falling for all the loser in love characters in a show/book that try to come off as cool and indifferent is so fun cuz their future partner be doing weird shit and embarrassing themselves and you'll be silently screaming and hiding your face cuz of the second hand embarrassment but then you realize this fool with heart eyes is definitely squealing like they got a high school crush and hypothetically kicking their legs and punching the air over that and that helps you calm down

Alright new Jason Todd headcanons in a dpxdc setting:
Danny is a "liminal" ghost, rather than a "half" ghost. He's alive and dead at the same time. (He's like Jesus Christ (in the church denomination I grew up in), fully ghost and fully human.) Danny, in human form, can go through a ghost shield, because he IS a living human.
Jason, however, is a reanimated corpse. He isn't a ghost, wouldn't have a ghost core, etc, he has a normal human system that runs ON ectoplasm. Jason CANNOT go through a ghost shield, because he is always an ectoplasmic entity. Danny can go through the Fenton Ghost Catcher and be split into a ghost and a human; if Jason went through the ghost catcher, he would straight up die.
(For my purposes I'm gonna say that Jason became an ectoplasmic entity upon his resurrection, but wasn't very stable. Dunking in the Lazarus pit stabilized his system but also poisoned his ectoplasm.)
I do think that Jason could learn certain ghost abilities if he learned to harness his ectoplasm, especially if they detoxed him off the Lazarus waters. He's probably already enhancing his stealth and strength in ways he hasn't really noticed. I think he's held back by the amount of physical matter he's lugging around, so maybe he couldn't fly, but I'm imagining temporary invisibility, or intagibility of like, a limb at a time. Maybe he can't walk through walls, but in a fight he can dodge by instinctively making the targeted part of his body intangible.

something so hauntological about watching mash season 3 knowing how it ends...none of the characters know henry's never going to make it home, the actors all found out in real time. but the narrative knows how this ends, and the narrative is waiting with an open mouth. so the narrative has henry prefigure his own death throughout the season. in o.r. when hawkeye reassures him one day you're gonna have to go back and die in your bed in bloomington, henry says that he's done that several times. he complains in private charles lamb that everything in this country disappears except me (untrue) followed by boy, would i like to wake up some morning, look down and find myself gone (true). when he gets trapped in the wreckage of the latrine in bombed he knocks twice for "dead" rather than three times for "alive." then there's the scene in the consultant where he soaks in the pool, calling it heaven but says the water could be just a titch warmer (burning burning burning), avoiding conversation with frank by submerging himself underwater. henry spends the whole season unknowingly rehearsing his impending death. he goes around camp trying on other people's deaths for size, haunting the narrative before he's even out of it.
in conclusion:

When I ship something with a huge size difference it's usually all about the inherent eroticism of that one picture of a hamster eating a banana
but with Chilchuck and Laios the appeal is more like... on all levels except physical, Laios is Chilchuck's dog.

Hello Nine I love your funny art and how you stylize the calcium boys! They are all so fun and cute and sexy and and AH I LOVE THEM ALL! 💙✨
I was wondering if you would like to share how you see differences between Cash and Money? I remember you saying somewhere that Cash lost his brother(?) that sound interesting and I'm really curious! And maybe how Cash/Money see others like you did with the Mutt/Pup differences if that's not too much! ... I'm feeling really nosey about Cash
WAAAH thank you so much!! 🥰💖💖💖
I'm surprised someone remembered! That's right, his brother is dead and it's the reason Cash ends up a self-serving scumbag; after all, there was nothing stopping him from becoming the worst version of himself. If it will benefit him he is 100% going to screw you over.
Money, on the other hand, may be greedy but is much more reasonable. Will he steal your wallet? Yes. But would he scam you??? ... also yes. Hahahaha where was I going with that. Nowhere. He's not as terrible, though.
I'd actually drawn what the dogs thought of Cash for that post as well, but I didn't include it so here it is...
I won't do the same thing for them, but here's another simple relationship chart instead. With Cash at the center, of course!
