Now this moment features another top-ranked Richonne kiss and the word of the day when talking about this Richonne scene behind a tree is 'CHEMISTRY' ❤️‍🔥...

We get to see Michonne inside a helicopter for the first time which is cool as she flies with Rick, Pearl, and others to the Cascadia base. Pearl, who just seems fully bought into the CRM ways, is trying to make Michonne feel like she should be so honored to be a part of this since she’s only a consignee.

Rick is sitting quietly in the helicopter and I’m sure he feels like he’s just been having some terrible, horrible, no good, very bad days every day that Michonne has been mad at him. Even tho first and foremost she’s mad at the situation they’re both in. But him a little too lol.

Michonne again being an A with perceptive questions says, “There’s nothing out here. What’s it protecting?” And Pearl answers, “The security of the Civic Republic, expanded resources, intel operations along the West Coast, the future.”

Then when they arrive at their destination, Michonne is slaying in the CRM soldier uniform. 🔥 Like she serves in every outfit. 👏🏽

Pearl passionately goes over the mission with Rick by her side and again I love Michonne’s stance in this - she looks like she’s the one they should be taking orders from. 😋

Rick looks over at Pearl and Michonne looks directly at Rick. I love how she’s not even trying to be super subtle staring at him like 🤨.

Michonne was giving full wife stare-downs and clearly had lots of thoughts going through her head as she expressively blinked and looked away.

As she says later, she saw Rick here standing at attention as a soldier to this army and she knows this isn’t him and that he’s imprisoned here.

I also notice Rick doesn’t really look at Michonne in this scene and it’s probably a smart move. Because if he had looked at her those fellow soldiers would be like - now why is Grimes looking at Consignee Bethune like he wants to consume her more than the delts do?? 🤔

Pearl is trying her best to seem like an alpha leader but she's dtm and not really selling it. She talks about the importance of what they’re about to do and the stakes saying that if they’re unsuccessful the plan gets set back and then she yells, “Do we allow the plan to get set back!?”

Rick and the soldiers respond, “No ma’am” and Michonne has me cracking up at her response to Rick saying “no ma’am.” 😂 She’s looking directly at Rick like now I know you lying lol.

But honestly, while I know there was some interpreting this as her getting the ick from Rick, I think this look has a lot more to do with her disdain toward the CRM. I feel like she’s thinking something along the lines of 'CRM, you did a real number on my baby and I promise you I’m going to undo it.'

And again similar to Rick in previous scenes, Michonne is not subtle with these stares at him lol. But I love it. She’s looking at him like 'Mr. RJ’s Dad if we don’t get up out of here by tomorrow it’s gonna be an issue because I’ve had it with this place and I’m ready for us to go home yesterday.' #DirectQuoteFromHerMind. 😌

And I’d be remiss if I didn’t note that Rick looks fine yet again in this scene lol. ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

Rick asks, “Who has the ball, ma’am?” and Pearl says with overconfidence, “I do.” And again Michonne’s whole stance and look is serving, honey. Goddess through and through. 👑

Pearl goes on to address Michonne, and Thorne's energy is just giving forced. She wants Michonne to be intimidated so bad but it ain’t happening. And Michonne is ready to match Pearl’s energy right down to their facial expressions.

Pearl tells Michonne to stay in formation and handle cleanup and no-kills off the line. Michonne just nods and Pearl tells Michonne not to panic if she gets lost because she can just hit the PRB and a helicopter will come get her. And even before seeing the upcoming scene, I was like why do I have a feeling Michonne will be the only one not panicking on this excursion lol. 🙂

So then they cut to them in the middle of the walker takedown and Michonne is about to walk forward and help (and it low-key feels like she starts walking forward cuz Rick is ahead and those magnets are always going to be pulling her in his direction. 🧲). But Pearl tells Michonne to stay back for no-kills.

I was like Pearl, this is basically like you’re keeping an all-star on the bench by keeping Michonne back. Like Michonne and Rick could probably handle all of this just the two of them. But Pearl is adamant and about as stubborn as that R-DIM that won’t budge.

Speaking of - Pearl is struggling to get this R-DIM moving, y’all. I honestly could not take much more secondhand embarrassment for the lady. 🫣 Rick tries to offer a solution but Pearl turns it down and says they should’ve given the last spot to a soldier instead of Michonne. Wrong again, Pearl. 

So Michonne watches, looking all determined, and she knows she can handle this so like a true Get Things Done Grimes she gets it done. 👌🏽

Michonne starts pushing the R-DIM forward and Pearl tells her to stand down almost strictly because I’m sure she’s going to be embarrassed if Michonne pulls this off. But Michonne is already off to the races as she pushes the R-DIM.

And Michonne seems to feel like she’s back in her element doing this. See, It's not the R-DIM, It's not the Pearl, It's just that Chonne's that girl. 🎶💁🏽‍♀️

Then when it gets a bit harder to push she looks over and sees Rick by her side coming to help and y’all they’re just the best. 🥹

I love that Rick sees her doing this and joins and says, “Let’s go,” helping her rather than reprimanding her. He knows she’s breaking protocol but when it comes to following Pearl’s orders or following Michonne’s lead, well, his wife is his choice every time.

And seeing Richonne back in action taking down walkers was a lovely sight. It was giving TWD 7.09 when they were in cars mowing down that horde of walkers in sync.

All these years later and they are still that well-oiled machine even during a rough spot in the relationship. And if Michonne felt like she was in her element before, they both really feel in their element taking this on together. It’s the way it should be. 😌

So they get the R-DIM to where it needs to be and Rick turns it on. he tells Michonne, “Come on” as Rick reaches for her hand so they can run for safety. I love that he wants to hold her hand as he leads them somewhere safe and that she does take his hand. 🥰

I feel like amid their fight, they both were longing for some indicator that they’re still in this together and this handhold felt like that. Of course, Richonne + hands are always a great moment. 😌

And then next, TOWL gives us my favorite moment in episode 3.

The R-DIM alarm rings and then Rick and Michonne make it to what many have rightfully deemed the boneless tree. 😋 And I love the little detail of Rick making sure Michonne was able to take cover behind the tree before him. And that they hold hands the whole way. Just the cutest. 🥰

The R-DIM sets off an explosion and Michonne and Rick immediately take cover in each other's arms and again I’m beyond here for it. I love that they both just instinctually grab each other. No matter how upset they are, they’ll always love and protect each other.

So they have this moment all up close and personal and because it is a scientific fact that these two are magnets & that adrenaline rushes are always particularly arousing for them, there was no way Rick and Michonne were going to be that much in each other's personal space and not do what they do next.

Like you think those magnets within them care that there are CRM soldiers nearby? No.🤭🧲

So still holding onto each other, they have this moment of looking intimately into each other's eyes, once again communicating without words, and y’all the best way to describe the way they look at each other is ‘longing’ - like that deep longing for each other in every way was written loud and clear on both their faces.

Rick looks at her, then right at her lips, then back in her eyes and within a second he leans in and they’re right back to making out. I’m too here for it and I love this kiss. ❤️‍🔥 This was definitely their hungriest kiss thus far.

I love how Rick sorta lifts up from the ground like he’s floating on air when he first kisses her. He really does kiss her like he’s still living in a dream.

I love how passionate they always are when they kiss. Even with Rick feeling like he needs to send her away, he cannot resist showing how he really feels as they kiss - and what he really feels is that he wants to be with her entirely and in every way. 

I feel like they both needed this moment of reconnection so much after being at odds. This kiss communicated clearly that before they’re mad, they’re madly in love.

And then the second half of this kiss is when I was looking at Richonne like...oh y’all would go all the way right now if you could. 👀

Like I think one of the only things that stopped them from having this escalate was just the fact that those CRM uniforms are so layered lol. Because it wasn’t the fact that CRM soldiers were within walking distance. Richonne didn’t give a damn about that. I’m telling you it was just the layers of clothing and gear holding them back. 😂

But being for real, these two really are wild because they weren’t even trying to align with the bark of that boneless tree to at least shield themselves a little better during this kiss. But hey, when they’re in their Richonne bubble like this, everything else goes out the window, so it makes sense.

But yeah the second half of that steamy kiss had them hot and bothered the way they were both moaning in sync and grabbing each other as close as they could. When Michonne pulled his hair Rick looked like he was about ready to get on top of her right then and there.

(Side note: What’s cute too is I noticed in their season 6 canon kiss that the first time Michonne ever puts her hands in Rick’s curls she’s almost hesitant to do it at first and then she just goes for it. And now it’s her favorite thing. 😊)

It’s been years and years since either of them has been physically intimate and this kiss right here lets you know they’re both very eager for opening that door up with each other again. Like it needs to happen expeditiously at this point cuz they’re ready.

I love that something that’s always been true is Rick and Michonne are irresistible to each other. And truly no one does ravenous passion like Richonne. ❤️‍🔥

So I just adore this kiss for being a passionate moment of the two making their desire and love for each other so evident after not really talking much this ep. I almost forgot that in this episode Michonne hadn’t actually uttered a word to Rick until this scene. And her first words to him are perfectly delivered. 🤩

As they manage to pull away from the kiss, still completely unconcerned about being caught, they have this great passionate moment where they just stare right into each other's eyes and it truly feels like Rick is being hypnotized by Michonne as she smiles at him. #Enchanted😍

I love the way Michonne smiles right after the kiss and I really love that Rick is always so helplessly mesmerized by her. He knows he’s going to have to push her away soon but at this moment he can’t even peel his eyes away. Because I really think in moments when he gets lost in her that's when he finds himself. 👌🏽

And (jumping a bit ahead) that’s why it’s crazy he'll even attempt to claim that everything they had is broken because anytime they get close enough, it sure does look like everything they have is perfectly intact.

Like these two stayed operating like a madly in love married couple even during the near eight years apart from each other. Even during that time, they were still more loyally married than some married couples who see each other every day.

And Michonne knows from that kiss that her Rick is still in there. The man who kissed her is the Rick who wants with everything in him to break out of this place and go home with her.

So she smiles and all encouragingly and seductively whispers, “Come on.” So good and perfectly delivered. 👏🏽😊 And yet again we see the utterly enchanting effect Michonne has on Rick as he looks at her.

Rick seems dizzy and breathless from this whole exchange as he faintly says, “They’ll find us. They will.” It’s clear he’s still so overcome with fear and a lot of that is because he knows how hopeful he used to be about breaking free from this place but every time he tried to escape they found him.

Like this isn’t the guy from the TWD series finale who got caught by the CRM and smiled. This is the guy whose been so beaten down by this place that he believes there’s nowhere he can run anymore. 😥

Michonne is still hopeful tho as she reassures him, “We’ll make it so they can’t.” It's super sweet to see them holding each other close and swaying in sync while they talk. And I love that Michonne believes in them so much that she’s like even if we don’t have all the answers yet, you and I are capable of figuring it out along the way home.

Plus, if Michonne thinks they can escape and not get caught then that's good enough reason to believe they can because she’s always right. It's just gospel. 💁🏽‍♀️ The way I see it, the only way the CRM would find them is if they keep having these loud moanversations near the public lol, otherwise the two of them can pull off any escape plan they make together. 😋

But Rick is not willing to risk it and try to break away right now so he hesitantly says, “Not like this.” I know one of his least favorite things is having to turn down Michonne’s request and as he looks at her you can see it in his whole demeanor that he hates having to essentially tell her no.

Even the way he says it, it’s him trying to say no without having to outright say it, suggesting maybe there’s another way to escape just 'not like this,' even tho deep down he believes there's no way out for him.

Michonne is super saddened by this. She knows this fear-based response isn’t like her Rick.

And then I love that they do their signature forehead touch, even tho it’s a sad one. 🥲 This moment further emphasized that even when feeling defeated and disappointed, they still want to be connected. 

And y’all, to me Rick and Michonne doing this forehead touch out in the open was actually more wild than the kiss lol.🤭

Because if they were caught kissing they'd still have some major explaining to do but they could maybe play it off like they just really have the hots for each other after meeting in those woods. But this forehead touch says no these two have history and have a deeply committed relationship rooted in serious love.

So if Richonne had been caught like this their jig would have been up cuz they would have had those CRM soldiers looking over like...

I always feel so sad when I see Michonne looking in Rick’s eyes during this moment and searching for her Rick who seems to fade in and out ever since she’s reunited with him. Like the back and forth between Sergeant Major Grimes and the fleeting moments with her Rick has got to be hard on her.

But I love the way she lightly nudges his nose cuz again it’s just giving magnets and idk that intimate movement just always feels like such a soulmates thing to me. 🥹 Like she's trying to reach the Rick that's buried inside cuz she knows he's in there somewhere.

Rick looks at Michonne and from his expression, it's clear that while it deeply saddens him, he will put himself through the pain of parting from her if it means getting her back home safely to their daughter.

I think too in this moment as they lean their heads together Michonne is realizing just how much she’s going to have to fight to get them both home on her own since Rick isn’t ready to take the risk and break out yet.

Similar to what Rick had been doing up to this point, Michonne is now gonna have to take matters into her own hands for the sake of her family...and oh, she’ll do exactly that in these final moments of episode 3. 😅

But as far as this enthralling scene 'behind' the tree, this was another one of those scenes where they were knocking the epic love story they promised out of the park. 🙌🏽 Their chemistry is truly elite. 😍 And I adore this kiss and this romantic moment that was just brimming with emotion and irresistible passion between Richonne. 

Throughout this episode, Michonne had been trying to keep her crazy at bay but now as the episode concludes and Rick proceeds to pull a crazy card of his own, she's gonna have to unleash that unhinged side of herself. And the final moments of episode 3 remind us exactly why they say Richonne has some 'crazy love.' 😝👌🏽

I want to start writing and posting my very hush hush🤫 battle of the bands AU without anyone bothering me about updates. im not asking for a lot in actuality BUT……the way people act on here…

if I do this it would be a series. I think I will split up how each part gets posted too……since two groups are involved.

but also if it’s a waste of my time….I’ll just move along and keep rolling out one shots instead.

THIS WILL BE A CROSSOVER AU: nct dream/enhypen🤨

the premise: two childhood best friends(Heeseung/Jeno) fight over a girl in middle school and end up going to different high schools/both have little garage bands that play local shows but both gain notoriety in their districts, enough that a lot of people vote for them to make it to the top 5 for Battles of the Bands in their county

here’s where you come in- you are friends with the ‘00 liners and often help them sling demos/sell merch bc they let you go to all their shows for free, and offer to pay for stuff etc. throughout high school you always had the same boyfriend whose a year older than you and right before you’re ready to graduate you find out he’s been cheating on you in college. broken hearted and full of despair, your buddy Jeno’s like ‘hey if we win this battle of the bands thing we get a spot on Warped tour, you should come, it runs through summer. once in a lifetime opportunity.’

ur like nahhhh, but you go to the battle of the bands and meet their rival group(enha hyung line) for the first time and the singers REALLY into you, which leads to a run-in between him and *gasp* his ex-childhood bestie Jeno, they start talking shit to each other and you’re like😅😅😅??? ‘Why are you yelling at my potential rebound’ to which Jeno shouts ‘ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! HIM(yes.. its heeseung) NEVER!!!!’

yaddayaddya blah blah……you end up going on the tour, both bands come in as the top 2 finalists, and it ends up being the most chaotic memorable summer of your life……tons of drama, LOTS of guys, a lot of hooking up, some feelings, some confessions, jealousy, first times, etc etc. very coming of age with y/n running train on the whole squad as usual. I want to also really focus on each character and sort of how they all ended up in their bands/became friends, very ‘my teenage angst has a body count’-esque. each character has a song attached to them that delves more into their personal story/persona, etc……it wouldn’t be a super long AU, but maybe.

these updates would be SLOW, not weekly!!!! and tbfh if you even ask me once🤏 abt updates I may block you. Boom was like the last series I rly consecutively updated and it STRESSED me out/ruined how fun it was to write toward the end bc of the constant nagging for updates. its actually so much more annoying to read that message more than anything…maybe..

I want to write this bc, I love both groups and I think this type of story is something *I* personally could make something really fun out of, but yeah, like I’ve explained… the ‘when are you posting again/when will you update’ etc or snarky ass ‘FINALLY YOU UPDATED’ etc…..don’t do that!!!

I think this song is very Kabru in a this has big "customer service" vibes, lmao.

"Drive me somewhere you've been liking" -> hes a people pleaser, letting someone take the reins while he supports them and hangs back is kind of his thing. Even though he plans stuff out and chooses his words deliberately, sometimes he goes along with ppl's wants and expectations for him a bit too much...

The ultimate outcome... the core. The fate of the dungeon is something he wants to decide and get a say in as well. Even though he knows he isn't the one thats going to conquer it, he chooses to stop Mithrun from beating up Thistle and grabs him and they free fall into that pit. Because he decided, yeah, the fate of this dungeon the one to conquer it has to be us short-lived races/humans. He is such an action oriented character . He makes such decisions. He is so determined to make sure that Utaya doesn't repeat itself. Man.

Anyway that's song 1. moving on to song 2.

2. Smoke and Mirrors by Gotye

This entire song is So Kabru coded its insane to me . but I grabbed these lyrics from Verse 3 Because the last line specifically makes. me go crazy.

"You're a fraud, and you know it" -> the freaking masker . he is such a liar and he knows it... theres not much else to say here. Playing the hero, the saviour, while knowing he doesn't actually have the skills to defeat the dungeon but hes just so desperate . man

"And every night and day you take the stage" -> he should get an acting award fr... always adjusting his personality and carefully planning his steps with each person he interacts with man... also inchtresting to me that he gets to be more #real with Mithrun. thats a whole nother analysis can of worms I won't get into but like they rlly drove each other's character development...

"And it always entertains, you're giving pleasure" -> To quote Holm, Kabru is the typa guy who would do anything to get someone to like him akdjskhf hes so real for that...

"And that's admirable, you tell yourself" -> (kabru voice) im so cool for this ahaha everyone loves me (guy who genuinely fucking loathes himself) /ref

"And so you'd gladly sell yourself to others" -> smile of pain. I just think hes a real business man sometimes . Goodness Kabru stop being a charismatic salesman of your own personality im going to explode .

GENUINELY cannot really do this analysis lyric by lyric or I will go ... well. I'll go into the deep end but . like . right. anyway. this set of lyrics above aka the most popular line is very Kabru appearance. (Goodness i need to make an AMV of this. I will one day once the executive dysfunction stops fighting my autistic hyperfixation ass)

THIS WHOLE . SET OF LYRICS IS JUST BIG KABRU VIBES (SOURCE: JUST TRUST ME BRO)... His heart is full of swords... the sword fighter (he is proficient in many weapons)... im not big into tarot (or well i havent researched it much) but the annotations for these lyrics said that its referencing the Three of Swords tarot card, which represents painful sorrow. and like.. man like a fundamental sorrow in Kabru is so oughh its just so . real. and again i need a whole nother analysis post for this since this is already So long

Tie my hands & knock my knees. he is so stressed he is so . nervous all the time and these r like. the freeze . trauma response. to me. he goes freeze and fawn a lot (fawn not specifically with abusers per say but like people pleasing tendencies again) and like kind of visibly looking nervous and stressed out up before saying smth next is smth he does a lot I feel.

And like the vibe of like sinking to the sea with a heavy heart but also being someone who brings hope in a way to others (ex: Rin and Mithrun, he ends up being their anchor and helping them start like living with their lives after the burden of their traumas and hellish experiences) but Kabrus own traumas are so immense and then the person who rises . who foils him and who brings him hope is Laios. like a ripe red apple like. something bright and tempting and also dangerous (smth smth the forbidden fruit symbolism. theres so much . like Kabru that I can dissect with like Biblical symbolism themes but like anyway he sees Laios as both the key to humanity's victory against the dungeon and as sin / a distraction from his goal because Laios makes him do selfish things and its just AAAAHGHH rahhhh. man. im normal)

THE PRESSURES OF BEING ME: DEVILGRAM SUMMARY + REVIEW

(spoilers under the cut + review)

Happening shortly after the Scrolls event, Solomon and Simeon are chatting about how the magic scroll had now fulfilled its purpose and became a magic "game book" where you can enter three prompts and get transported into the story world.

Each encounter is random and new, which piqued Simeon's interest and made him pick up the scroll to try it out.

After you and Solomon find yourselves meeting with the story version of Diavolo and Barbatos, you found out the prompts Simeon picked up: "[MC's name, treasure, romance]". After the three key prompts are fulfilled, everyone can get back to the Devildom.

Diavolo and Barbatos then reveal that MC is considered a national treasure in their kingdom, as whichever place they decide to live in will be guaranteed prosperity and good fortune. Because of this, their safety became a concern for the three, particularly Solomon who volunteered himself to become MC's bodyguard as he knew with how valuable their abilities are, they can become a target for any greedy individual who chooses to use them for their personal agenda.

To the surprise of no one, MC does eventually get kidnapped by thieves (Mammon and Belphegor) while Solomon was busy discussing his bodyguard duties with Barbatos. As the two were debating if they should sell off MC, Solomon catches up and comes to the rescue. Belphegor summons a white cobra to drain Solomon's magic powers so they can escape and Mammon gloats that without his magic, Solomon is "useless". Only that wasn't the case at all. Solomon was able to summon a knife to escape the cobra's clutches, rescuing MC.

MC points out that they know Solomon was intending to be captured, and he sheepishly admits that he wanted the story to end in a more exciting way which was why he got captured on purpose.

The two reunite and share a kiss and return to the Devildom. At their return, Solomon professes his feelings for the MC again, telling them how they had always been his treasure all along.

REVIEW

It's a pretty standard Devilgram story. Writing-wise, it's nothing to write home about. It wasn't as good as the Vampire UR personally, and is a lot less sus but it does have its moments that made me raise my eyebrow like this🤨:

What I do appreciate in this Devilgram is they finally listened to feedback (I hope) and made us have an option to have an established relationship with the character in the Devilgram.

The secondary characters aren't as in your face as in the previous cards. In fact, I found it really funny that they made Mammon the "villain" in this story after how poorly he was received by several Solomon stans (including me) in Solomon's 2021 bday event.

Overall, a pretty solid story. Pure fluff and fanservice and the option to only be loyal to Solomon was really nice. I hope they continue with that tempo.

the final thing i’ll say is that it is really very funny to me that so many folks on here are acting like buying and shuttering a site is new and novel and a distinct evil 😭 i will not deny that it sucks to lose a fun and nifty tool because it does absolutely suck on many levels, but it has been happening since time immemorial and will continue to happen as teams strive to stay ahead of the pack in any way possible. sports are an arms race and cutting off your competition’s convenient access to a platform that you can operate instead — while also potentially getting some very bright minds on staff — is a normal business move. sucks but we do live in a society and teams will act accordingly. if the league was inclined they could have purchased the site and allowed it to continue operating at status quo; it’s not an individual organization’s job to make sure other teams and the general public can use a website.

and once again, this time we didn’t even lose anything except an interface we’re used to and the armchair gm tool, which will be implemented in other sites in no time at all. you guys would not have survived the loss of sean tierney’s tableau charts is what i’m saying 😭 like i was so happy for him when he got snapped up bc he’s a great guy but that was literally like a gunshot to the chest to me. i’m glad the fandom has had a resurgence in recent years and i am not saying this in a mean way but many folks would benefit from learning about the (relatively recent!) history of the rise of stat nerds and their public sites within the industry and the cycle of Smart Person Makes Site -> Everyone Uses and Loves Site -> Uh Oh The Site Is So Good The Smart Person Has Gotten Hired And We Lose Site 💔 -> Hey Another Smart Person Has Made A Cool Site and then maybe there would be more contextual understanding and less feeling like the world is ending bc we won’t have armchair gm for a little bit.

i will also say it is very 🤨 to be like “the public deserves all of this info!! knowledge should be free!!!” while just gobbling up the labor and time of these people with sites who often pay out of pocket for servers and various overhead costs and operate at a loss for YEARS just because they are passionate about their work. like i KNOW many of you are not putting your money where your mouth is! capitalism sucks i know i know!!! but this is what we’ve got!! the owners of these sites have to eat too like 😭 these guys (gn) have families!! alskajsjs. i endlessly appreciate the ones who stand firmly on not selling to a private entity (micah ineffectivemath you ARE a paragon of virtue and morality) but i never ever blame anyone for taking a job or a payday. and also i encourage anyone who enjoys the work of these folks to subscribe to their websites/patreons/etc. if you are comfortably able to! it’s a big way to help these sites stay open and accessible 👍

“He still hasn’t asked you?” Truss is just as shocked as the rest of the boys who are standing around you at the party.

“Nope” It was a long running joke that Nolan still hadn’t asked you to be his girlfriend. You’d been exclusively talking for months now and were practically dating but he, for some reason, still hadn’t asked.

“Well we’ve got to fix that” Brendan grins, grabbing your hand and pulling you away from the group and towards the kitchen.

“Bren what are you doing?” You laughed as he threw his arm around your shoulders, pulling you into his side.

“Here” He passed you a drink and you took it without question, “Now just relax, Nolan will be here in like 2 minutes” Brendan knew that Nick saw you two walking into the kitchen and that he would tell Nolan within minutes.

“If this works, I’ll be shocked”

“Moyle’s a simple man, trust me… it’ll work” You clinked your cups together and Brendan winked at you which made you laugh again.

“Briss” You heard Nolan from behind you but you couldn’t really move to look at him.

“Hey Nolan, how’s it going?” Brendan grinned and you dropped your head, trying to hide your laughter.

“Y/n? Let’s go” You twisted around, still a little trapped under Brendan’s arm but when you finally saw him, you could tell Nolan was pissed.

“Leaving so soon?” Brendan was really selling it and you weren’t sure how much longer you could handle not laughing.

“I don’t want to go yet, we just got here” You say quickly, staying firmly planted in your spot.

“Y/n” Nolan’s voice had an edge to it, like he was warning you but you didn’t really feel like listening to him right now. You could feel a few of the other guys’ eyes on you, obviously watching the whole thing go down.

“Stop being a party pooper Moyle” Brendan was pushing every button possible and he knew it.

“Why don’t you let my fucking girl go, huh?” You almost jumped when he raised his voice and you could tell Brendan was a little shocked as well.

“She’s not your girl though is she?” The guys in the room all fell silent and all eyes went to Nolan.

“Shut the fuck up Briss” Brendan was ready to fight back but you stopped him, squeezing his hand that was still behind your back.

“That’s enough Nolan” You stared at him, daring him to say anything else. “I’m leaving, thanks for the drink Bren” You walked out of the kitchen, heading towards the front door, not bothering to check if Nolan was following which you’re sure he is.

“Y/n, wait!” He called after you and you slowed down but didn’t stop. “Hey, hold on” You felt his hand on your arm once he caught up.

“Are you proud of yourself?” You ask and he looks dumbfounded.

“What?”

“What was that back there?”

“I should be asking you that. What the hell was Briss doing with his arm around you”

“Why does it matter”

“Why does it matter?” He echoed back incredulously. “Because we’re together, aren’t we?”

“I don’t know Nolan, are we?”

“What the hell is going on?” He tan his hands through his hair, clearly frustrated.

“I mean I’m not your girlfriend so really there’s no reason for Brendan to not have his arm around me, right?” You raised an eyebrow at him, trying to fight a smile.

“You’re fucking ridiculous” Nolan shook his head. “All this because I haven’t officially asked? You’re my girl, I didn’t think I had to ask you but fine, will you be my girlfriend?” His lips quirked up into a half smile.

“Hm I don’t know, I think I should go back and talk to Bren some more” You smirk but he shakes his head, putting his arm around you and walking you away from the party.

“Nope, we’re going home”

I am here to ignore ✨Star Wars✨ and instead bug you with my thoughts of mandalorian Bakugo and a jedi reader who are forced to work together and everyone is kinda amused at how the two of you at first argue and bicker like the ancient enemies your kind have been for years.

But this fierce grumpy mandalorian with the black green and orange beskar armor sees how patient you are healing all his wounds. And you see how soft he is with the foundlings and how he always takes the time to show them different defense moves. And soon enough he becomes the first one to shield you with his actual armored body when you are caught off guard. And he’s the only one who calls you “shitty jedi,” is the only one allowed to call you that, because it’s the same thing he yells at when you’re wounded as he rushes to be the first by your side.

Your lightsaber, his ancient armor, a clash of two worlds you know has caught you in the middle as the force playfully tickles the back of your neck as if to say I know what’s going in. Because you know in the deepest caverns of your heart that you long for more than anything to see what color his eyes are.

I agree with the sentiment that I wouldnt want to see tom in dune b/c I cant really picture him that universe and I think other actors should be considered over him specifically in that universe. But tom and denis working together in something else I am all for, denis is one of the best directors and one can learn alot from him on a technical level but also he also knows how to get the best from his actors. Do I think denis wants to work with tom I doubt it especially anytime soon. Denis cast are so precise and I just cant picture tom in a denis villenueve movie tbh, tom is just missing something that I cant describe like he just isnt cool 😭😭😭

I could see tom in a yorgos, greta gerwig , sam mendes but a denis film nah.
