"that was weak," he says, before pressing his lips more firmly against yours, your eyes fluttering shut while he walks you backwards to the nearest tree. your back hits it with a quiet thud and his free hand soon comes to rest above your head while his other still held yours, effectively pinning you against it.

Parallel Scars AU

Of all of my current AUs ideas, the one I'm currently the most obsessed about is the one about Vee and Hunter escaping Belos's grasp, surviving together while avoiding the emperor's coven capture, and going practically feral as a result of all the trauma and stress. Forming a bond so strong that they understand one another without any words, like just looking at each other's eyes is enough for them to communicate.

And with feral and I mean their personalities are split between:

-kids who only want to be kids

-Explore and discover the wonders of the world!

-Spent a whole day in the library studying and learning for Fun!

-Maybe have ice cream instead of lunch.

Meanwhile, the other half is entirely dedicated to:

-I want to LIVE

-Animalistic Survival Instincts

-"They have seen too much... I'm gonna throw them to the sea"

-Mental list of the most effective ways to kill somebody

-If you touch them they bite, HARD

The amount of possibilities this premise presents is making me go crazy! Like, just think about it!

How will Hunter find Vee? Maybe a young Hunter accidentally finds the entrance to the labs and sees what his uncle has done to the basilisk, meets a young Vee and bonds with her, and every once in a while to goes down to see her? or maybe... the basilisks has already escaped and during his first mission, still unaware of Belos's experimentations on them, he encounters Vee and tries to help her.

What would Darius and Raine do about this? Hunter would possess critical information that could assure Belos's downfall. So makes sense they may try to get him to their side. But... reasonably Hunter doesn't want anything to do with the coven, much less if it may put Vee in danger. So he would keep his distance.

Where are they hiding? inside Hexide's walls? an abandoned cabin somewhere in the woods? or just straight out a nomadic lifestyle, exploring the titan in hopes of finding a perfect place to settle?

What about Luz? if she is around during all of this? Honestly, I have no idea, haven't decided exactly when this is going to take place. Maybe a year before her arrival? a couple months? So when Luz passes throught the portal both Vee and Hunter go to the human realm and meet Camila! that sounds like a good ending...

And what if Belos makes another Grimwalker to replace Hunter? What happened to the other basilisks? Haven't throught of those either...

context for the 3rd image: both @autumn-sweet-fae and i are dnd nerds and so after Everything everyone sit together and play a game of dnd (except for blaze for like a year or so bc he dipped to work at as an international police to avoid mint like the coward he is). In the past, Drayden used to DM for the boys and the two played twin clerics of the Mighty Thomarus the God of Safe Travels, Engineering and Invention. And so in the present, Drayden DMs again while Ingo gets to refresh his memories on the rules, and later he takes over the DM’s seat✨ Ingo is the type of DM to voice act all the NPCs but his face is entirely straight (so imagine Ingo with his old man frown going “Thank you so much for saving my partners from those terrible terrible people…” in like, a little girls voice) At the table were Akari, Iris, Emmet, Mint and Lady Sneasler with Akane (Akari’s Zoroark, we changed it bc it fits more than Marshmallow) as translator. Chandelure is the mood light <3

also, there are modules written based on each different region, and cameo gym leaders and champions. So when Akari returns from Hisui there is definitely a module written based on her adventures, and they are all super hyped to try that one out.

So, back to Mint; They would totally play a bard. College of tragedy for the extra dramatic effect, paired with a Very Tragic backstory: parents were killed in this horrible accident that was in some ironic way their own fault, as well as a love that was never meant to be (NPC cleArly modeled after blaze). Later, when Blaze joins the game, Mint totally forgot about that part until the NPC shows up again and both are equally embarrassed about it. When asked if they could retcon that part out of the story Ingo just goes “haha, no :)” and the twins totally lean into the whole conflict with the NPC lol

As for Blaze, he’d be the type to lean into the combat and tactics of the game unlike Mint, so wizard would fit him in that regard ✨ (complicated spells go brrrr) necromancers plays into his aesthetic and so he’d pair it up with flowers. ((maybe he gets to play the NPC for a lovers to enemies to lovers story hMM

Aomomo headcanons because I love fluff and am not ashamed of it. Also when I say Aomomo I mean as best friends but idc. You can see it as romance.

As we know, Momoi is absolutely shit at cooking. Therefore, for both of their sanity and health, Aomine had to learn to cook. He's pretty good but always uses a bit too much spice. Momoi doesn't mind. Sometimes she asks for cutesy foods. Most of the time he refuses because that's for kids, but sometimes when she's had a bad day he'll make her bunny apples and sakura-shaped stuff.

When they're in the same room, they just naturally gravitate towards each other. Half of the time, it's intentional, but the other half, they just find themselves shoulder to shoulder without noticing nor knowing how they got there. For an outsider it can be confusing or funny to watch (Too's team thinks it's pretty funny and will sometimes put some minor obstacles between them just to see them unconsciously side-step the obstacles to, again unconsciously, get to each other. Sometimes they get called magnets because of that)

So fucking protective of each other. That's something you wouldn't necessarily guess bc Aomine doesn't looks like he cares and Momoi looks exasperated with him half the time. But if you touch one of them, the other will literally destroy you and it will have devastating long-lasting effects and yet you will have zero proof of anything.

They cut each other's hair :)

Literally zero physical boundaries between them. They're super touchy and sort of never got that cuddling in public is weird. A good side of this is that it deters their respective admirers.

Aomine knows how to braid hair because of/for Momoi and will never admit it even under torture.

When they get ice cream they always take a lick of each other's ice cream first. At some point they tried to pick out weird flavors to gross each other out but they both ended up disgusted and with ice cream on their noses. Win-win.

When they were kids, Aomine called Momoi moon-related nicknames, in revenge for her calling him Dai-chan. Cause of the Tsuki in Satsuki. When he became taller and she didn't, he teasingly called her "little moon". He doesn't really do that anymore but sometimes, when he's sleepy or tired or overexcited he'll let slip a "little moon", "moonlight", or "Lua". It's a bit embarrassing for him, but Momoi thinks it's very cute (except the little moon one. I'm not short, Dai! Uh, yes you are, Satsuki)

They basically share Momoi's parents since Aomine only has his dad and his dad is shitty. At least half of Aomine's weeks are spent sleeping at Momoi's home (it's his home too at this point, he even has a room).

Momoi felt very weird when the boys in school went from accepting her into their basket teams to rejecting her because she was a girl to ogling her because she had curves. She really appreciates how Aomine has always behaved the same with her - he didn't treat her differently despite the fact that her body had changed and she's grateful for that. She's really pretty, and the stares and catcalls can get a bit much.

Aomine could not get anywhere without Momoi because he never remembers which train or bus to take to go anywhere. He could take the wrong one on accident and end up in the opposite part of Tokyo (and did so once, in fact. It was pretty comical. It's not that he has a poor sense of direction, it's actually pretty good, he just never remembers which bus is his.)

Aomine has ADHD and Momoi is autistic. They are neurodivergent solidarity and help each other deal with overstimulation and other complicated situations! Momoi gives Aomine her class notes and he sometimes talks to people in her stead when she doesn't wants to talk.

Also they're both learning sign language for when Momoi goes non-verbal for a while. Surprisingly, Aomine's pretty good at it.

Aomine's dad is from Brazil, so Aomine knows portuguese. Momoi does too, because she's known him forever and thought learning another language would be super cool. So now they kinda have their own secret language (because nobody speaks Portuguese around here) and when they master sign language it'll be two secret languages!

Not really a headcanon I guess, but the image of kids Aomine and Momoi dancing and singing together is just pure serotonin.

Oh, Finnegan. Buckle up cause this is gonna be an essay.

- Finnegan Vanhorn was born the younger son to a rather afluent family alongside his sister, Lydia. Though she did her best to spend time with him, he's spent most of his years as a kid alone due to neglect. This spurred into a habit of him sneaking out to do what he pleased. He eventually picked up a job as a... Well, he calls himself a monster hunter to put it shortly, but he was an agent of a government initiative made to combat the influx of monsters and criminals in his home city.

(This itteration is mainly based off a different one in another RP, an esper that goes by "the Timekeeper". But he has bits of every itteration weaved into him.)

- He eventually took up learning about the multiverse and began brainstorming a device that would help him traverse through reality plenums by harnessing the mana that attracted said monsters. Mind you, he started when he was thirteen. It took years to perfect the technology. He dubbed it the Syllogis.

- During his travels he'd cross paths with a witch named Oliver, his best friend. The two had stuck by each other ever since.

- You may catch mentions of "Project Bronze", or see Finn get called that. The details are still vague as hell, perhaps intentionally. If Finn had any memories of whatever experiments he had to endure, there'd be nothing but fog.

(When I said he had other itterations weaved in him, that wordplay is intentional. He's said to be tied with many, MANY, MANY, other versions of himself, along with a few of the people he knows now. Man's had dreams and nightmares of what those versions had to go through before. I even joked about him not actually being human. There is a hypothetical conspiracy board.)

- He didn't start out with a profile, only as an anon nicknamed Clock Anon. He first popped up on Janurary 12th of last year.

- Finn ended up leaving his home reality to live with his current boyfriend, their one-year anniversary coming up next month. Boucheron gets flustered really easily. It’s hard for you to not tease him constantly about it. He just looks so cute with a red face, how could you not!

The subject of PDA in general makes him a bit of a blushing mess, as he can be kinda oblivious….

For instance, when you first started showing interest you’d often sneakily try moves on him…

“Oh Boucheron! You have some leaves in your hair, here let me get that for you!” You’d say getting very close to his face in the process.

“Gosh my ankle is really sore after that training session, do you think you could carry me to the infirmary?”

“Brrrr, it’s really cold out tonight, think I could borrow your jacket?”

Small things like that! And of course he never picked up on your hints, simply thinking you were being a good friend and needed his help on certain occasions. So, when he found out about your feelings, he was quite embarrassed he didn’t pick up on the clues earlier.

Now, when you do similar things while in a relationship he’s a bit more flustered in public. Knowing your romantic intent can make him remember how dumb he was in those moments. Obviously, what you love to tease him about the most!

It’s all in good fun, he really doesn’t mind. If it makes you happy to see him tripping over his words, while you laugh away, he’d gladly play the fool any given day.

Speaking of, he loves your laugh. It’s so beautiful and angelic. Like a choir of a thousand echoing stars. He’s found himself mesmerised by it more than once. Why he could nearly cry, upon hearing it.

So, he tries to make you laugh as much as possible. He finds tickling your sides to be most effective, but you tend to try to fight back in those moments. You’d never be able to overpower him, but he lets you think you’ve won every once in a while.

You’re really impressed by his strength though. He’s so tall compared to you, and he can pick you up like you weigh nothing! It’s incredible and again, gets quite a few giggles out of you when he does it.

Especially after you’ve been away from each other for a while and when you finally reunite again, he picks you up and twirls you around. It makes you so happy to enjoy those moments with your lover. Knowing he missed you so much and wants the world to see how much he loves you. He often cries on moments like those.

He relies on you whenever you go places with one another. Literally he’s lost without you. He gets completely turned around, so he’s lucky he has you to help keep him on track. He cannot fathom how you are able to remember all of the twists and turns in the market square, forest, and even sometimes the somniel! So he’s very grateful you share your tips on remembering your steps. He thinks his sense of direction has improved a bit since he started dating you.

Because of moments like that I think that he has the habit of losing things easily. It’s not that he doesn’t remember where he put it, it’s that he doesn’t remember how to get back to the place he put it haha! So you have definitely saved him a few times by bringing him said objects he had left behind.

And after a long day, of fishing, training, and looking after the prince, there’s nothing more relaxing then cuddling with you as he reads his favorite book before bed. Although you have had to pry the book from him on quite a number of occasions as it seems to make him cry instead of wind down for bed. Instead, you offer for him to run his fingers through your hair as you drift off in his strong, yet gentle embrace…with him following not too long afterwards :)

he's tried to quit drinking. several times in fact. but every time, he found himself missing the beautiful colours that came with it, and he became unable to ignore his path in the history of his family, and he couldn't help but remember all the times he'd failed before, and he just... couldn't. so he fell back into drinking, and he fell back into his work.

but he's trying. he's trying really hard. and he's gotten a little better because of it.

it got easier, once he had others to fall back on. he's got people to talk to, people who will understand and try their best to help; he owes his life to his teammates, and loves them dearly.

also ngl im not entirely sure how ponks tree works with the healing kekw i am. literally making this shit up as i go. it definitely nullifies some of the harming effects of healing, though - its like.... mmmm this isnt a perfect metaphor but like if you gotta sustain a certain amount of burns (we're in saw, i guess???? not like... killer burns. like 20 first degree burns.) and you can choose between burning only half your body or all of it, its gonna be way more damaging to put it on half because now HALF your body is out of commission. if you spread it out over the rest of your body, its still gonna fuckin suck, but it's not condensed yknow? so when ponk heals without his tree, its like putting all those burns on half his body, but when he heals with it, its all over, and he has the added bonus of like.... default dissociation with half of the burns since he isn't actively in his tree all the time. his tree takes on some of the damage.

okay so ponk healed gumi's back. she

set and healed bones - broken and chipped

healed muscle

restored skin

treated burns

pushed out remaining shrapnel (which she isnt aware of)

(gumi's injury was nasty and it fucking sucked, but she was stable. if ponk had the equipment and the confidence, they could've fixed her up without healing her, but it would've left her incapacitated for so long that even if ponk thought they were capable of healing her manually, she would've been sorted into the "heal with ability" category. like.... it was BAD, but due to gumi's own regenerative abilities, it wasn't life threatening with proper treatment.)

in the next chapter ponk wakes up with a MASSIVE headache and she feels scorched out. like, it fucking sucks, and she's going to be fatigued and have some fairly bad headaches for a week or so, but it'll be manageable.

if he hadn't had his tree, he would've been completely incapacitated for over a week. (cannot elaborate for plot >:(((.) his healing is essentially just ...giving, so it takes a while for him to get himself back.

and thats an injury that technically wasnt life threatening :D velvet got it bad :D
