No matter how independent I am and how much I love being single, there will always be a small part of me that will miss having a partner. There are some tiny voids that platonic relationships just cannot fill. • • Every so often a voice in the back of my head will whisper dark thoughts. Every so often I will feel a bit lonely. Especially these days where there are many struggles to face with the pandemic; coping with anxiety, starting a new job, worrying about money and the many unanswered questions. • • And I have been fighting them with strength even I didn’t know I had. And if I may say so myself, I have managed so well so far. And I am so proud of myself. so back during Taylor’s Levi Stadium saturday show, i had an extra snake pit ticket (#singlelifestruggles). when i was picking up the ticket, there was a family next to me and the mother was arguing with the manager at the ticket window because i guess the name for the ticket was slightly misspelled or something so she couldnt get her ticket to go inside (the two teens with her had their own tickets or something, so they were fine). i asked one of them if they wanted a snake pit ticket for their mom but they politely declined, probably stressed out about the situation/im a random stranger bothering them. about an hour later, it dawned on me that i shouldve suggested to them to let their mom use it to at least get in and she could still sit in her seat with them (since no one else would be picking the ticket up from will call anyways), and one of them couldve experienced the snake pit for Charlie or Camila or one of Taylor’s songs then rejoin the rest of them and tell them all about how amazing it was, but of course it was way too late.

its been one month since the show and it still bothers me that i didnt think of that sooner and lost the chance to make a family’s day.
