Ugghh been consuming some bnha stuff and I'm reminded of why I largely prefer fanfiction over the actual story. I have so much hate and pettiness within me. Even so, I am never going to change my mind on how much I hate how bnha is just an amalgamation of wasted potention. Search the definition of wasted potential up and there's just an image of bnha.
I remember watching it as the first season was coming about because it was made by Bones and I just have to watch it in that case. I watched episode one and was so excited.
We have our mc, Midoriya Izuku, being powerless in a world full of quirks.
His childhood friend turned bully, Bakugou Katsuki, is shown to be favoured by literally everyone and this feeds into his ego.
All Might, the number one hero, is jaded and powerless for 21 hours of the day because of a fight nobody knew existed. Izuku is attacked and helpless, but saved by All Might. All Might tells him he can't become a hero. A much needed reality check because Izuku didn't work out a single bit before then and it's so incredibly hard to fight someone who has something you lack.
Then Bakugou is attacked and helpless. Bakugou, who is so much stronger and who people love, is left useless, only able to make the situation worse with his explosions creating a fire hazard. The pro-heroes can't do anything. All Might and Izuku both hate themselves for the part they played and how useless they are. Then Izuku sees how scared Bakugou is. He runs in, inspiring All Might as he mocks himself for breaking Izuku's dream yet forgetting the core of heroism.
Then, after all is said and done, All Might goes back to Izuku. And he tells him he can become a hero.
...
Then he offers him One for All. Now, when I was watching this for the first time, I was so disappointed. You set up a powerless mc in a world full of powers and you just give him the power of the strongest hero? Great. But, I kept watching.
I watched Izuku work to get his power, struggle even after getting a quirk. I watched as Izuku finally stood up for himself and win against Bakugou. I watched as the series went on and I... I started noticing more and more missed opportunities.
See, bnha is supposed to be a zero to hero story. It's supposed to be about the mc going from powerless to powerful. But it does it so quickly. Suddenly, it's not about Izuku finding his own form of strength, or realising how being quirkless may not give any advantages but it also has no disadvantages, or even any commentary on quirk discrimination or fantastic racism or anything.
It turns into a story about controlling your power. It's not what I signed up for.
That's just one missed potential. There's so many more. Horikoshi clearly tries to make some commentary on quirk discrimination and female heroes/sexism in the workplace and entertainment over peace. There's some effort put into making a comment on how heroes are glorified and people don't see them as public workers, they see them as celebreties.
But it's never delved into. We don't see how bad people with mutant or 'villainous' quirks are treated, and we don't see how people with weak quirks are treated, or how the quirkless are treated (because the only reason Izuku was treated so horribly was because of Bakugou). We don't see how female heroes need to have a bit of allure in their personas to have any sort of support.
Yuuei is literally a camp for making child soldiers, yet there's no controversy over it? There's no such things as heroes having to take lethal action and no moral dilemmas over it? There's nobody speaking out about how Midnight flirts with students?
We have literally no information about how heroes work. We don't know how their salaries are decided, how they're ranked, how undergound heroes work. if twilight heroes are a thing, how anybody but Rock Lock feels about bringing children into adult matters, (seriously, why do people hate Rock Lock for being rightfully worried about having 15 year olds in a raid against the yakuza), we don't know how villains work and how to decide if one's a criminal or a villain.
Heck, the only laws we know of are fanon, and the canon stupid idea that you can't use your quirk in self-defense.
It's just. Incredibly infuriating.
Also, analysis as a whole is so under-utilised. Both Izuku and Shigaraki are deemed creepy for their analysis, which is such a useful tool. I mean, Izuku accurately guesses Stain's quirk, which is useful because, otherwise, they wouldn't be wary about Stain licking their blood or cutting them. Shigaraki accurately guesses the time intervals between Aizawa's blinks, which helps him a shit ton.
But is it ever used outside of these situations? No. The thing is, quirks are scientific in nature, not magic. Therefore, they're not restricted like magic is. Fire doesn't always have to be fire, it can be smoke or just heat. Ice can be water or steam. Acid can melt through anything or just be used as a mario kart banana peel.
There was so much missed potential and that's exactly why there's so much fan content.
Horikoshi leaves so much out, and everything he misses tends to be the interesting parts. He willfully explains Bakugou's quirk in detail, but everyone else? Nah. Fuck them.
I mean, let's look at Ochako's quirk.
Gravity negation. Or is it? See, if it were just gravity negation, then two things, in particular, would happen. First of all, Izuku would have fucking died when she saved him from falling. Second of all, she would not have been able to get infinity in the ball throw.
Negating gravity does not negate the forces. Therefore, when she saved Izuku from falling, he would have still been affected by the force of his fall. It would have been no different from hitting the concrete. Additionally, when she threw the ball, it kept going. Air drag would have made it so that she couldn't possibly get an infinity.
More accurately, rather than force negation as some fanfics suggests, she's telekinetically accelerating whatever she touches. She telekinetically accelerates Izuku's body to stop him falling, and does the reverse for the ball, making it so that it continues to accelerate after she throws it.
See what I mean? Because Horikoshi gave Bakugou's quirk a scientific explanation with him sweating a nitroglycerin-like substance and being able to spark it, you have to look at every quirk with scientific knowledge. He could have said 'oh, yeah, I store energy from my quirk in these gauntlets' but Hori just had to be a smartass.
By the way, because of Bakugou's explanation, it's possible that his quirk is not what is named. Yes, it's possible to have two sides of a quirk, as we see in Shouto, but Bakugou's quirk isn't explained in the same way.
Rather than his quirk being creating explosions, his quirk is more like creating sparks in his palms. Why? Well, you see. Bnha never delves into actual quirk theory, but there's more than enough canon evidence that you have one main quirk and then one or more quirk mutations. For example, Ashido Mina's quirk is secreting acid that she can manipulate the acidity and viscocity of. Her appearance is not related to her quirk at all, meaning it's a quirk mutation from her parents. Same with Tokoyami Fumikage. Quirk is Dark Shadow, so there's no need for the bird head.
Why does this relate to Bakugou? Let me explain: Bakugou explains that he recieved a mutation from his parents with his mother secreting glycerin and his father sweating acid with combustive properties. In other words, Bakugou inherited nitroglycerin-like sweat from his parents, but his actual quirk is being able to create sparks.
His quirk is 'Sparks'. Not Explosions.
Why am I ranting about this? Because bnha completely misses all of this! It makes no sense which is a shame because the concept is so interesting! But then it throws away any scraps of potential left when it becomes 'My Kacchan Academia'.
Seriously, why do people and why does Horikoshi love abusive pieces of shit so much? Why did he throw away the potential to look into Shouto and his siblings' feeling about Endeavour? Why did he make Dabi's plot all about Endeavour instead of Shouto?
It's so easy to compare the ways Dabi and Shouto handle their trauma and their ways of revenge. It's so easy to look at Dabi and think about how easy it would have been for Shouto to become like him.
Shouto was transfixed on Endeavour. Everything he did related back to his hate for Endeavour. Using his quirk, fighting, grades, social interaction, everything. His only reason for becoming a hero is to spite Endeavour. It's only because Izuku reaches out to him and saves him from his own toxic mindset that he's able to move one and do things for himself.
Dabi, or Touya, on the other hand, doesn't get that. He doesn't get that person who recognises how far he's gone, how, in trying to spite Enveavour, he's living a life centred on him. How he's jealous of his little brother for being abused and tormented.
While Shouto became a hero to spite Endeavour, Dabi became a villain.
They're both full of hatred at first, but Shouto is saved from that spiral. Izuku helps him. Dabi doesn't have that. It would have been so interesting to see these two face of as parellels, but nope. It's all about Endeavour. Shouto is nothing more than an accessory.
I understand Dabi being hung up on Endeavour, but to outright replace Shouto with the abusive flaming trashbag? No.
Also, if Horikoshi wanted Dabi to be seen as sympathetic or redeemable, don't make him kill innocent people. Don't make it so that he unlocks an ice aspect to his quirk in a life-or-death situation because all that means is that Endeavour was right to hurt Touya the way he did. All that says is Endeavour should have hurt him more.
AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON BAKUGOU.
This piece of shit bullied Izuku relentlessly for years, used his quirk on him (yes that is canon), told him to end his life, tried to assault him in Yuuei, tried to kill him, threw a tantrum at an abused kid for not being magically okay with using a quirk that reminded him of his abusive father, assaults Izuku when he tries to work together but still magically gets a pass for being carried out unconcious which Sero was failed for, and the list just keeps growing.
Oh, but my bad. He has a sad backstory. You see, he fell in a river.

Why I Hate Canon Dadzawa
I'm pretty sure I've said this before multiple times, but Aizawa is my second least favorite character in MHA behind Bakugou and ahead of Shinsou. Most of this is because of his canon actions/how he's written, but a lot of this is due to people INSISTING that Fanon Dadzawa is Canon Dadzawa.
To put out a disclaimer, I don't mind Fanon Dadzawa. There's been some really well written Fanon Dadzawa fics that I like, and I'm of the belief that you can and should write whatever fics you want. I also think that Canon Dadzawa/Aizawa as a whole could have been such an interesting character had he been written better. Instead (like with almost every other character in MHA) we get someone whose actions don't match how he's supposed to come off as.
This topic is a sore spot for me, because the people who got me into MHA tried selling me on Dadzawa, Dadzawa, Dadzawa. I felt so tricked when I first got into it and saw that none of what they were saying was true.
Just like how Bakugou is a Temu version of Vegeta (so insulting to Vegeta) and Sasuke (who is another character I don't really like, but will put well above Bakugou), Aizawa is a SheIn version of Kakashi; a conventionally attractive, badass, no-nonsense teacher who genuinely cares about and is protective of his students. I have my problems with Kakashi, but it's at least been actually shown that he cares for his students, and whenever he does a "Rational Deception", he not only immediately explains himself, but he only ever did them in his introduction. For that matter, he's actually a good friend to Guy.
Aizawa, on the other hand, is a hot mess of a walking, talking contradiction in writing and Character Shilling. We're constantly told that he's this amazing teacher and amazing person, but the evidence doesn't match up with these claims.
He never owns up to his failings, choosing to a) ignore them entirely, b) excuse them away, or c) throw other undeserving people under the bus to make himself look good. We see this in how he halfheartedly acknowledges Ida angrilly calling him out on his repeated lying to 1A, when he excuses away his utter failure in curbing Bakugou's awful behavior with his "deep seated conviction" in bring a hero, and when he tries throwing All Might under the bus when Hound Dog calls them out in exaserbating Izuku's trust issues after the Gentle Criminal fight.
For that matter, he has yet to apologize to Izuku after his realization during the Liberation Front War of how much of jackass he was to him. Seriously, Izuku has saved his ass I don't know how many times, and he continued being such an ungrateful bastard towards him. I'm not saying he should have gotten on his knees and proclaimed his life to him, but you would think that would have at least changed his attitude towards him.
And speaking of Izuku, while he's always on his ass about his Quirk control... he completely ignores the issues that Aoyama and Kaminari have with THEIR Quirks. Kaminari being taken hostage at the USJ due to his lack of Quirk Control goes completely unacknowledged, and Aoyama's lack of Quirk Control is treated solely for comedic value. You'd think Dadzawa: Best UA Teacher would try to help the two of them as well, but nope.
I could go on all day about his expulsion record, but the point is, he's ruining these students' lives due to him projecting his own traumas onto them. I have to reiterate this, but these expulsions DO IN FACT stay on their permanent records. In Japan, having an expulsion on your permanent record CAN AND WILL prevent you from getting a well paying job. Expulsion is treated as an absolute last resort for a reason, and to see him throw that threat around like it's nothing is horrible of him. Nedzu is a horribly negligent principal for letting Aizawa do this, and the fact that nobody has sued UA for this is a miracle.
Then we get to his favoritism of Bakugou and Shinsou, probably the biggest indicator of his hypocrisy.
It makes absolutely NO SENSE that Aizawa's presented as this strict hardass of a teacher, and then he's shown giving preferental treatment to an abusive egoist (that was canonically how Bakugou was described in his character profile) and a whiny, Quirkist Troll doll that's not even in the Heroics Course. This is especially egrigious considering how often he bitches and moans about All Might mentoring Izuku! He sticks his neck out for Bakugou when he absolutely doesn't deserve it and when you know for a fact he wouldn't do this for his other students.
For that matter, he's such an awful friend to Mic and Midnight. His relationship with both of them is all take and no give. Mic canonically surpressed his own grief and trauma surrounding Oboro and Midnight's deaths for Aizawa's sake, and while it was wrong of Midnight to throw Aizawa's name into the teacher's ring behind his back, he repays her trying to get him a job by doing all the above I just listed. His relationship with them is unhealthy as hell, especially since they NEVER take him to task for his awful behavior.
On top of all of THAT, he genuinely thinks he's this amazing teacher and person, given how angry he gets at Mic for calling him a terrible teacher during the Sports Festival. He calls Vlad King a better teacher than him... but doesn't do ANYTHING to change his ways. You can't have it both ways, Aizawa.
In conclusion, Aizawa would have been such an interesting character had he been allowed to examine and change his attitude and teachings. Instead, we get someone who unfairly has a reputation of being a paragon of goodness and rationality.

Dabihawks greek mythology au with Zeus!Keigo and Hera!Touya. Instead of Keigo being a cheating, horny douchebag, he's actually so hard-working to the point that his husband Touya always blows up every missed anniversary and date.
Persephone!Tenko being the person Touya rants to about his overworking husband and the whole olympus just rolls their eyes at their shenanigans. Touya has always been crafty, often making ways to seduce his husband from his work to the dismay of their other subjects. Seeing the head goddess doing a strip tease on the monthly meetings of all the Olympians isn't surprising anymore.
(well maybe someone should've warned the queen's little brother who just came back from the dragon lands. no sibling deserves that level of trauma, no matter how bratty)
Keigo being the kind and understanding ruler unless his husband is involved, then all hell breaks loose and their head god is now a possessive motherfucker who wouldn't think twice about gouging out the eyes of anyone who looks at Touya wrong. The other Gods cringe every time they hear another destructive fight between the two because at the least, another island would be wiped off from the planet. And at worst, their queen would run away again and the head god would be a sulking mess where everything in the world would be stuck on limbo until their fuming queen comes back because he misses his husband.

Aizawa was starting to become a little worried about you. He had been so busy with Shinsou and his problem children to focus much attention and direction to the rest of the class. Every time he would try to work on it, yet another calamity would occur and force his attention back on the main parties.
He was working on this little flaw of his, continuously checking in with and directing the others during training period. He never got to help you, though. It seemed that whenever he would look for you, you would drop from the face of the earth.
You were avoiding him.
You would sit on your lonesome in class and at lunch, with your head kept down. He's never once seen you exchange small talk. In all honesty, he's less worried about your physical capabilities, and more worried about your mental state. He has a bad feeling.
In reality, you just hated this class. Every day, someone would open their big, ugly mouth and out came nonsense that further convinced you of how undeserving they were of being at the top. You were only here because you were recommended. Your quirk isn't nearly as powerful or flashy, either. Why does everyone else get all the attention when all they do is fuck up and ruin everything?!
All of this comes to light during the next sparring period. You were towing on the edge of keeping up with one of the class' best, until you were unexpectedly knocked down. That was your last straw. How fucking dare he?
You were suffering a humiliating defeat as you sit on your knees on the floor, staring into the distance without focus, until your sight was infiltrated by the image of Midoriya. You hate that stupid brat. The hatred in your veins is only fuelled when he offers a hand to you and a pathetic smile.
Within a second, his hand is slapped away and the room goes silent.
"Get the fuck away from me. Fuck you."
The bite of your words is only dulled by the waver of your voice, and the tears in your eyes. Izuku is stunned, as is the rest of the class. Even Katsuki thinks you're overreacting. Kirishima steps in with a frown. "Hey, man... That wasn't cool-"
He's interrupted when you turn around and walk away, brimming with anger and frustration. How is he so much better than you?! You train every day and constantly home your skills, so how did he beat you faster than you could blink?
Maybe you were being a little horrible, but you've never learned how to offset your anger in healthier ways, so for now, you're happy taking it out on others.
Are you really that weak? Maybe, after everything, you're the one who doesn't deserve to be here...
How come they could always be nice to eachother, but they could never talk to you? Why were you ignored or given strange looks when you tried to open up? How come noone wanted to be your friend?
Aizawa, of course, figured you might react in such a way. Loneliness can easily turn into bitterness if you take your eye off it for too long. He needs to help you fix this.
He wants to keep everyone in this class for as long as he possibly can, and allowing you to exclude yourself any more than you have would be dangerous for everyone, including you.
It's with that, that he starts putting people in pairs for everything. He would force you to socialise if it was the last thing he did.
Every day you would argue with your pair, but it was worth it, because when you were offered kindness or compassion, no matter how reluctant you were to accept it, he could see that little spark in your eye. It was the kind of spark that made him aware of your guard dropping. You were actually starting to care about your classmates.
Obviously Toshinori immediately knew what he was doing when he saw Aizawa put you in a group of three since the class was uneven on a specific day, and he would offer up a smirk and subtle glance as if to say "wow, you finally got through to them".
He supposed that it's not your fault you don't know how to cope with your... Emotional baggage, much like Shouto or Katsuki, but he likes to make you very much aware that it's your responsibility to learn how.
When the day comes that you finally think to apologise to Izuku, the boy you've grown an annoying fondness for, he actually starts to cry. He's so proud of you for not staying emotionally constipated like Katsuki, that he actually floods the room and Aizawa has to open the window for him to violently sob out of so that the entire class doesn't drown.
Slowly, you start to grow a kinship with a few people in your class, and you grow especially close with your bubblegum haired friend Mina, and Jirou, who liked to do her part by teasing you out of your shell. Maybe, you could even learn what it's like to love and be loved back.

Coconut Pudding.

Hitoshi Shinsou x Reader slight E2L >:))))))
A/N: Not proofread. I apologise for any incoherent sentences/ incorrect grammar. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did :)
☁︎ Reader and Shinsou meeting through Aizawa. Aizawa offering reader extra training. ☁︎
Tumblr media
Shinsou always rubbed you the wrong way- the both of you snarkily taunting the other every breathing moment you were in each other's presence. It was almost like one of you would bite off the other's head the next instant. Aizawa and Yamada were low-key scared you guys would kill each other one day.
Hitoshi Shinsou. That name was enough to have anger surging through your veins. Everything about him ticked you off- his sarcastic remarks, his cold expression, his stupidity. Each sparring session was tense, Shinsou desperate to prove himself to Eraserhead and get into 1A and you fighting to prove yourself, to prove you deserved your spot in 1A. You and Shinsou got to know each other better whether you liked it or not- you were spending most of your free time with him.
The closer you got, the more time you spent in his presence, the more obvious it was- his bitter and cold demeanour was just an exterior. He was a small fluffy hamster at heart. The distance between you and him that felt like oceans between shores closed before you realised it. Closed by lingering touches and lingering gazes during training. Closed by the softness that seeped into the other's gaze when thinking of the next time you'd meet. In conclusion, He made your heart pound and your cheeks heat up.
Just why?
You asked yourself. Shinsou would be a bitter gourd if someone like you was pudding. You poked your tongue out at the thought, slinging your bag over your shoulder as you walked out the diner all alone. There was a chill in the breeze that made people walk faster than usual, wanting to get back to the warmth of their own homes. Couples were walking hand in hand and kids clung to their parents as the buzz of chatter emptied into silence as they walked past.
You thought about how nice it would be if Shinsou was nicer to you for once. How nice it would be if you could spend time alone with him, How nice it would be if he harboured the same feelings as you did for him, How nice it would be if he liked you- How nice it would be if his love was like Coconut Pudding- sweet. Not overly so. Just right. The kind that makes you melt. The kind that feels refreshing. Oh, how you wished he were with you at this very moment.
☀︎
You tucked your hair behind your ear [sorry to bald readers/ readers without ears] while standing up to leave. The school bell rang five minutes ago, the last of your classmates already gone- eager to get home after the hell of what they called a curriculum UA put them through. Sighing, you started packing your bag. You were late for training. Even thinking about how exhausting training would be was enough to bring tears to your eyes. Looking down at the last few books you needed to stuff into your bag, you thought of Shinsou.
You thought about how you could feel the waves of heat coming off him when he stood closer to you as he helped you with algebra. You thought about how his uniform smelled when it was freshly washed. You thought of how the bruised, red knuckles on his hands looked as he grabbed your hands to lead the way when you were being too slow. You thought of the soft monsoon breeze that slightly ruffled his hair, How his purple eyes looked when he was surprised- like when Sensei kicked him in the stomach which led him to be winded and on his knees hunched over for the next ten minutes.
Sharp snaps brought you back from your melancholic state. Annoyed, you looked at the source of the disturbance. "Earth to Y/N." Shinsou said, now snapping his fingers in your face. Swatting his hand away, you rolled your eyes.
"Piss off." You groaned. "You look like Uraraka's quirk sent you floating all the way to Jupiter. Whatcha thinkin' about?" Shinsou said, now leaning on the desk behind him. His arms flexed as he rested his weight on the wood behind him. "None of your business. If you're dying to know, information costs money. I do miss those macarons from the bakery down that street..." Putting a finger on your chin, you pondered exaggeratedly. Shinsou hummed, "You're late to training." "Right." Inhaling sharply, you looked down at your bag, which was still unpacked. "I'm joking, I'm joking. Sensei cancelled training today. Said something about sorting out legal stuff 'bout Eri."
Before you could get another word out, what Shinsou said next had you staring at him like he had not two, not three but twelve heads. "Now what is it with you and your love for exploring space while staring at someone? If you don't fancy the idea, you can just say so." Shinsou stated, his gaze lowering to the floor but his voice as monotonous as ever. You shook your head, wiping that silly lil expression off your face. "Pff, like I'd say no to free macarons." It was Shinsou's turn to ogle at you- "I didn't say I was paying, I asked you if you could give me company at the cafe if you didn't have any plans."
Shaking your head, you put your hands up. "It's a shame, then. I guess I have no choice but to go home," You pouted. Wordlessly picking up your bag and stuffing the remaining books inside, Shinsou pulled the bag from your hands and slung your bag over his shoulder while walking. You smiled at him happily at his compliance and pulled him out the classroom by his elbow.
Ah, if only you hadn't missed the blush on his face as you walked through the door of the classroom.

Bad Man Aizawa: Sloppy Seconds
AO3 Mirror
tag: non-con, Dirty Talk, Daddy Kink, Shinsou is Aizawa's biological son, Incest, Voyeurism, forced cheating, UA is A Hero College
Summary: Shouta Aizawa is not a good man. He wishes he were but well... That's a useless thought, when he takes his son's sloppy seconds in his lecture hall
Aizawa groaned as he lifted your skirt to expose puffy brown lips, oozing with his son’s cum.
“Look at you. Late to class because you couldn’t stop fucking my son, Y/n? And where are your panties, you lil’ whore?”
You whined at the tight grip on your thigh, big rough hands forcing them open. “Hitoshi took them. He said I had to keep his cum in me, but if I didn’t then I deserved for everyone to know what a dick hungry bitch I am.” There were tears in your eyes as from the humiliation of being exposed to your boyfriend’s father like this.
Aizawa spread your lips apart and felt his dick twitch as his son’s nut oozed out of you. Without preamble he undid a secret zipper on his Hero Suit and pulled his stiffening dick free.
It leaked with precum, as he stroked himself to full hardness, dripping onto your pussy to mix with his son’s. The fat tip poked from the foreskin and Aizawa spat  on it to lubricate his stroking.
He pressed the head into your pussy, relishing in the hot gooey sensations of Hitoshi’s nut slicking the way.
“Fuck,” Aizawa groaned out as he buried his thick long girth into your sweet young cunt. He looked at your face and smirked at the tears he saw streaking down your face, at the strain of his dick in your inexperienced pussy. He grasped you by the backs of your knees and began fucking you.
He was so hard from the feeling of Hitoshi’s cum slicking your sloppy passage. He thought of how he must have looked, locked in some supply closet, your hot lil’ pussy stretching around his dick. How it must have looked as he rutted into you in pure adrenaline filled ecstasy, at fucking in UA.
“Hitoshi’s nut made you so slick, Y/n,” Aizawa teased meanly, loving thow the dirty wrongness of your circumstances made you ripple around his dick.
You cried harder and Aizawa sucked his teeth. “What Y/n? Don’t like to share your boyfriend’s nut wit his Daddy?” He set his hands on your hips, rutting into your rigorously. “Because this pussy sure feels like you’re fine with it.”
At the Hero’s words your grow wetter, squeezing him as he fucks you roughly.
“Uh huh Y/n, that’s what I thought. You like when I force you into some dark corner to get at my son’s sloppy seconds. I’ll make sure the next time you’re set to come over to study to let you bounce in my dick in his bed.”
You sobbed harder, knowing the man will follow through. Can imagine him blackmailing you to arrive early. Dragging you to Hitoshi’s room and laying you face down ass up. Flipping your uniform skirt up to get at your pussy and fuck you with the scent of his son in your face.
Getting fucked by your boyfriend’s father, in his bed, with the older man violating the trust his son has in him, by violation his girlfriend. His dick driving into you with vindictiveness  as he whispered to you that Hitoshi would be home soon, so you’d better cum on his Father’s dick before then.
The very thought was enough to send you over the edge and you found your mouth covered by the Hero’s big rough hand, to quiet your wailing.
Your pussy spasmed and clutched at his as your vision whited out in ecstasy. All the While Aizawa was drilling into you, with a single mindedness that was near suffocating.
He moaned as he continued to thrust into your sloppy heat. He watched, captivated, as you  creamed on his dick. The sight of your cum mixing with his son’s pushed him over the edge and he pressed his dick in deep, as he filled you with jet after jet of hot cum.
He watched as cum oozed out around him, taking pleasure in the fact that he cum was now mixed with Hitoshi’s.
When he starts to soften, he pulls out. When the deluge of nut starts to spill, he pushes it back into you with his fingers. “Don’t waste all our hard work, Y/n. What would our ‘Toshi think if he knew you were so wasteful,” he asked as he removed his hand from your mouth.
You whimpered doing your best to keep their cum inside you, as you sat up. Without warning Aizawa shoved his dirty fingers in your mouth.
“Clean up your mess,” he ordered as he put himself away.
You do as he said, licking and sucking the cum from his fingers.
“You’re going to come to our apartment tonight, before he gets home. I meant what I said about taking this pussy in his bed. Understood Y/n,” he said as he pulled away from your mouth.
You feel yourself ready to cry again. “Sensei please—”
Lightning quick, Aizawa grabbed you by the jaw, in a grip you knew would need to be covered with makeup.
“What did I say?” It’s bit out as an angry growl. Faintly his eyes flash red and you feel a tear roll down your cheek, as you shut your mouth and nod silently.
Aizawa lets you go. “Good. Now get out.”
You sniffled, scampering away, trying to hold back silent tears. You left so fast you didn’t see the person who’s just listened to your entire interaction with your Sensei.
a/n: I wrote this months ago. It didn't get a lot of engagement on ao3 so it prolly won't get a part 2. Hope yall enjoy it though.

Tumblr media
synopsis: you find a gigantic stuffed bear at your desk for valentine’s day! how does your bnha best friend react when it’s not from them?
a/n: bnha version <3 hope you’re all doing good
warnings: a bit of swearing, fluff, crack, semi-angst
genshin version
Tumblr media
izuku really tries for you :((((( he tears up, inside his heart breaks a lil bit seeing you so happy with the stuffie, but he doesn’t want you to see him being upset. he pretends to be excited for you, but the smile doesn’t really reach his eyes. he knows it’s unreasonable to be mad at a pile of fluff and fabric… but… he js wants to be your favourite again 🥺
“y/n! …oh, you’re busy cuddling with the bear? …i guess i’ll just go over there then…”
bakugo absolutely loses it. you have no idea why he’s so pissy today, did you do something wrong? when class ends, he doesn’t wait for you to get your stuff like usual, and he doesn’t sit with you at lunch… it stings a lot bit more than you think, you feel so alone. ending up in tears, you call him sobbing, telling him you’re sorry for what you did wrong :( he comes barging into your room five seconds later and crouches over you, wiping a stray tear dripping down your face.
“listen dumbass, i’m… sorry. no, you didn’t do anything wrong. here, i got you your favourite chocolate so you’d stop your whining.”
todoroki’s confused. who gave you this giant bear? why didn’t they give it to you themselves? and most importantly, why does he feel his heart twist? he decides he doesn’t like this feeling. he tells himself it’s illogical to be jealous of an inanimate object, but after class, he takes you to the nearest plushie store and tells you to pick out whatever you want. or better yet, why not just buy the entire store?
“hmm? what do you mean i’m insane? of course i can afford it, would i offer it if i couldn’t?” yes
kirishima is genuinely happy for you. of course you’d get a stuffie, he thinks you’re amazing and that you totally deserve it! he even hypes you up, telling you that you’re super manly n his favourite person. when you open up your locker after lunch, you’ll find a chibi crimson riot plushie and a polaroid camera photo of you and him during the sports festival 💗
“that bear is super cute! just like you <3”
kaminari hates it. he hates your attention not being on him, he hates that you hug the bear but not him. so what does he do? he tries to gaslight you into throwing it out 💀💀 throwing shade at the bear, getting offended when you defend it, and being all pouty when you huff at him. he squats in a corner, pursing his lips together, mumbling under his breath about how he’ll zap the bear in the balls later 🤩.
“stupid bear… who do you think you are, taking all of y/n’s attention?”
shinsou looks like he couldn’t care less, and for a while, he doesn’t. but when you start to no longer take naps with him because now you have a cuddle buddy, that’s when he has a problem. he physically snatches the bear off his delicately placed spot and tosses it carelessly on the ground. he wiggles onto your bed next to you, taking the place of the bear who was there seconds ago. he swipes the drool off the corner of your mouth before joining you in slumber.
“why the bear is on the ground? it must have fell off.”
tamaki is insecure of it. do you like it better than him? why do you call it your new best friend? have you replaced him? you clearly notice when he starts to get distant, but you can’t figure out why. is it because you’ve been spending more time with nejire? that must be it! when you apologize to him for accidentally ignoring him for your friend, he sighs in relief. at least you still want to be his friend and maybe more
“i-it’s really no big deal. i get it if you like nejire better than me. wait… nejire?”
dabi doesn’t give a shit. i mean, he’s confident that you won’t leave him because you both have unresolved feelings for each other, but that doesn’t stop him from burning poor teddy into a crisp :( don’t worry though, he’ll just ‘buy’ you another one! he doesn’t mind another late night run with you, especially if it makes you happy.
“hah? those ashes are from… my cigarettes. maybe shiggy or toga has your plushie.”
hawks juts his lips into a pretty pout. he’d make a really good stuffie too, y’know… if only you’d notice his feelings for you. but on another note, he leaves hints that he just released a new line of hawks chibi plushie, and he just happens to have a couple extra… pouts further when you suggest that he should hand them out to fans next time he’s at an event.
“what? that’s- not what i meant…”

PLEASE REMEMBER ME WHEN OUR YOUTH IS GONE jake sim x reader
SYNOPSIS-> when sim jake, the highest scoring student and an easily identifiable perfectionist starts falling for a messy and careless girl, he cant find any words in the world to express his love for the only star in his eyes.
PAIRING-> sim jake x fem!reader
GENRE-> angst, fluff, unrequited love, highschool au, oneshot
WORDCOUNT-> 5k
AUTHORS NOTE!-> this is one of my old ateez oneshots that never got the appreciation (I THINK‼️‼️) it deserved:///
PERM TAGLIST-> @bubblytaetae @qghosty @viagumi @artstaeh @bigtoewinwin @strwberrydinosaur @enhacolor @rendezrei @shinsou-rii @notrosemary
Jake wanted to be considered a perfectionist, since he strived towards outstanding scores, a foolproof attendance and he longed to outdo himself in anything he sparked interest in. The watch his friends gave him never left his wrist, and you could catch him sneaking glances at it every minute or so. Jake was never late. Guards who watched over the school's property often spotted him at the crack of dawn, studying for exams or finishing yesterday's homework.
Beneath the orange haze of the early morning sky, Jake’s eyes flush wide open. His body is sticky and he can feel the hot sweat creep down his neck, as he forces his body to get up. Then it hits him, as his still blurry vision spots the light blue alarm clock amongst his school uniform. His body trembles, as the usually blue numbers don’t light up his face anymore. His chest heaves uneasily, as the palm of his hand rummages through the white bed sheets. Jake’s fingertips hit the cold black surface of his phone, and roughly  pull it up to the side of his damp thigh. He reluctantly opens his phone and the white numbers on his screen read 6:48. Panic subsidies the liberating feeling he woke up with.
“So  fucking stupid” he mutters, but the admission alone was enough to calm his heart.
It was early, yet the scary thought of a 90/100 points on his English exam found a place in his gut, and nagged him every time his eyes read over the four digits.
A cold shower refreshes his puddled mind, and washes away the thick layer of sweat. Jake tries to relax into the cool water, the panic fading away into a fabricated confidence.
“I’ll ace this” he exhales slowly, and the unnerving thoughts vanish with each scrub.
….
Your eyes flutter open, as you try to avoid the boisterous voice of your older brother. His footsteps echo through the small apartment, and you can’t figure if it's them getting closer or your head still in a state of pain. You abruptly rise as the wooden door creaks open, the fit figure of your brother emerging from behind it.
“Have you seen my spare arrows? I really need them” he says, throat tight.
His hair was messy, and you could make out spots of dry shampoo he probably applied earlier. He looked tired and sore from practicing late at night in the depths of his room. His figure is hunched over the door frame, the creases on his school uniform evident.
Words leap at the tip of your tongue, and you clench your jaw to keep yourself from screaming right into his pretty face.
“What time is it?” you ask, dodging his previous question. The feathery sweep of  chilling air alleviates the tension in your muscles.
He shakes his head and rubs the tiredness off his face “It’s 6:48” he replied, the bright light illuminating his face.
You cursed and slipped out of the warm covers. The cold air from your room's air conditioner settled on your bare legs.
“They’re in the living room shelf” you finally tell him, and he exhales sharply, giving you a cheeky smile “You better give me a ride to school now, Jungwon”
He laughs at your seemingly normal request and straightens his posture. He averts his gaze from the shiny floorboards, and looks straight into your sleepy eyes.
“If you listened for once in your life, you’d know I have a competition today” he says giddly, and you have a strange wave of anger swarming through your body. You envied him perhaps, for being able to have a cheeky smile on the first thing in the morning.
“You can still drive me to school?’ you reply and he just chuckles, stepping out of your dusty door frame to gather his lost arrows “Hey! I was talking to you” you breathe out.
“It’s a ten minute walk. I’m not going in that direction anyways” he says loud enough for you to hear. He precisely opens the drawers and gently places his hand upon the arrows shaft, making little to no noise. His worst fear was the angry footsteps of his parents who were woken up by their child's antics.
“You’re so annoying Jungwon” you sigh into the sunshine, that leaves it’s intense sparkle on the length of your tense shoulders.
…
Jake finds the school's uniform to be extra itchy today, as its fabric clings onto the recurring sweat on his body. His eyes furiously scan the emptiness of his poor decorated room, stopping at every metal object.
He exhales yet another breath of disappointment, as the keys he’s been seeking for turn out to be his friends' sunglasses covered in the perfect way by stacks of crumpled paper.
“Fuck” he curses under his breath.
Jake can’t help but feel as if the world is against him on this day. Through the small window next to his bed, he can see the usually busy streets start to  fill up with cars and people. His body aches as the stinging sun burns into his skin.
He hurriedly grabs the notebooks and textbooks off the messy shelf above his desk. The shelf was the only thing he let be messy in his life. He learned to live with its messy nature, and millions of unorganized worksheets. Jake isn’t even sure if these are the right books but the competitiveness in his veins leaves no time for a second checkup.
Did he even do the homework? He’s not sure.
…
He slams the apartment door shut and so do you.
He runs down the stairs with a thud but you choose to take the elevator.
He drops the bag that hangs loosely on his broad shoulder, but you don’t so instead you keep humming the melody of a SKZ song.
The hurry seems to stop as the both of you meet at the entrance.
His great memory can resurface your smiley face anytime. He also can recall you being the last person to arrive in class, so considering the walk wasn’t too long he was shocked to see you up this early.
You smile at him, and he doesn’t know if he should wave, smile back or maybe strike up a conversation. He doesn’t like the idea of an awkward walk to school adding onto the bad things that have already happened this morning.
“Sim Jake! You’re a morning person aren’t you?” you say, and he can feel the tension in his muscles turn into a heatwave only he can feel the effects of, as he scrambles up a response.
“I’m always up early” he replies and it sounds meaner than he intended it to be. Not like he wanted to be rude in the first place.
“You seem a little grumpy for an ‘I’m always up early’ guy“ you quote and he feels  heat decorate his chiseled cheeks. The bitter taste of timeless greed ushered him into the depths of his own curiosity. What exactly was it that you wanted from him? Were you making fun of him? Or maybe you had a nice start to the hot summer day, unlike him?
“I wanted to study for the english exam, but my alarm clock broke” he answers.
You can see exhaustion lifelessly beam from him.
“Ah, the exam! I’m sure you’ll do well” a smile pops up on your face, and Jake spots the dimples he never seemed to notice.
Jake’s heart courses a steady blood through the canyons of his chest and uneasy stomach, as he wonders if replying with a simple thanks would be better than disagreeing. He didn’t want to seem eccentric.
“Thanks. I’m sure you’ll do well too” he replies, and it feels as if the tension in his lungs fills up with oxygen once again.
You make the incital move to leave the building, by stepping out of the moving doors. He is scared to do so, as the sun already looks ready to make him sweat his ass off.
Jake exhales. His sneakers stalk towards your direction, and you smile as he finally pops out of his petrified state.
“I didn’t exactly study for it, you know?” you reply to his non-compliment.
He shakes his head, and chuckles. The sound of your voice seems to alleviate any tension in his muscles.
“Why not? I mean this is a pretty big part of our grade” he murmurs. You roll your eyes playfully, and chuckle at the boy.
At this moment Jake wanted to fade away from the perfect class title. Maybe then you wouldn’t perceive him differently.
“I was doing my nails! Do you like them? `` You beamed, and showed the baby blue gel nails into Jake’s face “You can take my hand in yours, that’s okay” you reassured him.
He felt relief wash over his body, as he grabbed  your smaller hand in his wrought one. He looks at them closely, trying to figure out what exactly changed. He sensed that asking wouldn’t be an appropriate response to your hard work, so he just mustered up a kind response “They look great” he finally said, and for the first time you saw his sweet smile.
The trees moved along with the light breeze of wind, birds sang a luscious melody and the sky was clear. Jake sinks into the beams of the midday sun, accepting it’s warm nature. It’s humid and noiseless.
“Really? Seojun and Jungwon said they looked bad”  you laughed and he let go of your hand. “But I think you’re right,” you add quietly.
“Yang Jungwon? The archery guy?” He was curious, since he knew Seojun well. She was Heeseung's girlfriend.
Seojun and Heeseung we’re deeply and irrevocably in love with each other. They became one with one another, and shared the beautiful bond everyone envied. They sunk  in the commitment, intimacy, passion and admired the individuality they kept. Now, in 11th grade the fire they started was only growing, and even after countless hook ups, it still felt like their first time.
“Yeah, archery Jungwon! He’s a senior and my brother” you explained and Jake nodded in understanding.
“That explains why seniors never mess with you or Seojun” he chuckles and you hit his forearm. You never realized how built he really was.
“Hey, you’d take that chance if you could too” you said and he hummed in agreement.
He blows out a steady breath. Jake has never felt so comfortable with a girl. She gave him a mold and he fit perfectly. He’s grown weary of chasing after that which destroys him until he’s in deadly silence, burned to the core. He wanted to finally open up his arms and detach from the raw perspectives tight grip.
“I’m really surprised we haven’t been talking earlier” you say after a brief moment of comforting silence, and Jake feels like the birds chirping tune has become more joyful, the sun joists a little brighter and the wind perfectly sweeps across his face. “I mean, Seojun and Heeseung have been dating since forever. Heeseung is your best friend right?” you ask, knowing the answer.
Jake had many friends, or at least he thought so. His deskmate and platonic soulmate Heeseung, the mother of the group, Jay, the swim team captain and somehow his friend, Sunghoon. Then there was Sunoo who’d barely show up to class. Yet when he did, the whole class would cheer for their entertainment source, and wait for the chaos to begin.
He descends in the golden hope he’s been given. He breathes in the contentment and liberation the conversation has brought him to “I’ve known him pretty long. Although he never listens to me” Jake laughs and looks at you.
“Seojun is so stubborn too! She never listens and ends up getting in trouble” you smile and he chuckles.
Living the life of the remarkable couple that was Heeseung and Seojun, must’ve been so carefree and fun.
“I guess they’re meant to be,” Jake said and the giggle that leaves your lips is carefree and sunny, and grounds Jake in his growing contentment. It’s astonishing how easily you encit this light from him.
“No joke, they are. I always end up third wheeling when i'm sleeping over at Seojun’s” you said, and he gives you a questioning look “She ends up calling him on facetime” you voice an answer to his inner question.
Jake felt as if he could talk to you for hours, but when the picture of the newly renovated school started becoming clearer, his heart sank. He started picking up various screams and he could see the 10 graders playing on the school's court. He also didn’t expect you to ever talk to him again.
“Did you do the math homework?” you ask as the school grounds enfulge the both of you in a seemingly playful atmosphere.
Jake shakes his head and you make a shocked face, which leaves him fearful.
“It’s okay Jake,  Jieun probably did it” you answer with a gentleness you never knew your voice could possess, and reassure his inner dilemma. The usage of his name makes his uneasy stomach warm.
As he expected you to leave his side, you never did. You walked  close to him, and he could swear he felt the positivity radiate off of you. Although you kept quiet, as you two walked up the never ending staircase.
“Y/n! Why are you so early?” Seojun said, already all over Heeseung. He was pouting at her, and Seojun was applying her favorite cherry lip gloss onto his soft lips. She spotted Jake but that didn’t exactly answer her question, just enfudgled her in deeper confusion. “What are you doing with Jake?”
…
Jake tried to focus. He read over the sentence multiple times but it all felt like a blur to him. He found himself forgetting basic things, as his gaze couldn’t help but avert in your direction.
After you two walked through the large wooden doors, Seojun kept on teasing you, and Heeseung almost instantly repeated her action but directed it towards Jake.
‘Is she your girlfriend?’ ‘Is her your boyfriend’
‘Did you two already kiss?’
It was the consequence of having an annoying and childish friend.
His warm hands tremble slightly, as he gropes the plastic pen.
“What’s the answer to number five?” Heeseung whispers, but Jake ignores him. “Jaeyunnie?” he breathes out, and Jake kicks his foot with no answer. If only he had number five himself.
He’d been skipping questions, now on number eight still not grasping anything printed on the paper.
‘The period between childhood and adulthood is called?’
“Easy, youth” he whispers, and Heeseung turns into his direction with a pleadfull look on his face.
A smile perks up on his lips as he writes down his answer with confidence.  Yet he sinks back into his chair, when the next question doesn’t sound so painfully obvious.
‘Hugging someone who is hurt is a signal of?’
He sighs and writes down bravery but is sure the answer isn’t correct. He ducks his head low, dropping the pen. He glances down with a small smile, studying his dress pants. He gathers small pieces of lint, and throws them into the large pocket of his backpack.
Jake sneaks another secretive glance at you, and you seem just as confused as he is. Although you keep writing so he assumes you're just shooting your shot. You try biting at your fingernails to relieve the stress, but soon remember they aren’t bare anymore.
He stares at the blank, gray TV mounted on the wall. It seems like a dust collector, since the teachers never turned it on, but with the right remote it could show anything he wanted. Maybe even the answers to this impossible test.
“I think it’s okay to not have answers,” Heeseung whispers.
He tried to copy Jake’s answers but instead he spotted the page empty with nothing even scribbled over. Jake’s pen layed lifelessly just like the look on his face.
“This is gonna hurt” Jake responds, but doesn’t remove his eyes from the TV.
Softly, and quietly, Heeseung says “I know”
He likes teasing Jake for his perfectionism, and longing passion for achieving great scores. Yet deep inside he has the need to comfort and reassure his friend at times like this.
Jake squeezes his eyes shut, until he can feel the pain. He tries hard to muster up any answer that would at least give him half a point, but the bell relieves the pain as his eyes flush open.
Panic rises as the calm aura subsides. He has to be hallucinating, but the students rising from their seats and handing in the test say otherwise. Time doesn’t even feel real anymore.
“You want me to hand that in for you?” Heeseung asks, pointing to the empty paper. Jake shakes his head, and Heeseung just shrugs while walking off.
“Babe I did so well! I didn’t finish one exercise, can you believe that?” Seojun squeaks, and wraps her long arms around Heeseung’s neck. He pulls her closer to his exhausted body and spins her around. She laughs and he just keeps on repeating how proud he is.
“I knew you’d do well!” Heeseung says and she kisses his cheek, leaving a wet spot.
Jake doesn’t understand how Heeseung isn’t envious of his girlfriend at this very moment. He bites his lip, and feels guilty.
Maybe if he was in his friend's position it’d be different. Maybe if he could actually experience real love.
His eyes catch your figure stalking towards the teachers desk, where the stacks of tests lay. With a sigh you let go of the paper, and smile at the teacher. Jake repeats your action. He doesn’t know if he did it because of you or perhaps he has come to a realization he won’t write anything.
“I’m counting on you Jake” Mrs. Kang says and he flips the paper over to hide the fact he answered barely two questions. He gives her a polite smile in return.
Some students are still glued to their chairs. Most of them are scribbling over their paper at an inhumane pace, and some look like they’re praying for a miracle.
“So, how was it?” you ask, bringing Jake back to reality.
He looks at you and smiles. All his worries fade away as you return one back, with the sweetest look on your face.
Jake regrets not noticing you earlier. Then he wouldn’t feel like the side character to Seojun and Heeseung's story.
What?
“I knew this would happen. It went horrible” he answered.
“Don’t worry! I didn’t answer a single question correctly” you say, and rub his shoulder.
Jake feels the coldness of the classroom turn into a warm summer field. He bites back a cheeky response “I’m sure you’ll do better next time”
“I don’t think so. I probably can’t even introduce myself in English” you giggle and he does too.
“I think I just panicked” Jake says, and you pout.
“Why? You know you don’t always have to be perfect. It’s fine to not be the best always” you voice with a dismal tone.
His heart climbs, climbs, and climbs until it finally explodes into a flowered array of colorful sparkles. He feels as if his chest is on fire.
“I’ve always put so much pressure on myself-” Jake starts but the couple interrupts him.
“Let’s go outside! The archery team came back from their competition!” Seojun says, and you roll your eyes.
“I really don’t want to hear Jungwon bragging right now,” you say.
“Jungwon’s so cool” Jieun joins in and you make a disgusted face.
“Not really. He’s off limits by the way, Jieun” you respond and she just pouts at you.
Jake listens to the interaction unveil, still standing close to you. His hand brushes against yours.
“I can’t believe you’d think I like your brother,” Jieun asserts sadly.
“You do like him,” Seojun says calmly. Jieun gives her the scariest stare, and Seojun clings onto Heeseung's arm for protection.
Jake fights the urge to laugh at their ridiculous approach to a seemingly serious topic. He’s reminded, fondly, of their immaturity- their youth.
“Y/n don’t listen to this snake. Everything she says is a lie” Jieun looks straight into your eyes.
“Whatever Ji. As long as your not making out with him in my house im fine with it” you say and Jieun bites her lip at the thought of having any intimate moment with Jungwon. You spot it. “You’re disgusting” you laugh and slap her arm.
You then turn to Jake and pull out the pen you were previously scribbling over your exam with. You write nine digits on his hand, and he doesn’t understand what for at first.
“Let's talk about this later. I want to help you” you say with a cute smile as Seojun starts pulling you towards the school's exit. You mouth a fast sorry, and leave him alone with Heeseung.
“I can feel it coming” Heeseung sings and Jake just rolls his eyes leaving the classroom “Oh” he makes a frustrated noise, and looks for his next target.
Sunghoon. Perfect.
Jake’s finger hovered over the call button, his mind puzzled. He bites back his tongue.
What if you don’t pick up?
But when he accidentally touched the screen a bit too hard, and the dialing sound erupted through his phone's speaker, he had no choice but to accept the reality.
Things happen for a reason.
“Hello? Who is this?” he hears your voice. It sounds so full of life and delicate.
“Uh, Jake. Sim Jake. I’m sorry if you're busy I just-” he rambles but you cut him off with a laugh. He pauses and feels embarrassment creep onto his cheeks as he lets one of his aggravating habits unleash in front of you.
“No no, I’m not busy. I never am in a matter of fact” you say and he exhales a sharp breath he’s been holding in ever since the call started.
Why was he so nervous?
“Did you eat already?” you ask and he sits up straight on his bed. His nerves are now comforted by the mask of darkness, and his confidence grows with every inhale.
“I did. Mom made jjigae. She usually never puts this much effort into dinner, and makes me eat out with Heeseung” Jake explains and you smile.
Jake didn’t catch the moment where you two became friends. His far fetched knowledge wasn’t aware two people could bond so easily. The last time he hit it off with someone so easily was when Sunghoon joined their class last year. Some things as simple as this made him question himself.
“Lucky” you expressed “My parents left for Busan this morning, and since me and Jungwon don’t cook, like at all, we had to eat leftover rice with some kimchi we found in the fridge” you explained and Jake thought about bringing you for dinner next time.
He shook his head.
“I tried catching up on some English, but I seriously can’t understand anything, Although I did make some sense of the last topic” you voice, not letting Jake speak on your last statement.
A tingling sensation rushes down Jake’s neck and chest with a dangerous thrill.
“Good” he lets out a shaky breath “I like that”
“That sounded like you're trying to seduce me” you laugh, and Jake’s heart leeps unexpectedly.
He wasn’t trying to. Or maybe he was.
“Sorry” he mumbles “I’m just really tired, and I still haven’t finished the assignment” Jake explains and you feel bad for him.
“Jake you need to stop overworking yourself. I know, we aren’t that close yet, but we all know you barely get any sleep” you scold, and his breath deepens.
“I don’t want to disappoint anyone, '' his voice trembles.
“You won’t. Jake this is highschool! You should be more careless, have some fun” you say “Maybe fall in love. Ah, I wish someone wanted me like Heeseung wants Seojun” you giggle.
Everyone wants you. I want you. Don’t you know that?
“Maybe you’re right,” he speaks with a low voice.
“I know I’m right. I’m always right” you assure and hear a quiet, breathy laugh on the other side of the call.
Jake thought you’d be the one to cut their conversation short, tired of his shyness, and drained from constantly coming up with an entraining topic, but you didn't. You didn’t hang up on him. Jake tossed and turned in his bed, regularly kicking off the bedsheets and bringing them back up when his body reaches an uncomfortable temperature. He listened to the soft sound of your voice until his mind seemed to shut it out, and his eyes eloped him in a universe of constant nothingness.
“..she ditched me for him on my birthday! Can you believe? I was so pissed  at her for the whole week after that” you said and the other side of the line was quiet. “Jakey? Did you mute?”
Silence.
You waited hoping to hear a response soon.
“Oh, well you must’ve fallen asleep. Goodnight” you whispered softly, and smiled.
don’t fall asleep next time!!!!!!!
let’s get a meal tomorrow
i’ll tell you the story again hehe
goodnight~~
…
He had overcome his initial shyness. He spoke to you with a newfound confidence.
It’s been a month. Or two. Jake can’t recall cause time spent with you never felt real to you.
When Heeseung initiated your newborn friend group visits the beach in honor of graduation, Jake made sure to workout everyday, and follow his strict diet. He wanted to look good.
For you.
“You should tell us about how you found out you’re in love with Heeseung, Seojun!” Jieun beamed.
Jake sits up rapidly glancing once again at the landscape in front of him. Soft wind blows and the hot sun seetles on his skin.
“Not this again” you roll your eyes, and Jieun gives you a death glare.
“I want to at least know what it feels like” she protests.
“All of us have heard this story millions of times, Ji” you say and she acts offended.
“I haven’t” Sunghoon declares, and takes a long sip of his ice cold water.
Jake and Jay agree with him. You sigh and lay back down on the soft towel. The sizzling sand settles on your back through the material.
“You’re just jealous no one loves you like Heeseung loves me” Seojun fights, and snuggles into the warm embrace of Heeseung's toned arms.
I do.
“Yeah right” you huff.
“It’s hard for me to put into words what it feels like to be with Hee'' she starts and Jieun smiles “I don’t know the exact moment I knew, I just did. If you ever fall in love you’ll know it”
“Even when he made me sad countless times, I still knew my anger wouldn’t last long. I started to love him for who he is on the inside. I started to love his flaws. The kisses and sweet words, they're still a first time feeling. He taught me answers that couldn't be obtained by counting. I have someone like him in my life and I know what I feel is real and will never compare to anything I’ve ever experienced. And if you love someone enough, they’ll always know where home is” she finished and Jieun was quietly fangirling, with a tear streaming down her rosy cheek.
It felt familiar to Jake. He couldn’t quite grasp it yet.
“Are you seriously crying, Jieun?” Jay interjected, and Jieun whipped the salty tear away with the palm of her hand.
“Am not. The sun is just really bright, and I don’t have sunglasses” she protested and Jay just laughed.
Jake felt awkward seeing how he changed after meeting you.
He doubted his feelings for you. He could push them away. But he knew they were real. He learned to love every part of you.
“I seriously need to get a girlfriend,” Sunghoon said, and Jay eagerly agreed with him.
A sinking feeling begins to rot in his stomach as the realization dawns on him.
“It’s a lot of searching but sometimes the right person is next to you the whole time” Heeseung explains.
Jake looks at your sunkissed figure at his words, but quickly averts it to Jay who was pouring water into his cup. He didn’t want to be so obvious with his feelings.
“Don’t even think about it” Jake turns his head to Sunghoon, who is pushing Jieun’s figure away.
“You’ll never know if you don’t try,” Jieun pouts and crosses her arms.
The blazing sun makes your skin glow a soft porcelain, pink lips pressed together. Jake likes it. He likes it almost too much.
Jake spends lonely nights in the darkness of his own room, thinking about you. The image of you laying next to him, makes his heartbeat faster, and an unfamiliar feeling becomes one with his bloodline. You consumed at least 50% of his brain.
He gets deja vu. His finger hovers over the call button, hesitation and panic replacing the air in his lungs.
Why does he feel like this?
“Fuck it” he murmurs.
‘You should be more careless, have some fun, maybe fall in love’
“Hello? Is everything okay” the voice he adores so much speaks through his speaker, and he almost forgets that he dialed your number already.
“Hey, Y/n” he speaks with a low voice, afraid of the destiny spreading before him with every word.
“Jake you seem off” you say, and he straightens up his posture.
Stop being weird.
Jake remembers sitting here, on his bed, after the trip to the beach came to an end, the sun setting, forcing himself to accept the first pieces of the truth that changed his heart for good. The time span between that and now feels like he’s discovered so much.
“You’re the best thing that has happened to me” Jake confesses. “And I know you changed me”
You hesitate, flustered by his sudden confession “For the better, right?”
“I don’t know that either” Jake says, and his voice trembles.
He looks out the window, and it reminds him of the day that changed the way he perceived things. But this time instead of a bustling atmosphere, it was almost unoccupied. The street was lifeless, because without a purpose it feels the same way Jake did before he met you. Empty.
“It’s okay to not know” you say, and Jake is brought back to the day he sat in the uncomfortable classroom chair, nothing in his head accept you. It took him long enough to realize his mistake.
Jake feels a pinching feeling overcome his body. His hands, his head, his body and his soul. He wanted to cry again but he  didn’t  want tears to disrupt the heartfelt moment unveiling in front of him. He learnt to be grateful for what he has, but he never experienced what it's like to get that taken away from you.
“I wish I could feel you” Jake’s voice falls into a low rumble.
You inhale sharply.
“In my arms” he holds his breath “Warm, and real”
“Don’t do this, Jake” you whisper “Please”
Heartbreak was never so loud.
A silence falls within the call. He’s stunned into silence.
“I think I love you”
Nothing.
His eyes squeeze shut. His heart seems to stop pumping blood, as he doesn’t hear your voice.
As you can sense Jake’s wiliting stature, you speak softly “I’m sorry for doing this to you”
“No it’s fine. I’m sorry for ruining our friendship” he replies, tears forming on his waterline.
You don’t disagree with him. His heart begins to shatter. He knows he’s lost you.
Jake loved to absorb new knowledge, and study complex problems. He liked the feeling that coursed through him as he successfully solved a math problem or answered a complicated chemistry equation. The one thing he learned so quickly was how to love you. How to appreciate you for your individuality, and cherish the moments spent with you.
But the one thing he couldn’t learn was how to stop loving you.
I’m going to miss this
“It hurts” he whispers, not capable of holding the stream of tears anymore “But it’s okay”
“Jake I really hope you find someone that can love you the way I can’t” you wince.
Everything brings him back to the day he first met you.
Because now that he won’t have you by his side anymore, the unlucky days won't magically turn better.
He hates the fact he will never be able to hate you.
He hates the fact that you are so imperfectly perfect.
Jake’s quiet cries are the only thing consoling the immediate silence.
“Please remember me when our youth is gone, Y/n” he says hanging up the call.

There's an aspect about Izuku both in and out of universe that really bothers me, and it's how there's a sort of expectations for HIM to be the one to clear the air between him and the people around him. To be honest, Izuku doesn't owe anyone anything after the way he's been treated.
Why is his bullying at the hands of Bakugou treated as a "mutual" problem by everyone INCLUDING his own friends and mentor (I know it's mostly due to how bullying is treated in Japan, but come on)? Why is it on him to "properly communicate" with Bakugou about "their feelings"?
Why should he be the one to clear the air with Shinsou about how Blackwhip going out of control wasn't planned and how he really expected to get into the heroics course on his Quirk alone with no physical training*? This isn't even counting how Shinsou's been a dick to him in nearly all of their interactions.
Why should he be the one to prove Sir Nighteye wrong about his assessment of him when Nighteye's the petty, controlling, boundary disrespecting adult?
Why should he be the one to prove Aizawa wrong about his assessment of him when Aizawa's the teacher who not only does the bare minimum of what a teacher should do, but who also offers only criticism with no advice for him?
Why should he apologize for leaving UA and not telling 1A about OFA when a) he only had the best of intentions (and was later proven right that they couldn't keep up), and b) 1A didn't even TRY understanding his POV and shamed/beat him into returning, damn the consequences?
*I understand that Izuku also had this problem in Chapter 1, but a) he was rightfully called out for this thinking by All Might, and b) he himself immediately aknowledges that it was a pipe dream that he had been in denial about

cw; hurt/comfort, toxic family dynamics, cutting parents off, soft ending
you sniffle as you press yourself further into shinsou's shirt, trying to contain your tears but failing miserably. it feels gut-wrenching to keep them back so against your active will, you let them flow. shinsou's hand rubs gentle circles onto your back, not entirely sure how to comfort you in this situation.
he's no stranger to unhealthy family dynamics and even the story you've unveiled for him through the time of your relationship has sounded eerily familiar to what his home was like before he became an orphan.
"am i a terrible child?"
his heart skips a beat at the question before he feels a boiling anger rise to his head. not at you, not at the question itself, but at your parents for making you feel like this.
he coos gently as he kisses your forehead, trying to sound calm, "no, they're terrible parents."
his certainty, the determination in his voice makes you flinch before you hide again. you're flustered at being an adult crying like this to your boyfriend, but deciding to go no-contact with your parent proves incredibly hard as their presence keeps haunting you like unrestful ghosts.
he kisses your forehead again and you let out a new series of sobs. he so badly wants to help you through this; he sees the flinching when your phone rings, the name familiar on the screen. he sees the dysregulation in your stability when it's brought up. he sees the way you curl in on yourself whenever you have to defend your choice.
you willingly orphaned yourself and some people have made you out to be the villain.
but what child - no matter how old they may be - would willingly want to lose their parents, if not out of a desperate need for survival?
your parents messed up, not you.
he says this as he pulls you closer, into a tight hug. you squeeze your eyes impossibly tighter, feeling hot from the embarassment of complaining about your parents when you know how his abandoned him. you're priviliged and spoiled, right?
it's like he reads your mind because he presses a kiss to your wet cheek and pulls your head up by the chin to look into your eyes, "our situation's not the same. you looking out for yourself is neither terrible nor selfish of you. i am so sorry that they do not appreciate you for who you are, but i'm here for you, and"- he tugs a strand of hair behind your ear and wipes a tear from your cheek with his thumb -"whatever terrible thoughts are going through you right now, i am not thinking any of that, i promise you. you deserve to have your boundaries - which are very basic, by the way - respected. you've tried, you've communicated, you've given chances. you haven't given up on them without a fight, so this is their own doing, okay?"
your underlip wobbles as another fat tear spills from your eye, but you nod and lean into him again, inhaling his scent as you try to unclench every muscle. it's going to be okay. you're not alone in this.
"they made their bed." you say finally, hiccuping as you take deep breaths. shinsou nods, "yeah, and they're grown adults who've made choices. i know it hurts - but you're not alone."
"thank you hitoshi."
he smiles and kisses the crown of your head, "i'll always be there - together with all your friends. we see you and we support you. you deserve better."
he wants to tell you that family isn't blood, that he could be family, that he wants to be family but you're overwhelmed right now and this is not how he's planning to propose; the ring's already hidden in his locker at the agency, waiting for one of your friends to finish a crocheted commission of your cats that he'll need to make his plans perfect.
he knows a husband isn't a substitute for having a mom or a dad, but he hopes he'll always make you feel loved and appreciated when he one day becomes your family.

Wait, did Hori completely skip over their second and third year at UA? Or is the graduation talking about a different year?
Love how there's still absolutely ZERO introspection from anybody about the war, what drove Aoyama's parents to force him into being the traitor, Tokoyami and Izuku possibly being Quirkless, or Aizawa being such a shitty teacher that he never noticed the UA traitor being one of his own students.
And Shinsou can go kick rocks. I've never liked him since I learned how pervasive Fanon!Shinsou is in the fandom, and seeing his Goob from Meet The Robinsons ass being rewarded for his victim mentality really irks me. Again, love how Aizawa supposedly hates favoritism despite turning around and favoring Shinsou (and Bakugou).

Hi @nutzgunray-lvt 👋
No hori didn't completely skip over 1A's seconds and third year. The time skip was only a few days (which bugs me even more) so I was talking about mirio and his classes graduation. Personally I feel like it's too early to do such a thing but I mind of see it as hori making a full circle moment with what he mentioned in the war arc.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oh my Iam so mad that there is no and I mean NO INTROSPECTION about what everyone or anyone just went through!??!?! Like y'all just went through a whole war and there is nothing acknowledging that!!!! Heck not even last chapters hospital scene made an effort in acknowledging what went down. The only type of acknowledgement we get is mirio's speech talking about how the heroes are trying hard to go back to square one and how they know there is a lot of work cut out for them but other than that complete radio silence which is weird as hell.
I mean we have seen people die in that war arc, many suffered injuries or lost things, many are probably mentally or physically scarred or both and hori opening no acknowledgement to that and trying to go back to normal is just horrible writing. The fact that it's been a few days since the war and they're going back to school is horrible in itself.
Tumblr media
The series in itself doesn't even bother to mention aizawas faults as a character or teacher. Look I got into MHA because of the fanon promise of dadzawa (so Iam bias and have a soft spot for it) but dam horis writing of aizawa is such a let down to what fics and friends have told me about dadzawa. Also it's such a shame that aizawa apologises to izuku mid battle using his first name btw and then we are never brought back to that moment it's simply a one off. Also the simple lack of intropsection and information coming from every character is seriously annoying me it's like I can tell that they're simply puppets that hori is horribly controlling.
Tumblr media
Also yuuga deserves better I have talked about how I wanted hori to use the idea of transfer students and students dropping out but this was unsatisfactory. Iam not saying that yuuga shouldn't of dropped out but Iam saying that there was no point considering that he went through that whole ordeal saying that if he fights that the education system may overlook his treachery but now he is leaving?!?!?!?
I like the potential that shinsou had but in all honesty he is way too underdeveloped for anything. There hasn't been any acknowledgements of his own mistakes and flawed ideology, we never see his interaction with Izuku and him learning that izuku isnt privileged, we don't see him apologising to ojiro for insulting him, we don't see him actually warming up to 1A rather he seems to be happier in his own class. I have talked more about shinsou and what he could of been here
Tumblr media
Honestly it never made sense to me why aizawa likes bakugo so much when bakugo is like a carbon copy of his childhood bully so🤷‍♀️. Shinsou I kinda get but dam it's not a good look for sure.
#BRINGIZUKUSFLUFFYHAIRBACK
Horikoshi has no reason to take away Izuku's fluffy hair!! I need it to comeback and I beg for him not to give izuku a disgusting undercut like those aged up fan arts do. Also best Izuku is MHA 411 izuku!!!
