I get the idea, but I still think it’s kind of messed up to keep him stuffed instead of giving him a proper burial!🦅

This might be thought of as a rude question, but I have to ask. How much are you being paid? How much is your salary..?! Inns aren't cheap, but surely a valued asset such as yourself is being rewarded with enough that a night's stay won't put a dent in your post-Heart's Day Heart's Day celebrations?! Responding in drakes is absolutely fine, considering some Mer may not know how to do currency conversion - or as we call it, conMersion - in their head.
Trying to convert into Imperial currency started a very strange adventure which ended with a long interview with the Bureau of Weights, Measures, and Extra-Dominion Trade who wanted to know why I wanted to know. Was I engaging in an an un-authorized cross-border business venture without paying taxes? It took a long while to convince them I was just curious and even longer when the official on duty believed me and then gave me a lesson in currency fluctuations in Tamriel.
Anyhow, I don't know where you got the idea that I was a valued asset to the Dominion. I suppose the Dominion does value the service of all its people, but it's taken for granted that everyone does their duty by serving and I'm not a battlemage or a skilled scout or anything interesting. I get paid five true gold Eagles a week, which may not seem very much, but I don't pay for my room or board in the army, so I end up with more money than I need. I send a quarter of my pay to my parents. It's a small sum but it's a token of respect and I hope they use it on small comforts like fancy teas and candles. One day, I would like to give them much more.
The truth about the inn is Firion will be paying most of the bill. My comrade said, "isn't that humiliating? Here you are a warrior of Summerset, relying on the charity of a Bosmer girl." And I said no, I am not letting myself feel humiliated by our narrow ideas of pride anymore. Firion doesn't want to stay in the type of place I could afford on my own, so why shouldn't she spend her money on something better? I'm still paying what I can, and one day, my fortunes may improve and if she tragically lost her family fortune (which will never happen) I would happily pay for her.

#TLSF LOG: Recovered this in a muddy creek near a Chinese railroad worker site…thought it was another pull tab at first, or like a grey goose wrapper or something. It’s very bendy, like foil , but untarnished…it didn’t come up silver …more like a white gold. There seems to be some hallmark, going to have to go in for a closer look. The bird… perhaps an Eagle 🦅 ? Kinda reminds me of the Eagle on the 1859 penny… Best case scenario it a 1860 white gold ring? 🤔🤷🏾‍♂️ #TwinLakesSilverFrontier #silver #gold #bird #eagle #metaldetecting #treasurehunting #history #jewelry #coins #1800s https://www.instagram.com/p/CmIpandrpPn/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

This deep dive is a payment to my friend Bri @briislame, May you look up and find Zeus looking down with smiles.
~I use resources, I do not own the info, and most deep dives have UPG (that I use in my work.) And I only take some information from sources. I am 14, this is my hobby, I am learning but I spent many hours and days on this, and I am always open to criticism. I have been doing worship for 5 years. Please know you can use the info, I do not sue, but I will take action if this work is used without permission and not put as a resource if used in any work. without permisson and not put as a resource if used in any work, for the public.
