yesterday i was at a lesbian event with my friend and some lesbians i didn't know and one of them kept complaining about straight ppl at the event which i was very confused by bc i didn't see anyone who looked straight, it was all dykes and trans/genderqueer ppl and a handful of men and all the men seemed probably gay/bi/trans to me and THEN she was like ugh......it's probably bi women bringing their boyfriends 😒 and i was truly so gobsmacked to hear someone say that out loud like my god i thought only ppl on the internet complained about that! very silly thing to say regardless but made sillier by the clear absence of cishet men. and the fact that the event was nevertheless dominated by dykes
