Premise: AU where Tom is Lord Gaunt and is in a political marriage with Bellatrix Black. Things are okay for Bella until Harry James Potter graduates Hogwarts and becomes one of the Aurors in Tom's security detail. She just knows Potter isn't good news, but why doesn't her Lord understand that?

“Harry Potter, you are a fool -” Bella sneered, her voice dripping with contempt. She took a step forward, her body tensed with aggression. “Enough, Bella.” “A fool that has no idea of the powers that you meddle with. I will rip you apart, and leave you to die in a gutter like a mongrel dog!” “Bella.” “You cannot fathom my power, you cannot fathom the magic that flows through me, you cannot fathom what Dark Magic can do,” she continued, ignoring the warning. “Bella.” “There is no protection spell that can stop my wand!” “Bellatrix!” At her Lord husband’s exasperated shout, Bellatrix stopped at once. Her chest was heaving, as she stared into the mirror with wide resentful eyes. The reflection smirked back, as if taunting her for wasteful rehearsal screams. Lord Gaunt sat in the chaise at the back, his tall visage observing her through the mirror. ”You need to understand, my Lord,” she turned to face him, her body language defiant. “That half-blood Auror is nothing but trouble! I’ve seen the way he looks at you when your attention is elsewhere.” Lord Gaunt sighed, closing his eyes, fingers fiddling with the yew wood stick. “Please, Bella. Give the boy a break. Harry is a valuable member of my security detail. I shouldn’t have to remind you of this every other day,” he said, frustrated. Bella shook her head vehemently, her eyes blazing with conviction. “But he despises you, my Lord. I can feel it. He’s plotting against you.” Lord Thomas Marvolo Gaunt, the Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot, the Minister of Magic in Britain, and the Supreme Mugwump of the International Confederation of Wizards, was a very important, influential and powerful man. It also meant he was very busy and inevitably, ignorant of his non-significant surroundings. Bella’s lips curled in a sneer, but she didn’t dare to argue with her husband any further. Lord Gaunt was a man of immense power and influence, one of the most important figures in the Wizarding world. His word was law, and Bella knew better than to cross him. But the real source of her frustration was Harry Potter. The boy was young, fresh out of Hogwarts, godson to her blood traitor cousin Sirius. Son to the Blood traitor Potter and his filthy Mudblood wife. Hateful in all aspects.

Tom doesn’t talk in his sleep. They’ve been together for more than five years, and he’s very sure he doesn’t talk in his sleep.

“You do. Isn’t this fate? Me, on the peak of the summer heat. You,” and Harry smiles so sweetly at Tom, “In the cold of night, when the world is at peace and sleeping.”

Tom looks at his paper, and then Harry’s.

Eleven-fifty nine, born six months apart.

“Do you believe me?”

What Tom believes in, is that he loves Harry.

He searched between Voldemort’s eyes for the meaning. The hand on his hip dug into the bone and Harry tensed. He suddenly felt very helpless, a new kind of fear mounting. “You will stay,” growled Voldemort, and there was no trace of a plea now as he grabbed Harry’s jaw. Harry flinched back, angling his chin up in the older wizard’s grip, but maintained his silence. …“Why did you kill them?” Harry murmured the question again into his shoulder. He slid his knees up and wrapped his arms around them protectively, burying his mouth and nose against his arm. Through the darkness, his eyes traced the tasseled rope that tied the curtains back, feeling everything catching up to him. “It was about keeping people satisfied,” Voldemort finally said. Oh. Harry shut his eyes against such a simple, awful truth. The anger darkened, murderous. “It was violence,” Harry seethed, whipping around, uncaring that the man was sitting so close. “How is that satisfying?” Voldemort considered him for a long moment, watched him take shaking breaths through bared teeth. “I want to be violent with you, Harry Potter,” the Dark Lord whispered.

Voldemort crossed space to find Harry. Literally. Those snowflakes at the end of Entwined are forever in my mind, like a moving photograph.

Such wonderful characterization and story, of how they grow closer in their marriage. Voldemort is fantastically written.

A full 5k words of a hide and seek and chase scene, predator/prey of Harry trying to escape his snakey husband (they're married, your honour, Voldemort put a ring on it!) who enjoys the chase. The strategies Harry uses are so well-done and well thought of. The hiding and running are so well done and so wonderfully described in detail, I was holding my breath the entire time. How Harry hides and how intense it all is, and when Voldemort finds him it gets deliciously steamy. It ends with the married couple going back to bed with Vee holding Harry’s hand. There are even details about the current wizarding world sprinkled in how it is under Voldemort's rule. The best hide and seek Harrymort fic ever written. Wonderful one-shot.

This fic is the Harrymort treasure trove. The first chapter starts in the Malfoy Manor Scene and Voldemort manages to make it before Harry escapes. And Harry, the courageous, feral, favourite Gryffindor... punches the Dark Lord in the family jewels. The Heir of Slytherin sure won't be making any more Heirs of Slytherin now. xD If that doesn’t get you reading the fic, I don't know what will. It's a classic.

It has lore, it has great plot, side characters are interesting, it has magic, it has tension, Voldemort is a flirt, Harry is adorable when he blushes and his ears go all red, and my heart skips ten beats when I see an update e-mail on this fic because I am being fed very well.

Canon Divergence from 6th Year. Voldemort finds out Harry is his Horcrux after 5th Year and tells Harry he will come for him. Harry, bless his impulsive brain, leaves the safety of the wards and is captured and put into enchanted sleep. This is a Tomarrymort treasure trove.

Bring tissues for the sequel. You’ll need them.

Harry time travels and crashed into Voldemort’s home. He speaks Parseltongue so Voldemort assumes that Harry is his son. After all, only his heir could speak Parseltongue. Harry goes along with it. Daddymort is very touchy with his son and is also a big sugar daddy to him, and a SIMP to boot. Also, Abraxas is lucky to have Morgane as his wife. Morgane Malfoy, ladies and gentlemen, slays in this fic. Absolutely. Slays. Queen. Also, Bellatrix vying for Harry (I think she'll jump him at some point, actually physically jump on the poor lad) and Vee being jealous and possessive is hilarious. A detail I love in the fic are the wizarding clothes, I love their descriptions.
