: Viki
Ugh, where do I start with this drama. This is abolutely one of my all time favorite dramas. It is 50 episodes that slips by like 16. There are 12 episode dramas that wish they were as well paced and structured.
At the heart of the story is the Byun family with father Hansoo and his wife Na Yeong Shil who are absolutely relationship goals. You can absolutely see how their relationship lays the foundation for the loving, supportive family they’ve created. They depend on, respect, and communicate with one another. Nothing moves forward that doesn’t have them both on board. I loved when the drama would show the two of them retiring to their room, to sit facing one another as they tried to work together to find the solutions to the problems facing their family.
After them are one son, and three daughters. Each of their stories could reasonably have been a drama in its own right. Joon Yeong is the eldest, a hard worker who loves his family and knows he just isn’t the smartest guy but he’s gonna keep just plodding along working his hardest. Hyeyoung, the oldest daughter is the light of my drama world. I could barely focus when she is on screen as she is incredibly charismatic and commanding in her presence and stunningly beautiful. She is whip smart, fearless and capable, yet flawed. Watching her wrestle with the idea of marriage and what it means for a woman who is driven and fulfilled by her career in a society that says a woman is a daughter and then a mother resonated with me deeply.
Mi Young is the second daughter, struggling with overcoming the insecurity and bullying of her past. She, along with Yoojoo, her highschool bully, are given one of the most satisfying arcs in the show. Yoojoo’s redemption is something that is slow, hard earned and progressive. I love how the show addresses it with time and a gradual understanding of what it means to forgive and atone.
Hwayoung is the baby played by Ryu Hwa Young. I was so torn watching her because she knocks the character out of the park. She is young and selfish but kind and honest. Her romance is the stuff of sweet fluffy rom-coms but her facing off against her CEO was a delight.
Finally there was Lee Joon as the (obligatory) birth secret. Joon is amazing in the role. He renders what could be a selfish and arrogant character as vulnerable. Though he does get a loveline - it is his love for the family, his slow growth from lonely outsider to firmly entrenched member of the Byun clan that is the heart and soul of the drama.
What I love most about this drama is that it provides characters that are fundamentally Good People, with natural human flaws. And the conflicts that arise are mostly those born from the realities of life: people making poor choices or making the best choices they can at the time with the hand life has dealt that still doesn't work out. But they're all trying their best to love and care for one another. It also happens to have the best redemption story I have ever seen in any piece of media and some day I'll write a full meta on how fantastic it is a story of growth and forgiveness.
I am not lying when I say this drama is one of my favorites. It is 50 episodes and I watched them all twice three times, now. Even now I’ll put one on and find myself drawn back into these people and their lives. It is a beautiful drama that shows that you don’t need malicious over-the-top schemes, secrets and backstabbing to have compelling drama. You can have a cast of characters that love and TALK to one another and still have plenty of drama with just the arrows that life decides to shoot at you.

Sanctuary Church’s Cuckolds: Did King Sean Hyung Jin Moon Have Ritual Sex With Old Mrs Kang and Blessed Wives of Rod of Iron Ministries?
Ritual sex was the essential founding practice of Sun Myung Moon’s shamanic “Unification Church”. Moon received the “Blessing” through ritual sex with Ms. Pak Wol-yong. and he then passed on the “Blessing” to various women including to all wives of the original 36 couples “Blessing”.
Sun Myung Moon was arrested and sentenced because of these illicit sexual and marriage activities. The Unification Church” sought to cover up these up these facts and suppressed an expose book “The Tragedy of the Six Marys” by Moon’s early disciple, Chung-hwa Pak. Later vague attempts by the UC to gingerly explain Moon’s adulterous affairs were abandoned because members were too shocked.
After Sun Myung Moon’s death, his youngest son Sean Hyung Jin Moon confirmed that the “Six Marys” sexual ritual was true, and even imported an original “Mary” from Korea, the octogenarian Hyun Shil Kang. Without considering the theological and legal implications, Sean Moon declared Mrs Kang, the True Mother of Mankind after marrying her to his dead father, Sun Myung Moon.
It was unclear exactly how Sean Moon could divorce his biological mother Hak Ja Han Moon from his late father, Sun Myung Moon. It was also unclear how Sean Moon could “divorce” Mrs Kang from Saint Augustine to whom his father Sun Myung Moon had posthumously “married” together.
As has often been the case, Sean Moon was in a hurry and did not care about the consequences. Soon, Mrs Kang was dead.
Questions that demand answers from the Moons:
What does it mean for Sean Moon to be reborn through Mrs Kang? Does it mean that Sean Moon received a “new spiritual body”. through pikareum, ritual sex with Mrs Kang?
Why did Sean Moon declare his own wife Yeonah to be True Mother before shifting the title to Mrs Kang? What consequences and implications would this have?
In which ways is Sean Moonclaiming to be his father’s representative (even attempting to show signs of physical possession)?
Sean Moon claimed that his mother Hak Ja Han Moon prevented his father from making all women his “Brides of Christ” and publicly called on Sanctuary Church husbands to not be jealous to give their wives sexually. Has Sean Moon had sex with anyone other than his wife Yeonah?
Why did Sean Moon claim that Jamal Johnson had offered Sean Moon sex with his wife, Mrs Johnson? Was sex in Sean Moon’s mind when he asked Jamal Johnsonif he would deliver his Mrs Johnson to the King’s bedroom door?
https://tragedyofthesixmarys.com/sun-myung-moon-restoration-through-incest/
“According to Sun Myung Moon, the most important relationship is that between parent and child. Satan claimed that relationship at the fall in the Garden of Eden. Therefore, to restore that relationship, incest on the side of God must be performed. That is why Jesus should have restored his mother, Mary, by having sex with her.
Sun Myung Moon explained about this heavenly incest is his speech of August 9, 1997 “Chil Pal Jeol” given to 7000 FFWPU leaders from all over the world at the Central Training Center in Guri near Seoul. (The Korean and Japanese texts are the most accurate; the English translations are heavily redacted.)”

Hwarang [Ep 15] IDK HOW I SKIPPED POSTING THIS LOL
I like that Moo Myung is honestly more King-like than Maek Jong. I think he would make a better King unless Maek Jong has some character improvement. However, I doubt that's the way things turn out. I'm sure Make Jong will still end up on the throne, but hopefully, he will be a different person by then.
Ah Ro has so much trust in Moo Myung that he won't let them die. I think he's really gonna get hurt though. I think he'll barely win somehow. Lol, it's funny that the princess doesn't think he is her brother, but I think she doesn't want him to be because she likes him. This is just the Ah Ro situation all over again just another woman haha.
So this Prince/King whatever he is likes to just do things on luck and chances. It doesn't show the dice but I think Moo Myung's was higher, I think not based on pure luck but that he has used that dice thing so much that he knows how to slightly maneuver his hand to land on what he wants it to. Or it could be luck, idk.
Aish, Young Shil isn't going to do anything and so the other ministers won't either. They won't start a war. They got the Queen's hands tied. Whether they live or die is going to be entirely up to Moo Myung and if he can win or not. Oooh, I good idea would be for Wi Hwa to send the rest of the Hwarang, and then the ministers would care because their sons are there too.
Ugh, guard dude cut Moo Myung's arm...that's cheating bruh...what precaution are you talking about ugh. You're giving him a disadvantage. I'm so mad. He's gonna die.
Okay, he didn't die, I guess because he's really not afraid of death. The Prince even asked him that and he said why would he. Oh, it did show us the dice he did get a higher score. Fascinating. Hmm, I don't think this guy is gonna actually keep his word. Oh, but he won't let the people go.
So Moo Myung is gonna break everyone out of jail and make a run for it and that's gonna cause the war I guess.
I love that Maek Jong is worried about Seon Woo; at least slightly. Plus he's helping him bail everyone out so....
Oh, Soo Ho took the arrow for Seon Woo.
Ugh, this Prince guy is so annoying, why can't he just let the dang people go. Why does he feel the need to kill everybody? Yes, the other Hwarang came just in time. haha, drama timing of course.
Oh no, Maek Jong saw Ah Ro and Seon Woo kiss. He's gonna find out they aren't actually related....well not till the next episode anyway.
My Thoughts: Personally, I think Seon Woo/Moo Myung would make a better King anyway. I know he probably won't even want the throne, that's not really his type of thing. He just wants to right wrongs and have people live peacefully. However, it's because of that attitude that he would make a better King, for now anyway.
I think once Maek Jong changes and grows up a little and stops being that son that hides and just tries to piss off his mom he will be capable of being a great King. He's seen the outside, and now he's seeing how great of a person Seon Woo is. I think he's jealous because right now he thinks Seon Woo would make a better King than him too.
I hope Ban Ryu ends up not working for Yeong Shil. I know he's gonna be put up to a huge test of loyalty here soon. Maybe not the next episode but definitely before the final one. He's gonna have to choose between his friends and lover, or power and being King.
5 episodes left to go and things are gonna get more and more serious.

Lesson #3: Phrases to be used when traveling in Korea
Tumblr media
(A/N Photo credits to the owner)
Hi! So today I’m going to show you some of the basic phrases that you might actually need when you’re traveling in Korea. Take a look
1. Right - O-reun, Left – wen, Straight – jik-jin - These words may be useful when you’re asking for the directions or when you’re telling the taxi driver the directions of your destination.
2. Here! - Yeogi-yo - This may come in handy when you’re in a taxi and you’re asking the driver to stop
3. Where is the bathroom? – Hwa-jang-shil o-di-ye-yo?
4. Where is the exit? – Chul-ip-gu o-di-ye-yo?
5. Give me a discount –Kka-kka-ju-se-yo - You can use this when you’re in stores or in the market
6. How much is this? – I-ge el-ma—ye-yo?
7. Do you speak English? – Yeong-eo ha-se-yo? - When you’ve ran out of the Korean words you can say this to them and ask them anything and they’ll try to help you.
8. Where is the subway station? – Ji-ha-cheol-yeok eo-di-iss-eo-yo?
9. Where is the bus station? – Beo-seu jeong-ryu-jang eo-di-iss-eo-yo?
10. Please talk slower. - Cheon-cheon-hi mal-sseum-hae ju-se-yo - As a beginner there there will be instances that you won’t understand what they say and you may need them to speak slowly.
11. Where is the~ – ~Eo-di-iss-eo-yo? - To use this you need to add the noun at the start of the sentence and add this at the end. Example: Where is the restroom? – Hwa-jang-shil eo-di-iss-eo-yo
12. Please help me. – Do-wa-ju-se-yo
13. Where am I? – Yeo-gi eo-di-e-yo? - When you’re lost or not sure where you are you can ask this.
14. Please take me to the airport. – Gong-hwang-eu-ro ka-ju-se-yo
15. Can you draw me a map? – Ji-do geu-ryeo ju-shil su iss-eo-yo? - If you’re having trouble with memorizing directions you can just ask them to draw the map in that way it’ll be easier for you to reach your destination.
So that’s it! I hope that these phrases may help you in some way when you’re in Korea. Bye!

Yesterday I remembered that Go Hyun Jung had put a Lana Del Rey song in her Instagram pictures so here's a list of artists that 8090s actors would listen to if they were young(er) and in touch with modern music :
Choi Min Soo - A$AP Rocky, Ghost
(He is definitely a rap fan. I'm sure 90s Choi Minsoo would have loved Rocky's fashion and lyrics. His homies swear they bish the baddest but he just bagged the worst one (true). He praise the lord and breake the law. You get it. But he would still like Metal or Rock so he'd listen to Ghost and oldschool Rock too)
Go Hyun Jung - Lana Del Rey, Ethel Cain
(She's a moody indie girlie for sure. Mainstream enough for recognition but she'd be thr person to listen to all the songs and post insta stories in a sepia filter. She would quote Lana lyrics all the time and has a secret coquette girlblogging tumblr account. Oh and she is an expert on lyrics and interpretation. She's your national anthem )
Chae Shi Ra - Taylor Swift, boygenius
(She is definitely the Talent squads biggest Swiftie. She collects versions and has the set list of the Era's tour memorized. She also listens to boygenius and the members as well as some country-adjacent white girl pop or pop-rock music)
Kim Hee Ae - Lorde, Adele
(She definitely listens to socially conscious and more niche, non-radio pop and likes ballads. She also likes Kendrick Lamar due to his lyrics and other alternative singers like Tove Lo and Mitski)
Ha Hee Ra - Twenty one pilots, Glass Animals, The Neighbourhood
(She likes her indie pop bands with the chill and aesthetic songs and the dreamy, carefree, melancholic vibes. She's always down for a little bit of dance and hip hop though, but mostly enjoys more indie, dreamcore albums)
Uhm Jung Hwa - Chappell Roan, Beyoncé
(She's the model r/popheads user and stans the gays and the girls, like, in a stereotypical way. I'm sure she has all Beyoncé albums memorized plus loves brazen and confident dance pop of all kinds)
Cha In Pyo - Bruno Mars, Kid Laroi
(He has a more basic pop taste but likes oldschool music packaged in a new way, and loves music that has a lot of saxophone elements. He does listen to rap but only if its white people friendly)
Choi Jin Shil - Olivia Rodrigo, Alanis Morissette
(She likes her pop rock and definitely shares the love for rock with her little brother, SKY a.k.a. Choi Jin Young (R.I.P. 💜). Jagged Little Pill is her holy grail and she plays GUTS up and down)
Kim Hye Soo - Charli XCX, Kylie Minogue
(brat. Enough said. No seriously I know she would love hyperpop)
Choi Soo Jong - Ed Sheeran
(Man likes guitar ballads like Photograph and Perfect and thats what he regularly listens to, along with music like Drake or Imagine Dragons)

Moon seeking to move to the U.S. in 1965?
Tumblr media
▲ Pictured: Moon on his 1965 tour in D.C.
What was happening in 1965?
Both Young Oon Kim and Sang Ik Choi traveled the world with Sun Myung Moon on his first world tour.  The world tour wrapped up in October 1965, with Moon returning to Korea on October 10.
March 31-May 3,1965, Moon stayed at Bo Hi Pak’s home in northern Virginia, a suburb of Washington D.C., and frequently met with Annie Choi, mother of Sammy Pak. Annie Choi was not related to Sang Ik Choi. Her family has a long, painful history with Moon. Moon would not leave until he was sure that Annie Choi was pregnant. Moon went on this tour without his young wife Hak Ja Han, though she joined him on his 1969 tour.
After spending time in Korea in 1964,  and following Moon on his world tour, Young Oon Kim moved to D.C. following the tour. At this point she had already laid ground for the Bay Area church, following her stint in Oregon. The Pacific Northwest was largely under David (Sang Chul) Kim's leadership.
Sang Ik Choi (also known as Papasan) had been on Moon’s World Tour, along with Young Oon Kim. Choi arrived in the U.S., settling in San Francisco, on November 12, 1965. On December 11, Yun Soo Lim and Kenji (Daikon) Ohnuki arrived in San Francisco, reuniting with Choi. Prior to this, both Lim and Ohnuki spent several months in D.C.
Many said that this 1965 trip destroyed Papasan Choi’s faith. He had allegedly seen many things during this tour that disturbed the holy image of Moon. It is likely that neither Young Oon Kim or Papasan Choi had really believed in Moon as the messiah at this point, if they ever did. They seemed to have ulterior motives when it came to their membership, considering their presence in the UC for decades while privately claiming they no longer believed in Moon in the orthodox sense, as well as their countless government connections.
In 1965, Bo Hi Pak founded the KCFF, with Eisenhower as the honorary president. Both Radio of Free Asia and the Little Angels dance troupe were under the KCFF.
Moon was preparing the way for his move to the U.S. in 1965:
"There are many Christians who anxiously desire to see the day of the coming of the Lord. If the Lord comes by the clouds of heaven, I know there will be no problem for this present world to accept him. But it is also possible that even after the Lord has come through the clouds of heaven, and even after people meet him and realize that he is not their concept of the Messiah, some may not accept him at once. As I mentioned already, it is of vital importance that we must live with him.-- live with the Messiah, with the Lord, with the One. It is not only important to see him and meet him but it is important to stay with him. This is of ultimate importance. Therefore, America today has to develop a new way of life in which there is room for him.”
Moon spoke these words at the UC Headquarters in D.C. on March 12, 1965, one month after arriving in the U.S. for his tour.
It was on this tour that Moon was able to meet Eisenhower. Eisenhower allegedly told Moon during this meeting, "Man is a spiritual being. We must bring to bear a greater moral strength based on moral law to stand against the communists. It will take the vigor of youth to do this."
It seems he was hoping to eventually move to the U.S. It may have seen evident that providence was turning this way, as Bo Hi Pak had created a substantial political foundation and it was evident that his message was catching on, with communities that were effectively building a financial/economic foundation. Could he have also been hoping to continue providential sex with Annie Choi, or maybe even making her his primary wife while in the U.S.?
Sam Park’s mother, Annie Soon-wha Choi with Moon in 1954-56, 1964-65, 1969 and 1973.
Pak interviewed about Moon’s “SEX relays”
The story of Annie Choi and Sam Park in Mother Jones
Sam’s mother’s sister “intended as Father’s Bride” Soon-shil Choi is Annie (Soon-hwa) Choi's sister. Hak Ja Han was matched to Moon following the break-up of Moon and Soon-shil Choi.
Daikan took the photos of Moon with ex-President Eisenhower when they met there.
Kenji ‘Daikan’ Ohnuki is listed as an 1800 couple (couple 49)
“My father is truly a sad and tragic human being” – Sam Park, 2014 video transcript
Washington Monument – in 1965 Adulterous Moon got Annie Choi pregnant with Sam
Moon used a ‘Honey Trap’, a beautiful woman, to ensnare Sam Park’s very rich grandfather. Sam’s uncle explains what happened to the Choi family.
‘Annie Choi’ driven to have sex with Moon in D.C. in 1965
Moon’s fourth wife, Won-pok Choi:
The Korean language magazine, Sunday Journal, and Kirsti Nevalainen’s book, Ritual Sex in the Unification Church, both list Mrs Choi as Moon’s fourth wife. At least one Korean authority on new religions stated that Hak Ja Han, who came after Won-pok Choi, was Moon’s fifth wife. Won-pok Choi left her husband and children to join the UC in December 1954.

Chung-hwa Pak, who wrote the “The Tragedy of the Six Marys – the real Satan is Sun Myung Moon!!” book, was never in any of Moon’s mass marriages. It is important to know there were three other people who contributed to this book. (see chapter 7.) They never retracted their testimonies and ALL of them went on national TV in Japan together with Pak and confirmed Moon’s sex rituals. See illustrated video transcript HERE.

Sam Park’s mother, Annie Choi, explained how she had sex with Sun Myung Moon in a circle of six women. Moon mounted each of the women in turn. From 1953 to 1959 this Choi family were central to the providence, according to Moon. Then in 1959 Soon-shil Choi left and Moon hurriedly married Hak Ja Han.
see Mother Jones interview, link below.
The meaning of the diagram with six women. “Gods’ Day” was established in 1968 by Moon having sex with six women in a circle. There was a trinity led by Won-pok Choi and a trinity led by Hak Ja Han = six women. Moon claimed to be restoring Jacob’s course. Won-pok Choi represented Jacob’s wife, Leah, and Hak Ja Han represented Jacob’s second wife, Rachel.

Chung-hwa Pak did not write “I Am A Traitor – At that time Satan possessed me!”  (The Unification Church of Japan ghost-wrote and published it.) A full explanation can be found HERE

▲ Chung-hwa Pak, who was in his eighties and sick, is third from the left. Following a stroke, he could not use one arm. Pak is surrounded by UC leaders, including Mr Ishi, in a hotel in Japan. Pak had just signed the book cover artwork for “I Am A Traitor – At that time Satan possessed me!” The UC chose the worst photo of Pak they could find. Obviously no author would make such a book cover. The purpose of the Traitor book was to discredit Pak’s Six Marys book and to keep the Japanese members on the ‘money for Moon’ treadmill.

I know this is a list of all kdramas I’ve liked, but I think it’s worth mentioning an awesome jdrama => Boku, Unmei no Hito desu
What are your favorites?

Korean 101
Basic Greetings
안녕하세요 (ahn-nyung-ha-se-yo) — Hello
This can be said at any point in the day, and you can reply to this in exactly the same manner.
반갑습니다 (bahn-gap-seup-ni-da) — Nice to meet you
If you meet someone, especially someone of importance, you can illustrate your respect with this short phrase.
어떻게 지내세요? (uh-dduh-keh  ji-neh-seh-yo?) — How are you?
Just a standard way to inquire about someone’s day. It can be used with those you’ve seen recently or those you haven’t seen in a while.
잘 지내요 (jal-ji-neh-yo) — I am good
A positive response to the above question of “How are you?” and can simply mean that all’s well in your world.
제 이름은 _____ (jeh  ee-reum-un  _____) — My name is _____
A simple way to introduce yourself to anyone.
안녕 (ahn-nyung) / 안녕히 계세요 (ahn-nyung-hee  geh-seh-yo) / 안녕히 가세요 (ahn-nyung-hee gah-seh-yo) — Goodbye
Common Courtesy
감사합니다 (gam-sa-ham-ni-da) — Thank you
This is a formal, all-around safe way to offer your gratitude. Alternatively, you may say 고맙습니다 (go-mahp-seup-ni-da).
천만에요 (chun-mahn-eh-yo) — You’re welcome (formal)
It’s not often that Koreans actually respond to a “Thank you” with a “You’re welcome,” but if you wish to be extra polite, then you can throw in this phrase. Normally, you can respond to thanks with a simple, humble 아닙니다 (ah-nib-nee-da), which means “It’s nothing.”
실례합니다 (shil-leh-hap-nee-da ; polite) / 잠시만요 (jam-shi-mahn-yo ; “wait a moment”) — Excuse me
실례합니다 is a very polite phrase used to get someone’s attention, such as for when you approach a stranger for help. 잠시만요 more or less means “Wait a moment” but can be used for situations such as when you need to push past or be a minor physical hindrance to people.
여기요 (yuh-gi-yo) — Over here
Use this phrase with a raised hand or some kind of physical gesture to get someone to come over to you. This can also be used to flag down a waiter in a restaurant.
죄송합니다 (jweh-sung-hap-nee-da) / 미안합니다 (mi-ahn-hap-nee-da) — I’m sorry
Used for any situation where you need to excuse your behavior. Both ways of saying sorry are formal and have an almost equal amount of weight (are interchangeable).
주세요 (ju-seh-yo) — Please give
Navigating Around and Finding Your Way
왼쪽 (oen-jjok) / 오른쪽 (oh-reun-jjok) / 직진 (jik-jjin) — left / right / straight
These are self-explanatory, and if you’re asking for directions, you’ll most definitely be hearing these words. Make sure you memorize them so you can at least pick up general directions.
길을 잃었어요 (gil-eul  ilh-uht-suh-yo) — I’m lost
The phrase literally means “I lost my way” and will tell any native that you’ll need some navigation help. Follow up with something that will indicate where you’d like to go.
_____ 어디인지 아세요? (_____ uh-di-eehn-ji  ah-seh-yo?) — Do you know where _____ is?
This will be critical anytime you need to locate anything. This phrase isn’t travel-specific, and can be used for most situations where you need to find a location (for example, you can use this phrase at a department store to find a specific shop).
잘 모르겠네요 (jal mo-reu-geht-neh-yo) — I don’t understand
It’s highly likely that you won’t understand every word of Korean you hear, and it’s best to let whoever’s talking to you know that! Many will be kind enough to try and simplify their message for your comprehension.
한국말 잘 못해요 (hahn-guhk-mal  jal  moht-heh-yo) — I don’t speak Korean well
A nice notification that will save you from being bombarded by Korean. Honesty is a good policy when it comes to using a foreign language.
영어 할 수 있어요? (yung-uh  hal  su-eet-suh-yo?) — Do you speak English?
Most Korean natives know some English to be able to help you out in a tough spot, so don’t be afraid to ask!
천천히 말씀해 주세요 (chun-chun-hee  mal-sseum-heh ju-seh-yo) — Please speak slowly
Korean is a rather quickly-spoken language, especially when the speaker is quite emotional (Korean dramas, anyone?). Therefore, use this phrase to politely request a slow-down.
_____ (으)로 가주세요 (ih-roh  gah-ju-seh-yo) — Please take me to _____
If you need a guiding hand, then this will be the phrase to use. You can quickly find people willing to direct you to where you need to go. This phrase can also be used to inform a taxi driver of your destination. (When the place name ends with a consonant, use “으로,” otherwise use “로.”)
화장실이 어디예요? (hwa-jang-shil-ee  uh-di-eh-yo?) — Where is the bathroom?
Dining
_____ 주세요 (_____  ju-seh-yo) — Please give me _____
To order your meal, simply state it and tack on 주세요 afterwards. Short and simple!
메뉴 주세요 (meh-nyu  ju-seh-yo) — Menu, please
More often than not, Korean restaurants won’t have the menu out on the tables. To get one, simply raise your hand and state this phrase.
계산서 주세요 (keh-san-suh  ju-seh-yo) — Bill, please
Waiters in Korean restaurants often will not personally ask if you’ve finished your meal, so once your stomach is satisfied and you’re ready to head out, ask for the bill!
싸 주세요 (ssa  ju-seh-yo) — Please wrap / It’s to-go
If you want wrapped leftovers, you definitely have to let your servers know as they probably will assume otherwise. Note that you’ll likely only get your meal, not any side dishes, packed up.
저 알러지 있어요 (juh  ahl-luh-ji  eet-suh-yo) — I have an allergy
Shopping
_____ 있어요? (eess-uh-yo?) — Do you have _____?
Use this phrase on a store employee if there’s something specific on your mind.
얼마에요? (uhl-mah-eh-yo?) — How much is it?
It’s highly recommended to know how numbers work in Korean, as there are two distinct systems that are used in different contexts. However, if you’re not overly familiar with them, it’s probable that the cashier will be able to tell you the price in English.
카드 받으세요? (kah-deu  bat-euh-seh-yo?) — Do you take credit cards?
South Korea has a high credit card usage rate, so you shouldn’t have a problem if you’re strapped for cash and only have your card on hand.
환불해 주세요 (hwan-bul-heh  ju-seh-yo) — Please give me a refund
Be prepared with a good reason for your request! Even if you’re a foreigner, you’ll still need to explain yourself (and explain well!) to the store employee.
교환해 주세요 (gyo-hwan-heh  ju-seh-yo) — Please give me an exchange
If your shopping purchase is damaged or needs to be switched to fit your needs, then use this phrase to notify the employee. You shouldn’t have a hard time with this request, especially if you have a valid reason.
Emergency Situations
도와주세요! (doh-oah-ju-seh-yo!) — Help!
A straightforward call for assistance. This literally means “Give me help,” to which a proper response might be 도와줄게요 (doh-oah-jeul-ke-yo), which means “I will give you help.”
긴급 상황이에요 (gin-geup-sahng-hwang-ee-eh-yo) — It’s an emergency
Whatever the nature of your problem, this phrase will get you rapid assistance. Consider who exactly you need to help you, whether it’s the police or the paramedics, for example.
경찰 / 경찰을 부르세요 (kyung-chal / kyung-chal-eul  bu-reu-seh-yo) — Police / Call the police
It’s helpful to know that in South Korea, the phone number to contact the police is 112. But in case you don’t have a phone or are in quick need of legal service, saying the above phrase to a native will most likely get the help you need.
병원 (byung-uon) — Hospital
If you say this phrase alone to a native, that could be enough of an alert for them to aid you. If you need quick medical attention and know you need care at a hospital, then use this phrase.
여기가 아파요 (yuh-gi-gah  ah-pah-yo) — It hurts here
This is useful for any injury you receive that needs to be treated. Along with this phrase, point to where exactly you feel pain.
의사가 필요해요 (uie-sah-gah  pil-yo-he-yo) — I need a doctor
Along with the word for hospital, this is good to know if there’s ever a possibility that you need professional care. It’s possible someone will call an ambulance for you, should the situation be dire, but you should also know that the Korean phone number for the fire brigade and ambulance services is 119.
Miscellaneous
화이팅! or 파이팅! (hwa-ee-ting! or pa-ee-ting!) — Fighting!
Slang used for encouragement, you can passionately exclaim this to boost one’s morale. It’s usually accompanied with a firm shake of the fist.
괜찮아요 (gwaen-chanh-ah-yo) — It’s okay
The equivalent to the English “It’s fine.” You can say this in a multitude of situations, such as expressing the state of your physical health or accepting a certain circumstance.
진짜요? (jin-jja-yo?) — Really?
Just in case you need some extra affirmation about something. This phrase is also commonly used as an exclamatory statement.
안 돼요 (ahn-dwae-yo) — It doesn’t work/It cannot (be)/No way
This phrase differs slightly in meaning depending on the context. You can use it for a variety of situations, from talking about a dysfunctional washing machine to adamantly denying a particular circumstance.
재미있어요 (jeh-mi-eess-uh-yo) — It’s fun

Worse Than Weinstein: The Sordid Sexual Secrets Of The Sun Myung Moon Cult That No Supposed Heir Can Explain
It would silly for people to go to war because of theological differences especially in a new religion whose declared aim is to unite all religions. But members of Sun Myung Moon’s family are not not really fighting over beliefs but power and money.
It is also silly for the leaders and the members of the different Unification Church sects to claim to be true representatives of Sun Myung Moon’s religion because Moon followed at least two contradictory religions, one public and one private.
The public religion claimed to support marriage and fidelity while the private religion destroyed them. Moon preached that the misuse of sex, Satan stealing Eve’s virginity before she could consummate with her husband Adam brought Original Sin into the world. In private, Moon actively deflowered virgins, had sex with married women, was repeatedly unfaithful to his public and hidden wives, tricked and coerced unwilling women into sex (rape), and abandoned women who he had made pregnant.
These unsavory sexual predations which are at the heart of Sun Myung Moon’s lifestyle and religion present insurmountable PR problems for anyone who claims to be in the lineage of Sun Myung Moon by blood, adoption or inheritance. Anyone who claims that any form of Moonism is good must first provide a satisfactory explanation of Moon’s abuse of sex. So farno one has. ManyMoonies deny that it ever happened.
Sun Myung Moon never publicly taught that he had a mission to remove Original Sin by ejaculating into women’s womb. In the early days in Korea, those “cleansed” woman were instructedto recruit and “clean” men by having sex with them. The Unification Church publicly denied this practice. Consequently, the majority of the members believed that it had never happened but was a lie. They believed that Sun Myung Moon was a faithful husband, despite clear testimonialevidence collated by Moon’s original disciple Chung Hwa Pak in the book “The Tragedy of the Six Marys” and in Moon’s daughter-in-law Nansook Hong’s book “In the Shadow of the Moons”. Moon tried to suppress both books. Sun Myung Moon did not want his own members to know his actual religion and life because the reality was that it led not to restoration but to misery.
Unsurprisingly, Moon’s last wife Hak Ja Han Moon who was hurt by her husband’s constant infidelities, absence and cantankerous behavior seeks to distance herself from the seedy side of her husband. Trained to believe that she is the True Mother of Mankind (and later God) she cannot give up a lifetime of indoctrination and privilege especially now that she is in charge. Mrs Moon has reinvented herself to be the pure Only Begotten Daughter of God who never had Original Sin. The problem which Hak Ja Han Moon faces is credibly explaining why she married an ungodly liar, cheat and swindler.
Moon’s eldest surviving son (several of Moon’s children have died in suspicious circumstances) Preston Hyun Jin Moon has kept a low profile after absconding with his father’s billions and unceremoniously being caught on camera kicking his father’s leadership in the head. Preston, we are told, is continuing to do humanitarian work in countries that most of us will never visit by hosting festivals which have never brought peace but have provided good cover for fascists to covertly network.
Tatiana In Jin Moon preached purity, marriage and fidelity until she was expelled from the leadership of the American Unification Church after she could no longer hide that she was actually breaking apart families by having adulterous affairs to married Unificationist men after she gave birth out of wedlock. In Jin Moon’s cocaine addicted husband James Park (Jin Sung) the son of Moon’s main assistant, Colonel Bo Hi Pak, then shacked up with the young daughter of Unification Church couple who he had groomed while abusing leadership power.
Justin Kook Jin Moon claims that he only ever wanted to focus on his gun business and not have an official position within the Unification Church. However Justin Moon has acted aggressively to covertly takeover the Unification Church’s billions by attacking Preston Moon, Hak Ja Han Moon and her staff including Peter Kim and Hyo Nam Kim. Justin promulgated a drip feed technique of character assassination which has a certain pattern. First, he started a campaign using In Jin Moon to declare that leader Chung HwanKwak was Satan before declaring that Preston Moon was Satan. Justin Moon later tried to claim that he had not told the media during a recorded interview that his brother is Satan. Later, using the same technique he manipulated Sean Hyung Jin Moon to declare that Hak Ja Han was being held captive by her staff who were demons before declaring that Hak Ja Han is the biggest demon.
Justin Moon created Sanctuary Church to support his two main projects: the Kahr Arms weapons business and the attempt to steal the considerable assets that his mother Hak Ja Han Moon has inherited. Justin Moon uses his brother Sean Moon to try to takeover the Unification Church in the same way that he used his sister In Jin Moon.
Sean Hyung Jin Moon has admitted that his father engaged in sexual rituals with Six Marys but has provided very little new information. Instead Sean Moon has taken the concept of the Six Marys further than it was intendedby declaring that all women must become Brides of Christ through sexual rituals with Sun Myung Moon (or perhaps Sean Moon who claims inheritance powers). Sean Moon publicly extorted the husbands of Sanctuary Church to not be “jealous” and laid hands, with his wife Yeon Ah Lee, on their heads to heal them of “shame”.
The Brides of Christ of Sanctuary Church were paraded in front of the congregation. President Richard Panzer promised a Brides of Christ video but the project has been buried.
Sean Moon recentlypreyed on the vulnerable 91 year oldHyun Shil Kang, who had been rejected in her youth by Sun Myung Moon after he had sex with her because she was not married (Moon refused to provide her with a husband). Sean Moon declared Kang was to be the new True Mother and wife of the long dead Sun Myung Moon.
The problem for Sean and Justin Moon is that Sun Myung Moon himself chose to keep the Six Marys secret. In reality there were at least sixty women, not six, that Sun Myung Moon sexually used and abandoned. Sanctuary Church will have to explain:
Why do they intend to perpetrate Sun Myung Moon’s secret ungodly sexual abuses on all women?
Why have they have deviated from their father’s private teaching?
How can Sean Moon now deny that statements that his father Sun Myung Moon insisted that he make in favor of his mother being the leader and eternal True Mother and not to follow the Moon children?
Justin Kook Jin Moon Created Sanctuary Church To Serve Kahr Arms
Hyung Jin said, “True Mother must return to her sons, the True Cain and Abel.” What does the DP say?
Kook Jin: Arrest & Kill Mother. Adam was supposed to KILL Eve
Sean Hyung Jin Moon Was Brainwashed And Pimped By Kook Jin Moon (Justin)

Hwarang [Ep 13]
[Umm lost what I wrote up to the 17 min mark of this episode so we'll just start from there..sorry.]
Yeong Shil has a point, either make peace or start a war. I mean something has to be done. The Queen is fighting back though she's like "Okay cool I'll make peace but I'mma send the Hwarang" lol just to piss off all the council members.
I do feel sorry for Maek Jong, he feels so helpless and useless to his country right now even though he has the title of King.
Oooh Wi Hwa is not backing down from Queen Jisoo lol she's telling him she's the ruler and he's saying the King should make the decisions. He also told her he's gonna pick the Hwarang that go. Oof.
Why can't the lead men in dramas just say what they are thinking? He's upset because he hurt her and instead of saying that he's just avoiding her and then making her cry...ugh.
Ooooh Queen Jisoo sent a letter telling Maek Jong to stay. I don't think he will though. Why does Sook Myeong want to take Ah Ro...to try and kill her again, is that it? Of course, once Seon Woo and Maek Jong find out they will both volunteer to go.
I knew Seon Woo would volunteer, but aww Soo Ho is volunteering because the Queen asked him to take care of Seon Woo. He really does like the Queen a lot doesn't he, even if she is a bitch..I guess there is someone that will always love a beautiful woman despite her personality. Wi Hwa tried real hard to keep Maek Jong from going but sir you can't stop a king haha.
I'm not gonna like, kinda happy about how upset Queen Jisoo is after learning Maek Jong volunteered regardless.
Awww such a sweet moment between Soo Yeon and Ban Ryu. I know they are gonna have issues because he's gotta please Yeong Shil. But I hope they work out in the end...they're too cute. They're both shy and adorable.
And here we go with the misunderstandings between Seon Woo and Ah Ro....like she just had to walk up at the same time he was trying to help the princess not fall over and pass out from a panic attack.
I'm glad they had a moment where they cleared up things. But, excuse me why are villagers attacking?
