"Rin...could you like move it?" (Y/n) wondered as she tried to move past the boy, but he would just follow her steps and block her from moving any further.

"Give me those boxes! I will bring it to the team. I heard the national team is pretty aggressive." Rin said, trying to grab the box from (Y/n), but she moved away.

"Ego-san told me to bring it to the coach of the team. Rin, you are being rediculous and should go back to training. You will get punished." (Y/n) argued as she moved away, the boy kept on nervously looking around, as if he was praying that someone wouldn't come. Growing worried, the girl's glare softened and she looked at Rin more calmly now.

"What's wrong? You seem to be on edge ever since the national team arrived. Did your brother say something?"

"You know Sae?" Rin asked, alarmed by (Y/n) mentioning him.

'Did they meet? Did he somehow get a hold of her social media?!'

"Well from the news and you told me once you don't have the best of relationship with him." (Y/n) explained simply.

"So you don't know him more than that? Like on a personal level?" Rin asked cautiously, confusing (Y/n) even more.

"No? You do realize your brother has been in Spain the whole time and I am in Japan. Are you sure you don't need to visit a doctor, Rin?" The boy let out a sigh as (Y/n) used the opportunity and walked past him towards the quarters the U-20 team was settled in.

"Wait!" Rin ran after her as (Y/n) sighed, annoyed with his behavior.

'It isn't even noon yet...'

"So these are the papers I will sign? Did Teieri-san or Ego-san say till when?" The coach of the national team asked (Y/n), who nodded her head.

"They will need the papers back by tonight. Please keep the copies just in case, also I was instructed to explain how the computer system works here..."

Rin tuned out their talking and kept look around the hall nervously, hoping that she will be done soon.

'Please hurry up... if (Y/n) even throws one look at Sae, I know I am done for. All the girls like him, so why would it be different this time.' Rin sighed as he watched the girl write down the instructions.

'She always looks cute while explaining things to someone... My manager-'

"Yo, Sae! Isn't that your little brother?" A voice came from behind the now frozen boy.

'Crap!'

"Rin? What are you doing here?" Sae asked calmly as he and Sendo approached the younger Itoshi. Rolling his eyes, Rin calmed down and turned around to face the duo.

"Hi big brother, I am just here... delivering papers to your coach."

"You are delivering papers? Shouldn't you be training?" Sae wondered.

"Yeah, otherwise you won't be able to catch up to your brother or me." Sendo added.

"What a tragedy-"

"Alrigh Rin, we are done here! Ready to go?" The boy bit back a few curse words as he heard (Y/n) approach them. The older Itoshi and Sendo turned their attention back on (Y/n).

"Yeah, let's go. I am sure Ego-san will need you for something." Rin said as he grabbed her sleeve, but he was of course stopped by none other than Sendo.

"Hey wait! Don't you want to introduce us, Rin? Who is this cutey?"

The two stopped in their tracks and turned to look at the grinning boy, while Sae kept staring at her without saying a single word.

"Sure..." Rin said bitterly.

"Sweet! The name is Sendo Shuto, and yours?"

"(L/n) (Y/n)... nice to meet you." The girl said cautiously, a little bit unnerved by his smirk.

"Great! Can we go now-" Rin was again interrupt, but this time by his brother.

"Itoshi Sae, from the looks of it you are the manager of my little brother's team." Sae said, pointing at the badge. (Y/n) nodded her head, feeling a little bit more at ease with Sae than Sendo, but still kept her guard up.

"Yep! It's nice to meet Rin's brother. I heard a lot of you from the news and such."

Rin perked up at the way she had addressed Sae, since not a lot of people would call him Rin's brother, it was always the other way around. Sae noticed that too, and the way she was so nonchalant with him was off putting too. A lot of girls wished to be in your position.

"Did you hear of me too? I am our nation's star ace striker after all."

(Y/n) kept quiet as the gears in her head started turning a little, hoping that the name might come to her head. Meanwhile Rin was basking at the fact that this time, this one time Sae won't take something from him.

'Finally, she doesn't see him as the mighty Itoshi Sae, but as Rin's older brother. That felt good to hear.'

Sae meanwhile kept quiet, observing the girl and then his brother, who was sending him a victorious smirk.

"Sorry, never heard of you." (Y/n) spoke up, causing Sendo to deflate a little.

"Bit I trust you if you say that you are the star striker. Anyways, it was nice meeting you all, but Rin and I have to go. Good luck with the practice."

Just as (Y/n) said that, the younger Itoshi grabbed her wrist and tugged her away.

"Everyone is Blue Lock is a freak. How can it be that she never heard of me?" Sendo frowned as he looked at (Y/n)'s form before she disappeared.

"Let's go, Sae."

The said boy nodded his head quietly, new forms of interest and curiosity forming inside of him.

'What a weird girl... I wonder if she has any social media. Can't believe she called me Rin's older brother just like that.'

Meanwhile Rin was over the moon, happy that he didn't lose (Y/n) to his brother or his teammate. Honestly, he felt like proposing to her the moment she humbled both his brother and Sendo.

'What a day... a great day.' Rin sighed with one of his rare smiles.

"Are you alright, Rin? You seem a lot more cheerful now than 10 minutes ago." (Y/n) questioned.

"Yes! Never felt better, actually." The boy said quickly.

"There they are! Kunigami, Isagi look!" The two boys turned to look at the direction (Y/n) was pointing.

"I hope they aren't too nervous... I remember how you two were nearly jumping in excitement during your first official Bastard München match." (Y/n) laughed, remembering that day fondly as the two boys blushed in embarrassment.

"Well, this is a huge thing. And the stadium is full of Ubers fans cheering them on, too." Kunigami said, leaning against the railing as he stood to (Y/n)'s left side.

"I am glad we got these VIP tickets tho, it's less crowded." Isagi agreed from (Y/n)'s right side.

"Well being part of the Bastard München team is quite the privilege. I hope Noel-san will let us go watch the Manshine match too. Nagi said they will be playing against a big club from England." (Y/n) said absent-mindedly as Baro, Aryu and Niko ran to here they were.

"(Y/n), you made it... and you two too. I honestly thought you guys will be busy training." Niko said, sounding a little bitter that she was with Isagi and Kunigami. It just kept reminding him that she picked working with them over him.

"And miss our friends play? Never." Kunigami said with a smirk.

"Besides, today is our day off." Idmsagi shrugged.

"You guys look amazing! I hope you all aren't too nervous, in a crowd like this anything can be overwhelming!" (Y/n) said as Aryu sighed at her caring words.

"Nothing to worry about. With our skills, this game will be over pretty soon. I get even better." Baro said proudly, staring directly at (Y/n), who nodded her head.

"I am sure you all will do amazing! I can't wait till it starts! The uniforms look good on you guys too."

The last part caused the trio to blush as they nervously thanked her.

'She is just as sweet as I remember. I hope that German water won't ruin her hair though, my manager should never have an ugly hairday.' Aryu thought as he thanked (Y/n) for the compliment.

"Th-thanks... you look good too." Niko said nervously back, eyeing the girl a little.

'So cute! I really envy the Bastard München team for being able to see her like this everyday...'

"Well, don't pay too much attention to the uniforms. You will not be able to keep up with my attacks and scores." Baro said to the girl.

"I will keep that in mind, king." (Y/n) teased, not knowing how flustered the nickname coming from her made Baro feel.

"Ahh they are at it again." Snuffy chuckled as him and Lorenzo watched the trio talk with the other Blue Lock members.

"They are close friends, I am guessing." Lorenzo stated with a raised eyebrow.

"They are more simps than anything. It was fun to watch them react to Oliver pestering the girl for a date." Snuffy laughed, remembering Baro kicking the football right into the said boy's head during practice once.

"She didn't agree to date him? That's a first."

Series synopsis: You, Claire (@deerangle3) and Mao (me) are assistants in the Neo Egoist League

-Kaiser and Isagi were fighting about which of them gets to sit next to you the entire time before getting on the bus. Ness really wanted to sit next to you as well, but he kept argumenting why Kaiser should get to sit next to you

-instead of fighting about it, Hiori asked you very nicely so he got to sit next to you!!

-Kaiser and Isagi were both very disappointed. Also, Claire and Mao kept making fun of them for being massive simps

-once you're at the beach, Kaiser offers to put sunscreen on you. Isagi does the same. They end up getting lost in ANOTHER fight so you just end up doing it by yourself

-they always get so lost in their fights about who gets to be close to you and Ness always joins to help Kaiser, so you end up being with Hiori most of the time. Unless Kaiser and Isagi get themselves together and act like normal people for once

-Kaiser is SUCH A DRAMA QUEEN. Complains about how hot it is and requires Ness to remind him when it's time to reapply sunscreen

-Kaiser gets water in his eyes ONCE and makes a really big deal out of it

-you have to calm him down and comfort him until his eyes stop burning. Then he starts using that as an advantage and gets water in his eyes multiple times because he knows you'll come to comfort him when he does

-Hiori doesn't go into the water most of the time. He's just sitting under a parasol to hide from the burning sun. He's either napping or watching you and the others

-you do convince him to join a little, though. Just swimming around and having a nice time!!!

-also Noa avoids being in the sun at all costs because as much sunscreen as he applies, he gets sunburnt VERY easily

-Kunigami doesn't go swimming either. He's just waiting for the day to be over

-Kurona acts as if he's a shark and tries to attack you many times. It turns into a fun game between the two of you!! You simps get jealous, tho

-Mao hates the beach, sand and saltwater, so she's either carried by Raichi or sitting on Gagamaru's shoulders the entire time. Raichi throws her into the water once tho. After that, she stays on Gagamaru's shoulders the entire time (probably getting an awful sunburn on the back as well)

-Claire is busy bullying Igaguri half of the time. The other half she's busy simping for Yukimiya

-Claire pushes Igaguri under the water and then she complains about how she "had to touch him"

-usually, Raichi and Claire don't like each other but when it comes to bullying Igaguri, they're happily working together

-you join to the Igaguri bullying as well. Cause. He kinda deserves it. Also, it's funny. Noa isn't that amazed by it, though

Only Friends Behind the Scenes Ep 7

The biggest takeaway this week is that @shortpplfedup is right about Top. Jojo comments that Top is sad now because he is an underdog. I also liked Book talking through the mental steps he went through for Mew in deciding to burn that artwork and how he enjoyed trying to hurt Top.

Force is also so funny. I love his confidence and his spirit.

If you'll allow me a moment of simping, we should talk about Book's thighs more.

I also enjoyed First and Khaotung making fun of Ray still looking cool even though he crashed his car. They looked really satisfied with their partnered work this week.

It's fascinating seeing the poolside fight with Top from a crew perspective because Khaotung continues to maintain Ray's drunken miscoordination the whole time, while Neo maintains Boston's tendency to stand outside of this drama.

The timing of the pool kick is actually kind of incredible because Book has to jump after Neo immediately. I enjoyed the cast joking about the scene afterward. Neo suggested he deserves an award and he is CORRECT. Khaotung and Lookjun jokingly fist pumping for Mew was also great.

This cast clearly enjoyed this project a lot.

Once again no Mark in the BTS this week. Jojo, please show me my boy!

I’ve been salivating for this man since Not Me. I suffered through The Shipper for this man. It’s not just his beautiful handsome gorgeous self that does it for me, its also his charm. Like he’s so charming and has this aura about him that’s just warm and homey. His smile is like the most beautiful smile I’ve ever seen. His eyes are just so sparkly and beautiful, if I ever meet him irl I’d probably trip over myself getting lost in them. I understand Khaotung not wanting to share him with anyone because I would do the same.

Bright - Yai (I Feel You Linger In The Air)

He’s so handsome I can cry. This man is like Jam x2. Like he has such a perfect face for male lead in romance genre. Where has he been all my life?? Maybe its Yai the character that feeds my deluluism, but when General Yai popped up in ifylita with a freakin porn stache and I wasn’t immidiately appalled, I knew I was a goner.

Neo - Boston (Only Friends)

Neo has always been cute to me. Catches my eye in every series he’s in but then Only Friends happened AND I WAS FLOORED!!! It was like ya know when you enter your teen years and that cute person you’ve grown up with had a growth spurt and you’re like daaaang when did you get hot 👀 Yeah that’s me with Neo.

Ohm Pawat - Pat (Bad Buddy)

Reo asks for your help very rarely because he knows how much work you do for Nagi. But he loves it when you spend time with the team after your working hours. Reo likes to get your attention only on him instead of any other team members. Besides Nagi, you're his favourite person in the entirety of Blue Lock and he makes sure you know that.

Chigiri thanks you for your work every time he sees you. He wants you to know how much he appreciates you and everything you do. You're always unsure if he's simply thanking and complimenting you, or if there's more behind it. There definitely is more behind it, though. Sometimes his tone gets a bit flirty.

Junichi and Mao are seen together a weird amount of times, and you always wonder how they even became friends. But maybe it's because she's the only one who properly understands him even when he doesn't talk.

Can you even imagine the chaos of having both Kaiser and Isagi simping for you? They're either constantly fighting for your attention or yelling at each other for "giving you too much work." It's a fun disaster to watch, though. Also cute at the same time because even though they're insulting each other, they're saying very sweet things about you.

Ness often joins Kaiser when he's argumenting with Isagi, but besides that, he's very sweet towards you. Rarely asks for help, but if he does it's for Kaiser because when it comes to easy things he's too stubborn to ask by himself. Ness is also a joy to talk to outside of your working hours! He's a very good listener and loves listening to you talk about anything you want.

Hiori doesn't need your assistance often, but he's always looking forward to spending time with you after your working hours. He appreciates your work a lot, but he wants to get to know you closer as a person. He absolutely loves it when you tell stories about your life outside of Blue Lock because it takes his mind off of soccer for a bit.

Claire won Yukimiya's heart after the first week and now they're almost inseparable. Yukimiya almost never asks for your or Mao's assistance, only for Claire's. But him asking for help is fairly rare anyways because he doesn't want to be a bother by putting extra work on any of you. Although, he asks a lot of questions to get to know you better.

Raichi became Mao's bodyguard after Kaiser insulted her for "being bad at her work" when she didn't immediately run to him. And now, she's not getting rif of Raichi anymore, especially if Kaiser is near. She's not complaining about it, tho.

Gagamaru got interested in being friends with Mao because she's so small and it reminded him of Naruhaya. He likes to tease her about her height and she often climbs on his back or even shoulders so he has to carry her around. He goes along with it, but Noa isn't a fan of it if it's happening during her working hours.

Kurona can't explain why, but he loves having Mao around. Sometimes he braids a part of her hair like his own so their hairstyles match! Sometimes, they kinda come off like siblings.

Birkenstock and Mao becoming close friends was a surprise to everyone. He doesn't exactly participate in any group hangouts, and in general, he's more of a silent guy. But somehow, Mao got his interest and she's always happy to assist if needed.

my first creation this year is pretty little flowers, i think. it's a sunghoon hanahaki!au excerpt from a larger fic i had been working on, but then gave up completing, as always. i think i like it a lot.

moments like these. my latest creation! i don't have much to say about it haha honestly i wrote so many different stuff this year that my brain just can't think of more words to write but yeah say olé for jay fluff.

one of your favorite creations of 2022:

rain again. it's a gaon fic and it's one of my favourites to come out of this year. it's a little out there in terms of plot, but it's so comforting for me personally. it was a cathartic experience, writing this, and i just adore the concept of self here.

honorable mention: try again. i was in a slump and decided to make myself feel better by writing this comfort fic. it's a little personal, just like rain again, so i guess that's why i hold this dear to my heart.

one creation you're really proud of:

les mur des j'taimes. me writing this was all spontaneous after i'd visited paris this year haha. i love how sweet and overall wholesome jungwon is in this one.

a creation that took you forever:

when flowers wilt on the 21st of march... don't even get me started on this fic. i despise and adore it to my core. i hope it burns, but also, yeonjun, jay, and heather are everything to me. i have such personal connections with these characters. i cried even thinking about the ending, because it hurt me to hurt them. that's part of the reason why i can't bring myself to finish the other half of it.

The Good and Bad of The Eclipse

SPOILER WARNING.

Disclaimer: I want to give a preface here and say that while it looks like there's more bad than good, there's really not. The good overcame the bad for the most part with this show (as you can see by the amount I wrote under each bullet).

The Good

Neo. My first encounter with Neo was FUTS. Back then, I didn't think much of him. I mean, I knew he was a somewhat decent actor, but the style of FUTS didn't quite lend itself to showcasing his skill. Then I watched Tonhon Chonlatee. I started to notice his versatility. Duean was a straightforward guy: he see Meen, he simp for Meen, he confused as to why he simp for Meen. Na was a little more interesting. He had feelings for Chon, but he also had the wherewithal to understand that those feelings weren't reciprocated. He had a level of emotional complexity that allowed him to recognize when enough was enough despite his beating heart. But Khan? Khan took the bare bones of Duean and the emotional maturity of Na and moved it forward (hi Eren!). Neo was able to capture the feeling of falling in love with someone unexpected while struggling to come to terms with what that feeling means with incredible subtlety. Each time Khan hung out with Thua, a new emotion developed within Khan toward Thua. I'm never one to harp on the way a person looks at another person but that thing that Mork does to Phi in FUTS, Khan did to Thua but with 5 other emotions attached to it. There wasn't just love/lust in those looks, there was longing, fear, adoration, and doubt. You could see how tortured Khan felt inside even if he never vocalized it. All of this showed the talent and potential of Neo who was perfectly casted in this role.

FirstKhao. Oh boy, where do I start? Well, I guess I can say that First is one of the best actors GMMTV has to offer. He plays sadness and contemplation so well, it's no wonder he was selected to play Akk. While I did see some areas of improvement for First (namely any time Akk had to be rude to another character/reject Ayan), when he's good, he's great. The moments that best exemplify this to me in The Eclipse include whenever Ayan gets all up in Akk's space. You can visibly see the butterflies fluttering around Akk when Ayan approaches. And I've said this before but First is another one of those actors who can create chemistry out of thin air. When he played opposite Ohm / Fluke in The Shipper, you got that. When he played opposite Gawin in Not Me, you got that. And now that he's playing opposite his best friend, you get it even more. He and Khao are so perfect next to each other that it's hard to understand why this pairing hadn't happened sooner. As for Khao I wasn't initially as sold on him as I was First. I had seen him in Tonhon Chonlatee, 2gether, and 1000 Stars and, while I was fine with his acting, I wasn't 100% sold on him particularly as a lead in a romance. But The Eclipse really made a believer out of me. I want to be clear that I don't think chemistry is a huge problem with Khaotung, as he had smooth chemistry with Podd in Tonhon, but it was something about the way he acted outside of the romance itself that bothered me. It was like I couldn't feel the chemistry between Ton and Chon linger once Tonhon (played by Pod) left the screen. It's like when Chon (played by Khao) was with his friends or alone, I never got from Khao's acting that his character was deeply in love. Despite the fact that much of Chon's story outside of scenes with Ton was about Ton, and many of his scenes were crafted to convince you that Chon was head over hills for Ton (see the shrine scenes), I didn't really feel like Chon actually loved Ton when they were apart. Yet, when Ayan is away from Akk, you get the sense that what he feels for Akk endures. So, again, I wonder how much of these developments are Khao's growth as an actor and how much is a result of writing/directing. Either way, Khao made me a believer in The Eclipse and I'm interested to see where he goes next from here (hopefully a post-apocalyptic survivor role!).

The Bad

The World Remembers gang. Just why? Their roles weren't acting well and the antics got stale after the first time they pulled something. I didn't know much about them besides that they hated school uniforms?? And also they're gay but like...that's not a personality trait lmao. Their scenes just prolonged an already needlessly convoluted plot.

The final act / the Teacher Dika story. I- Look, GMMTV is great at starting an intriguing story and landing so poorly. I don't think I cared about this plot line for one second after like Episode 4. If they wanted to do the thriller/politicking/intrigue thing, they should've watched seasons 1-4 of Game of Thrones (or something similar) first because they dropped the ball here. I mean, every competent writer knows that the key point to any story (especially a political thriller!!) is to be entertaining first. Make shit happen! Make us care about said shit! Make said shit logical/reasonable within the bounds of the story world! Don't just throw in character motivations out of nowhere or reiterate a character's position needlessly, or drag out every single plot twist. It just gets boring and confusing after the first couple of missteps.

The slow burn. After awhile it was just like how in the fuck is Akk still denying his feelings for Ayan? It was like they'd take one step forward and two steps back which just pissed me off.

The runtime. Really this show could've ran ~8 episodes and nothing would have been lost. The story was not tight and had a lot of threads that weren't exactly extraneous but also weren't interesting.
